The check-in and room preparedness was perhaps the worst of our extensive travel experience. Although there was roughly 300 linear feet of curbside parking available for unloading passengers and baggage, its entire length was blocked-off by traffic cones spaced about 15 feet apart and about 3 feet out from curb. No assistance was offered or available for unloading baggage. Lobby is only accessible by stairs (four steps above street level). Room was unserviced (bed unmade). Staff spoke virtually no English, and were surly and disrespectful.

Staff needs training in customer service. They don’t know how to resolve an issue to keep the customers happy. Laundry service very expensive and not good it costs almost as one night room charge for a pair of pants and two shirts. Service at breakfast not mind full to keep the buffet updated .

A Noisy Stay with Friendly Faces

My recent stay at Amérian Cordoba Park Hotel was unfortunately quite disappointing. While the location was convenient, that's about where the positives ended. The most significant issue was the paper-thin walls. I could hear everything – and I mean everything! From the constant street noise outside (cars, sirens, people talking) to my neighbors' conversations as if they were in my own room, it made getting any restful sleep nearly impossible. I was also treated to the delightful sounds of their toilet flushing and showers running throughout the night. It felt more like staying in a noisy dorm than a hotel.
I will say, the reception staff was consistently friendly and helpful, which was a small bright spot. However, their excellent service couldn't overcome the fundamental issue of the noise. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is definitely not the place.

The shower did have preassure, beacuse the faucet was always open. I complained. They did not accept a room change. They sent someone to fix it. The plummer told me the shower was fixed. Next day, I tried to take a shower, and the shower was still malfunctioning.
The buffet breakfast was mediocre.
Despite those problems, I have to say that the staff was very polite.

Desastre el flaco del front desk. Nos enviaron a una cuarto sin aire, era una caldera. Sumado al divino del flaco de mantenimiento que nos dijo que los equipos centrales iban a enfriar en una hora. Nos cagaron la vida! Por suerte apareció un mgn y nos cambió de cuarto sin pensar. Lamentablemente no era el hotel o alguna columna de aire central, sino que el bendito cuarto 907. Unos genios estos tipos!

Very nice hotel with great staff and great location. The only downside was the fact that the Air condition can't be regulated in each room and when it got a bit colder outside they put the heater, making very warm in the room so we needed to open the windows

It was horrible service , they charge for hot water , room was so dirty at check in , old guest had dirty sucks in the room, insects in the bathroom, sheet had blood spots on it and floor was so dirty
Tried to ask to get the room changed after 45 min of waiting we went to a lower category room was also dirty so we decided to come back to our old room and ask them to clean it and they said they have no one who can clean it and very unfriendly front desk, asked for a manager he said we have no manager And he said he can let them manager know to talk to us in the morning which never happened. I would never stay at this old torn down hotel and will not recommend anyone to stay

Starting with the positives: the location is great. In spite of being in the middle of everything, the room was quiet. You have stores, food, tourist sites within a few blocks. The breakfast was buffet style: good however staff fell behind on replenishing items and the coffee/ milk/ hot water station was very messy and awkward for serving.
The room was comfortable a spacious but in general the lighting was poor even in the bathroom. ( I couldn’t find a good spot for putting on makeup). Also, there is a huge lack of outlets. There were no outlets near either nightstand. The temperature control was in a very unexpected spot: we found it on the 3rd day of our stay. We would use the hotel again because of the convenient location but I wouldn’t consider it a 4 star hotel at an international level.

This is an older property that has been renovated about 5 years ago. That being said the location is in a very busy part of Cordoba. The traffic never stops and the noise is constant. The heavy curtains do their best so sleeping is not a problem.

The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. If you buy the buffet breakfast atv$355p/p, it is a great selection with plenty of fresh fruit, juice, yogurt shakes, eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, baking.

The one issue that we had was that the air conditioning was not very cooling in our room. The vent was poorly placed. And it didn't blow as much cold aircas expected.

No parking space available so they send you no a near by commercial center. Linens and towels dirty. We actually had to claim twice to have a new dirty towel to be changed. Refrigerator not working and they replaced it. Looked as they were experts in changing fridges already. outdated A/C does not allow regulation. Bathroom without maintenance. Definitively we don't understand how this hotel is rated 3,5 stars.

Well placed, but I was expecting better

The reputation of this hotel is bigger than what it is. But overall it is fine. Clean, quiet, very well placed at the heart of nueva cordoba (a nice neighborhood), near bars, restaurants, shopping malls and 10 minutes walking from downtown cordoba.
The rooms are small and slightly outdated, with some details; a chip of the fake wood floor missing, or glass windows very dirty on the outside. Although very clean and comfy, you can tell that infrastructure and regular maintenance is suffering from some problems.
And the parking spots... not only expensive, but also tiny. If your car is bigger than a compact, you'll have a hard time parking and getting out of the car.

Right in the thick of it all.

The Amérian is right across the street from a beautiful mall and faces a nice plaza. It is literally in the heart of Córdoba. We were able to see the final of FIFA 2014 as it was broadcast over a huge screen in the plaza. We also saw all the aftermath as well. You will be close to many dining choices as well as the hotel restaurant which is very good. The rooms are very nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. The minibar could be improved, but it had the basics. The shower was small, but the bathroom was clean and functional overall.

The room is average, but be prepared for a noisy room. The hotel is located at an intersection across from the local mall. The cars and especially the motorcycles go by here all night long. The location is between old Cordoba and new Cordoba within walking distance to most of the local attractions and the streets are full of college kids as the hotel is only blocks from the campus. If you are looking for night life this is the place to be, Johnny be Goods, the local hangout is only up the street.

Everything great, but if you hate being hot, even when it is late fall and the heater is off, avoid this place. This is late May and the highs were 72F and we were miserable in the room. Cant turn on the AC in the fall and the ventilation was the worst ever. Over 80F in our room even when we cam home with window open at 3AM and it was 50 outside. We sweated in the sheets. I can't see how the air circulation could ever be this bad anywhere. Everything else was nice tho, just be ready to sweat

This was a repeat stay, and we will surely be back on future trips to and through Córdoba. There are nicer hotels in Córdoba, but none so well located as this, which is on the dividing line between the historic center and the trendy newer part of town. It's a good business-class hotel with a nice pool and deck on the roof. There are hotels with more personality in the older part of town, which doesn't feel all that comfortable at night. There are also more luxurious hotels that are a drive from anything you want to see or visit. The Amerian offers a compromise - a comfortable stay within walking distance to everything.

This was my second stay at this hotel, which is a good value for the price. It is well located, has comfortable rooms and a good breakfast service (included as in most South American locations). Wi-fi access is free, a nice perk. The major shortcoming was the shower, which was very small - I am not fat (6'1, 180 lb) but had to wash myself sideways to avoid hitting the wall or the side glass panel...

Pool and sauna was closed, air conditioner didn't work, hotel staff were nice and accomidable, they did give us a free pass to a gym with pool three blocks away but when we went the pool was only for fitness swimming and you needed a speedo/swim cap. Overall nice city not extremely touristy tho. Lots of nightlife everyday of the week.

Find a better hotel

The room was hot because the hotel turns off A/C during day. The turns on heat in the mornoing. Because all rooms are on same system, EVERY room is uncomfortable (stayed with others in adjacent rooms).
The gym was 4 blocks away, and was closed Saturday afternoon, and all day Sunday.
I will NEVER return when there on business next time.

Average 4 star hotel. Staff have real attitude problem - unhelpful reception staff, rude waiters ( made rude comment in Spanish which he thought we didn't understand - unfortunately for him we did!) No restaurant - only a pseudo English oak beam type resto-pub with bizarre menu. Do yourself a favour and stay in one of Cordoba's other 4 star hotels.

El personal súper atento, muy amable, habitaciones limpias, los alimentos del restaurante muy ricos, personal de restaurante muy amable, solo extrañamente la carne y el pescado nos lo dieron muy muy reseco, de ahí en fuera en resto de los alimentos muy ricos, buen vino, buen café. Para mi gusto (como mexicana) hace falta más variedad en el desayuno, demasiado pan y harinas en el desayuno para mi gusto mexicano.
Las instalaciones son un poco mejor en las imágenes que muestran que en físico, los colchones están algo desgastados, creo se puede mejorar.

.Hotel muito bem localizado, pertinho do centro histórico e ao lado de um shopping. O box do banheiro é um pouco apertado, mas nada que atrapalhe. Único ponto realmente negativo foi o valor extorsivo cobrado pela garagem. Custou 45 mil pesos para 1 noite!!! Absurdo em comparação com outros hotéis que ficamos na Argentina.

O hotel é muito bem localizado, sendo possível acessar todos os pontos turísticos de Córdoba apenas caminhando. O atendimento é excepcional, os funcionários foram muito solícitos e educados. O quarto, apesar de não possuir muitas tomadas (o que dificultava o carregamento de vários aparelhos ao mesmo tempo), era confortável e possuía uma vista muito bonita da cidade. O hotel possui piscina e academia. Não contratei serviço de café da manhã e nem estacionamento.

Muy buena ubicación cerca de todo, ocupé la habitacion junior suite Nº 608, 2 noches y estaba muy mal mantenida, el baño había tenido una filtracíón en el techo, el aire acondicionado muy ruidoso, con un termostato de regulación antiquisimo, el mobiliario esta deteriorado, le falta renovación en general, la relación precio producto mala.-
