This Hotel is wonderful In Ceske Budejovice. We made the right decision of stopping in and staying in Budejovice after visiting crowded Cesky Krumlov instead of overpriced hotels in hype of Krumlov. Budejovice is much calmer but bigger city with additional bonus, Budweiser Budvar brewery. Hotel is in excellent location, helpful and friendly staff, clean and roomy apartment and reasonable price with delicious breakfast, were all made us wish we could stay more than one night. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Spacious apartment (with a washing machine, fridge and a small kitchen!), super friendly staff ready to help you when you need. We arrived in the morning, stored our luggage, and we were helped to find the buses to go to Hluboká Castle nearby, by installing a certain app on the smartphone.
Thanks a million!

Just be aware --when you make your travel plans-- that the front desk is only open for check-in until 8pm (or so). You may have to make special arrangements if you arrive outside the check-in hours stated on the website.

Check in experience was good and I was explained how everything works. I had never stayed in such a type of property with a separate area with a locked gate and hallway with doors with windows to the room facing the hallway. The room itself was nice and rather spacious with lots of equipment like stove, microwave, fridge, and washing machine. However, I did not use any of this and just went to the local restaurs including the one attached to the hotel which had a nice vibe and good food and service. The hotel is very close to the main square and the Black Tower which makes it very walkable. The rest of the city was a bit odd as a visitor from Canada and staying 3 nights was probably too long but nevertheless it was interesting to visit a city where there is no souvenir store in sight unlike Prague & Cesky Krumlov which are very tourist focused. There was a nice large green space around 15 minutes walk West of the hotel with serene energy.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, if you speak English the staff easily accommodates, I believe their English is better than mine but no surprise there since I’m American. They do charge for any extras such as parking, breakfast, mini bar and if you leave the room dirty but other than that it’s a very big and nice hotel with a very kind staff

Fantastic stay!
There s an elevator which was not mentioned in the description while we were looking. The room was spacious with a full kitchenette. Your own washing machine which was a great surprise. Beautiful tall windows overlooking the quiet street.
Easy walking distance to town square with all the shops.
While in Europe we also visited Venice and Munich and Ceske Budejovice was by far, our favourite city and accommodations.

Noisy room 215 with thin windows

We stayed at room 215. There were some hair on the pillows and bed but the bathroom and kitchen are clean. Overall it is a spacious room. Room 215 is next to the road and the noise on the street is very loud and bothersome as the window is very thin. There were people and drunkards singing and shouting as they walked passed the hotel and we could hear it in all details. It happened especially on a Friday night from 11 pm all the way till 4 am which woke up us several times from our sleep. On usual days, there will also be loud noise from cars and people talking here and there. The receptionist did allow us to change to room 233 but when we went to inspect the room, the fabric sofa has lots of short hair all over. I feel that hotels should examine and inspect their property very closely for hygiene before renting to customers.

we stayed in an apartment on the 2nd floor in a building right next to the reception. The apartment was big enough for two people. We especially liked the bathtub but it took a while before hot water started running. Some utensils were missing in the kitchen but there was enough to prepare a simple meal. There was a TV set with some 200 channels but most of them were in German. We couldn’t figure out how to switch them to English and there was no TV guide. Noise was a major problem. People walking up and down the main staircase inside the building and screaming kids. Especially the kids were super annoying. While having breakfast, we had to sit in a room where there was no kids section. So again, lots of noise. The management should invest in room noise insulation or warn parents to attend to their kids to maintain a low noise level inside the building and during the breakfast time. Breakfast was overall OK but with very limited options for vegans.

Studio with full kitchen and bedroom loft, reachable by 15 step stairways.

Close to center of town.

Great breakfast buffet with many choices.

CONS:

Photo on reservation site (Orbitz/Expedia) showed terrace with view of town for this booking - we paid $109. (This was the selling point for us)! What we received was a terrace facing high walls on 3 sides, and a divider on the 4th side. Algae covered cement floor, and noisy AC units above. No view whatsoever :(

Unit had a claustrophobic, dark feeling, facing walls or other units across. No view of anything else.

No bathroom next to upstairs bedroom, requiring walking down 15 steps to get to toilet at night. Big inconvenience if you have to go more than once!

Noisy AC units from adjacent units humming on and off all night, making it very difficult to sleep, even with earplugs.

We talked to the receptionist after arrival to see if we could have a unit with a view terrace as expected, and were told that all units had been taken. We felt misslead by the deceptive listing and did not enjoy our stay.

Our stay met our expectations. A member of staff showed us to our apartment,explained how everything worked and provided a detailed guest pack including a discount voucher for the on site restaurant. Due to location we were able to walk everywhere including to numerous restaurants. Staff spoke English which helped greatly when any assistance was needed.

Apartment in good location for touring city center but you may not get what is listed in Hotels.com. Site shows air conditioning however only some rooms have air. Breakfast is not good. Restaurant has limited menu and food is okay. Towels changed after 3 days. Sheets changed after 5 days. If traveling by car better to stay outside city center as there is too much traffic around city center. Parking is not convenient.

I stayed a couple of nights 9/2015 at this apartment hotel in Ceske Budejovice, and the hotel was excellent. The location is near the city center and the Black tower is right down the street and MUST visit the tower. It is also walking distance from the train station to hotel about 15 minutes. The hotel restaurant and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The apartments turned into a hotel is fully furnished and spacious with full functional kitchen and washing machine. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast at the hotel restaurant was great.

Great stay at a great price

We booked a studio at €51/ night and were so lucky to be upgraded to an apartment which was modern, well equipped and spacious. And at this price, we would normally expect to have breakfast buffet with cold dishes only but there were also hot dishes like scramble eggs, sausages and potato pancakes and they were delicious! Staff were friendly and helpful, location was superb with parking nearby.
The only downside was the Wi-fi, the signal was a bit weak and unstable. The shower was also a bit small considering the size of the apartment. But all in all, it was the best stay of our trip and I would definitely recommend it to others.

This was a very nice hotel - clean, quiet, friendly people. The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a deep tub. We had a bit of a surprise with the 'washer/dryer'. We had to ask for instructions for the washer, and the receptionist gave us a copy, but for the wrong model. Fortunately, we were able to find the correct instructions on the internet. Then, we learned that the 'dryer' was a drying rack. Apart from that, everything was very nice, including the breakfast buffet the next day.

An unexpected Gem in a small Czech town.

We were delighted with the number and size of the rooms - a large studio with separate sitting and sleeping areas, excellent kitchen and dining table, large foyer with good storage space and separate WC and bathroom. We were lucky enough to visit between 1 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Monday, when free on street parking was available just by the hotel. At other times, I gather, they have \"offsite\" parking, which would have been a longer walk.

Lovely split-level (bedroom on upper level in the dormer area) apartment. Nicely appointed rooms, very comfortable and spacious. There's always something that makes a room not perfect, but this is an excellent place to stay, especially if you want to get away from hotel personnel and like to do things, like cooking, on your own. Good location, right around the corner from the main square and on the street with the Black Tower that gives the street its name.

Schöne, neue und saubere Wohnung, leider im 3. OG ohne Fahrstuhl.

Einziges Manko war das Aussengerät der Klimaanlage, dieses stand auf dem Balkon vorm Schlafzimmer, das leider nicht klimatisiert war. Dadurch war dies ziemlich warm und schlafen mit offenem Fenster nicht möglich, solange das andere Zimmer klimatisiert werden soll.

Der Check In war traumhaft, perfektes Englisch sehe sehr freundlich und unkompliziert hat uns direkt alles am Eibgang mit dem Code an der Tür gezeigt damit keine Fragen offen bleiben
Das Parkhaus ist 4 bis 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt die Einfahrt war problemlos, seitens der Rezeption hatte man unser Nummernschild eingegeben und die Schranke öffnete automatisch. Sehr viel Platz im Parkhaus alles problemlos.6 € je Tag.
Das Frühstück sollte man allerdings nicht dazubuchen ,Spiegeleier alle kalt ,wässriger O Saft , es wurde nichts aufgefüllt ,der Kuchen bestand aus hartem Teig, eine Pflaume pro Blech, es ist in der 1.Etage und es gibt kaum Tische man muss dann alles über die steile Treppe nach unten schleppen .Besser irgendwo frühstücken gehen, es gibt genug in der Umgebung.
Die Zimmer waren groß und sauber mit Kühlschrank und Küche es gibt keine barrierefreien Duschen nur in Verbindung mit Badewanne unsere Zimmer waren nur durch eine steile Treppe zu erreichen.

Tolles Appartmenthotel im Herzen von Budweis.

Ein tolles Appartmenthotel mitten in Budweis. Aufgeteilt auf 4 super renovierte Altstadtgebäude und ausgestattet mit einem ausreichend großen Frühstücksraum, der sich im 1. Stock eines Steak Restaurants befindet.

Unser Apartment war zweistöckig. Ideal für eine Familie mit Kindern, solange diese nicht gefährdet sind, die Treppe hinunter zu fallen. Baby-Gitterbett haben wir kostenlos und unproblematisch erhalten. Ebenso einen Hochstuhl.

Ausstattung absolut top. Alles neu, vom Geschirrspüler über den Kühlschrank und die weitere Küchenausstattung. Teller und Besteck war da. Ebenso Töpfe, Spülmittel und andere Basics.

Bad war sauber und insgesamt war es auch ordentlich. Gestört hat uns nur, dass offenbar recht oberflächlich gereinigt wird. Unter der Couch im Wohnzimmer war eine ca 5mm Staubschicht.

Frühstück war prima. Personal sehr freundlich.

Wir würden wiederkommen, auch weil die Fotos im Internet genau dem entsprechen, was man bekommt.

Úžasný pobyt ! Obsluha velice flexibilní . Hotel jsem potřeboval na poslední chvíli , objednáno po době možnosti ubytování a pani přijela a ubytovala ! Poslední záchrana a maximální spokojenost ! Doporučuji .

評判通り

評判通りで、設備やアメニティー、広さには何も問題ありませんでした。完璧でした。ただ、他の方もコメントしている通り、通り側は石畳を走る車の音が、最上階でもうるさかったです。はやり窓を開けなくてすむようエアコンがほしかったです。朝食は充実していました。場所は黒塔が目印になるのでわかりやすかったです。

A deux pas du centre. Appartement très spacieux sans climatisation obligé de laisser les fenêtres ouvertes un samedi soir de juillet sur une rue très passante (voitures à vive allure sur les pavés, piétons chantant et criant)

Prostorný a vybavený

Na hotelu/apartmánu jsem moc času nestrávil, jen přespal ale pokoj byl dost prostorný a stejně tak koupelna. Snídaně fajn. Parkování prostě jako v centru. Poměr cena/kvalita je dost v pohodě.
