I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay at Klika! We spent 8 nights here while we were visiting for the Women’s World Hockey Championships! The location was absolutely wonderful! Easy walk to the arena, and to the square for shopping and dining! But you don’t need to leave the hotel for dinning, the restaurant onsite makes amazing food! The staff were very kind and helpful when we needed information! The continental breakfast was also great! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic stay in beautiful CB. Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Cleaning staff did excellent job preparing room and making it feel like home. Highly recommend Hotel Klika for anyone traveling to CB.

Great Weekend in Cesky Budejovice

The hotel is in a great location just a few short streets from the town square. The resturant downstairs is excellent and the staff are very friendly and speak very good English. Food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. The breakfast provided is is the usual, meats, cheese, breads etc. Bicycle rentals are about 400M away at the Cafe Lanna and there is a very nice Castle in Hluboka about an hour ride along the river from the hotel. My wife and I rode there after lunch and we were back by supper time. Second day we took the bus to Cesky Krumlov for the day, bus station is in top of the shopping centre across the street from the train station. We took a taxi from the train station for 200 CZK when we arrived but we walk when leaving, if you are in relatively good shape it's about a 15 min walk pulling luggage. Overall a very nice hotel in a great location we would definitely stay there again.

Pleasant Location

Our stay at this hotel was comfortable and the paid parking was accessible. We were able to order our beer/wine at the bar and take it to our room to relax and enjoy with our cheese and bread we brought with us. Staff at the front desk was very helpful.

The room was nice, very clean although small (but standard for Europe). For me alone there was plenty of room, I can see that multiple guests might feel crowded. The service was good and friendly. I had no problems. Breakfast was good, a standard European continental breakfast. The location was excellent, the hotel is very close to the main town square and close to bus routes for exploring other parts of the city. The hotel is along the canal/stream where there is also a park, and is a nice place for a walk or run.

Lovely hotel, overlooking river, close to square

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. We had 2 rooms on the second floor which were joined by a private landing/sitting area. There were views over the river. The breakfasts were good with a wide variety of meats, eggs, cheese, cereals, breads, jams, etc (although no hot cooked food).
The hotel was very close to the main square and we could walk to the square, Black tower, tourist information at the town hall in about 5 minutes.
The things we really enjoyed in Ceske Budejovice were cycling along the river to Hluboker castle, visiting the town square and having a meal, climbing the Black tower for the view, and of course visiting the Budweiser brewery.

Loved this place. friendly staff, good clean rooms and nice food. We were travelling on 2 motorbikes, and the staff not only allowed us to use the car park, they let us use the garage as well. Bikers, this is a great place to stay.

We booked this hotel with an open mind, and were pleasantly surprised by its character and the friendly nature of the staff. The room we had was different to say the least, part of the sleep area was in a loft type set-up...in an attempt to get the most out of the small room. The staff were very helpful, the meals at the hotel were excellent and the location was perfect.

Fine hotel in the old town

The hotel has a fine position in the old town and its own parking. Its easy to reach from the maim highway.Peaceful, yet near to all the happening in town. Clean, small and friendly. Nice dining room over the water.
In all, worth the money.

Well located for city centre

We spent two nights at the Klika during our recent trip. It is a small hotel very close to the historical centre of the city. The hotel has its own secure parking facilities across the bridge, Our room was immediately above reception overlooking the street, and we were slightly disturbed by late night passers-by on one of the nights we were there. The room was quite small, but adequate for a short stay. There was a good choice at breakfast each morning, and the breakfast room and restaurant are pleasantly located with a view onto the river. We did not have dinner at the hotel but there is quite a wide choice of restaurants at very reasonable prices within a five minute walk of the hotel. Biggest advantage of this hotel is its location.

great location, very simple hotel

The hotel has a great location, minutes from the centre, the breakfast was ok, but nothing special. The rooms are small (which doesn't bother me) and don't have much to offer (ekstra small bathroom, no closet with doors, no extra blankets, no proper lighting).
It's ok to stay here for a night, but as it is really a very simple hotel, it should be about 30% cheaper (especially when compared to hotels in other Czech tourist towns).

Great place to stay!

The location is great. Hotel Klika is about 2 blocks from the town's main square and sits on a canal. The room was large for Europe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone spoke great English. They also have secure parking (for free) across the road. The free breakfast was not huge but did offer a good variety of meats, cheeses and breads along with cereal and yogurt. I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Kilka.

Das Hotel in sehr guter Lage hat ein ansprechendes Restaurant, teilweise sehr kleine Zimmer. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer, aber ein winziges Bad, mit verbesserbarer Sauberkeit. Das Frühstuck war von mittlerer Qualität, aber reichlich. Das Personal war freundlich. Wir würden den Aufenthalt nicht wiederholen.

pracovnici hotelu byli velmi ochotní a vstřícní. Parkoviště u hotelu v této lokalitě je velmi výhodné snad jen bych měl připomínku ke kontrole aut - na recepci hlásit SPZ z důvodu kontroly.

Niewpełni zadowolony

Moja opinia o hotelu jest w dużej mierze zaniżona z powodu jednego małego problemu. Dokonałem rezerwacji pokoju na hotels.com, a po przyjeździe do hotelu o godzinie 20 okazało się że nie ma mojej rezerwacji i wszystkie pokoje (w tym mój) zostały już wynajęte. Zostałem postawiony przed widmem spania w samochodzie lub szukania wolnego miejsca w innym hotelu przy czym musiałbym mieć mega szczęście, gdyż okoliczne hotele również były zajęte. Po kilkunastu minutach negocjacji dostałem propozycję wynajęcia apartamentu za dodatkową opłatą. Choć różnica w cenie nie była zawrotna, lecz takie postępowanie co do zasady jest karygodne, bo to nie ja popełniłem błąd, żebym musiał ponosić dodatkowe konsekwencje. Godzinny okres od przyjazdu do Cesky Budejovice odnalezienie hotelu i otrzymanie pokoju dość mocno mnie zdenerwował i całkowicie zepsuto mi pobyt w tym mieście. Odnośnie dojazdu to numeracja na ulicy, gdzie jest położony hotel jest dość myląca, gdyż budynek o numerze 25 nie leży pomiędzy 26, a 24 lecz na samym końcu ulicy :). Odnośnie śniadania to ilość i urozmaicenie produktów była mocno uboga i nie było dań na ciepło. W porównaniu do innych hoteli w Czechach (Praha, Pilzno, Karlovy Vary) niestety było najsłabsze jeśli chodzi o ilość jedzenia i asortyment. Do plusów należy położenie hotelu nad rzeczką i w samym centrum.

Skønt beliggende hotel i den gamle bydel tæt på seværdigheder og friluftsbad.
Dejlig restaurant på hotellet med lækker mad og god betjening. Værelset var lidt slidt, men ellers ok.

All'apparenza dall'estetista esterna, sembrerebbe un albero di qualità,se non fosse per il personale che non effettua le pulizie quotidiane e o si presenta in stanza per il cambio asciugamani in orari inopportuni . Ci tengo a precisare che in una settimana di alloggio le lenzuola oltre a essere bucate, non sono mai state cambiate, purtroppo dato la mia esperienza non mi sentirei di consigliarlo a nessuno. ( stanza matrimoniale piccola senza armadi)

Good value for your money

Hotel Klika's location is the best, if you want to get around city. Short walking distance to everywhere. If you are travelling with pets, there is a really nice park just across the hotel. Breakfast was good and tasty. We enjoyed our stay!

Hotel sympathique, bien situé

L'hotel est dans le centre historique de la ville, avec un parking fermé ( 6 € par jour)
Une partie du personnel parle un peu anglais. l'accueil est très bon. Dans la région le français n'existe pas. Par Tom- Tom nous avons trouvé facilement l'hotel. Belles balades dans la ville et dans la région.
La chambre est petite, mais difficile de demander plus , vu le prix !

Die Lage ist recht günstig in der Altstadt gelegen. Unser Zimmer und das Bad war sehr klein, jedoch sauber. Bei offenem Fenster sehr laut in der Nacht. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstücksbuffett war o.K., jedoch der Kaffee schon fertig auf dem Tisch in Warmhaltekannen, schmeckte scheußlich! Der Parkplatz ist in einem umzäunten Gelände in der Nähe.

Godt til prisen

Hotellet ligger perfekt i forhold til byens centrum. Alt var i orden, dog er det klart kun et 3-stjerners hotel. Lille værelse med hårde senge. Gardiner, som ikke kunne lukke sollyset ude, så du vågner tidligt. Aktivitet på gangen kunne klart høres på værelserne. Morgenmaden er ikke prangende, men der var et rimeligt udvalg, som det kan forventes af et hotel i denne klasse - men heller ikke mere. Dette blev dog kompenseret af et utroligt hjælpsomt personale.
