The property itself was in a great location in regards to things around the island and the harbor but it was noisy being right next to the restaurant at the hotel. I asked if their construction would continue the next few days and they said no just today, but every day when we tried to nap we’d hear the hammers . I even ask if I could pay for an upgrade to escape the noise but never got back to me. In the evening it was loud until 10p because people were drinking and eating at the restaurant. At 5am I would be woken up by the loud speaker for prayer.

Very loud AC and mini bar, uncomfortable bed and a alarm in the safety deposit box that went of multiple times in the middle of the night.

Wonderful staff and Hotel :)

We were greeted by a lady called Marissa who was such a lovely lady, she went out of her way to get to know you personally and was very helpful with everything. The rest of the staff were amazing too and made us feel at home. The hotel and rooms themselves were beautiful and only a short walk away from the night life. The hotel was quiet and the pool was beautiful. I will definitely be staying at Gili Amor again.

Nice hotel with friendly staff

It was not the most comfortable hotel I've been to, but for the Gili island, I think it was good standards. Towels smelt too much of detergent. Overall good.

Gili amor boutique hotel

The stay at the amor boutique was very pleasant. The outside area and restaurant are very nice and the pool is super cool. A few of the rooms need updating as the bathrooms are a tad tired.
We had one of these rooms when we first turned up but asked if we could swap and they sorted it immediately with no hassles at all.
There are two mosques on the island and there are 5 calls a day. It is hard to escape them and one is much louder than the other. The one closest to the amor Is the quieter one and isn’t bad for the noise. You can hardly hear it when you are inside. (I have stayed at Gili many times and would recommend not staying any further to the right than the amors location, the amor and to the left is the better locations).

Great location and friendly staff!

A friend recommended gili amor to me. I was impressed by how professional the staff were. They really have service down pact. The pool was great... slightly on the warm side but it's also 30 degrees everyday so it probably hard to maintain a cooler temp. Everything was very clean. I saw them cleaning the pool every morning and breakfast was included which had great options. Thanks for a wonderful stay gili amor!

Truly boutique hotel but...

This hotel was charming and boutique. Decent breakfast choices, comfortable bed, nice size room. However you must be aware of the mosque loudspeaker right outside your open-air windows. 5am and throughout the day everyday. If you want a peaceful getaway this just isn't it. The pool was murky even though I saw them cleaning it daily. Too bad for these minor issues, it's a charming hotel.

Prostitute filled hotel with nothing to recommend

Numerous prostitues in the pool, staying with guests, no privacy, paper thing walls, balconies looking into each other's bedrooms. Cable to with no English channels. Mould and rising damp on the walls. Terrible configured bathroom. Expensive for what you get. Average location. View of rubish tip next door. Mould in the shower. Mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was fare.

The staff at Gili Amor Boutique was wonderful and very welcoming. The outdoor pool was gorgeous. The bathroom, however, had a leaking ceiling, and we found mouse feces on two separate occasions. That was a deal breaker for us, and we left after one night.

The hotel is beautiful. We had an issue with water flooding in from the balcony on one night, during a heavy rainstorm, and the shower water would smell sulfurous for the first 5-10 minutes of use. The staff were wonderful, the place is really cute and close walking distance to the harbor. Give yourself an extra half hour and get the sunrise breakfast bowl - tasty and cute!

Deserves more than 5 Stars

Our original choice of accommodation was fully booked and it was just by chance that we saw this hotel on the internet. Really glad we did as it was, without doubt, our best hotel in Indonesia. Rooms were very comfortable, there was a safe in the wardrobe - however sometimes the wardrobe doors were a little stiff. Water pressure on Gili T does seem to be an ongoing problem so the shower was not always great but it wasn't a problem for us.Our room was facing the pool and there was a balcony area where you could sit and watch the world go by!! Breakfasts were definitely the best to date, excellent choice and served by a happy staff. We ate there in the evening on 2 occasions and found the meals to be really good and much better value than on the main street. Amor Boutique is a 5 minutes walk from where the ferries arrive, a few minutes from the night market and the evening entertainment and yet it is a very peaceful setting, unfortunately you do hear the 'call to prayer' which certainly gave us an early morning call but I think everyone on the island probably hears it as well.

Perfect location from padangbai port the dropped off location. Surprisingly quite eventho only 2 minutes walk to the strip of bars and clubs. They give you welcome cold drink which is refreshing. The staffs are friendly, the manager Angga was great. There's short outrage during our stay but we expected knowing we are in an island. Morning prayer didn't bother us at all, overall great hotel.

Great location, hotel offers great food and even bikes to rent. Welcome drink upon arrival was excellent touch also. They provide breakfast in the morning too.

Had a couple of nice days, the location was good, close to the night market, but not on the water. Surprisingly the location was quiet. The only drawback was you only got a sheet on the bed. I asked for and blanket and was very quickly given two more sheets ( which was just enough)

Good staff.

The hotel is nice and staff was the best thing about it. Internet didn't work well during all our stay there and because of that they gave us an upgrade on the room. The pool was great. The bedroom was clean with a comfy bed but the air conditioning was too strong. It was either too hot or too cold.

Great value for money

The hotel is pretty new and on the back streets of Gili T which is nice as it is away from all the hustle and bustle of the main street but not too far away. Just a two minute walk to the main street. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast included was fantastic. The meals were also delicious. One downfall would be every four hours they have prayer music that plays over loud speakers throughout Gili T. I think there must be a speaker pretty close to the hotel so this along with the roosters at 5am in the morning can be irritating. I can sleep through anything so it wasn't too much of a bother to me. All in all I would recommend this to friends and family. It is a super cute Hotel and worth the stay.

Bed Bugs and Poor Hygiene – Disappointing Stay

I had to check out early due to a bed bug issue.
One staff member kindly changed the sheets, but the bites continued.
When I asked another staff member to inspect the room for future guests, they simply said, “We’ve never had this problem in that room before” and refused to take further action.
They offered me a different room, but it was in worse condition, so I declined.
No refund was provided.
Very disappointing experience overall, especially in terms of hygiene and customer care.

Gili Trawangan on mukava todellinen rantalomakohde, jonne pääsee suhteellisen helposti Balin saarelta. Päätimme jäädä kahdeksi yöksi. Hotellin palvelualttius on korkeaa tasoa, niin kuin ystävällisyyskin. Huoneet ovat oikein sopivat tähän kohteeseen, varustettuna tehokkaalla AC:lla. Sänky oli liian kova omaan makuun ja Wi-Fi toimi luvattoman huonosti. Tähän olisi hyvä hotellin panostaa jatkossa. Hintaan kuuluva aamiainen on maittava ja iltapäivän happy hour riittoisa 😉 Uima-allas on kivan kokoinen, saa uida ja polkupyörän saa helposti vuokrattua. Se on suositeltavaa sillä saarella on helpointa liikkua pyörällä ja paljon on nähtävää sekä tehtävää 10-15 pyörämatkan päässä.

Bedbugs!!

Vi er ret sikre på at vi fik bedbugs af at overnatte her!!! Da vi fortalte personalet, virkede de meget ligeglade og var meget uhøflige. Deres svar var blot “det skulle i have sagt, så kunne i få et andet værelse” men da skaden allerede var sket, var dette fuldstændig ligegyldigt!!

Super mysigt hotell!!

Detta hotellet tyckte jag verkligen om! Jätte mysigt, lungt och fint! Frukosten var faktiskt över förväntningar.
Det enda som var dåligt var att våran ac lät så himla mycket, så vi var tvugna att stänga av den på nätterna och det resulterade i att man inte sov så mycket för det blev för varmt..
Men vi sa dock inte till om detta, så dom skulle säkert kunna fixa det direkt om vi bad om det. Personalen var väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma.

Roligt område, meget venligt personale,

Hotellet er rent og pænt og service er i top. Terrasserne er meget åbne og man vil komme naboen ved. Roligt område. ( pånær når der er bøn - så ligger moskeen rinelig tæt på - men det varer ikke så længe ) gode senge!!
Vi tog fra øen forbi trawangan bare har ændret sig for meget de sidste år, men hotellet fejler absolut ingenting. Tak for opholdet

プールビューの部屋で、バルコニーが素敵でした！朝食も10種類位の中から毎日好きなものが選べて良かったです。トラワンガンの港からも近くて便利でした。1日Rp50000で自転車をレンタル出来、サンセットビーチのほうまで行きました！WiFiが弱い日があったり、プールが少し汚かったのが気になりましたが、全体的には快適なホテルでした。

Veldig bra!

Vi hadde 4 fine netter her. Hotellet er veldig sentralt, 2 minutter gange fra der båten legger til og like ved "sentrum", strand, restauranter osv. Selv om det var nær til alt, var vi aldri plaget av støy.
Personalet her var helt fantastiske! Alltid blide og imøtekommende.
God frokost som man kunne velge fra meny.
Her kan man låne badehåndklær, leie sykler, vaske klær mot en liten betaling og de kunne hjelpe oss med å booke turer, feks snorkeltur.
Kunne fint bodd her igjen.
