This place is so quiet and peaceful. The staff is super friendly. The room is so clean and spacious. We also received free breakfast which was nice. The hotel is surrounded by some restaurants, gas stations, and 7/11 which is convenient. The pool was super small- great for kids not so much adults. But overall we really enjoyed it.

Hotel is clean and big. It is a good place to stay if you are looking for a quite, serene and large living space.

This is my second time staying at this property. As one of the guests could not make it for the trjp as she was not fit for flying and had to be hospitalised, the hotel refused to make exceptions for amendments to the booking for the emergency situation.

It doesn't hurt to show some empathy.

Just a feedback for the front desk receptionist.
At check-in being asked if I would pay an extra fee for a better view suite. I already booked/paid a lot for our 2BR suite…please do not try to negotiate your guests to pay more money during upon their arrival. We travel for a long drive, it’s not a good time to ask…not worth it.

Another 5-star hotel would greatly appreciate their guests by upgrading to a nicest accommodation room if the hotel has a room available.

We have stayed here before and my family would love to go back. The front office needs to work on services professionalism.

*this is during May, off peak season for khaoyai*

Pros - Rooms were spacious and clean, lobby and facilities are nice, breakfast spread was good (more during wkends), mini bar and water was replenished daily and generous, facilities were spaced out quite far but buggy services prompt and frequent, staff were friendly and willing to help. Great for a quiet retreat.

Cons - construction still ongoing around the lake so the view is not as great as advertised but hotel can’t be faulted for this.

Comfortable base for exploring the Khao Yai National Park. The Atta is one part of three connected resorts within the grounds. You can use facilities in all these. Room spacious & clean. Food in the restaurants is good but pricey. Buffett breakfast very good with International & Thai choices. Better printed information for international travellers would be helpful. Staff pleasant & helpful but limited English spoken so brush up on your Thai. All in all a very pleasant & restful three nights stayed here.

I recently had the pleasure of revisiting this hotel after several years, and I was delighted to find that it has maintained its charm and overall excellence. While the timeless ambiance remains, there are a few aspects that could use a touch-up.

The hotel's aesthetics and furnishings, though classic, have started to show signs of aging. The sofa bed in my room, in particular, required a thorough cleaning as it was noticeably dusty. Despite this minor setback, the rooms still exude luxury and comfort, maintaining the high standards I remembered from previous visits.

One notable area that could be improved is the lighting. The rooms seemed a bit dim, and I believe a brighter ambiance would enhance the overall experience. However, this did not overshadow the positive aspects of my stay.

The service at this hotel is truly exceptional. The staff pays meticulous attention to details, ensuring a pleasant and memorable stay. While some members of the staff may not be fluent in English, their excellent service more than compensates for any language barriers.

A highlight of my visit was the in-house Japanese restaurant, which continues to impress with its authentic cuisine. The dining experience was a true delight, and I eagerly anticipate returning for another culinary journey.

Situated not too far from major attractions, the hotel offers a quiet and quaint retreat. The expansive property is perfect for those who enjoy jogging

The room smells damp and bad most of the time as well the bathroom too. The toilet did not flush well. The room looks very old especially the floor. I found flies in my room at night every night. They must have left the room opened while cleaning. The service is good though.

Hotel is packed with locals over the weekend, you may not find a proper parking space. Check in staff were not very welcoming and hospitable.

Excellent breakfast spread. Beautiful views. However, upon checking in, we realised the in-room slippers were dirty and showed signs of being already worn, and definitely not wrapped in plastic. There were no toothbrushes nor toothpaste either. Called the concierge to ask, was promised to be brought the items. Waited a couple of hours, the items didn't come. I called a 2nd time, they said will bring. Until we checked out after 3 nights, nothing was delivered.

Some mixed feelings about this place...

Atta is part of a complex of 3 resorts. The grounds are well landscaped, with great views over a lake to the mountains of Khao Yai, resort design is attractive and well laid out. Our 1-bedroom suite was on the fourth floor of Block 7, and was very nice indeed -- well equipped, comfortable, great bathroom, and big balcony with a terrific view. Breakfast was a massive (and excellent) buffet (but incredibly crowded with local tourists -- the hotel was packed!). Staff were polite and welcoming. All good.

What put me off a bit was the lack of info about the whole resort. Nothing in our room with details of the restaurants, the spa, or a map of the whole complex to guide you around, or info about the area and what to visit etc.. The couple of times I checked in reception, the information/concierge desks had no-one there and the check-in staff were busy. The Japanese restaurant was fully booked when I asked via customer service for a table, the Thai restaurant was okay but overpriced for what it was, and the room service menu wasn't great. It's a very big complex, and I just regretted the lack of info. I got a map in the end -- but a rather pathetic photocopy of a photocopy that only covered the Atta part of the resort area.

I'd probably stay here again (we were here for 3 nights in total), but would really appreciate more easily accessible info about the whole setup.

Everything is perfect including room's view (lake & mountain), staff service and surrounding environemnt (serene & peaceful).
My husband and I enjoyed the morning breeze walk after breakfast with cold and fresh air.

Good choice for out of city stays.
However that also mean that you need to arrange for your own transport to travel around khao yai.

Lastly, one area of improvement for the room that i stayed could be the cleanliness. Though the bed and sofa looks comfortable and clean, but we did experience some form of itch on skin.

Price paid is not cheap for the room and hence thought they should be more flexible with their children policy especially for families with young children. I have to pay extra for 1 person when the 1 bedroom already comes with a sofa bed which does not make sense to me. The breakfast was good with variety.

Fantastic resort in the quieter part of Khao Yai. Must really have your own vehicle to explore more of the surrounds. Room was fantastic but no utensils available although it can be requested. Housekeeping took more than half hour to respond.
The swimming pool could have been cleaner as there was a film of grease on top with plenty of sediments inside the water.
Overall a very relaxing, idyllic and quaint getaway destination!

Room is big and spacious but we paid for extra bed and instead of a real bed, staff just lay some bedsheet over the existing day bed in the living room. Breakfast is served at both main lobby area and clubhouse- recommend going clubhouse as it is much less crowded, better selection and peaceful but view is nicer at lobby side. Disappointed with the reception service.

Apartment was clean and comes with complimentary mini bar. However, was disappointed with the reception services who:
- did not mentioned that my kids need to pay for their breakfast. It was only make known during checkout.
- acceptable the 1000 THB cash deposit and did not make any records of it.
- the staff later changed their explanation and said that the deposit was used to offset the breakfast and they had return me the balance. (Which was not the case)

Would suggest that the hotel to inform the guest of any additional charges and also to provide receipt for deposit and the additional charges.

We totally enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Atta. The views from our room were absolutely stunning. Do be up early before 7am to enjoy the fresh air at the balcony and have breakfast next to the lake before the sun comes up. Calming and relaxing experience which was worth the price we paid. Room was large. Breakfast was one of the best we had. Service was prompt and polite. We could not switch on the TV and help arrived in less than 5mins. If we have to nitpick, it will be lack of English channels available on the TV. Only 2 English channels and we had to browse through hundreds of channels to look for the 2. It will be good to have more as there is practically nothing to do around the area after 8pm. There are some visible wear and tear on the sofa beds as well. But nothing major that would deter us from staying at Atta the next time we visit Khao Yai!

Stayed in the penthouse on my first night and 2 bedroom on my subsequent 3 nights. The penthouse was large with a nice outdoor (heated) jacuzzi and private pool. It was very nice and feels very classy with its fine decor. But because of the natural stone (eg marble) for flooring and wooden veneers used for paneling, you can see the wear and tear. Otherwise, you feel like living a dream home, waking up to the sight of beautiful mountain and lake!
The 2 bedder was similar in decor though smaller. It still feels good staying in one but the penthouse trumps it by a mile.
