Great location and a really lovely hotel. We stayed in Room 16, which overlooks the courtyard and has a beautiful view of the Citadel of Rocamadour, especially at night when it’s all lit up.

Dropping our bags off was very straightforward thanks to the hotel’s drop-off point, and we were lucky enough to find parking on the nearby street. The steps leading back up to the hotel were easy enough to manage.

The only slight downside was the pillows, which were a little on the lumpy side. Aside from that, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable — right in the middle of the medieval city and just below the Sanctuary. It’s perfect for exploring Rocamadour on foot. The hotel feels new and modern inside, even though it’s set in such a historic area. My room was spacious, very clean, and had a comfortable bed, a sofa bed, and a modern bathroom.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet (18 euros) was excellent — plenty of choice and good quality. I was also able to park just outside the city gate, about 200 meters from the hotel, for €6.50 overnight and then I had the perfect parking spot for the next day, which was very convenient.

It was the perfect place to stay for one night so I could enjoy Rocamadour early in the morning before the tourists arrived. The only small downside was the hair dryer — one of those typical weak hotel ones that take forever to dry your hair. Also, the town is very quiet after 7 p.m. (I was there on a Wednesday in late October), with most places closed, including restaurants. Even though the hotel’s restaurant is open, the kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m., and there weren’t many people around, so the atmosphere felt a bit dull. I ended up having dinner at the restaurant just outside the city gate, which was the only lively place that evening.

Hotel Beau Site was lovely and comfortable, and we had an excellent dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Be warned you must park a bit downhill from the hotel, but if you are mobile it’s no problem. A very special spot.

Poor welcome, the key of our room was later given to another guest in error and one of our bags had disappeared, moved to the other guest’s room, then recovered upon our claim, depressing room that one category below to the category that I booked and paid for - no partial refund was made. The owner understood all the issues, apologized and was nice enough to give us a few goodies, that were not necessarily items that we like, but the gesture was appreciated.

Rocamadour is an amazing place and been able to stay in the middle of the town was a plus. The hotel and the restaurant are very well located. Is a little bit stressful getting there by car but if you booked the parking in advance is perfect.

The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Rocamadour. It is clean and quiet. The room was very nice but the air con wasn’t great, the Wi-Fi was pretty poor and it could have done with a fridge even for a standard room. They offer a buffet breakfast in the main restaurant just across the road or some very good options in their pretty bar area, next to the restaurant. Overall, a good hotel.

It was a bit challenging to find parking, but I was fortunate to find a space not too far away. I would recommend reserving a parking spot just in case.

Charming Historic Hotel

Hotel Beau Site Notre Dame is a beautiful historic building full of charm. The entrance and reception area are particularly striking – the grand staircase is a real showstopper and gives the hotel a memorable, elegant feel from the moment you walk in.

The room itself was lovely – spacious enough, with a large, comfortable bed and a sense of quality throughout. It’s a great space to relax after a day of exploring.

That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. The curtains in the bedroom are very thin and let in a lot of early morning light – thicker, blackout-lined curtains would be a big plus. The hairdryer in the bathroom was also underpowered and not really usable – a better-quality one or a standalone option in the room would be a welcome upgrade. It would also be nice if the bathroom amenities included conditioner alongside the shampoo, which would add an extra thoughtful touch.

Another thing to note is the TV – while it does have Netflix and YouTube options, they’re unfortunately blocked when you try to use them, so they’re not actually accessible.

Parking can be tricky. The hotel has a few spaces just around the corner, but these fill up fast. If you miss out, you may have to park quite a distance away – in my case, it was about a 20-minute walk including steps and hills. This can be particularly awkward with luggage or mobility concerns. On the plus side, you can drop bags off at the entrance for 15 minutes, which is helpful, though it does mean driving

This is the besr three star hotel we have ever stayed with a five star kitchen and location. If you want to get the best from Rocamadour you should come directly to the lower part closer to the dinner time. The crowd desapears after dinner and you may finyourself litterally alone on the street and the cathedral.

Parking could be be a problem in July and August but we were there in May and all was ok. 20min parking in front of hotel to leave luggage. It's an adventure passing through the arches of the walking part of the city. Did it 4 times in 2 days... More and more fun!

Situated at the center of Rocamadour we had a room across the street from reception on the 1 stage facing the cliffs for a lovely view. We did not hear any restaurant noise and the restaurant and cafe were lovely and convenient although the food at the restaurant was a disappointment. A limited and typical selection. The sauces were too salty for
My taste and the meat was a bit sry. More like 2 stars.

Parking is a bit of a mission... not different but just confusing logistically until you figure out the layout. I misunderstood and thought breaking was included but it wasn't. A pleasant stay in the heart of Rocamadour

Beautiful view from our standard room and a very comfortable bed. We slept very well. As we were on the first floor we could hear some drunk young people speaking loud outside at night, but not the hotel's fault - we were just unlucky! The parking is not directly in front of the hotel, but it was not a problem as it's only a few meters down the road and actually preferable as you don't want to drive on the tiny and main road overwhelmed with tourists. Also, don't forget (because we did forget and only realised on our second day) they give access to the pool at another hotel nearby, it was very nice to relax there after a day of hiking in Les Causses du Quercy! Breakfast was generous, the scrambled eggs were too salty but the rest of the many options were tasty and of quality. We would recommend maybe changing sometimes the type of cakes offered, to add more variety when guests stay more than two nights, why not offering, for instance, local specialties like walnut cake? The dinner we had was very tasty on their beautiful terrace.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the village, right next to the ascenseur. Bed is very comfortable, bedroom is very spacious. Air conditioning was very nice as there was a heatwave when we were there. Bathroom is spacious and with a bathtub which I was able to use after a long day of walking around. Note that if you are staying here or anywhere inside the old town be aware that you have to park in one of the offsite village parking lots so you'd have to carry your luggage. When we stayed in Rocamadour it happened to be tour de France so there were road closures into town and we could only park in P2 next to the chateau, which means we had to take the lift/ascenseur all the way down to the hotel. We ended up leaving our luggages in our car and just took backpacks with us with two days worth of clothes. I would stay in this hotel again and would recommend this to anyone. It was a very comfortable stay.

Spectacular location

Lovely boutique hotel set in a spectacular location. Stylish and very comfortable room with views out to rocky cliffs. Spacious and smart bathroom and very comfortable queen size bed gave us an excellent night's sleep. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and chose the set menu, food was superb and table with a view. Altogether highly recommended and excellent value.

Excellent in every way; hotel is within the medieval gates of town and has parking literally 10 steps from the front door. The room was a nice size, very comfortable, very clean, and windows open out to the village below, yet it was quiet. The front desk staff was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Short stay in Rocamadour

The hotel has a fantastic location, with a balcony overlooking the main pedestrian street – perfect for enjoying the atmosphere. The restaurant was also very good. The building itself is old, which we didn’t mind at all, but the lobby unfortunately had a very musty smell (thankfully not in the room).

Our room was modernly renovated, with a comfortable bed and overall stylish design. The only downside was that the shower was located inside a whirlpool tub, which made it quite slippery, and the showerhead didn’t stay in place very well.

The price was on the expensive side, almost €200 per night without breakfast, which felt a bit high for what was offered.

Despite these minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay. If we return to Rocamadour, we would definitely consider staying here again.
