Our room was very spacious, and needless to say, the view from the room was spectacular. There is no outdoor onsen, but you can go outside to the terrace and cool down directly from the public bath. Breakfast wasn't super fancy, but typical Japanese breakfast buffet, and everything tasted good. There is an Izakaya super close to the hotel, which was very cheap with generous portion.

The two East Indians staff were very rude towards me and my partner. They seemed to change their attitude towards us when they seen my partner having a tattoo on his hand. There was a few papers in our rooms saying we can get room service but when we asked they told us no, They weren’t helpful at all. The room was not the best, the water pressure was terrible. But besides that the view is beautiful and the other staff were very friendly and welcoming towards us. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all though

Breakfast was not good. Every day the same and very little choices and runs out quickly.

Check-In was good.

Some staff couldn’t speak English at all and doesn’t seems to know around. Asking for lunch recommendation is simply “no” or “7-eleven”.

A bit dusappointed that becsuse we didn't go with the dinner package tgst we could not eat in the hotel except to order room service. There are a lot of other restaurants within driving distance though. I highly revommend '38 Kawaguchiko', a quaint Italian place owned by a sweet coipke with outstanding food.
In pics, it looks like there is an outside hot tub but there is not.
I asked a man for an extra pillow one evening ( the heavier man) and he said there were none. I said \"really?\", he replied \"yes, really\". It was clear to me that he just didn't want to bother. The next day, across the hall from our room there was a housekeeping room with extra pillows which a lovely male housekeeper had no issue with govong me.
All that being said, the view of Mt Fuji from our room was outstanding.

We loved our stay at The Gran Resort Princess Fujikawaguchiko. We arrived late at night and they were very helpful with check-in and once we realized I had left a cellphone behind in the taxi they were very quick to help us find it and contact the taxi company. They even waited outside (insisted even) to get my phone, after they saw me waiting for the taxi driver to return. The beds were comfortable and we had an incredible view of the mountain from our window, so beautiful in the morning and an affordable stay at that so we were incredibly grateful for that. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast had both continental and traditional options (e.g., miso soup, milk pudding, tabletop grill to grill fish, fruits, etc.)

Property for the night was what we needed! Hotel has outstanding views of Mt Fuji! We didn't use any amenities onsite so can't speak to those. The gentleman at the front counter was absolutely fantastic when we first came in. So friendly and helpful. When we came back to check in, the 2 at the desk were friendly but definitely not as friendly as the older gentleman earlier in the day!

Spacious room with full Mt Fuji View is wonderful. Facilities are clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. But the location is quite far away from the station. Transportation only limited to shuttles and taxis. Shuttles provided only with reservations in advance. No restaurants and shopping stores around. The breakfast just so so, mainly Japanese breakfast with a little choices of breads.

Absolutely disappointing! The pictures are not at all accurate to the hotel's actual condition. Everything is very worn out, beds are terrible, the hotel is very old... not a pleasant stay, we even checked out after one night to move to a different hotel, and the penalty they charged was over what was stated in the cancellation policy, but as they did not have English speaking staff, it was impossible to argue.
Also, the area is not nice at all, there are very limited food options around, and the hotel breakfast was very bad.

While the property was ok and the view of Mt Fuji was amazing, the experience was very negative overall. My wife and I felt immediately unwelcome by the staff and guests alike as foreigners and it continued throughout the stay. Japan can be a bit difficult as a visible tourist but this location and the surrounding area was different in how outwardly unaccepting they were. After multiple occurrences, we decided to pack up our things and left early. The sunken costs were not worth our time wasted.

Mount Fuji view and the onsen was the best only, the room is big but i reserved for 2 people so insted getting one big bed i got 3 beds, the staff are not welcoming except the old gentlmen which he was the shuttle bus driver, the resturant nedded a reservation and when i arrivws to the hotwl and wanted to eat thwy said it need reservation and we cant allow you, the directed me to go out side which there are not enough choices and resturant, the rooms are old. I needed to pay 150 yen for the onsen. So i am not recommending this place to anyone or even go there again.

This hotel is very rigid, we arrived at 3:30pm and they said the check in only starts at 4 pm even the room was already ready. We Politely checked again at 3:55 and again they said that you need to wait until 4 pm!!!

They even charged¥550 per luggage stored even for hotel guests. We checked out at 7:15am and told them we would pick up the luggages at about 12 noon the next day. To our surprise, they charged us twice that amount because they said that it’s over 24 hours. We couldn’t believe it and turned it down!

The view of Mt.Fuji from my room could not be beat—it was perfect. I loved the onsen as well. I would say the only drawback was that it is quite a walk from the train station—about 1/2 hr. So not ideal if you have luggage. Taxis were hard to come by for us. We could not get a taxi to take us to the train station at 8am.

Great location to stay. You can literally view Mt. Fuji from your bed, no need to even step outside. Friendly staffs are eager to help. Fantastic breakfast, make sure to add that in your room booking. There are couple of restaurants within 10-15 minutes walking distances.

Fantastic view!

The person at the desk on arrival (pre check in) was not friendly or helpful and made us feel unwelcome even when using our japanese speaking skills (minimal) or google translate, he just didnt seem to want to interact with us. We left our bags where instructed so that we could go out for the day and were surprised that they were left in the public area where anyone could have taken them. Thankfully they were still there on our return and friendlier staff were working the desk when we checked in. The room was a great size with a perfect view of Mt Fuji. Overall it was a great place to stay.

We had the fuji view room and it was absolutely stunning. We came in at night and didn’t see Mt Fuji coming in, but we woke up to a perfectly clear day with Fuji in sight. It was awe inspiring and majestic. They provided comfortable kimonos/pajamas to walk around in. There’s a nice viewing area on first floor with indoor and outdoor seating in view of Fuji - even with a set of binoculars to look at the mountain. Onsen in hotel was also had views of mountain. Staff was very helpful with luggage transport and they have shuttle for station but not many time options or capacity to utilize it so reserve spots early. Only cons were that the rooms have the door connecting other rooms so there is less privacy and you can hear people in the other room. We also ordered the massages and the ladies came up to the room for the massage but it wasn't a good massage. For the price of the room and value, it was amazing. It’s far from a lot of restaurants and the station but the 7/11 around the corner was more than enough for us.

Location is bit away from the main train and bus station and hence either you walk for 20 mins ti the main bus stop or taxi it down.

Taxi’s can be expensive as compared to public transport - appx 2500yen

All rooms come with a mt Fuji view al.. the weather gods were not kind to us and hence could nit get its magnificent sight…. Had to do with the mt fuji shaped cookies that was in the room.

Breakfast is quite an experience . It’s all Japanese barbecue that you cook on the table. The western part of the breakfast is the scrambled egg only and croissant. The hotel should increase the selection for tourists- just a suggestion.

Inconvenient location, near impossible to contact

Very difficult to contact this hotel in terms of finding out when there shuttle bus operates despite multiple messages, emails and phone calls. As it turns out, only runs shuttles from 3PM-5:30PM, otherwise you need to book a taxi from the station to get to this hotel which is quite far away.

Check-in is also quite late at 4PM and the receptionist was quite abrupt. Instead of greeting us, the first thing she said was “Check in at 4PM” despite the fact all we wanted to do was drop off luggage.

In addition, a pair of pants was left behind in the room and it has been near impossible to contact the hotel to check if it is their lost and found.

A nice view of Mr Fuji, and a nice onsen. But overall would not stay again

The view of Mt. Fuji is FANTASTIC. From the rooms, from the onsen, from the restaurant, from everywhere. Two negatives: the distance from the station (1500 yen taxi), and the furnishings, while fine, could use an upgrade. Otherwise it was great. Food at restaurant, friendly staff, spacious room. It was an enjoyable stay.

Room was huge can open 3 luggage’s. Big window with full view of Mt Fuji. Toilet was big and brightly lit. However room only has heater so it was stuffy, need open window to let in cool air. Breakfast is Japanese style, limited choice. They provide a grill to cook own meat and fish. It wasn’t nice. Location is not accessible you will need a car to reach hotel.

Staff were great. I got slip disc which happen suddenly, they help search for hospital nearby and gave us the address. We needed to change return location of our rental car to airport branch, hotel staff help us to call Nippon and explain my medical condition. We had language barrier so this was a great help.

The hotel has a great view of Mt. Fuji. It is convenient to sightseeing around Lake Fujikawa.

We had one unusual situation occur regarding the cleaning of our room during our stay. When we returned to our room after a day of sightseeing, we discovered the room was half cleaned and left unfinished. When we brought this matter up to the front desk they suggested we move to another room. We had to move on our own.

Two further complaints: (1) the breakfast was not very good, and (2) the shower was smaller than ones I've experienced on cruise ships.

Overall I do not feel satisfied with our stay. The hotel is overpriced.

Property is in a very quiet part of town with beautiful views of Fuji! It was a bit of a walk or drive to downtown where more restaurants were, but we liked the minimal tourists around the area. Our room was clean, quite large, and the staff was very helpful. Our only complaint was that the walls are VERY thin. We could hear everything in the room next to us, including zippers on luggage being unzipped. Unfortunately, our neighbors were quite loud which resulted in a very difficult time sleeping. The staff was nice and asked the neighbors to quiet down during sleeping hours, but a lot of the issue came from the thin walls. Overall, a good stay and worth the money.

Hôtel avec une vue splendide face au mont Fuji.
Pour nous etres baladés dans Fujikawaguchiko, nous pensons que cet hôtel fait partie de ceux ayant la meilleure vue.

Les chambres sont TRÈS spacieuses (chambre réservée avec 3 lits double car c’était la moins chère), et très bien entretenues.

L’hôtel n’est pas dernier cri comme ce qu’on peut trouver à Tokyo mais cela ne dérange en rien.

Il est dans un coin très tranquille, mais pas tres facile d’accès à pied (cela ne nous a pas dérangé mais il faut le prévoir).

Nous n’avons pas pu tester les bains car nous sommes tatoués mais cela avait l’air très bien .

It is a great hotel with Mt. Fuji view, breakfast buffet is also fantastic! There is pick up service from station as well. Public hot spring also great! Mr 宫城 is very nice and friendly to show us these sights around Fujikawaguchiko area.

NASTY FALL AT THE CORNER OF HOTEL DRIVEWAY!

we checked in just before 8pm,by then the only restaurant in the hotel was closing. so we had to go outside to get dinner. the hotel front office staff gave us directions to the nearby convenience store to buy food. she didnt lend us any big torchlights nor warn us that there were no streetlamps outside. my family of 3 adults were about to turn left to the main road(using my handphone torchlight to guide us),when my wife tripped over some kerb near the hotel driveway(in total darkness)and fell face down on the road. she got a deep cut on her left eyebrow,cut between her eyes,abrasions and bruises on her left knee,also her spectacles were dented n bent due to the impact! she was bleeding as we went back into the hotel lobby. we asked for some first aid from the same female staff who gave us directions. she gave us antiseptic lotion n box of tissues to stop the bleeding for that moment. since the cut was deep,we had to send my wife to the nearest hospital to get it stitched up. the female hotel staff booked a taxi for us to Yamanashi Hospital. the cut was stitched up n CT scan done. we returned to the hotel by taxi,about 1130pm. by then there's no more staff on duty.
the next day, we had to scale back some planned activities because of my wife's fall. this accident could have been avoided if the hotel driveway had some lights on and the hotel staff lent us some torchlights before we went out. after my wife's fall,none of the staff asked about her condition! lack of compassion!

While the resort is a bit on the older side, and it is a bit away from the center of town. The view that you get to Fuji is just fantastic, there is nothing better than having sunrise/ sunsets from your room where you can wait for the best conditions.

夕食は寿司5貫に引き続きすき焼き、天ぷら、20分くらいおくれてご飯味噌汁でしたが、ムリがあるようなメニューでした。ボリュームあり、美味しかったですが。
　外国人スタッフさんが不慣れではあったが一生懸命動いてました。グラス割れているのを気づかず持ってきたりもありましたが。
　天候に恵まれ富士山を1時間以上眺めることが出来て良かったです。

Literal la vista es hermosa directamente al Monte Juji, pero el check in lo hacen a las 4 de la tarde y el check out a las 10 de la mañana.
Creo que podrían mejorar sus tiempos de entrada y salida.

La atención siempre fue muy buena y cordial.

住宅地に隣接しているが、部屋も広く、眺望も良い。朝付きにしたが、夕食場所は、近くにあるので、問題無し
