Mi experiencia en este hotel ha sido muy positiva desde el primer momento. El personal fue siempre amable, atento y dispuesto a ayudar con cualquier duda o necesidad, ofreciendo información clara sobre el hotel, los servicios y las opciones de la zona. La limpieza de las habitaciones y de las áreas comunes fue excelente, algo que se agradece mucho durante la estadía. La habitación era cómoda, tranquila y bien cuidada, ideal para descansar después de un día de actividades. La piscina también fue uno de los puntos más agradables del hotel: limpia, bien mantenida y perfecta para relajarse en familia o desconectar un rato. En general, el ambiente del lugar transmite tranquilidad, seguridad y buena organización. Se nota que hay cuidado en los detalles y buena disposición por parte del equipo. Sin duda, es un hotel recomendable para quienes buscan una estadía cómoda, limpia y con buena atención. Me voy con una muy buena impresión y lo tendría en cuenta para futuras visitas.

Property in poor condition, quite old, bathroom was stinky I am not sure if from sewage but it was bad smell whole trip. I heard every step from above and next neighbor, i could hear what they speaking, the walls were like paper. It was quite noisy (noisy neighbors). There were beetles in my room that bit, i found also some 2 insects crawling under bed not sure what it was. Breakfast was fine. Super unhappy learning that if i want to pay by credit cars, they add 5%to my bill- this should have been communicated and written. The gentleman at check out was very pleasant. I would pick different hotel next time.

The hotel has a very good location. 10 minutes walk from the airport or from the city center. The staff was nice. However, the noise level in the room was unbelievable. I could here all the sounds. I kept on thinking my window must have been opened but after checking couple of times, it was well closed. I could here the showers in the other room (not just the plumbing, the actual water). In the bathroom my shea butter container got the attention of an army of mini-ants.

We loved the close proximity to the town and airport as everything was in walking distance. The staff was outstanding. We did have an issue with our hot water not working, but the staff came to get it to work right away. The daily breakfast was always delicious as we got eggs made fresh daily and fresh delicious fruit was also included. Also, we went on 2 excursions where we had to meet before breakfast started. So the staff got us a box breakfast the night before we left on these excursions. Overall, we were very pleased with the excellent service and cleanliness of the room.

Hotel was a short walk to shopping, waterfront and inexpensive local food. Breakfast was $5 and was buffet style. Room was clean. Shower temperature was very touchy. Front desk staff was pleasant. Booked this last minute. Was a little overpriced but not too bad.

We had a good stay in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno in this family size room. The entrance is a little hidden from the street view. Easy to walk into town about 4 blocks.This place is dated and worn, but we felt safe and enjoyed the large room and terrace especially. Would have been good to have another chair out there. Good air condition and water pressure. Staff was nice; filtered water and instant coffee available in the common area. Note-no elevator. Overall, it was fine for a stay as long as you expect hostel style-but with a bonus private bathroom!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Los Algarrobos on San Cristobal Island in the Galapagos. The location was perfect - convenient to explore the town center and the waterfront promenade. The staff was fantastic - friendly, helpful, and always available to answer any questions I had.
Hotel Los Algorrobos provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay in the Galapagos. My room was clean, spacious, and quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good value and a friendly atmosphere in San Cristobal.

Good place.

This is a really good place to stay. It is in a great location with eateries, groceries, etc very close and a 3 minute walk to the water. There is an old pool table to shoot some pool. The staff is very helpful. Air conditioning works great. Wi-Fi is spotty but it is easy to find where it works better within the building. We enjoyed our 3 nights there.

The hotel was fine but to my disappointment when I checked in I was told that breakfast was excluded, I asked the clerk the reason because when I selected this hotel it was because I wanted to have breakfast, otherwise I would have selected a nicer and cheaper hotel.
She showed me on her printout “breakfast excluded” but I was told that I can purchase their breakfast that is misleading!

We arrived early and they made every effort to have our room ready as soon as possible. Check-in was easy. They offer instant coffee, cold and hot water and tea all day long in the lobby. They have nice and comfortable common areas where WiFi signal is better compared to the WiFi in the rooms which may be spotty at times. They offer a nice breakfast (coffee, eggs, bread, ham, cheese, fruit) at the restaurant on the 1st floor for 6 USD. You can ask for filtered coffee or some milk at the restaurant for free. Walking distance to the airport is about 10 mins (nice easy walk). Some rooms have a safe. Shower has hot water.

Basic hotel in good location.

The location was good, the room was very small and basic. There was only one set of towels and one was stained so I asked for 2 new towels which were provided straight away. The bed was reasonably comfortable and we slept ok. We didn’t eat breakfast because we had activities planned but a box lunch was provided.

The owner is flexible when I tried to add one more night; Check in was fast and easy. I loved the arts and natural decors (such as real whale bones, plants and seashells). I am not sure who is the real owner, but everyone tried to help me, including the guy who runs the churros shop opposite to the hotel. The location is perfect. We actually walked from the airport to the hotel. Many lunch and dinner locations right below the hotel. We loved the grilled shrimps at Don Nelson to the right of the hotel, 5 shrimps for $3. They are out very quickly, we wish we have ordered more.

Even though it was a bit hostel-y, it was clean and the staff was always a help. The rooms were very large, and the bathrooms were showers, but decent. There were three beds in our room, which would allow for an entire group to stay there....if they were willing to share the bathroom. The picture is the room we had our second stay, and the view was very nice. We would definitely return.

Los tours en la isla comienzan a las 7:30 y ellos a esa hora recien lo sirven… si te hospedas mejor no pagues la opción con desayuno… en el muelle hay restaurantes que te ofrecen desayuno desde las 6:00… la ubicación no esta mal, pero no es una zona muy silenciosa

Vinicio, the owner was amazing. As soon as I booked the hotel I contacted him and he was able to provide the document called \"salvoconducto\" so we could ingress to the Islands. Once we were here, he provided us with a very comfortable and clean room that satisfied the needs of our family of 5.

Hotel was clean and had all the basic amenities. Staff was helpful, but often was not at the desk and spoke little English. Breakfast was basic, but very good. Had a very noisy extended family staying the first night that was off putting as well as a very loud rooster than seemed to live at the building next to my room. No fault of the hotels, but be advised it is best to bring ear plugs so a quiet night's sleep.

Staff entered our room and moved belongings

The hotel itself was standard, but the service was Completely Unacceptable.
The front desk staff mistakenly gave us the wrong room- something that can happen anywhere. However, when we came back around 8pm the day we checked in, we found them in the midst of removing our things from the room we had checked into and left locked behind us. They didn't try to call us (they had phone numbers) or email (which they also had). No contact at all. They just entered our room and started moving our things.
Upon our arrival, they told us that they made a mistake and kept apologizing for giving us the wrong room, which we told them was an understandable mistake. However, they Refused the even acknowledge the issue of entering our locked room and handling/moving our things. Thankfully, we had our $ and passports with us.
We ended up having to threaten to call the police before they would return the copies of our passports and erase our passport numbers from their records, as we left without staying there. The women also would not call a manager (claimed they were away, after we overheard them say earlier to one another to not call the manager), or give us their names.

The hotel is fine as a structure/location, but completely untrustworthy, would NEVER stay there.

The hotel is located downtown and we easily walked to the hotel from the airport. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Pillows not as comfortable. Had a decent wifi. The room was nice but nothing special. The breakfast was decent and prepared as you came into the restaurant which is attached to the hotel. Was able to store our bags for half a day while we explored the island. Would stay there again if I returned to San Cristobol.

Stayed for one night. The hotel is clean and wifi is working reasonably (which is actually a rarity in the Galapagos). Service is ok for the price with English speaking staff and they are helpful. The one down side is that the hotel location is near the edge of the tourist area. It is a only short (2-3 mins) walk to the touristy part of town but the location is reflected in the price.

Ok hotel and decent value for money. Condition ok but a bit dated, cleanliness ok. The green sheets were a bit odd. Some towels were dirty in bathroom. Hotel is a 5 min walk from city cetre and port. Breakfast was alright even though the place where it was served (just next to hotel) had seen better days.

Good mid- to budget range property. The highlight is definitely the rooftop terrace with lounge chairs and hammocks and views. Good WiFi and A/C and decent rooms. The staff are often NOT at the front desk, not sure where they are during the day. I definitely prefer to have someone there at the desk pretty much 24 hours, but that's not the case here nor at many Galapagos hotels. Breakfast wasn't included in my rate, so the value was not the best. If they included breakfast at all rates, the value would be much better. 10 minute walk to just about anywhere you need to go. Coffee and tea available most of the day. Book exchange is also good.

Best Wifi on the island! Seriously the only consistent connection I had during my stay. Rooms were a bit antiquated but perfectly clean. Beds comfy and lots of pillows. The free breakfast served next door is quite good too.

We arrived midday to a very pleasant and supportive staff. Our 3-day stay went off without a hitch. We enjoyed the easy access to the waterfront at this quiet setting. Breakfasts were good with fresh fruit, cereal and yoghurt provided. The AC worked well and there was always plenty of hot water.

Not what we thought we booked for

We chose this hotel for what was advertised. They do not offer kitchenette only had refrigerator, NO cookware/dishware and NO expresso maker. NO PRACTICAL washer and dryer they don't even offer the service. They said not because it's advertised we offer it. This is false advertising and should be corrected immediately pls. Very cheap on breakfast, they will charge for one more toast. In fact they wanted to charge for a glass I broke because their shelf was broken. Our daughter had to chg room, she was not given either of what we had booked for. We paid a high price compare to if we were in Ecuador, so it's not fair that we are not well treated and falsely advertised. We will return to San Cristobal and certainly not there

My extended family stayed here for 3 nights. We had 5 rooms all were very different. Two rooms had 3 double beds, a great view and great windows. One room had a king and twin. My husband's and my room was tiny with just a queen bed. We had to flip a breaker to get hot water...but no one told us that. I just happened to figure it out. There is no laundry like is specified by hotels.com There is very little English spoken. There are stairs everywhere. Breakfast was made to order and up on the roof. It was great. I would stay here again. But I would get a different room. Room 8 was large room 18 too. Those rooms have the curved windows in shown in the front of the building. There is no safe, but we left our valuables and they were fine.

Great Hotel with Excellent Staff

Excellent stay in San Cristobal. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The location is good, about 2 blocks from the coastline. The staff, especially Fernando is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very large and clean. The room has a nice bathroom, refrigerator, television and air conditioner. The lobby has hot and cold bottled water available which prevented us from constantly buying bottled water. Excellent hotel.

Great hostal in San Cristobal, Galapagos, Ecuador.

This place was well kept. It looks new and has a very good location.
All other features worked well, shower, air conditioner, very good breakfast and even had an open area in the restaurant for smoking.
Staff was very attentive and supplied good and accurate information.
One could walk to the airport in 10 minutes, but why? Taxis cost only $2
The main street is only 5 minutes walking.
If I am to go back to San Cristobal I would definetely stay at the Algarrobos again.

We stayed on a Friday night and returned after a weekend island trip on Monday to stay one more night. One of the young men on staff was anxious to chat about sightseeing opportunities, and had decent English skills. The hotel was accommodating, and kept our luggage for the weekend. After staying at an inferior hostel on the other island, we definitely looked forward to returning to Los Algarrobos. Cost was reasonable for the quality. The staff did take a credit card, but not everyone on staff knew how to handle a credit card transaction. The breakfast was better than anticipated. Our room was spacious (three beds), had windows on two walls and a walkout to a rooftop balcony. A/C was standard remote control unit that did the job. Television was in good working order with satellite. The bathroom was spacious. Front desk was not open at 6:30 am when we needed to leave one morning, so we had to wait a few minutes after ringing the bell for the proprietor to wake up. But overall fairly pleasant and spacious feeling. Nicely appointed common areas.

Comfortable stay and luxurious for a hostel!

The hostel is more like a hotel; great service and very clean. The property is fairly new with updated features/fixtures. The bed was comfortable. They provided new towels everyday and had plenty of shampoo/soap. The view from our room was good. The roof, where delicious breakfast was served every morning, even has a telescope and a pool table! The staff is friendly and helpful.
