We had a wonderful stay at the Lake Louise Inn. Check in was convenient and easy but we had a small issue with our room, that was not the hotels fault, and Sweety at the front desk took care of it immediately. The customer service not only with the front desk but throughout the property was some of the best we have ever had. Every person we encountered was helpful and kind. The town itself is much smaller than I thought but so were so lucky to have fantastic restaurants onsite. We had a huge breakfast buffet downstairs every morning and had dinner in the upstairs restaurant every night. The dinner menu is great, we all had something different each night so it did not repetitive and it was all fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about this property and if we are lucky enough to be in the area again we will absolutely stay here again.

The property itself is very nice and well maintained, safe, and easy to get around. Both restaurants onsite were very good. The only problem was that the room was uncomfortably hot with no way to control the room temperature. We sat in the room with the door wide open for hours until we went to sleep only to awaken in a couple hours hot and sweaty. Not sure if the boiler room was next door or what as it was only about 60 degrees out during the day and 45 degrees at night. A fan was provided and helped a little bit, we requested a second one and that helped a bit too, but the 2 electric outlets on the wall opposite the bed were not working so fan placement was very limited. We were unaware that the outlets were dead until the next morning when we realized our cell phones had not charged at all. We reported the matter to the front desk but no one came by to fix it that we know of.

This property was QUITE expensive and it was not worth the price. The room was clean but was outdated. There is no microwave or refrigerator and no air conditioning. I have paid less than $100 in other places for the same or better accommodations.

À notre retour après 16:00 l’employé fut très désagréable et sèche Quant à ce qui est de la chambre est était dans un état lamentable et vétuste. Lake Louise is a beautiful place, but it's been so terribly oversold and overbuilt that it's a little heartbreaking. This property is a good example. It was over $400 a night for a room of a quality so shabby and dismal it was shocking. (I paid $80 for a room of a similar nature just a week earlier in Lillooet.) The shuttle to the lake is $45, parking at the lake is impossible, and even the local public bus is $10 RT.

Hint: if you MUST see Lake Louise, go after 7 PM. Parking is free, and there are only a handful of savvy travelers.

Location is ideal for trips to Lake Moraine, Lake Louise, and other popular hikes and sights since it seems to be in the heart of Banff national park. Depending what room you get, can be challenging. I must have went with a low budget room considering the flight, car rental, and a week spending in the national park. Room had the necessities for staying. Only two things I was not a fan of was how thin the walls were to hear from neighbors and house keeping. Also no A/C though mentioned via Expedia but no way to turn off their thermostat. Pretty slept with the window open. Luckily it was early June where weather was mid 40’s to 30 the lowest. Aside from these two it’s still inferior to the ideal location and wonderful scenery around plus shuttle convenience offered by the resort.

We loved our stay at Lake Louise Inn. Accessible to the Park&Ride shuttle, Icefield Parkway and Yoho national park. My family enjoyed the pool and fitness gym. There is also free mini golfing though we did not have time to enjoy it.

Our room was in the building 4 (a separate building from the main property). This is a very old building asking for renovation. Despite the fact that the building has four floors, there are no elevators. The room was old and poorly taken care of. The thermostat was a relic as well as the small tv in the corner. There was a musty sulfur smell that never cleared despite leaving the window open 24/7 during our entire stay. The bathroom has a leaking sink (we had to put the trashcan under the leak as it dripped all night). Totally unacceptable for a room that costs more $600 a night (breakfast NOT included).

Room layout was great, wonderful to have the kitchen. The problem was the \"bed\". Basically a hide-a-bed, you could feel the springs and it was hard to get in and out of for these active seniors. Pizza and salad were excellent, as was the service from Oleg. Pricey, but very nice property..just need to improve the bed!

The room was quite dated and only had a single lamp, making it feel dimly lit. We also experienced electrical issues, as the power tripped when we used the kettle and coffee machine at the same time. Throughout the night, the unit made loud creaking noises, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, the room was disappointing and did not meet our expectations

The room we stayed in was not in the area that has been renovated. It's small, is dated, but clean. The bed was comfortable and we had a good stay there.
The breakfast was among the best we've had in a hotel. Lots to choose from, and very good.
They have bikes for rental, and we were pleased to find out there is actually no cost for them. They are available for a 4 hour window.
Lake Louise is about 4 km away, but up a steep hill. Be sure to sign up for Park Canada shuttle in advance, or take the local bus, route 11, which you can catch just across the street for $5.

The rooms are clean, and many fixtures are newer, but the rooms smell like wet ski boots and old microwave popcorn. When we asked to change to a different room because of the smell, we were told that we were upgraded to a suite. It smelled odd as well, and their idea of a suite is a MURPHY bed and a pull -out couch. As you would expect with those kind of things, the mattresses were thin and lumpy. They didn't share that information when they offered to \"upgrade\" us. I really regret booking there and would NOT recommend.

We were unaware that we would need a parks pass for parking at the Inn. Thankfully the staff advised us at check-in and we were able to use their public office and print one.
Also we were up before the restaurant or coffee shop officially opened and a very helpful staff member noticed us hanging around and grabbed us a couple of coffees to go.

We were in building 5 on the 3 rd floor. I loved the shower head. It felt like rain and so relaxing when showering.

The place was also quiet during our stay.

Pricey place to stay. The extra resort fee was around $260 for 4 nights. Be ready to pay for extra resort fee. It was not included in the amount you paid in Expedia.

The restaurants in Lake Louise area were also expensive.

The room has microwave and refrigerator. If you want to save money for food make sure you buy microwavable foods before heading to Lake Louise.

Location was very close to Park and Ride and the Visitors center. It is also just 30 minutes drive to Emerald Lake, where you can rent a canoe for $100.

Over all it was a nice stay.

Location is the only thing this resort has going for them. Buildings and rooms are outdated and poorly maintained. Room costs are exuberant compared to what you get in return. It was clean enough but the rooms are small and amenities are jut about non existent. Hot tub and pool are located in a different building, not even a lift in a three level building.

Enquired about an upgrade on arrival and we were offered a reasonable increase for a much larger option. Suite including a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 bedroom, 1 loft was perfect for 2 couples to hang out and privacy. Restaurant food for dinner was good, but the breakfast buffet the hot food was cold, even though they were in warming units.

Breakfast buffet was sub-par. Food was cold though we paid full price. They did offer to microwave the meal but for $27 and we only had one plate because of the quality we would suggest comping or discounting the meal.
No air conditioning should be mentioned. We were fine with room temp but we were at facility in early June.
We did not use hot tub nor pool as they shut down before we arrived. Suggest keeping it opening later as many guests are there for hiking experiences and a hot tub would be nice at the end of a busy day.

This stay I would rate as bad based on the stay. Staff were wonderful so nothing wrong there. This property has 5 buildings, we stayed in building number 4, room numbers start with 4xxx.
The reason for poor rating for stay is as follows:
1. The rooms do not have air conditioner.
2. The window can be opened 2ft x 2ft only for air intake.
3. They have a small table fan with 20inch diameter blade.
4. End of May with high humidity, we have to leave the room door open till midnight for the room to get cooler so we can go to sleep.
5. I felt I was staying in a tropical country with hand fan.
6. So If you book at this hotel if the room is at bldg-4, unless it is winter and snowing i would not stay in that bldg.
7. Room has 2 twin beds only so plan accordingly
8. There are no elevator/lift in that hotel for any of the bldg's, so plan accordingly
9. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom.

We stayed in Building 2 - very basic room with no updates in recent years. Bathroom fan disconnected, water damage to bathroom door casing. No air conditioning in room. Stand up fan provided instead. Extension cords throughout room due to lack of plugins.
Patio doors very sticky and hard to open/close. Cigarette butts everywhere behind building 2 where people smoking on patio.
Main building in good condition and reception staff friendly, but definitely not worth the price.
Timberwolf restaurant excellent. Pizza delicious and staff helpful and efficient.

Real mixed bag - mattresses very soft, especially sofabed (which, when deployed, impossible to fit two beds, table, chair without blocking access to the door which felt a bit of a fire hazard). Shower curtain rail reattached multiple times, glue-discs from earlier versions still on wall, now so low that curtain draped across floor of the tub - trip hazard.

Food good to great, buffet excellent value, but resto management worst I've seen in decades - of 3 restos claimed, only 1 open. Table setup poor: 2-tops left placed as 4s & 6s but only couples sat, while folks were literally being turned away as 'no tables available'.

At breakfast sat with no coffee for 10mins, no passing server, then after being topped up was revisited twice in <5mins to be offered unneeded extra coffee. Feasted on great cheese, fruit, smoked salmon; bacon overdone, runniest oatmeal I've seen since a staged Oliver Twist gruel scene. Food budget choices = weird!

Staff friendly, but all recent imports with wide range of skill - nice, polite, but very variable in efficiency.

'Eco-friendly' used to excuse no AC - but baseboard heaters & desk fans are far worse than a heatpump; single-use Keurig type coffeemaker in each room; heated pool/hottubs; chocolate fountain at breakfast!? Wasted power at every turn...

Both wife & I worked in a similar small, remote, budget, mountain hotel: we know the challenges involved. Great location, much potential, but managers, not staff, need replaced - especially in F&B!

The deluxe suite was nice but we never used the balcony. It was nice to look out the courtyard instead seeing other guests walk by the windows.

I loved the soaps.

This property was excellent in all categories. We were immediately very impressed with the beautiful lobby/restaurant/lounge area and were surprised by a complimentary upgrade! The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. All of the staff were extremely nice and seemed happy to see you. We had delicious blueberry muffins 2 mornings and a delicious dinner in the upstairs restaurant. Absolutely no complaints. We would definitely book here again.

Despite still being expensive for a room, the bar was closed as it was \"off season' the pizza restaurant
Closed Sunday and Monday too. All that was left was a cafe style restaurant with just OK food. A real shame as the location was good. Parking Very good though and pool seemed nice. Very small centre to Lake Louise but we should have researched. Sadly without the bar and proper restaurant open, it wasn't great value. Not terrible, just disappointing.
