Great central location in the heart of Gili. Staff friendly and willing to help (but need a bit of work on following through). The room was nice and the facility was good, but there were issues with the power (had tripped at several points in my room before arrival and staff couldn't organise a simple reset for 3 hours. May have been a comms breakdown, but I was very clear with the Receptionist who said she understood, I even showed her the fault). Wifi unstable and kept signing me out to the point of annoyance. Several power spikes taking the wifi offline as well, but that may had to do with work in area). A bit noisy with workers outside room hammering away in the arvo and the AC seemed to become very noisy in evening too. With all that said, I would stay there again if they change wifi providors / setup. 650K for an espresso was a rip off though. More expensive than my home country.

I really wanted to like this hotel and try to keep potistive after some issues but it is so hard to write a good review without pointing out some issues.
The cleanliness of the hotel over all was disappointing. The pool seems as if they havent cleaned it in weeks. The room sheets were stained. It looked as if they used white out to cover some of the small stains. For two days we had no towels for our room. Literally zero. Not even to dry off after the shower or to dry our hands.
Staff was nice though and the buffet breakfast was good.

Easy access to the habour! Great staff and good food. Their Nescafé machine is bitter coffee, avoid lol.

If you want to rent a bike, shop around. The hotel will rent you a dinky squeaky bike for $75k while down the street you can find a better for $50k

Friendly staff, great location, breakfast buffet and cooked options were good.
The room was nice but had a bit of a damp smell until the air con had been on for a while, and no balcony/ personal outdoor area made it difficult to dry clothing after being in the sea.
All things considered I would stay here again :)

The hotel is nice but we were disappointed because our view was the wall on the side of the hotel, we did not open the blinds due to no views at all. Room were a little small compare to what we saw on the picture. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good and the hotel is just 1 minute walk from the main ferry terminal.

Was a beautiful hotel, staff were lovely. If you're not wanting to party and be up all night wouldn't recommend staying on a Monday night, there is super loud music playing until 3am on Monday nights and isn't sound proof at all.

The hotel is modern, nice designed room, super friendly staff, easily accessible rooms, pool is nice. The hotel wasn’t up to my cleanliness standard I’d give it 8/10 as some limescale etc but still good. Location is the best part, 1 mins away from the port. Overall I would recommend!

The hotel was in a great location and had friendly staff there just seemed to be a drainage issue downstairs which stunk out the room and the rooms don’t have windows that can open. Once we changed rooms to upstairs it was fine.

The Marc hotel is somewhat of a huge let down. We arrived days before and stayed at another hotel (Persona), and walked over to speak to the front desk the day before our booking. The staff confirmed that we would have our room ready at a certain time. We showed up to be told that it would be hours - and our entire day was planned around getting in when they said we could.

The room was small and cramped. The pool is basically useless - there's room for 3 people max on the pool deck. The food was blah. The staff wasn't great. Upon checkout we informed them that we broke a glass. A small water cup that they dangle on a small shelf in the middle of the room. Instead of being like any normal hotel - they ran around asking people how much to charge us. And finally came up with an arbitrary number that they decided was worth it (oh and it had to be cash). That number was $100,000 rp. $10 for a small cup?!? This was just the icing on the cake for this hotel that advertises itself as a luxury hotel - but the cheaper rooms down the street at Persona blew this place out of the water.

The room decor and outward aesthetic of the hotel is beautiful. The restaurant service and food were really good. We enjoyed the live music at night and the ambience of the hotel.

Our room however, was disappointing. There was only one robe and I found the other crumbled in the storage bin over the rack. The smell of the room was abhorrent... like sewer and rotten eggs, which flowed both from the toilet area and the ac unit. We had to turn it off just to stop the smell from over powering us. Luckily, we spent most of our day and evening outside, but had to stay in a warm room to avoid the smell. This was room 115 and should be out of order. Also, I understand that we are on an island but the sink water is salt water. Is there no water filtration system on the island that provides sink and bathing water that is not from the ocean?

Like the room design and there's a lot of restaurants and bars near by and also convenient store like 2 mins away, considered a good location for me. But the room smell like Urine and the cleanliness are bad... the cups and kettle was used when i checked in. For food not bad , still acceptable. Staff is friendly

No hot water. While this is fine during the day time since it is hot, during the night time I was freezing.
No A/C. The A/C in my room was messed up. Every time I turned it on, a sewage smell came out of it.
Terrible WiFi. You have to sign in again like every 30 minutes.
Horrible food selection. The breakfast options are extremely limited. The cocktails tasted horrible.
Hard to communicate. Most of the employees did not understand or speak English well. It made it very difficult to communicate with them.
The hotel has a good location and a nice pool, but that’s about it.

Couldn’t of had a more enjoyable and comfortable stay at Marc Hotel. Stylish rooms and very spacious. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food is top notch and reasonably priced. Only criticism I would say is they could put a few sun loungers on the decking area by the pool and on the artificial grass. But apart from that we had a lovely stay here. And would most definitely return if we were to come back to Gili T.

Cleanest hotel in Gili T

We loved this place. Our room was cleaned perfectly every single day. They upgraded us for free when we arrived. The room itself was beautiful (the chamberlain), though there isn’t a view. We were given a lot of notice about the construction but we weren’t bothered by it at all. The location is the most convenient on the island, right in the middle of all the restaurants and shops on the main strip. The breakfast options were good, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The infinity pool is gorgeous as well, and the seating in the reception and bar area is really cozy. The wifi wasn’t the best, but that’s really the only negative we found.

Marc Hotel definitely has a lot of things going for it: comfy beds, modern and clean rooms, and it is in a decent location if you want to be in amongst the lion's share of the late night Gili T restaurant and bar scene.

On arrival at the hotel, we were told we would have to wait an hour for check in given that we were early, which was fine. We decided to check out the pool and go for a swim until we saw it. I would guess the pool hadn't been cleaned in weeks. It looks beautiful on pictures but up close it is very murky, and there is nowhere to sit around it, other than the restaurant chairs.

My other main grumbles with this hotel were that our towels were not changed, even after requesting them to be at reception. In addition, the dry cleaning service offered by the hotel returned our clothes still damp, smelling worse than when we dropped them off. We were told we would not have to pay for the dry cleaning after complaining but we were left to travel with damp clothes in our suitcases.

A few of the members of staff were very friendly, and overall the hotel has potential to be fantastic.

Pool for swimming but no relaxation area in hotel.you have to walk through restaurant to get to pool. Not well thought out. Room very nice but no where to dry swimwear etc. No outside space e.g. balcony. Still building and finishing rooms on other floors. Internet very intermittent

Beautiful hotel!

Beautiful, beautiful hotel with very clean rooms. No complaints at all expect that the rooms under the lobby area are very noisy. You can hear the chairs being moved along the floor very early hours of the morning. And the music playing very late at night. I stayed in room 137 and it was right next to the staircase which was often very noisy as well with the door slamming as people walked up and down. Made it really hard to get a good night sleep in this location. However I would stay again and request a different location in the hotel. Very nice staff! Making renovations to the pool area which will look very nice!!

New and very nice hotel but terrible service

We stayed here two nights, the first night check in was difficult considering staff spoke minimal english. The room is very nice and spacious but there was terrible smell. We advised reception and they agreed to fix it when we returned. When we got back to the hotel the smell worsened and there was no one at reception. We were forced to sleep through it, when in the morning it wss Unbearable we had to evacuate. There is something wrong with their sewerage. We complained once again and were offered a new room but not till 2pm. So we were left roomless with a poor night sleep. I had to fight my way through the staff members who happened to find us a free room. Yet we realised they checked someone in to our previous bedroom.
secondly, whe tried using the pool, we asked for pool towels and it took staff 40 minutes to reply with sorry, we have none. Pretty poor form, the hotel need major service improvement

Dejligt sted placeret i midten af alt. Værelset en smule slidt og placeret i kælderen, så udsigten fra værelset var direkte ud til en væg. Mit værelse havde desværre også en masse fluer, hvilket var lidt ulækkert, og morgenmaden var ikke den bedste. Men ellers meget tilfreds og vil anbefale stedet til nogle få overnatninger, som jeg havde

Die Unterkunft war Fussläufig erreichbar, also nur 2 min. vom Hafen. Obwohl es eine belebte Straße ist, war es nachts in den Räumen sehr ruhig und angenehm. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend.
