This place is very nice. We didn’t care, but there is no TV in in the rooms. The rooms are spacious and very nice.

It’s about 10 to 15 minutes outside of Lake Louise and there’s literally no food there. However they’re marketing makes it sound like there’s a restaurant there which there is not!

As long as you know that it’s a great place

This was our first night in Banff, and we were pleasantly surprised by how amazing this location was! The location couldn't be more picturesque. The owners have done a great job maintaining this jewel. One tiny complaint is that internet is pretty bad throughout the property. I don't need streaming at a rustic place like that, but even checking email at night was impossible. Otherwise we can't wait to come back for a longer stay!

This property was absolutely perfect! It was a great location for seeing Banff and Lake Louise. Because of the wooded environment, we were able to see so much wildlife. Definitely recommend staying here! Especially if you enjoy the rustic outdoors.

All I can say is wow. We had an amazing time staying at this ultra beautiful and peaceful oasis in the forest. The room was clean and beautiful with a fireplace, they also give you kindling as there are fire pits along the river. There was a soaking tub in our room and I was given a bath bomb to use. There is a fridge, microwave, kettle, and pour over coffee maker in the room and front desk will provide you with anything else you may need. It was so great we didn’t want to leave. Thank you for the lovely stay.

A fantastic location to stay wish we could have stayed more to enjoy the nice location and the views. I would definitely recommend it. We got the suite room and everything was nice, clean, well maintained.

Our only issue was the list had kitchen photos too which we were expecting but maybe not in the room we booked or we missed something. So, probably a better description might have helped

Location is a perfect for tranquility after a day of hiking. Comfortable, spacious lots of trees, firepits, river, balcony, fireplace amenities. Staff is onsite to meet any of your needs. Lake Louise village is 15 mins aways. Definitely recommend this location.

Great cabin in natural setting. Perfect for outdoor lovers. Nice river with fire pits and gym and laundry facilities. Staff are nice. Close to Lake Louise and about 30 minutes from Banff. No TV. No kettle which Australians like to use. Bring your own supplies like bowls and cutlery. Very unique and different. Train noise at night.

Lovely cabins nestled in the bush creekside about 15 min drive from Lake Louise Village. Comfortable well maintained cabins with wood burning fireplaces (wood provided). Creekside fire pit areas with wood and complimentary blanket usage. A bit pricey nit well worth it!

This location has a beautiful setting on the river with mountains out your back door. Neighbors above can be a bit noisy and the mouse in our room for two nights was not enjoyable. Running out of toilet paper was a lil strange and expecting anything from staff other than checking you in is asking too much. The tub in room had very hot water which was nice. There is alot of train traffic throughout the night that can be heard if light sleeper. About 15 minutes to basic needs but otherwise nothing else around which can be a plus. Mixed feelings about this place - if it wasn’t for the scenery and nice fire pit we’d probably be very disappointed.

Cute cabins and very well appointed. Everything you need has been thought of and made available. The Rocky products are a nice touch. The Real fireplace instead of gas gives a rustic and romantic feel.

Amazing cabins in a beautiful, convenient setting. Well equipped cabins and great amenities including camp fire pits, bbqs, fat tire bikes, laundry, gym, steam room and sauna.

The floor of our bathroom in the cabin was not maintained well and the sauna/steam room was also less than clean. We still
enjoyed the stay. Some attention to these areas would make this an 11/10 home base for a vacation to this area

Stayed in a cabin with loft. Staff made check in super easy. Cabin was excellent. No tv, but that shouldnt be an issue for anyone who wants to get away from hectic city/town life.

There is wildlife all around. There was a bear walking around when we were there. Had to go back into the cabin quickly with our 3 year old when the other guests alerted us of the bear.

Make sure to bring food with you as there is limited supplies onsite.

This place was perfect for us — we truly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we checked in and walked into our cabin with its beautiful river view, everything felt peaceful and relaxing. Listening to the sound of the river flowing, surrounded by mountains, nature, and the cool fresh air, made it such a special experience.

The fire pits were perfect for gathering together and enjoying quality family time. It was the perfect place to disconnect from everything and simply enjoy the moment.

We came to celebrate my in-laws’ 50th anniversary, and they absolutely loved it — which meant so much to us.

For future guests:
The cabins are secluded, which makes the experience even more peaceful. If you have a Costco membership, I highly recommend stopping in Calgary before arriving to stock up on snacks, breakfast items, and wine. Our cabin (#5) included a mini stove, which was very helpful for making breakfast, sleeping in a little longer, and then getting back on the road. Eating out in Banff can get quite expensive, so this definitely helped us save some money.

We bought milk, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal, bread, jelly, and peanut butter for quick breakfasts and sandwiches for the road. There are times when restaurants are far away, and if you plan on hiking, you’ll definitely want to bring plenty of snacks.

Other than that, if you’re looking for a peaceful camping getaway, this is the place. Don’t hesitate — you will definitely enjoy it.

Fantastic stay!! Would definitely stay again. It felt wonderful to be away from the city. They upgraded us to a loft suite, which our son loved, as it was his birthday. Friendly staff, friendly guests, wonderful fires to sit around and blissfully quiet.

This place is amazing!! Beautiful secluded spot by a creek. The room was great, clean, big and felt like a cabin but a bit more elevated. There’s no tv, but I can’t imagine people would want to use one much since outside is so beautiful! Lake Louise is only 20 mins away and there a lot of beautiful hikes and views nearby. The only thing I didn’t like was the walls seem to be paper thin. I could hear everything from the rooms around me. So bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper or stay in one of the actual cabins on the property. Otherwise it’s a great place. One of my new faves and will definitely be booking again!

I missed the cut off day to cancel, as I suffered an unexpected medical emergency the day before checkin, preventing my 2 sons and I from going on our spring break get away. They wouldn’t let me reschedule or reimburse anything. They then called at 10:30 pm of my check in day asking if I found anyone to takeover my reservation and to let them know by the next morning, so they could rent it out. Why would I happily agree to them double dipping and benefiting from my misfortune?

The cabins were quite charming, but staff was not helpful - we arrive an hour early with a little kid desperate for a bathroom, and no we weren’t allowed cause our room wasn’t ready. Not only that, when we came back after checking time, the room still wasn’t ready, and because there are no amenities on site, the front desk told us to go to the gym to kill time. The hotel is remote, so there’s nothing around for miles. Incredibly unhelpful, and not set up for families. Their wifi is also terrible - had we known we would have come more prepared to be off grid with little kids. There is also no food anywhere except driving into a convenience store in lake Louise - again had we known, we would have come prepared. Just not as advertised and no hospitality at all.

The indoor fireplace is wonderful, and everything is very clean. You can really see the care they’ve put into the place, even with simple décor and amenities. I also loved the complimentary skates and sauna. There is a beautiful creek next to the lodge with stunning mountain views, and everything you need is conveniently close by.

Very clean log cabin. It is in Banff National Park and just 15 minutes from Lake Louise Ski Resort and Lake Louise. The property suffered from the meltdown last week and refreeze. So the grounds were solid ice, but the staff warned all we still made it out to the river and the fire pits. The free firewood for the woodburning fireplaces and pits was a lovely touch. We even ice skated! The only thing I was surprised by was the small fridge and lack of a stove. We adjusted to the plug in induction cooktop and the convection/microwave combo. I always forget plastic wrap and foil! We would stay here again and the quiet and lack of tv was a blessing. Our family talked, skied, walked, explored, played games and rested!!!

The bathroom and jacuzzi and mattress were nice and new but the place gave very authentic log cabin feels which i loved. The kindling and matches and blankets were such a nice touch at check in. We stayed in the Queen Cabin, and it was perfection. Upon arrival the check-in staff was very friendly. She let us know that we could rent snowshoes, ice skates or bikes free of charge. Additionally she let us know where the fire pits, bbq’s, extra blankets for sitting around the fire, and the sauna and steam room are located. Gave us some coffee (and told us we could come get more if we needed more) and I got to pick out a complimentary bath bomb. When we got to our cabin, it was immaculate! So clean. We had lots of firewood stacked both inside and outside the cabin for easy access. We toured the property, it was peaceful, calm and the views breathtaking. Lots of sitting options down by the river. We spent most of our time in the cabin, it was the perfect escape. If you want to get away for some R&R or spend some quality time as a family this is the place to go. We plan on coming back and booking the family cabin, bringing our two kids and our dog. I was more than satisfied with our stay at Baker Creek.

Located on the Bow Valley Parkway, we have passed this location many times and always wanted to stay there! Finally got the chance in March 2026 and it more than lived up to expectations. Staying in the 1 bedroom with loft / ladder, we had cabin 1. The cabin was spacious for 2 but could easily hold more, well equipped with cooking utensil, induction stove , toaster and kettle, pots and pans etc. The wood stove was incredible throwing off lots of heat and due to the location it was a quiet and restful nights sleep. There is no restaurant just snacks and breakfast wraps in the reception building however, Lake Louise is 10 minutes down the parkway and we took our own food. I can't tell you how cool it is to wake up in a cabin looking out to trees, fire pits and the frozen creek. Honestly, this was a place we did not want to leave. ! Activities, fire pits, ice rink, snow shoes, skates and fat bilkes available to hire. If you get the chance stay there.. especially in the winter if you want to take full advantage of that wood stove.

Great get away. Lodge was nice but limited in supplies. We ordered the wine and cheese, which basically was a bottle of wine and block of cheese in the mini fridge. They were unable to provide a knife or plate to enjoy the cheese. Also had an issue with pigeons.
