This is a beautiful place to stay if you are visiting Candolim. Convenient location and friendly staff with quick service. Only drawback was all the buildings don't have elevators. Otherwise all well and they deserve a 5 star rating.

Staff support extremely disappointing and non cooperative. Manager Roshan and assistant manager Sayan being the worst, and least helpful. They put the blame of their mistakes on a new joinee who was extremely helpful and apologetic. The manager constantly kept contradicting himself for being unable to provide the Suite we had booked because they over booked the property! We got a room with a view of a property back wall and rubbish in the backyard, no balcony, despite booking a resort/pool view Suite.

Our experience at the hotel was extremely disappointing, particularly with regard to both check-in and check-out procedures. Upon arrival, we requested an early check-in, but were made to wait for over two hours. Despite the agreed check-in time, our room was not ready, and when it was eventually provided, the floors were wet and the bathrooms had an unpleasant odor.

Moreover, the behavior of the hotel staff, specifically the manager, Mr. Subodhip, was unprofessional and uncalled for. During check-out, we had clearly communicated our departure time to the team. However, Mr. Subodhip repeatedly called every five minutes, using harsh and inappropriate language. He wrongly assumed we had not checked out, even though we had vacated the room and handed over the keys to his staff. It was evident that there was a breakdown in communication between him and his subordinates.

His poor management and lack of professionalism created a frustrating and unpleasant experience for us.

We recently stayed at your property and noticed that the housekeeping standards have room for improvement. Upon check-in, there were issues with the cleanliness of the room, which was disappointing. Additionally, the room itself could benefit from better maintenance to enhance the overall guest experience.

On a positive note, I want to commend Myra, Sandeep, Ankita, Debrata, and the head chef for their exceptional hospitality. Their efforts made the stay more pleasant, and their professionalism stood out.

However, I encountered a concerning issue with the pool attendant/cleaner. I found his behavior towards children to be rude, particularly assuming that all children spoke Hindi. While children do tend to splash a little, his reactions seemed unnecessarily harsh. Furthermore, I overheard him gossiping with other guests in a manner that came across as demeaning towards those using the pool. This is not reflective of the welcoming and professional hospitality standards I expect.

I strongly suggest that the pool staff, particularly this individual, receive mentoring and training on hospitality and guest interaction. A more understanding and respectful approach would greatly enhance the experience for families and children.

Thank you for taking this feedback into consideration. I hope to see improvements during my next visit.

We recently spent two wonderful days at this charming property in Candolim, Goa.
The staff's warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home. The property's upkeep was impressive - spotless rooms, well-manicured gardens, and a sparkling pool (with a separate kiddie pool!) that was a delight to relax by.
The breakfast spread was a delicious surprise, offering a thoughtful mix of Indian and continental options. I was also impressed by the convenient valet parking and the bar's extended hours. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff's dedication to ensuring our comfort. They went above and beyond to help with any request. Kudos to the entire team for maintaining such high standards!
This property is a gem, perfect for a quick weekend getaway. We can't wait to return!

The hotel is good for Goa but not amazing. Breakfast is chaotic with the room being too small. The room wall was a bit dirty as well which is not what you would expect. The mattress was amazing though as was the shower. Outside pool area is also lovely . We were only there for one night and the room had a horrible view to the back of the hotel and was on the second floor with no lift.

Overall bad experience.
1. I booked rooms with condition of pay at hotel. Hotel staff called 2 days before and asked for part payment to confirm the booking.
2. 2 rooms Premium and Standard -Standard rooms are on top floor and that building doesn't have lift.
3. We upgraded Premium room to delux room because room shape was not good. Upgrade charges were not fixed.
4. Location is good.
5. Food was ok.
6. Staff was good and cooperative and they helped a lot from there side.
7. Many issues in delux room - Phone was not working, Geyser issue etc..

The room are good wish they were big enough for the price we paid, buffet was decent and the valet parking is nice, only suggestion I would say is change the check out time till 12 PM at least like most hotels do 2 PM check in and 11 PM check out is bit disappointing.Pool should have been cleaned, were able to find the dead mosquitoes and flies..

The special thing about the property is it’s greenery which gives fresh look to it and each and every aspects are being taken care of.
Swimming pool and dine-in areas are clean and well maintained, also the staffs looking after these amenities are doing their duties religiously.
Housekeeping service was prompt and nicely done.
Front office staffs need to be more active and customer friendly.

A very good 3 star providing comfortable accommoda

We were pleasantly surprised by the Park Inn. Having travelled a lot of India it is a very nice 3 Star.
On arrival we were greeted and our luggage taken from the car, this was taken to our room. Thank goodness as we were on the 3rd floor and there are no lifts.
Room is spacious, a small sofa area, mini bar, reasonable sized wardrobe that contained slippers, no robes. The bed was large and we always had a great sleep. Bathroom had a walk in shower cubicle, no bath, toilet and sink. We were never without water.
A small balcony proved 2 chairs and a table.

Pool area was small and the sun loungers are very close together.

Service at the pool and bar was attentive and food quite good, we only ate a light lunch there one day.
We much prefer the beach in Goa.

Breakfast provided our only disappointment. The restaurant is quite cramped for the size of hotel. Selection was reasonable, Western and Indian options. The first 2 mornings, we ordered omelettes, only 1 ever arrived. This was a respected incident so we chose to take breakfast on the beach. he restaurant also had air conditioning vent over the tables, so you food, if it arrived, got quite cold quickly.
Would we return? Yes, we’d just avoid the restaurant.

Great Place - Amenities can be improved further

Location : Close to the Candolim Beach so that's a plus. The entrance to the hotel is on a small lane so that's not too impressive.

Rooms: We booked 3 rooms for a family of 7 and a common trend across all 3 was the electronic door locks. Everytime we entered our rooms atleast one or more locks did not work as intended and we had to ask security to help us get into our rooms. Wifi did not function on all 4 days that we stayed here. Also one room had a TV whose remote was dead.

Breakfast : 5 stars for the breakfast. There was nothing missing from the menu and had something for everyone (kids, adults, senior citizens). Quality of food was also on par with something i'd expect from a Radisson hotel

Service: The service staff was very prompt and did their best to try and help us. The hotel management needs to take a note of customer complaints and fix them (eg: door lock) as that's something the staff can't manage on their own.

Well managed hotel giving excellent service. Rooms & their service was as good as can be expected. Breakfast very good but let down by the failure of the only toaster and coffee machine regularly - maybe there should be some back-up facility. Inadequate number of pool side sunbeds but space is of a premium. Could be more accommodating when customers who have to vacate their rooms by non but are not due to go to the airport until late at night - no room set aside for travellers to freshen up after being out all day. Must be one of the best resorts in North Goa for the price.

This is not really a 4 star hotel. Rooms are average and swimming pool is quite small. There were constant problems with the water in the shower. It would either be very hot or very cold. There was a leak in the bathroom which did not get fixed during our 4 night stay. Choice of food for breakfast was good.

The deluxe rooms overlooking the pool were big and spacious however not enough cupboard space and also had a real problem with the air con which just kept blowing out cold air despite setting temperature. We had to change from our original room as air con caused so much condensation on the floor and was constantly damp. The staff on reception tried to resolve but with no result The location of hotel is at the bottom of a quiet lane with no sufficient lighting at night. However the food during our stay and the staff were really helpful and polite and never too much trouble

Nice hotel, good central location

A lovely first trip to India we would go back to this hotel again. Food was good, although a lot of Indian choices at breakfast (which is what you would expect) but also bacon, eggs etc. Rooms were clean and spacious. They could do with a few more sun beds around the pool. Staff all very polite and helpful.

Good position but the place is ruined by drunk Russians, mainly young girls who seemed oblivious to anyone else trying to sleep. We had to complain on numerous occasions as the sound-proofing in the bedrooms is very poor. The balcony was a joke, tiny with an air-conditioning unit blasting you with noisy hot air non-stop. Breakfast excellent and service generally very good. Wifi was very hit and miss and we had an average of 6 power-cuts a day.

The nicest hotel staff you’ll ever find

I had trouble opening my door.. they worked tirelessly trying to fix it. I didn’t have WiFi in my room.. it got fixed but the next time the electricity was off.. it was gone again... that aside.. they were brilliant. Breakfast was great, best I’ve had in Goa. The pool staff, bar staff, housekeeping and reception were great. Location is very good. I’d go again... very very friendly!

Prior to my stay, I had visited the hotel, as friends of mine were staying there. They had been given a new room as they weren’t happy with there first choice. I therefore emailed the hotel when I got home, to ask what a superior room was. They don’t have superior rooms!!! (So why are hotels.com selling them?). On arrival we were allocated a room, which I’m assuming my friends were first allocated!!! We were tired, and thought we’d deal with it the next day!!! The hotel was full and nothing could be done!!
We were asked to leave our room on one of our days, as maintenance needed to be done. We had noticed that there was a gaping hole in the bathroom, and assumed it was for this, as it was by the flushing system. However, when we got back there was no sign of any maintenance taken place.
I’m getting a bit tired with going to hotels booked by hotels.com, only to be given the lowest standard of room regardless of stated standard at the time of booking. The rooms are very often in my opinion, ‘the builders room’

Our Stay in Candolim

We had a great 3 weeks stay at the Pheonix Park Inn. The staff could not have been more welcoming. Snahe is a gem, always so pleasant and helpful, sorting our change of room right away without any fuss. The kitchen/dinning staff were excellent, and provided a breakfast to be proud of, particular thanks to Sudip and Manni . The pool and garden area are beautiful at night with its use of lighting in the trees and bushes. Monday Gala nights are spectacular with an amazing selection of superb food to suit all tastes in a lovely setting. Thanks to Rupak ,Arun Inderant and Mohmmad and all the other hard working hotel staff for making sure we felt looked after, wish I could remember all your names. The towel sculptures were great. We would happily stay there again and don’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting to Candolim.

First night was a disaster as we checked in went out and came back to other people in our room. Hotel resolved this quickly after a few words and updated us. Apart from that staff and hotel was nice. No sun lounges and hard to get space round the pool as alot of Indian men crowd the pool.

If you're going to Goa to relax poolside and enjoy the hotel features this is not the hotel for you! All the large resorts are in south Goa. However, if you want to experience the Goa lifestyle out at the beach, bars, and shopping the Phoenix Park Inns location in Candolim(one of the better beach towns in Goa) is perfect.

Rooms: I cannot speak for all of them but ours was spacious and clean.

Breakfast: Bad. We had been traveling across India via hotels and this was definitely at the bottom. Its not that it was uneatable, it was just not great. eg instant coffee, sliced processed ham instead of bacon.

entertainment: Was brutal!! To start we were forced to pay a small fortune additionally upon arrival for a Christmas Gala dinner that was terrible. The MC was inappropriate, people were seated in the grass around the pool, ect. Also every other night had either karaoke or bad singers with the volume way too loud.

Phoenix Park Inn Resort - Wonderful Memories.

We spent 6 nights at the hotel from the 23rd Dec 2016. Although we arrived very late ( our flight got delayed) we received a warm welcome. The check-in was easy all the paperwork were ready and staff were on hand to help us with anything we wanted. However The Xmas Gala for which was compulsory and we were changed extra was a total Rip Off for the price we paid ( almost a third of our hotel cost) and ALL drinks, including soft drinks, were changed extra. We are very unhappy on this specific point.

First hotel stay in India

This hotel was very pleasing to my wife and I and other friends we met who were also staying there. It was ideally located, really well run, the staff were all lovely and genuinely friendly.

Even though it appeared fully booked over the Diwali holiday the quality did not fall off.

Well done Phoenix Park Inn Resort ands all involved with running, cleaning and maintaining it.

Enjoyed my stay at the Phoenix, have stayed in Goa many times before but first time to this hotel, Buffet breakfast there was good choice and plenty, chef to cook eggs etc at your request. Our room was clean, plenty room & balcony, with tea making facility's and hair dryer, free bottled water every day.
We did eat at the hotel a couple nights which was very nice but be careful they like their spices if your not a spice type of eater let them know as i found mine to spicy hot for my taste buds.
From the airport to Hotel was approx 50 mins, if you go straight to the taxi desk as you come out of the airport and book your taxi it costs 1100 rupees approx £11, on return we just a taxi from outside Hotel, you already have a bench mark to know how much you should pay. There is a taylor on site which i had 2 garments made and i was pleased with them, the cost to give you a idea i paid 2000 rupees for a dress, this was lined and high quality. mans shirt around 1500. my experience from Goa is take a top you want copying or a pic out of a next catalogue and they will copy it perfect. I also went on a cooking course whilst in Goa this visit see my trip advisor review for Mukti kitchen was a great experience. Note as taxi's was on strike, we had to take the local bus to the course, it was a great experience, (the conductor on the bus takes the money will help you) bus to Calengute, then a bus to Apora we then had about a miles walk from there but costs us in all 60 rupees about 60p

nice hotel down a quiet lane but central

the hotel is very central but in a quiet location. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. The hotel rooms, our was a premiere room, were large and spacious but a little dated and the beds were very comfy. The pool area was always kept clean but there were limited number of sun beds which soon had towels on them. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would probably return to the hotel again.

This was our second stay at the Phoenix park, our rooms were lovely except we were on top floor, asked to change to a lower floor, cause of a disability and we were moved straight away. Cannot fault the hotel except on arrival rooms weren't available until after 2pm, which wasn't their fault but when you get there in winter clothes and its boiling, you only want a shower, a room could of been offered just to shower and change.

Hotel is located just of the main road which you have to cross to get to the beach - Approx 10min. walk from the hotel. There are lots of shops, bars and restaurants around the hotel which offer a wide variety in every way.

Fair enogh...

-First of all, this Hotel is not where it's indicated at the map...
We was looking particilar for a place which was between the main street/road and the beach..And this felt in that category acc to the map at Hotels.com
But in reality it's on the East side of the main road..I'm not saying it's a big deal...but the coordinates should be correct..not fool people to order a hotel which is not placed correct...
-Breakfast was nothing to 'write home about' as an example the coffee was only instant
-wiFi was not reachable in the room, only along the pool
-Except from the subjects above, the place was fair enogh

Pretty surroundings

Stayed here 12 days 50/50. This hotels bad points and good points are in par with each other. Personal choice as in didn't like breakfast. Beds lumpy and hard. Room service not to the highest of standards. But saying that staff very nice pool and surroundings very pretty. Close to aminaties.

HOTLE ROOM / BATHROOM NEED MAINTAINENCES

One of the worst stay which ruined our holidays. rooms offered to us was too small. oldest tv set ( may be 20 years old set) , rooms need maintainence, bathroom knob need real power to open, toilet flush had leakage problem.

Very Nice buget resort

The rooms were very modern and clean with a lovely swimming pool in a beutiful garden setting. The inclusive food(buffet style) was nice, but best of all were the staff. I really felt like they went out of thier way to accomadate me in every way. We were a couple with a small child and I would definately come back again.

The stay was nice but the overall service was very slow. The one thing that I don't like is they clean their rooms without your permission and when you are not in your rooms. Make sure not to keep any important thing in room when you went outside.

Very Good Staff, Nice Property

Hi,
I have been to Park inn for a long weekend. First thing that I liked about this Hotel was that I booked a Premium Room and was Auto Updated to Deluxe Top Most Category. Secondly the staff, they are really cooperative & Friendly in nature. Good and tasty food. Few things that I want this hotel to improve on is the wash rooms, even the deluxe room doesn't have a bath tub. rest all seems to be okay with me.

Friendly Staff. Good Hotel. Two disappointments.

Overall our stay was very good and staff was friendly. I had taken my wife on her birthday. The bathroom door wood was spoilt from inside. Also I had preinformed Hotels.com while making my reservation over phone to have something special arranged in the room for my wife like a cake or flowers or towel art but disappointingly there was no arrangement at all and on complaining about the same the hotel reception told me that I should have preinformed them seperately.

lovely hotel, great staff.but the guests pathetic

The hotel was well maintained, decent decor, the staff was very helpful and courteous...everyone from the bell boy to the reception managers and even the restaurant was great. The rooms are clean and well maintained and the breakfast spread is decent too.Only regret is the kind of guests they attract.The rates are not low but the hotel is big on group bookings, so it seems they give out packages to everyone lowering the standards of the guests they attract.the staff seemed irritated with the way the group was behaving too, bt couldnt do much obviously.

Close to beach with nice pool.

I've stayed here 3 times. Everything about it was always good, or at least ok, except the rather surly staff. That has changed dramatically. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Some have even learned Russian to accommodate the dramatic influx of Russian tourists. Anyway, I will stay there again when I visit north Goa.

Pathetic hotel rules

Our friends came to the room only for a minute to escort us and hotel made a big deal and security followed us to the door and asked him to leave. I do not get the point of security following me. If any clause of visitor not being allowed they should have mentioned in the confirmation. I would not recommend this hotel even for my enimies. Stay away pls

good hotel bt only basic amenities at premier cost

location is good.10 min walk to condolim beach.rooms n food/bar is lil pricey.but lot of resto-bars in the vicinity.so lot of options available to try out different cuisines out side hotel.hotel ambiance is very calm n quite which was pleasing.complimentary breakfast n other food quality was good.staff is co-operative.rooms are lil cramped.bathrooms were very disappointing.4 storied hotel without lift which was disappointing.but overall fair experience....neither excellent nor too bad to avoid...but there are better properties available at same cost...if better hotels are not available, then only i would recommend this hotel...i think rooms are not worth to spend 4500/day...those are worth something around 2000-2500 max/day...not value for money...but definitely no reason to avoid

Insensitive staff and rude staff.hotel under construction.spa smells and bad staff. Toilets in rooms were bad at time of check in. Horrible breakfast no options and food was over by930. Not worth the money
