Beautiful private villa on the property with full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, private plunge pool, courtyard area all well furnished and luxurious. Only downside was the fastboat was delayed getting us there and we were only able to stay one night so not enough time to fully enjoy all this property offered! Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Had a great time , it was a great location and walking distance to bars and restaurants . The staff were helpful with laundry services, cycle hire and snorkeling trips. Breakfast was great also. We were concerned we would hear a lot of noise from the onsite bar, but this was not a problem at all. We stayed in the villa which was perfect for us, the outdoor area was lovely and the plunge pool was perfect. Would reccomend !

It’s a great hotel in Gili T. Unlike other hotels in Bali, this hotel comes with a water jug. The location is excellent. The Irish pub is also on the property. I thought the band was going to be too loud at night, but it was not a problem. I’d recommend to stay there.

The room itself was very clean and spacious. A/C worked great and location was good! The pool is quite small the loungers were falling apart and it was very private or relaxing atmosphere. Lots of construction right beside pool so couldn’t lay out and relax it was too noisy and lots of construction workers near. At night the Irish Bar is very busy and can be noisy so ask for a room further away.

Loved our stay at Tir Na Nog. Amazing value. Found a deal for 38 dollars a night on hotels.com. This is easily an 80 dollar a night room... great ac and the outdoor bathroom was awesome. The guys at the front were all super nice and accommodating. Only negative thing to mention was the construction going on right next door... the island is rebuilding due to an earthquake so this is to be expected. Highly recommend!

Decent stay for an evening

We stayed here on New Years Eves night. We booked the standard double room - room with balcony. Room was decent size with decent size bathroom. Overall, a decent experience and staff were friendly. The hotel has an Irish Bar with very delicious foods.

The rooms are good and well maintained, regarding hotel service, I wouldn’t say there is such a thing, a hello at the reception is rare and a smile is a luxury. Do not expect services you get in hotel, expect more of bed and breakfast with the typical Indonesian customer service.

We cannot fault the staff or the area as a whole. A few issues with the room itself, no hot water in the shower, bathroom door scrapped the floor every time it was open shut, no hair dryer, TV didn't work, one bedside lamp and the outdoors light didn't work.

Strategic location, bad hotel condition

A bit scary as the pathway to my room is dark and quiet. Next, the room door was misaligned as it actually scratching the floor during opening and closing, and a lot of force was needed to open or close it. Thing is getting worse as the bathroom's room can't even close properly (and cannot lock). Besides, the bathroom's floor also dirty. Really a bad experience from this stay.

Our shower was not the best as the water dribbled out of the shower head. Multiple cockroaches in the room as well as the floor constantly getting wet if you didn't have the A/C on full blast. Was not a comfortable stay.

Great place!

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was great! It was clean, modern and tidy. The only problem was the air con wasn't very good and we would wake up in the night sweating. There are also A LOT of mosquitos in the area, so make sure you lather up with repellent before bed. It makes it hard to prevent the bites with the outdoor shower and toilet though. We were told there would be construction while we were staying at tir na nog which was fine, but the staff said it would start at 9am, most mornings the construction started at 8 meaning we would get woken up. The construction was happening on the roof, so every time I would have a shower in the morning builders could see me which was very uncomfortable. I would definitely return when they aren't having construction done though! It's very close to the beach and the night markets, and it's surrounded by what I think are the nicest restaurants on the island. It also has an Irish pub which has amazing drink deals on! The breakfast is very nice and the staff at the bar are amazing.

Lovely lovely hotel room. It is in a great location and super close to the main part of Gili T. The outdoor bathroom was beautiful however mosquitoes we're a problem. Free breakfast service was great and delicious. Staff were beyond friendly. However there were a few stains on the bed sheet and the aircon stopped working and the wifi is pretty dodgy. Overall would stay here again as it super cheap and offered everything we needed.

Third time at Gili T over the last 8 years and second stay at this place. Still has a great vibe and definitely one of the best drinking bars on the island. We stayed in a deluxe room last time and I would highly recommend that you do the same. Whilst the standard rooms are OK they are not a patch on those at the other side.

Fabulous Stay, Excellent Location

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights in Gili T. We were greeted by the very friendly staff and escorted to our rooms. Room was spacious, clean and we was provided with clean water. The location is excellent, very close to the harbour and the majority of the restaurants and bars and really close to the beach. The view at breakfast was amazing. The food at breakfast was also really great. Would recommend this hotel!

I like the location of the hotel is near the beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable . just do not like the smell of soap provided by the hotel .
Its a walk distance to the art market,food stall and jetty. But so far to the sunset area.must take bicycle.overall I enjoyed the stay.
Oh if possible the hotel can provide halal food to the muslim customer.

I booked the deluxe bungalow.
Please note the accommodation is very basic but cheap accordingly. You get what you pay for.
Nice feel to the room , big & spacious, friendly staff & excellent location.
Free filtered water.
Our front door didn't lock & all doors/windows were dodgy. Luckily you also have a front entrance stone wall which you can lock which meant our room was secure.
Outdoor bathroom looked great but extreme amount of mosquitoes & bees.
Homemade body wash sits in the sun all day & stunk. Poor quality.
Bed was squeaky & uncomfortable.
Your room only gets serviced if you ask & then you have to further ask if you want your towels changed.
Wifi was often poor quality.

Nice hotel close to the beach

We stayed at this hotel for a night. The staff were nice and helpful. We booked a snorkelling trip and hired a bike, both very cheap to do. Our room including breakfast at the Irish bar on the beach opposite. The food was lovely and staff very friendly. Although the rooms are opposite the Irish bar owned by the hotel on the beach, no noise could be heard and it was very quiet. Hotel is suitable for everyone.

Great suprise!

The hotel was much better than excepted! I don't know what they don't have a higher rating considering that it's much much less disappointing than any of the others hotels I visited in Bali which were supposedly \"amazing\" but turned out to be so lousy.
Tir Na Nog offers very functional rooms (free drinkable water, I don't mean the little bottles, I mean the whole tank!), a lot of TV channels which really work! Wifi really works too, what a surprise. And suprisingly, even being in the center of the action, the rooms are not so loud and I could barely hear the music from my room. Also the great news is that for the first time in Bali, my stay was not ruined by little children running around everywhere, shouting and invading the pool! Thank you Tir Na Nog!!!

When we booked we didn't realise the hotel was also the Irish pub on the island. At first we thought it would be quite loud as they often had the bigger parties, although it wasn't as bad. Despite the restaurant being on the beach, there isn't a beach to swim at, you need to walk down a bit, but there was a pool. The rooms were comfortable and tidy, although didn't have a fridge. The restaurant is good, and reasonably priced but the breakfast selection is a bit limited.

To be honest, I was suprised that the deluxe room did not have a fridge. The room was clean, the outdoor shower was nice the beds were comfy. Our AC worked and was surprised how quiet it was in the room from the outside noise. The staff were friendly, especially when I broke the key in the lock twice (different doors). The Beach Bar is good.
Look, at the end of the day it was in a great location, it looks tired but you pay for what you get.

Shabby, Rundown, No amenities, No Service, No Wifi, Good thing it didn't rain as the roof obviously needs replacement, Bed lumpy and uncomfortable, No phone to front desk or otherwise, A/C dripped into room, Bathroom sink leaked, Tiles broken, Building in need of a complete renovation, not just a sprucing up.Stairs steep and uneven. Really small pool, Greedy front desk staff not willing to negotiate things like tours and bike rentals so walk to the street and get these minimum 30% cheaper. This property is nothing more than a Bar Restaurant with some rundown rooms to rent.

From check-in to everything else Tir Na Nog was the perfect place for me to stay on Gili T. The room was way better than I expected, seperate sitting/garden area from the bedroom and an outdoor bathroom was a pleasant surprise. The pool area is nice, breakfast was great, they arranged everything for us, including getting a discounted fastboat trip back to Bali a day early for my girlfriend. The staff are wonderful, they remember your name, your drink order, your breakfast choice, everything. It's the little things that make a huge difference and the place is so affordable and well located.

This isn't the best hotel for the price that you pay, there are better options out there. The location is ideal if you want to stay in the party side of Gili T. I had problems with the wifi in my room while I was there and the staff repeatedly tried to fix it, but could not. One of the managers claimed connection issues was due to the island itself, but that was nonsense because restaurants had better wifi. Breakfast also had limited options as they tended to upsell add on's when it should just be included. All in all I feel that the hotel cared more about their restaurant bar than their hotel itself, you can tell when there is no one working the front desk at7pm onwards.

Stayed there for one night only and for this price we could have easily found a better hotel within the same area. However, since we only came to gili for a day we didn't want to waste anytime on looking for accommodation. The door to our room didn't shut properly as it fell out o the door frame. They offered us another room that we could lock, albeit they were quite reluctant to do so. The bathroom area is not really enclosed but separate so that when you shower you can see the sky which was an interesting experience. There was a roof over the toilet and a sink. Breakfast was average; you select one dish out of 5 or 6 options. The pool was quite small and not really suitable for swimming.

We originally booked this hotel for only one night of our 5 day stay on gili and we ended up staying at the hotel for the whole time! We had a deluxe room which was excellent. The outdoor bath room and shower were the best part! After spending the day on the water it was so nice to have a cool shower outdoors. The rooms also have little adjoining court yard which work well for drying your swim suits. The pictures of the rooms don't do them justice, it was really quite nice also the beds were a little squeaky! The breakfast is also very good, we up graded to the \"gypsy eggs\" and ended up having them everyday. The location also can't be beat as it is in the center of everything! It was a bit loud in the room on Wednesday which is the resorts party day but still enjoyable!

If you like a relaxing hotel with a great pool area and cheap beers then its a good choice, good location at the busier end near some great restaurants. Breakfast everyday overlooking the ocean is lovely. Parties at night dont actually keep you awake never thought it was too loud (we were right at the back though).

When we arrived check-in-in hotel room still was not able to check-in,we waiting for 30min...A/C was not working properly...hotel staff was not friendly, receptionist so so....Irish bar next to beach was not the best option to spend time, all staff was so lazy! if you need make order you need looking for waitress ! anyway I was shock of so bad service and staff who working here.Compare with Bali island and this hotel in Gili ,looks like day-night! better stay in another hotel.

Great place, super busy part of island.

This hotel was great, but make sure you know it is in the middle of town. It is basically party central. If you want something a little more relaxing with a nice beach view and beach access, you should look someplace further away from town. We were happy with the hotel, but wish we would have done more research to get a place with direct beach access. The food was great and this is a great place to watch rugby.

This was my second time in the Gili islands and I travelled with friends who stayed at another resort of the same category/price range. The ground floor rooms were decent and comfortable, however the staffs (particularly the restaurant staffs) were not helpful at all. The location was excellent as it's in the centre of all activities. However the only downside is the rooms can be somewhat noisy. Other than that, it was an overall pleasant stay.

We arrived for 5 nights on a Wednesday which is the big party night at Tir Na Nog. The place was packed but it really didn't impact on our stay. We couldn't hear the noise from the bar after we left. Rooms were clean & spacious with air con & a safe. It's ideally situated only a 5 min walk from the harbour. Only had breakfast once but it was good. Friends left it late to book & ended up in the 2 bed villa it was great even had their own private pool! Would return.

We did not have a great experience with the hotel. First they arranged a boat for us from Lombok to Gili and it's was the worst boatride ever. Bad old boat no lifejackets, no english, random people on it even though is should have only been us two and the \"crew\". The driver was racing with another boat aswell! When we finally came to the hotel it was a big disappointment very very old dirty room. The bathroom looked even worse they should probably look that up something is alive in thoose walls. It was worse than living in a hostel to be honest. Everything just felt dirty the pool and the breakfast too. Location was really good close to everything but at the same time Gili is very small. Wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here.

We stayed here for three nights. The deluxe room was clean and tidy. The staff were fairly poor in terms of service and attention to your needs. We even had someone playing cards while at the front desk and this person was to busy to answer a question from another staff member to help us out. The main pool is also located next to the bar and so that was disappointing as we didn't feel we could relax there. At least the beach wasn't to far away for swimming!

Stayed 3 nights here. Really nice hotel with great staff. Staff were very friendly. Included breakfast which was really good. Great location and a good deal. Couldn't of asked for more. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again next time

I enjoyed my 2 night stay at Tir Na Nog Gili Trawangan. The hotel is also a lively Irish Bar on certain nights and is a great time. It is located on the main strip and a short bike ride or walk from almost anyting on the island. The rooms were spacious and clean and I really enjoyed the outdoor shower in the deluxe room.

I enjoyed the stay at Tir Na Nog on Gili T. It is also an Irish Bar and has a great nightlife as well. The location were perfect on the main strip and a close bike ride or walk from everything on the island. The room was clean and spacious and I loved the outdoor shower in the deluxe room.

Worse staff ever!

First of all, after booking a room with 2 seperate beds we only got one! Then they rented a mattress to throw on the ground! Then as I woke up the next morning I was soaking because the air con had dropped water on me all nite!
When leaving we were then asked to pay a bill for 4 meals that we already had paid for and then charged for the rental of the mattress for FIVE nights even though we only stayed 3!
This hotel completely ruined the whole holiday and I would recommend that people avoid it and instead stay in one of the other cheaper, cleaner and friendlier hotels!

Nice quiet place to stay

This is a quiet place to stay. Our room was very pleasant and value for money, but we were expecting a fridge in the room and tea/coffee making facilities (maybe I did not look too close enough). The rooms are out the back away from the bars and main street. Staff were very friendly and helpfull but they did forget our wake up call to catch the boat back to the mainland. Fortunately we woke up ourselves. It was easy to arrange tours from this hotel.

Good quality and great location

Nice little hotel - clean and well located, and very friendly service from everyone. Nice beach bar and good breakfast. Nice pool and all in all good set up. My only comment would be that if you want to have a somewhat good night's sleep, make sure to ask for rooms from 5 onwards as the ones with lowest numbers are closest to the bar and you will hear the music into your room as night.

Cheap, but not nasty

For the cost it was a good hotel. It's not as nice as the brochure make out. The staff were nice but a little frustrating at times eg. They seem to do things in their own time and their English is good when it suits them. Over all, it was nice.

Excellent value for money

Situated in a prime location on gili T. The hotel is home of 'The Irish' bar which is lively on a night however the noise does not travel to the hotel rooms so you are not disturbed. The hotel does not have a beach immediately outside but access can be gained within 50m either side of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend!

Smelly Pool

Tir na Nog had the nicest staff I had ever met, they knew us all by name and were very friendly and offered to help us out all the time during our stay. The bed room was clean and a nice size. However, the bed was very, very noisy so any time one of us rolled over it would wake us both up, the bathroom toilet did not flush very well and there was a dead cockroach in it the entire time which wasn't ideal. The worst part though was that the pool area stank of rubbish. This meant that we never once swam in it but it did mean we went on more adventures around the island as it was not at all appealing to sit by the pool for the day. The bar is great fun but anyone can use it so there is no advantage to staying in the hotel for that reason. It is located along the main strip of hotels and bars so is perfectly placed if you want to go partying. It could be a great hotel with a few improvements but the flaws it does have are quite significant,

Great location, spacious comfortable & clean room!

Excellent location right in the center of the main bar/ restaurant area on the island.

It is attached to an Irish pub so there is some noise but this wasn't really a problem.

Very spacious room with a nice outdoor sitting area. Quirky bathroom with an outdoor shower so you can shower under the stars. It had a safe & was air conditioned but there was no mini-bar or hairdryer.

The service at reception was ok but the staff were not as friendly as at other hotels on the island and other areas of Indonesia

It has a very busy bar & a great restaurant which serves good food. The choice of complimentary breakfast was good; my booking said continental breakfast but I was able to order bacon & eggs.

Good value for money accommodation!

Though location is good but the qualify of the room leave a lot to desire. E.g. there is no bath mat, cupboard door can't closed properly etc. I guess it's good as a touch-&-go hotel!.

Rizal is great! Nice hotel!

I think our stay was such a success due to Rizal - he is a great employee there with lots of potential for management and I hope they see it. I heard other travelers didn't have the same experience and coincidentally, they didn't know who Rizal was. He was attentive to us from day one and remembered our names for the 4 days we stayed there. The hotel is nice, great location, nice breakfast (included), pool. We didn't have hot water, though it's advertised everywhere. It's a hotel/Irish bar and I was worried I would not be able to sleep because of the noise (I'm not a partier), but the hotel part is in the back and it was pretty nice and quiet when we walked back to our room. Be patient with the breakfast staff; they are not the fastest... so don't wait until you are hungry to put in your order.
