We stayed at this hotel for one night. Even though we checked in late at night the staff were friendly and provided us with a welcome drink. We had a family deluxe room which was one large bed for 2 adults and 2 children. It was a bit of a squeeze but we managed. In hindsight, we should have requested an extra bed but it was so late, we didn’t want to make a fuss. Breakfast was very nice, it was buffet style with different options for a hot meal plus you could help yourself to cereal, pancakes, toast and drinks. They also offered Thai breakfast. After breakfast, we had a walk around the local area, it was very quiet and felt safe. Check out was at 12pm but we were able to stay and use the hotel facilities until our taxi collection at 5pm. We really enjoyed using the pool and the staff allowed our children to pet the bunnies and Mr William the giant tortoise!! We had pizza for lunch which was very tasty. It’s a shame we only had one night here, we would have definitely stayed longer and would definitely return.

V20 hotel is an excellent place to stay in Bangkok if you want some peace and quiet away from the main hustle. Staff are really friendly. It is quite a distance away from the main tourist areas but the hotel does offer a free shuttle to the nearest train. The only problem is getting back. Most suitable for couples.

Okay hotel with some amenities

This hotel is a bit old and out dated. It is situated in an area that is a bit hidden. Have to go through multiples alleys to get to the hotel. It does not have a lobby, just a small room with 2 chairs. If you need to wait for your ride, have to wait outside or the restaurant area. Also our air conditioner does not work that great. Had to get service and then it got cooler. It was at 76F which is a bit warmer for us folks that are used to the cold. Once fixed, it dropped to about 70F which is fine. I have 3 thermometers with me due to carrying insulins, so that’s how I know the room temperature.

Breakfast is okay. It is tiny and nothing spectacular. I would not recommend paying for breakfast though due to the limited options. You can just go get breakfast elsewhere and save your money, and get what you want.

There is a washer/dryer at the back which you can do your own laundry. It cost about 100 baht in total for both the washer and dryer. Very reasonable.

There is a gym and a pool. We went during high season and hotel isn’t too crowded. So if you want a quiet hotel, this would be it.
Unfortunately our next door had a toddler that would scream at the top of their lung when crying and had woke us up multiple times throughout the night. Nothing to do with hotel, but just annoying.

Overall, not a bad hotel, but not the greatest either. The staffs are super friendly. Just wish the hotel is nicer. They do offer free shuttle to the nearest BTS station.

Overall, V20 was a beautiful hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. My only negative review of the hotel was its location. It was roughly 300-400 bhat to get a Grab to the fun parts of Bangkok and it felt as though we were 30-45min away from everything. The hotel itself was lovely, but the location will most likely prevent us from staying there again.

One of the right decisions I made in life, was to book V20 Boutique Hotel. As a person who onced worked at a Hotel back home, I value hospitality with passion.

- My first time in BKK, but not first time in Thailand
- Took a grab from DMK (on a Saturday)(238 baht)
- Room I booked was with a Jet Tub
- Was given a welcome drink upon checking in
- The Receptionist personally led us the way to our rooms
- Room was very spacious & nicely cleaned
- Pillowcases & bedsheet cleanly washed, fresh smell

- They even offered complimentary shuttle to nearest BTS/ MRT / Chatuchak (Enquire from them !)

- Comes with breakfast as well (7am - 10am)

Overall, I'm blown away by how this boutique hotel operates & how friendly all the staffs I've encountered were. Due to my first time in BKK, I decided to book here for a night. But definitely I'll be back next time when I'm back in BKK.

This property supplied directions in both English and Thai to show my taxi driver. That was an excellent help. Check in was easy and the people were friendly and helpful. They enjoyed practicing their English on me. They have a nice shuttle van, almost like a limousine, which took me to the shopping center where nice underground metro station is located. I bought an inexpensive metro card there (mine was for \"elder\" but they have others. The card allowed me to travel by metro many times. I checked out of the hotel to go by train (be sure to pay the little extra to get a first class ticket) to Ayutthaya, but since I was coming back the following day, the V20 hotel allowed me to store my excess baggage with them while I did my journey north. Overall, I highly recommend the V20 Boutique Hotel.

Staff was initially friendly and helpful. When I injured myself and had to depart they were completely inflexible and would not allow me to cancel my booking at all and pay a cancellation fee if any kind. They made me pay for over a week of nights that I wasn't even at their hotel, which is ludicrous especially considering they weren't busy at all.
After notifying them I'd be leaving, talking with them politely and trying to come to a compromise, their tone also changed towards me and my girlfriend and they were kind of rude and short, like they just wanted us gone.
They also did not allow us to use the hotel shuttle at all after I notified them we'd be leaving, which had previously been taking us to the BTS or MRT stations.
Business is business but this shows a total lack of respect, empathy, and compassion. I paid hundreds and hundreds for services not used. I would not recommend this hotel at all for this reason. The area is also very poor for sightseeing, has almost no restaurants or bars, and is not recommended for those visiting Bangkok.

It is a small hotel but surprisingly complete and clean. They have a fitness center, a pool, an aquarium, sauna, function room, restaurant, massage chairs and pool table. What i like most is their service, very friendly and personalized. The food is good especially the green curry. It has a little of everything. One plus is the free shuttle service to and from chatuchak. Very happy! Good value for money!

Odie took us on almost all our tours, speaks good English, good pricing, knowledgeable about all area's we went to visit and a very nice man in general. His sister hue is the manager and will arrange any tours and look after any needs you have with a smile. ( sorry if i spelt your names wrong ) Our 12 Night stay was made even more pleasurable due to these 2 nice people. All the Office Staff and Cooks were fantastic and always had a friendly hello with a smile.

The hotel location was a bit out of nowhere but they have shuttle buses that goes to famous places like Grand Palace and Chatuchak. It is super comfortable. The aquarium is really pretty and a sight to see in a hotel. Jetted spa with a garden view is super worth it for an experience. Breakfast is simple but delicious! If you are planning to visit Chatuchak, this is a super gpod option!

This boutique hotel is so cute! Very cozy with a great wine bar in the lobby. The rooms are very spacious and there’s plenty of room to just hang out around the hotel in between activities. It is a bit far from central Bangkok so a lot of tours won’t pick up directly from the hotel. However, the proximity to the Chatuchak Weekend market is great! The hotel even provides a shuttle!

The hotel's facilities are excellent, we appreciated the nice and large pool and the Finnish sauna. The sauna was perfect to relax after a long day walking through the city. The city center is not close, but it does not take too long by taxi or Skytrain to go to the tourist areas. The staff was very friendly and forthcoming.

Given a standard room instead of deluxe paid. No sleep on first night because of extremely loud and constant water tank noise, although had specifically requested a quiet room. When requested a room change, staff initially talked about maintenance and offered a room in the same floor (2nd) with exactly the same problem. When I demonstrated that the new room has exactly the same issue, was shown a room on 3rd floor with no such issue. However was requested to pay extra for that room!!! Also told that I reserved and given a standard room and the room I want is a deluxe one!!! Also, another point mentioned was that nobody complained yet, so why I do !!! When I protested and showed my reservation for deluxe, reluctantly and with much discontent, especially from one member of their staff, was given the deluxe room, without extra charge. No apology or similar was offered, only asked the next day if the room is OK. So, according to hotel staff, I was given a standard room, although I reserved and paid deluxe and then asked to pay extra to get what I have originally paid. Furthermore, it seems that some rooms in this hotel are not quiet at all, having a constant loud water pump noise just outside the door. Location not great, quite difficult to instruct a taxi. Breakfast not great also, not much variety and limited stuff. Most of personnel friendly and helping, except some reception staff. Had to cancel rest of stay there and pay penalty, found much better place at reduced price.

Family friendly hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and extremely modern with everything you need. We booked 3 rooms, all had different layouts. Room 2011 was larger with a dressing room area. In room complimentary toiletries, daily bottled water, tv, WIFI, minibar, in room safe, large shower with very good water pressure and AC. The magnificent fish tank in the dining area is very unique. We dined at the hotel restaurant for both lunch and dinner and the food was delicious and very affordable. Daily breakfast was a hot set meal as well as a buffet selection. The pool area was beautiful and open 24/7. The small gym had amazing free massage chairs. Check in was super efficient. The hotel shuttle to the local BTS station and market was very convenient. They even picked us up on our return. What makes this hotel a home away from home however, is it's wonderful staff. They were so friendly and so very helpful and met all our needs. Special thanks to Birt, Sirilak, Arkom and Sorn for looking after us so well!. We had a late flight out on our last day and after check out, spent the day using the hotel pool, gym and restaurant and got to know the staff on a more personal level. Would love to return again one day.

We stayed 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer! We were welcomed by very friendly staff and shown to our lovely room with a huge, comfortable bed and a great shower. It was spotless, and a nice touch having complimentary toiletries and slippers. The pool area was lovely with sunloungers, a steam room and a sauna, plus pool towels so you don’t need to use your bath towels. There are also two massage chairs in the gym which we loved! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with a choice of foods available. The free shuttle service to the Metro and Skytrain stations was brilliant. We took the A1 bus straight from Mo Chit Skytrain station to Don Mueang airport, saving ourselves an expensive taxi ride. The Metro is a 15-20 minute walk otherwise through a quiet neighbourhood. There are a few cafes and restaurants in the immediate area, and Union Mall next to the Phahon Yothin was great for picking up cheap clothes and accessories. Overall, we absolutely loved our time here and couldn’t fault it at all. We would recommend to anyone.

My new home in Bangkok!

What a delightful gem. They are close to two different train systems (BTS & MRT) that can get you to the hustle and bustle in no time, with a luxury courtesy van (and a driver that is always smiling and happy!) dropping you and picking you up at the station, a simple phone call away. Late at night, you grab a metered cab and for 50bhat you are back home. Just show them a V20 business card with directions, they won't know where it is. Great aircon, soft beds (in Thailand this is not always a given), spacious rooms, very friendly, efficient and helpful staff. The staff stood out! Great pool to relax in peace and quiet. Very nice breakfast and also a good menu for that meal later, not the cheapest, with variety made fresh for you. You are also close to the Chatachuk market to visit on weekends. The hotel also have decent no nonsense WiFi. Getting to and from the airport can be done by train but when you shopped and have a mountain of bags a transfer is arranged by them at a cost. Takes 40 minutes when there is no traffic and Bangkok style 2 hours with traffic. I don't really want to give a good review, I would like to keep this gem for myself, but having met the owners as well I have no choice, they are very nice people. I will be hardpressed to stay somewhere else in Bangkok in future.

The hotel was very clean and staff were very helpful. Rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Nice quiet pool area.

The only thing negative was that it was far from everything. The hotel did provide a shuttle service to the train station. It was difficult to get a taxi to bring you back to the hotel at night as the taxi drivers didn't know where the hotel was.

A great find. This apparently new and reasonably priced hotel is really something special. Comfortable and cozy room, with the best hotel bed I have ever slept in. Ever! The complimentary breakfast is delicious and not loud or overcrowded like many other hotels.
The underused pool is beautiful and clean. Worth staying in for an afternoon and hanging out. Wished we had spent more time there. The staff are courteous and attentive but also respect your privacy. Located in a great little neighbourhood. Quiet for Bangkok. Although it’s off the beaten track, it close to the BTS & MRT. Several great food and bar options within walking distance and certainly not at all touristy. It was often difficult to get taxi drivers to return to the hotel as it is rather tucked away. So, the FREE shuttle to public transit is amazingly useful but really essential. Phone them upon return and they will also pick you up. The proximity to Chatuchak Market was great, especially on the weekend. Perhaps not ideal if you want the FULL touristy thing, but if you’re looking for something special and are not dettered by a bit of extra planning or even some walking... this is an incredible little hotel. The giant aquarium on site is quite incredible and perhaps worth the stay alone.

There was an incident that happened during my stay that I feel the need to share with fellow travellers. Me and my friend (both female) were staying here for a few nights. On the last night during our stay, in the middle of the night during our sleep, there was a guy who opened the door and peeked into our room and closed it back. the door was locked of course and when we realized someone had opened the door, that scared the hell out of us and we immediately jumped up. We immediately tried to pick up the phone and tried to speak to someone at the front desk, turns out it was the same guy who answered the phone. He apologised and said that he didn’t knew someone was in the room. What was he trying to do going in rooms anyway in the middle of night ? We immediately arranged some furniture against the door for the rest of the night. We stayed up the whole night since that incident. Also, the location is located off the main road. It’s located in a residential area and you would have to walk some distance to get to the train station. And you don’t see many tourists in this area. I would not recommend solo female traveler to stay here.

Very pleasant experience - our family of four unanimously agreed. Our main aim of the short 3-day trip was to shop. The shopping and eating joints were quite a distance away but we are thankful the hotel provided
free transport to those distant places and upgraded our rooms.

A fabulous hotel, a little out of the way, but very cheap taxis, and they also have free transport from the hotel every hour. A lot quieter, beautiful pool, and everything you need to enjoy a relaxing break. I was unwell on my last day, they went to pharmacy and got me everything to make me well again. Very highly recommended, for those that dont want to be in all the hustle and bustle of downtown Bankok. It was so nice, my travel companion changed his hotel to come stay at mine

Pros: nice pool and gym. Beautiful huge aquarium in lobby. Not far from Chatuchak, Central and DonMuang airport.
Cons: Breakfast on Sunday was nice and plentiful. Next day was diminished and sparse?
While eating breakfast Sunday some Thai lady in late 40s/50s wearing too much makeup was trying to convince me i should go on some local excursions even though I advised her i am not a tourist and had already made my own plans. Other than her, all the staff were polite, friendly and kind.

Nice new hotel with great pool! Free breakfast was great. The staff member \"nick named\" Odd was very, very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind to my wife, daughter and me. He really made our stay exceptional. I don't know what he gets paid, but whatever it is he deserves a raise!

I made reservation this hotel for my niece and her friends base on previous customers review and a unique style of V20 Boutique hotel that caught my eyes. It’s great to know They enjoyed staying here. Everything are great,room is huge and comfortable. Breakfast are varieties. I would plan to stay a couple days for my future trip. And thank you to all friendly hotel’s staffs.

Avoid using the mini-bar/snacks in the room

The hotel room was small, but fine.
Breakfast was good, but the cook to order menu takes forever.
Avoid using the mini-bar and snacks in the room. We took one can of coke zero from the fridge and they charged us 42 baht for it! The price list in the room said 35 baht, but when we checked out, they said there is a 17% service charge. First off, that still doesn't add up to 42! Secondly, they didn't serve me anything. I grabbed the can of coke zero from the fridge myself! So what is the service charge for?
It's unfortunate that they left a bitter taste in my mouth right at the end, that too for just 7 baht!

Very comfortable

It seemed like a new room and the bed was very comfortable which was a nice change after some of the hard mattresses we experienced in Thailand. There is also a nice pool. The hotel is in a back street in a good neighbourhood so was quiet. It is not close to train lines but is good for taxis due to proximity to freeway.

The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. I would definitely stay there again.

Clean and adequate for the price.

Our room was very modern, clean and comfortable. The lobby is a bit eclectic and seems somewhat disorganized, not very pleasing to look at. The included hot breakfast was decent and there were a few more choices than I had expected. All and all I would stay here again because of the clean, new room, the price and the breakfast. The location is a little hidden, but if you have a car this isn't a problem. Not as close to Chatuchak market as the website says. This was a little disappointing because that is why we booked this room.
