Breakfast was okay, not much variety and I didn’t like the fact that the eggs were in the same pot with meats (I am vegetarian).

Coffee offered was pretty bad.

The shower temperature was faulty, constantly changing from hot to cold. Tried bringing this up with reception who sent a plumber who looked at it for 2 minutes and said he can’t do anything.

One night we were served food from room service which was not cooked properly- some of it was almost frozen still.

Every time we wanted to leave the hotel in our car we had to wait several minutes for reception to open the gate.

Ventilation fan in our room was not working properly.

Positives:
The room was amazing, from the balcony to the bed to the bathroom, everything was beautiful.

The staff was really friendly.

Easy parking space.

Swimming Pool was lovely.

ONLY 1 ROOM HAS LARGE PANORAMIC VIEW TERRACE

We were overall very happy with our stay. The location is fairly convenient, the view is amazing, the staff was excellent, the food was good, and we appreciated the free shuttle service to the bus stop and town square. Our major disappointment was our room. When we booked the room, I called to confirm that the terrace pictured was what I had booked and was told it was. However, when we arrived, we found that there is only one room with the very large terrace that has completely unobstructed views and it is on the 7th floor of the building. We were placed in a room on the 5th floor with a garden and terrace; however, the view was somewhat obstructed by a lower terrace that looks like may have been a pool in the past years but has been changed to a patio that guests are not permitted on. There were several other beautiful locations in Ravello, but we chose Villa Piedimonte specifically for the large terracotta tiled terrace with the panoramic view, so we were highly disappointed to be on the lowest floor that did not offer the view we had confirmed.

The staff spoke very little to no English at all. The pillows, blankets, sheets, towels , and floors were extremely dirty and heavily stained. The pipe system were extremely old! I wanted to leave the first night I stayed there. My personal towel was taken by the housekeeper! I never been to a hotel where the housekeeper touches your personal items.

Nice property with a stunning view. They have free and convenient parking. It’s a long walk to the Ravello town square but they offer a free shuttle service to get you there and back. Its stops at 9 pm so you either have to walk or take a taxi back if you have a late dinner.
The rooms are nice. Nothing extravagant, but the one we had was quite large.
The breakfast buffet was good with a nice variety of food. You can east on a terrace with an amazing view of the coastline. The swimming pool area offers the same amazing view and drinks / snack at reasonable prices. 8 euro for an Aperol spritz with snack 😄

We were in Ravello for a wedding and this was an ideal location. It was a short walk to the town where we could access all of the restaurants, shops and shuttles to nearby areas. The hotel also offered complimentary shuttle service to town if we did not want to walk. We enjoyed the food, service and property. Everyone was friendly and courteous, and the hotel was spotless. The pool and the wonderful view were also what sold us on this hotel when we were looking for a location. We were not disappointed! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Behind gates up high on the side of a hill, with amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea. Our room was enormous with a large veranda, part of it covered in case of rain and planted succulents around its perimeter.

Breakfast included a large variety of healthy and delicious choices, and cappuccinos made fresh!

Giuseppe chauffered us to town and back upon request each day, and was a delightful knowledge of all things Italian!

We slept soundly, the bed so comfortable!

The hotel is in an excellent location for Ravello with stunning views from most rooms and especially the breakfast room. The staff went out of the way to help us and we're exceptionally friendly. The hotel courtesy driver to and from Ravello was a really good facility, especially as it's a bit of a steep hill up into Ravello, but the shuttle service is convenient and accessible on request. All drivers were very friendly as were reception / breakfast staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. We have had a lovely stay, thank you.

We stayed at deluxe suite 701. The huge balcony view is truly breathtaking. The couch in the suite is a sofa bed, so when you sit on the sofa, the cushions kept sliding out. Not comfortable to sit!
The front desk or concierge service has lots of room to improve. We asked them to call a taxi to take us to Amalfi center in the morning. If they are experience/ professional, they should have informed us that coming back to Ravello in the afternoon is a headache, so maybe we should book a taxi in advance! That would make our trip much more pleasant！The villa might want to consider to run a charge share shuttle from Amalfi to the Villa for their guests.

They gave us a huge terrace with our Deluxe Suite with a breathtaking view, a bottle of champagne and pastries for our 40th wedding anniversary and provided outstanding service with great restaurant recommendations. The view from our room/balcony was magnificent! We had our delicious breakfast on our balcony every morning and never got tired of watching tge sun rise over the sea. We really appreciated the free shuttle up the hill to the town center (for those of you who are looking at Ravello on a map, you cannot appreciate the hills until you get there — walking back down the hill to the hotel was no problem, but the shuttle was important for going up the hill!). The staff were always very nice and helpful, and we loved the lemon trees by the front door! We will definitely be back!

Our stay at villa piedmonte was a great experience! We notified them ahead that its our honey moon and when we got there they upgraded our room to a suite with a beautiful view. They also sent a beautiful gesture to our room. The stafff are very nice, felt convenient to ask them for various recommendations, the virew from the breakfast and pool is breathtaking and our only regret is that we didn't spend more nights there!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in October this year. Absolutely gorgeous views of the Amalfi coast from the property. The breakfast and dining room has a balcony with spectacular views of the sea. We stayed in a deluxe suite with its own terrace with a gorgeous sea view - same view from the bedroom window. Nice courteous staff, decent breakfast with delicious hot beverages served to your table. We also had dinner at the hotel for 2 nights - we are vegetarians so asked for their veg lasagna - very delicious, one of the best we have had. Only area of improvement is better mosquito and insect management - so guests can enjoy the views from their room terraces and balconies.

In terms of Ravello, Villa Piedimonte is value for money. We had a deluxe room, which had a large balcony with table, chairs and sun loungers and the views were stunning. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and offered added luxuries including spa bath and pop-up television. Breakfast was continental-style and provided a good selection. The staff were very pleasant and always at hand to assist to your needs. The shuttle service to and from the main square was very handy, although the walk is only 10 minutes away.

Poor attention to customer. The attention isn't worse the price. With a room right at the corner of Ravelo event center, and having the GUCCI party till 1am, I asked to be asigned another room. After hour of wait, I'm still waiting for the new room ;-)! Also, don't expect an efficient internet... just impossible to conect to basic profesional tools and very poor willingness from the staff to help. I NEVER received my Expedia member discount/gift. Amazing views, but unpractical room set up. Poor attention to details, shutle never in time. Etc etc. Better options are available over the Amalfi cost for half the price.

A great stay in beautiful Ravello

Our stay at Villa Piedimonte was fantastic. The facility is clean and comfortable. Breakfast and room service were excellent. I had accidentally left my phone in Rome the morning that we arrived in Ravello. The staff was very helpful, making and translating phone calls for me. I was extremely grateful that they were willing to go above and beyond to help me retrieve my phone. (Thank you, Mark!!) The views from our room were beautiful, and the historic village of Ravello is an easy walk, or the hotel provides a shuttle. I highly recommend that you visit Villa Piedimonte!!

Property was in a great location, close to Ravello town square. Our room had beautiful views of Minori and Maiori with a lovely terrace. However it was on the bottom floor of the second villa, which was annoying to deal with due to our heavy luggage. Food quality was lacking (average at best) and they mentioned they “ran out” of the room service breakfast when we initially ordered but then they delivered it 30 minutes later. Air conditioning (cooling) does not work, the whole hotel is set to either heating or cooling but not both. Thus we had to use our own portable cooling fan. Beds were comfy, soft or firm pillows available, wifi was awful. Overall, a decent stay for the price and location but I wouldn’t come here again.

We loved our stay at this property. The view from our room was amazing. The location was perfect. The shuttle would drop us off at the city center and we would walk back. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful. Christian who was at the pool in the afternoon was very helpful in assisting us with a dining recommendation and also find a store so we could replace a lost cord needed for our cellphone. Breakfast in the morning was great too.

The shower is not easily accessible for older individuals. Getting in and out of the bath tub/shower was extremely difficult. Slipped twice hurting my knee.
Also use of cleaning materials is not eco friendly and especially for those with sensitivity to smells. The room had very strong smell of cleaner and we requested the floors to be washed with water to remove the smell.

Fantastic !

Just returned home from a weeks stay in this beautiful hotel.
Our room was great with a huge patio.
The staff were very helpful & friendly & even supply a shuttle car up the hill to the town. Roberto was super helpful & friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel & will hopefully return again for a beautiful relaxing stay at Villa Piedmonte

Beautiful views and wonderful staff. Breakfast was a nice selection everyday only company was it’s hard to find GPS sends you on a wild goose chase . Maybe a flag at the gate or a sandwich board outside during the day would be helpful

This hotel is very nice and the view is breathtaking!! The staff was all around very friendly and helpful and even though it’s not right in the centre of Ravello there is a free shuttle or it’s also a close walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hote! Thanks again!!

Really lovely hotel on the cliffside with amazing views. Breakfast was lovely and the hotel is in a great location with a 10 minute walk to the restaurants and shops in Ravello.
The receptionists were super helpful, printed off our tickets for Pompeii and we had complementary snacks and drinks on arrival which was a nice touch.

This is a really great hotel but we don't feel we could give 5 stars as there were some minor annoyances during our stay. We went to sit by the pool for a drink late afternoon and no one was tending the bar. We waited 10 minutes before going down to ask reception if the bar was open and was informed it was. Went back up to the pool, still no one on the bar so we went back to our room and ordered drinks to there instead.
The rooms are lovely and clean. We stayed in a deluxe sea view room - very nice, modern furniture but not enough closet space. Could do with some drawers.
The bedroom had a cool TV that came up out of the cupboard at the end of the bed but no signal and therefore not usable.
Free wifi but the signal wasn't great in our room.

As we were there for a few nights, these didn't feel like huge problems but had we been staying for a week or more, these would have felt frustrating - particularly the lack of storage.

We certainly enjoyed our stay and want to say a warm thank you to the staff.

Gorgeous views, lovely room, gracious hosts

This hotel is a bit of a challenge to get to by car but we made it. Once we arrived we were warmly greeted. The room was clean and modern and tastefully decorated. And the view is awesome! There was a beautiful orchid in the coffee table. Also I really commend the hotel in its eco friendly policies. No wasteful single use water bottles! The water in Italy is excellent. There is no place for that plastic trash. So bravo to the hotel.
