While the decor and design felt quite dated, the hotel's maintenance was excellent, indicating a strong commitment to upkeep. We were pleasantly surprised by the staff's genuine efforts to communicate in English. Furthermore, since the buffet breakfast wasn't available during our stay, we were delighted by the traditional Japanese breakfast set, complemented by a semi-buffet style offering. The hotel is also walking distance to the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium 沖縄美ら海水族館 and short driving distance to Lawson, Starbucks and variety of food establishments.

I chose this hotel to be on the beach in northern Okinawa. The hotel is very dated. There is no coffee offered in the rooms or for guests in the lobby. Breakfast is ¥2200, the most I've seen in a hotel while visiting Japan. I did not get the breakfast, so I can't say how it was. The hotel is pretty remote which is to be expected but very close to the beach. There is not much dining close by so I would recommend a car or utilizing public transport

Convenient but need a uplift.

Convenient as it is next to the Churaumi Aquarium and a Lawson store. Room is run down and needs a face lift. Walls are thin and you can hear other guests walking along and talking. Noise can also be heard from the upper floor.

Our stay started by arriving and parking in the car park, no issues there or when checking in.
We had a larger room in the annex building with washer dryer and large tall ceilings almost a open plan apartment.
The quality of furnishings was high, the beds were comfy and came with a normal pillow and also weighted pillow which was a nice touch.
The laundry / twin sink (his and hers) area was of high quality and clean. two free sachets of washing machine detergent were supplied at no additional cost.
Kitchen came with microwave and induction hob, however no cutlery or chopsticks provided, no wok or pans supplied so no way of using the kitchenette which was disappointing, so we had to stick to lawson microwaveable meals which wasn't ideal as the restaurant only seemed to do breakfast and we didn't fancy the menu of walkable restaurants open around 8/9pm.
Despite the rain we did have a swim in the pool, it is shallow at a max depth of 1 meter but if doing lengths it should be fine for most.
Super easy and quick walk to the aquarium so that's a must if staying here.

Very convenient to the aquarium and the surrounding area. Staff was friendly and courteous. Room were adequate for a short stay, however the facilities on the grounds seemed dated or short staffed as areas were closed during what should be normal hotel hours.
Breakfast was good but you should not expect a western style breakfast. Restaurant was not open during any other hours other than breakfast during our stay.

It is very close to the Churaumi Aquarium.
However, the breakfast surely needs improvement. While there is a variety of food, the quality is not up to standard in some situations (as compared with the breakfast that we had in the other hotels that we stayed in Okinawa).

The property was beautiful and very walkable to to get to expo park and the aquarium. Probably cause not the right season but wish at least the pool would’ve been available or even the day beds outside our room. They didn’t have thier cushion on them. And the night we chose to eat at the hotel restaurant, it was closed only to students. Which was our dinner plans. But the front desk was very helpful in directing us to their free shutter bus to partnered hotel that had a variety of food courts. Was easy to get to and back with the provided free shuttle. Overal was a very nice place, views impeccable, and staff was great!

Okinawa was surprisingly cold on our visit and the place we booked had a broken heater and was freezing inside. I randomly found this hotel and booked it just for one night. We enjoyed it so much we cancelled our other place and booked the additional nights here. Highly recommend. Great location (just next door and walking distance) near the aquarium which was the reason for our visit.

First of all, we came during a covid peak so everything was closed including the aquarium and the Emerald beach. But we got a good deal on the room, which went well above our expectations!

We arrived early but were not allowed to check in until 3. We were worried that we wouldn't have enough time to enjoy the pool, but those worries subsided when they informed us that the pool is open until 10pm and we could still use it, even after we check out the next day.

The room was absolutely fantastic! We had a room on the ground floor and it had a nice big patio with a table and place to wash off outside. We had access to a beautifully manicured lawn and tropical garden walk as well as the pool right off the patio. You could do BBQ for a pretty large sum (16,500 for a family) but we just got bentos from a steak shop in the next town over and enjoyed out on the patio.
The pool turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. It is quite small and was very crowded with families and small children. Being that it was a pandemic, my children didn't want to chance it so they stayed inside and instead enjoyed the nice big TV from the comfort of the beds, which were indeed very comfortable! There was also table tennis and billiards available for 1,000 yen per 30 minutes. There is also a small gift shop and game corner. We didn't do breakfast there, but it looked like there was a nice dining area. It was a nice jumping off point to enjoy the rest of the island the next day.

The pool was falling apart and not kept clean. The rooms had bugs constantly. Mold was present throughout the entire bathroom. Our first room smelled and the second one was not cleaned. The curtains had mold spots in the fabric.

I very HIGHLY DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Paid $600 for 2 nights. What did I get? Glad you asked. The receptionist stated that I had reserved a \"luxury room\". She called over a gentlemen who told us we had to ride with him in a golf cart to our room because it was not in the main hotel. Really? Took us to an annex type building. 1st floor room and no view. Basically, a box with 4 walls. The wall with the sliding doors looks out at a concrete deco block wall. It you look close through the deco block, you can see the side of the main hotel and a bunch of cars in parking lot. Walk into room and there is a dead creature on the floor being devoured by ants. Remove creature to eliminate ants...not. The room is covered in ants. On the table is a note that states welcome to northern Okinawa. Get used to the insects. Go to bathroom..ants galore, on floor, in shower, climbing over the sink. 2nd day, the didn't even replace empty toilet paper. 2nd night, I go to adjust my pillow and a cockroach runs out of my pillow. I've been scratching ant bites all day. Website pictures are deceiving. Folks, nothing good to comment on here. I will NEVER stay here again. As a matter of fact, I believe HOTELS.com has responsibility here also. They made money from this transaction. I am certainly not done with this...I have never experienced a hotel this bad.

Pros and Cons:
1. Room size was great. Booked the room with 2 king size beds in the Ciel Terrace Annex. It could accommodate up to 7 pax with 2 sofa beds and 1 day bed. Very comfortable and spacious for party of 3.
2. Small pantry area with microwave, fridge, kettle and stove - but no cutlery, utensils, pots, detergent, etc. Bring your own. However it served us well enough.
3. Spacious bathroom with washer-dryer which is really convenient. Separate toilet.
4. Quiet but only an oblique view of ocean so if you are looking for a view, the main building might be a better option.
5. Cleaning was not really up to expectation. We were in the room, on the first day and observed the cleaner mopping the floor. She really didn't do a good job. On the days when we not in the room, so they had time, the room didn't feel clean after they done.
6. Breakfast was ok with limited variety. The restaurant dinner was rather nice. Service was good. The sushi across the street offers good dinner too. Lawson is just next door. Convenient.
7. Location is really convenient for the aquarium and ocean expo park.
8. Buggy service for luggage. Good.

Overall, a good place for a relaxing break and for visiting the aquarium (which seems to be the main attraction).

We chose this hotel because it was right next to the Aquarium and it is close to the Emerald Beach. I would not choose this hotel again because you cannot buy take-away from the restaurant. Also the staff insisted to look inside our room even after I had explained twice we need one more pillow (the ones were with beads inside and were hard and too low for my husband).
Glad there is one restaurant across the hotel and a Lawson nearby.

While the staff were really accommodating by upgrading us to a cleaner bigger room in the Ciel Terrace, the first room given to us just above the reeption really was an eye sore as in the carpet has stains all over and I cannot figure out how a 3 to 4 star hotel should have stained carpet being used?? The staff was really apologetic and i think it is really the management who should see to it that all their rooms have clean carpets and flooring and if need be, they have to change the carpet or send professional cleaners to clean up the stains. All esle here has been really good - the breakfast spread was excellent; the location just next to the Churaumi aquarium is excellent! There is a local folk music restaurant recommended that serves fabulous authentic Okinawan food with great Okinawan singing entertainment by the staff of this restaurant. And if you book through the reception, the restaurant actually provide transport free of charge - worth trying it out that my friend and i went there for two nights!

Great for premier level if you can handle stairs

We stayed two nights. The first night was in the premier suite and the second night was in a regular room. The premier suite was amazing! Our only concerns the first night were a disappointment in a lack of wheel chair accessible rooms and an overly priced dinner. However, the second night was a very different experience. The room was gross. There were black spots all over the carpet and the exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn’t working.

施設は老朽化していますが、部屋も館内も広々としています。顧客対応はホテルというより民宿にお邪魔したような感覚で、緊急の対応は難しいかなと心許なく感じたりもしました。近くに食事できるところが少ないので、無料のシャトルバスで近くのモールまで行きました、小さいですが新しい飲食がフードコートのようにあり、食事だけするのには便利でした。

朝食のメニューが最高でした。色々な方の好みに対応できると思います。私はマグロ丼がとても美味しかったです。子供たちは焼き立てのクロワッサンや、パンケーキを喜んで食べていました。ハチミツもとても美味しかったです。
スタッフの方たちの対応もかなり親切で優しかったのが印象的でした。
多少の時代を感じる施設でしたが、お部屋は清潔に保たれとても綺麗で広々していたので良かったです。

海洋博公園を楽しむ際は是非ここで！徒歩数分なので夜までたっぷり楽しめます。周辺に夕食できるレストランが僅少なのでホテルで食事をつけるのもいいかもしれません(自分は熱帯ドリームセンター寄りにあるイタリアンのお店ラディッシュさん(美味しい！)とホテルの目の前のちぬまん(国際通りなどにもあるチェーン店居酒屋)で食べました)。コンビニはすぐ近くにローソンがあります。ファミマが好きなのですが、ファミマだと徒歩圏内になかったです。あと、19時過ぎると海洋博公園の照明が落ちて道路沿いの街灯もないので外食の際徒歩の場合は夜はスマホの明かりを頼りにホテルに戻ります…。

フロントでアイロンを借りられました。ユニットバスは広さが十分にあります。館内着がワッフル素材のパジャマで着心地が最高でした！見た目より使い心地を優先する姿勢に好感度大です。パリッとした館内着はたたんである状態では綺麗だけど実際するとパリパリしていて落ち着かない…。洗面台横のドライヤーの入ってる入れ物はアイロンとアメニティの間に仕切りがあるとストレスフリーだなと思いました。

古いホテルなのか、なんとホテル内にはエレベーターがありません！3階建てなので3階でも移動は辛くはないですが中学校以来のエレベーターなし施設にびっくりしました。卓球ルームがあるので相当古いホテルなのだと思います。もしかして海洋博の時にできたホテル…？！(50年前)因みに卓球ルームは夜めちゃくちゃ賑わっていました。オーシャンビューの部屋は伊江島が正面に見えて、島の夜景が綺麗です。

フロントの外国人スタッフも日本語が堪能で対人サービスもとても良かったです。また海洋博公園を訪れる際には利用したいと思います。

別館に宿泊しましたが、スリッパがもう少し履き心地の良いものにしてほしい。部屋が老朽化してるのはどうかと思う。広い部屋にしたのに、何か良い部屋に泊まれた気持ちになれない。マンタのシールも壁から浮いてたり残念でした。駐車場の片隅に壊れたカートが放置してあったり、本館の施設も修学旅行で使えない

フロントスタッフが外国の方で説明が100%でなかった。部屋は清潔にされていた。朝食は出汁の味がイマイチだった。美ら海水族館に行くのには非常に便利で、チェックアウト後も荷物を預かってくれるので助かった。
那覇空港までのバスがホテル前からあり便利だった。

卓球施設を利用しましまが室内が熱中症になる程暑くてびっくりしました。冷房を勝手に付けさせていただきましたが遊んでいる間は全く冷えず…汗だくになる始末。そこは残念でした。

部屋にゴキブリが出たのがショックでした。窓を一回開けたときに入ってきたのかなと思いましたが、ビックリです。
美ら海に歩いて行けるのは便利でした。

美ら海水族館にとても近かったし景色もキレイでした。
部屋がフロントから遠かったのと、エレベーターがないので大きいスーツケースを運ぶのが大変でした。
朝ごはんビュッフェは沖縄のものも多く、美味しかったですが6時や6時半からだとありがたいです。

Hotel ok, muito bem localizado, perto do aquário e da melhor praia da ilha, porém funcionários c má vontade, café da manhã horrível, só pensam nos asiáticos! Quarto ok, fiquei na parte dos quartos velhos, talvez vale se for nos quartos novos

Tattoo friendly hotel

We had a room in the Annex for 6pax. Nice and clean room. Helpful and nice staff. Good breakfast. No problem with visible tattoes in the hotel, in the pool or at Emerald Beach. Would stay here again.

思っていたよりも古さが少し気になりました。飲食店が周辺にあまりなく、あっても単価が少し高く感じ、滞在中の食費がけっこうかかりました。
しかし、お部屋の広さや設備はとても快適で子供達と4人で5泊するには完璧でした！スタッフの方々もとても親切です！！また来年も泊まりに来たいと思いました。

美ら海水族館、エメラルドビーチ、ふくぎ並木に近く大変便利です。窓からの景色が美しかったです。また、朝の食事も大変美味しく、沖縄料理が他のホテルとは少し違うもので嬉しかったです。プーさんの自動パンケーキ機があったり、プレイルームがあったり、子ども連れにもいい感じです。エアコンの音が少しうるさかったのだけ残念でした。
