Do not recommend this hotel!
Worst customer service we received on our entire stay in Japan, they were rude and didn't take into consideration children.
We checked in at 8pm at night with 2 children into our room with a futon and no bedding supplied for futon. After asking for the bedding they requested an additional fee of $168. We didn't agree to pay the additional fees as we had already pre-booked, paid and checked in. They asked us to leave the hotel even while we were on the phone to Expedia. My family were upset so we decided to find alternate accommodation so they could sleep.
They refused to provide us a refund for the remaining nights, even though they asked us to leave and wouldn't provide us with the bedding.
Rooms are small, would not recommend as there are much nicer places within the area.
Still trying to get a refund.

The room was very small, the staff were not friendly at all! I would not recommend. Oh and they were missing some basic stuff. They only provide with tea/coffee on your first night after that you’re on your own.

The hotel is conveniently located closed to a bus stop. There is an Udon restaurant near by that you have to try!

Back to the hotel, I would not recommend

Wonderful, clean, with a kitchen and even a washer in the room. It was a very pleasant stay. Staff is very friendly. Enjoyed my stay! When you check in make sure the code for the door downstairs works.

Very clean, tidy, well appointed. good location, easy walk to train, buses at front door , or a stroll to the city for those who are more active. Also close to convenience stores. Sensor light in room entry was a nice touch and washing machine to do laundry was a pleasant surprise.

The worst place I've stayed at in Japan, or in general to be honest. The staff were rude and no information was provided about checking in earlier than 4pm, the air conditioning was broken in our room in the middle of summer and they forced us to abandon our plans of exploring Kyoto to stay and watch a repairman fix the air conditioning, and refused to move us to another room whilst it was unbearably hot.

They charge for using the products they give you in the bathroom/kitchen, and the washing machine provided seemed like a boon but in reality it destroyed our clothes despite putting it on the lowest temperature setting (it literally tore a whole in one of our shirts).

I don't recommend this place.

Great hotel for a family vacation

Hotel was perfect for us. A large room with place for 4 of us. Very fresh and new. Shower even had its own TV. Even had a free snack for breakfast. On map its walking distance to Nijo castle but bus stop right outside door. One direction takes you to golden temple area and other direction to old town. Overall it was a perfect hotel for our Kyoto adventure

Check in location is different than the actual property. They say that they will take you by car to the location but was not available so asked to wait one hour. Took a Taxi instead. Staff are useless as well. The property itself is nice and clean and spacious but the process takes away from that.

Clean, comfortable, quaint. It was just far from Gion and touristy area of Kyoto and we relied on buses for transport to tourist areas. Also there was no front desk staff for several hours mid-day and we were unable to check in when we arrived which was annoying. We left out luggage in the lobby.

It was a last minute booking.
The receptionists at the door, were very welcoming and helpful !
There were free umbrellas in the room, for use.
We stayed in a 3 person room. Two single beds and one double sofa bed. The double bed was a good surprise, but you could feel the metal bar of the contraption digging into your back!
The equipment provided was all very good, but more pots/pans could be provided!
The small coffee table should be replaced with a normal coffee table, if you are expecting guests to cook and eat somewhere.
Overall, reasonable price hotel, good communication, alright location, clean hotel.

This was by far the BEST place we stayed at during our stay in Japan (we used 5 different hotels during our entire stay of two weeks).

Initially we were concerned about the check in process, but they were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The room was much more than we expected--it included every convenience possible.

The location was so easy for us to navigate to and from for touring, shopping, etc.

快適空間

何度宿泊しても、いつも快適です。コンドミニアムと言ってもいいくらいの部屋は、快適で、ゆっくり過ごすことができます。駐車場だけが難点ですが、自家用車ではない旅行であれば問題ないと思います。繁華街からは離れていますが、それがいいですね。

staysakuraに何度か宿泊しています。長期滞在にとても便利な宿です。
毎回思うのですが、便器周りの床を掃除していないので、前の方の尿匂いが酷くて、部屋にある除菌スプレーとトイレットペーパーを使って、自分で掃除しています。
次回、宿泊の際は、トイレ周りを掃除してくれると嬉しいです。

部屋のコンセントの数が少なく、不便でした。
フロントに延長コード借りに行きましたが、1つしかなく借りることが出来なかったです。
それ以外は、とても快適に過ごすことが出来ました。

Super séjour, très confortable, kitchenette équipée, machine à laver, bain, douche, nettoyage tous les 3 jours, personnel agréable et anglophone. Livraison des bagages à notre arrivée depuis leur accueil proche de la gare de Kyoto, pour le départ cela est payant mais très pratique.

道路側だと…

道路側の2階の部屋でしたが、窓、カーテンを閉めていても車の騒音が聞こえてきて、寝づらかったです。

部屋の感じ

まだ新しく、綺麗な部屋でした。トイレバスが別で、こちらも綺麗です。スタッフの方の応対も丁寧で良かったです。
冷蔵庫、洗濯機、電子レンジ、IHコンロ、お皿、割り箸などもあり、お店で割り箸をもらい忘れたときに助かりました。また利用したいです。

とても清潔で綺麗で、お部屋にはキッチンがあり料理はしなくても水筒を洗うのに便利でした。洗濯機も洗剤もありその日のものを洗えてお風呂場で乾燥もできとても役立ちました。
また是非利用したいです。

エレペーターに番号が必要だったり安全面の確保がされていたこと、設備がきれいなことは良かったです。
お風呂がお湯と水ではなく温度で調節できて、パジャマがユニセックスでいいのでロングで上着のものだけでもあればありがたかったです。

フロントが１階にあるマンション形式の個室タイプのビルで、快適でした。エアコンも水周りも良かったです。
フロントの方は日本人ではありませんでしたが、丁寧に対応してくださり全く問題はありませんでした。
以上から評価は最高ですが、このホテルがもっと良くなるアドバイスとして、目の前がバス停ですので、各観光地や駅へいけるバスの番号や案内を作って各室かフロントなどに貼ってもらえれば、良いと思いました。（京都は、本当にバスがわかりにくいです。）

部屋はアパートみたいな感じで快適。ベッドも大きくてふかふか。キッチン、洗濯機装備で長期滞在にも便利。
ただ、最寄り駅がなくバスを使うのが不便なのと、場所がちょっと分かりづらいのが難。

gute Lage - nicht mitten im Trubel, aber Bus/ Bahn/ Supermarkt etc. quasi vor der Haustür. Es gibt ein \"Guest Welcome Center\" hinter der Kyoto Main Station. Es wäre nicht schlecht, wenn diese Information bei Buchung bzw. Auswahl angegeben würde.

サービスを省略しすぎ？

コスパよく、きれいな部屋に宿泊できました。洗い場もあるお風呂、独立したスペースの洗面台、洗濯機、ミニキッチン。子連れにはとてもありがたかったです。

しかし予約の際、22時までと書いてあったにもかかわらず予約後の施設からの連絡（チャット？）では21時でフロントは閉まるので、それ以降に到着の場合はチェックイン方法を指示するので連絡するように言われました。話が違うと思いつつチャットに返信しましたが、当日20:30になってもチェックインの指示が来ないまま。困って、ホテルの電話番号に電話もかけましたが、繋がったのは東京の本部のコールセンター。フロントがしまった後のチェックイン方法は東京の本部では把握しておらず、たらいまわし。大阪本部から電話させますと言っても全然電話が来ないまま、ホテルに到着してしまいました。
このホテルの電話番号にかけても、無人のフロントの電話が鳴るのみ。機転をきかせて、なんとか自力で入室できましたが、こちらが求められた通り、いやそれ以上に連絡を入れているのに対応が遅すぎます（結局電話か来たのは21:30頃でした）。
21時までにチェックインされる方には関係ない話かもしれませんがお気をつけください。

また、Hotels.com Rewardsの一泊無料特典を使っての宿泊でしたが、宿泊費まるまるカードで落とされてます。
Hotels.comに電話しても、北京のコールセンターに繋がって、あなたの予約詳細がパソコンで開けないので確認できないと。
せっかく施設はよいのに、色々後味悪いです。

施設、設備ともにとても綺麗で清潔感があり快適に過ごせました。しかも料金も格安です。

駅からは少しありますが、歩いて行ける距離です。

チェックインの際に宿泊費とは別に宿泊税200円／1名支払いがありました。

お風呂でテレビ見られます。

アメニティは必要十分でしたが、綿棒があったら完璧でした。

結論、費用対効果は抜群によいです。機会があれば是非また利用したいです。

値段を見て普通のホテルだろうと思ったので確認しなかった自分が悪いと思うしかない。ホテルズドットコムは自分のような人間には合わないんだろうな。
