Excellent and professional service in every way. The reception, check-in and check-out process were impeccable! Much faster and more organized than other hotels in the larger and better chains. It’s a very old hotel. The reception smells bad, and the lifts feel slightly unsafe since the buttons don’t illuminate at all. The area is also a little grimy. While it fell under expectations, the bed wasn’t bad and the aircon works well. The housekeeping staff does a decent job.

Loved this hotel

Love the room because it had a very big closet and I had a lot of luggage for a two week business trip.

The shower was very dangerous to get in and out of. I slipped several times and luckily caught myself. So I would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues.

The breakfast was delicious. Probably not enough for a man wanting a big breakfast but I looked forward to it every day.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and tried very hard to communicate with me in English.

I enjoyed my morning walk along the cancel and there is a fantastic art fair down the street on the weekends.

The hotel was ok. Bathroom in need of refurbishing. 2 days out of 3 we've had no hot water, just warm. The housekeeper lady cannot read instruction, entered room to clean although we've had the DND sign on the door. This happened for 2 days in a row. Apart from these issues, we've had a good stay.

A Good Place To Say

Great location--right in the city center, a short walk from many different places and neighborhoods. Lovely front desk staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfast, very laid back atmosphere. Small swimming pool on roof, good for a late afternoon escape.

In my 8 months traveling in Argentina, I have stayed in many hotels. I work in the construction field. Certain decisions made during a build of construction project, can easily affect the quality of a guests visit to the property. In this case and a few other hotels in Argentina, the quality of the doors were poor and affected the sound quality of the room. I had the unfortunate experience in this hotel, to have a room next to very active and vocal lovers. They made it difficult to sleep. While not directly the hotels problem, the choice of a quality constructed room is. I would still recommend this hotel because all other parts of this experience were great.

I really liked this hotel and want to write a review because I saw some negative reviews from other people. This hotel was clean and very similar to other NH hotels I stayed in the past (mostly in Spain).

The breakfast was great with many options and also cooked to order eggs.
The front desk and other staff were helpful and very polite.

Room was good. Staff very helpful. Gave us directions to nearest services laundrette as we were on a two week trip and wanted to wash our clothes cheaply.
Only issue is that walls between rooms are very thin so could hear next rooms tv at 1.30am late at night and 6am in the morning. When we complained to Hotel reception about next door room TV at 1.30am they dealt with it very quickly.

First time at this hotel...friendly bi-lingual staff. Breakfast was continental with lots of pastries and fruit, cheese, meats. Very clean and well presented. No eggs. Two elevators was a plus as the wait times were always brief. Parking at a nearby (2.5 blocks) garage for $10/day. No complaints on services. The only surprise was I had to pay the 21% IVA for my companion's room (about $150 for four days) as she is Argentine while I am an \"extranjero\" from the USA and did not have to pay this tax.

Beware, stay anywhere else!

I booked here because the reviews on this site were so positive. Just goes to show you can't trust anything you read on the Internet. This hotel is situated in downtown Córdoba. It has no air conditioning in any room and the room temperature was 27 degrees. The only way to cool the room is to open the windows. Unfortunately, opposite the hotel is the loudest nightclub in Córdoba. Thumping music, people shouting and screaming, car horns blaring all night until 5:00 AM. I didn't sleep for the two nights that I was there. When I complained they just shrugged their shoulders. I asked if they could allow me a later checkout than 12:00 PM so I could try and get some sleep before my long flight and they flatly refused. I had to change my flights because of this and pay a penalty. The breakfast, if you can call it that was meager and one lift was broken so trying to leave in the morning for my meetings took 30 minutes waiting for the lift to arrive. Do yourselves a favour don't stay here they just don't give a crap!

Quick friendly check in. Nice large room with BATHTUB! Not noisy despite busy road bars within 30 seconds, restaurant in hotel very good and very reasonably priced but great restaurants less than 10 mins away along the stream la Canada (turn right from hotel and follow the stream). Recommended

If you're a night owl and need a hotel close to your bar to stumble into at 4am this is a good spot... ok, so the hotel was decent, the gentleman at the front desk with the silver fox hair was really nice. We called down to ask where the pool was, got a lady who was s but rude. We asked where the pool was in Spanish, it says 7th floor, but there was no 7 on the elevator. We went to the 6th, no sign, nothing. You need to use the emergency exit door (not alarmed) to access the pool, it's lackluster, tiny and deep, but great city views. At night, around about 11-12am, you get free jams from the 3 bars near the hotel, they go on until 5 am. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs! We stayed on a Wednesday and Thursday, not even weekends. The AC was bad, you can set it to 13C but it won't go below 23c, and it leaves the room humid, warm sticky sheets in the summer are horrible, add in thumping music and it's hard to sleep. The breakfast is ok, nothing hot but it does the job.

Convient and staff were helpful for the short stay. Room was quiet and comfortable. Internet is always a concern for buisness and communications and it worked flawlessly with good bandwidth. I guess only concern is payment for public parking which is not co-located. Unfortunately, parking is a problem everywhere so this is the best of a bad situation.

The hotel is in the Centro near everything...I would strongly suggest if you choose to stay here ask for a room at the rear of the hotel as this hotel is on a very busy road and a couple of niteclubs are opposite and it's goes till around 4am to 5 am in the morning then the traffic increases..part from that it's AOK

Worth the money, but nothing fancy.

I must say they have a really good photographer. I say that because many of the photos look better than in reality:

- The swimming pool is more like a big jacuzi. Imagine the smallest pool you can imagine and it's smaller than that. Although the terrase looks nice.
- The hotel lobby and restaurant are a bit old-fashioned. Clean and tidy but you can feel it's not on the luxury side.
- The breakfast is a total dissappointment! I stayed 2 weeks here and they served the EXACT same food every day. 2 types of ham, 1 type of cheese, 2 types of fruit and 3 types of sweets and cereal. Nothing warm, nothing cooked. At least an omlette would have been nice once in a while.
- Clean. Very clean and the room cleaning service does a great job.
- Hotel staff - very friendly but their English is kinda rusty.
- Location - in the middle of the city, 2 minutes walk to a big mall and all the night attractions.

OVERALL - good services, worth the money and OK if you're not looking for anything too fancy. However, if luxury is what you're looking for, you could upgrade to a hotel that's maybe 25% more expensive and get more of that there.

Adequate Hotel in a Great Area of Córdoba.

Hotel NH Córdoba Urbano is well-located, walking distance from museums, parks, shopping, historic areas, architectural gems and the oldest university in Argentina, yet not right in the middle of the center of Córdoba. Consequently, sleep was not interrupted by traffic noise, and people live in the area -- so that there are restaurants not geared only for tourists, a nearby supermarket, and just around the corner, a place to drop off your laundry (much cheaper than having the hotel do it.) The area is lovely.

The only negative was that the room key card doubles as a kill-switch that turns off your electricity (except to the refrigerator) when you leave the room. So, no charging electronics while you are away, unless you ask for an additional room key, which was provided on request.

Breakfast buffet was reasonably tasty and ample, but this is Argentina so don't expect bacon or sausage and eggs. I didn't eat at the restaurant at lunch or dinner.

Breakfast was rather disappointing, when compared with other hotels in Argentina.

Wiring in room is terrible. You have to play with the lamp switches to get them to work. Bahtroom light switch was also not working properly.

Room had a nice patio, but the locks for the patio doors were cumbersome.
Hotel uses too much air perfume which can be annoying.

When we arrived we went to our room and discovered that there was no door on the safe in the closet. We were assigned to a different room after it was checked to see if the safe worked. There were three couples of us, and they did this for all three rooms. The staff was very accommodating throughout our stay, and the internet service was fast. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Clean and very good location within the City of Cordoba

Our Room was located on the front side of the building facing the street and experienced some traffic / city noises well in to the early morning hours. My wife and I actually enjoyed the sounds of the city at night and did not have any problems sleeping. If you prefer a more tranquil sleeping experience I would request a room that does not front to the street.

The room and facilities were very clean and the staff was most helpful.

The roof top swimming pool area was small but it worked for us since we were the only ones using the pool.

The morning buffet was typical for Argentina, limited cold cut meats - cheeses - fruit and pastries. It wasn't great but it was typical for the area and the food was fresh.

The location of the hotel was centrally located to all of the events we needed to attend and were able to walk to many of the Historic areas as well as a modern shopping mall around the corner. The location was as good as any other for considerably less money.

If you are looking for a 5 Star Hotel with all of the additional amenities than the NH Urbano is not for you. If you are looking for a moderately priced Hotel with clean comfortable rooms than we would recommend the NH Urbano. We will absolutely consider staying at the NH Urbano on our next trip to Cordoba.

El Hotel es muy elegabte, buen desatuno, limpieza excelente y buena vista desde la pileta ubicada en la terraza, lo que complica es no tener estacionamiento, llegar a una ciudad a descansar luego de horas de viaje encontrarte que el hotel no dispone de estacionamiento propio ni tampoco asociado.... te genera un problema y malestar.

Muy buen lugar ...solo tengo que decir que no estoy de acuerdo que vos por la página te dicen un precio total y al registrarse varía casi en 3000 pesos , lo cual te explican q es el IVA está informado muuuuuy abajo en letra muy chica, sería bueno q cuando te dan el total sea el final el que vos abonas .

BOM, COM RESSALVAS.

Esperava mais por ser da rede NH que tem um padrão bem elevado em outros países. Atendimento no balcão prestativo. Prédio conservado e quarto bom, mas abaixo do padrão NH. Localização muito boa.
A parte negativa é o café da manhã. Sem muitas opções, principalmente de frutas e atendimento que manchou o nome NH. Após entrarmos dentro do horário para o café da manhã, já estávamos comendo e bebendo o café, quando minha esposa foi pegar um novo café simplesmente já tinham recolhido não só o café como outras coisas, ou seja, vc pode entrar dentro do horário mas não pode comer ou beber depois de fechar. Vai entender. Se forem regras, me desculpem, totalmente erradas. Paga-se por um padrão NH.

En el hotel bien. Lo que ha sido una estafa de Hotels.com es que habiendo comprado un hotel en Argentina y pagado con una tarjeta Argentina y siendo residente argentina me han cobrado el impuesto país del 35% + 30% ES UNA ESTAFA

Buena ubicación, le falta mantenimiento

El hotel está bien ubicado y el personal es muy cordial. Pero le falta mantenimiento (las 2 habitaciones tenían manchas de humedad, por ejemplo). No tiene estacionamiento, pero hay uno a unos metros abierto 24hs y con tarifa razonable.
