Room was huge and really lovely Themed rooms.
Staff couldn’t do enough for you & the garden & general hotel were really good.
Good eat as much as you want breakfast.

No tea making facilities in rooms which is a must for British travellers. That 1st cuppa.

Would not stay again

The place needs to be deep cleaned. Cobwebs in the room and in the breakfast room as well. Bathroom grout was dirty, and the mirror had a dark color on it (maybe art?), so you had a hard time to use it.
Owner has a dog which was barking late at night or early morning.
Parking is horrible! Had to unload and park around 5-minute walk away...

Wonderful hotel, warm welcome from the owner Frank and his dog on arrival. The hotel is a friendly place, the room was huge, clean, and comfortable. The continental breakfast in the morning's was plentiful. A lovely place to stay and would highly recommended the hotel to anyone. Should we go back to that part of Belgium again, I would 100% book in to the hotel without hesitation ☆☆☆☆☆

Very nice host ! Great location for formula 1 race but I would suggest getting a bike to bike in or a car. Do not take the bus as their schedule and routes often changes and it’s not convenient

Nice small hotel in a quiet town

We had the Hunting Room on the top floor. It was a lot of stairs to climb and it was a bit warm in the room at night even though it was quite cool outside in late August/early September. The host was very accommodating and breakfast was wonderful. He'd make fresh eggs and bacon as you like it and there was a nice buffet of breads, yoghurt, meats, and cheeses.

Very local to the Spa Francorchamp circuit for track day access, good local food and beer within walking distance. Also, the host was helpful and knowledgeable. Decor in the hotel is kind of french townhouse, all in all highly recommended.

Cute Hotel in Stavelot

My wife and I randomly booked this hotel in the Belgian countryside for a quite weekend getaway. Little did we know that we would witness the 515th year of the Laetare (Wallonian Carnival) where the town turns into a big party. Despite this we were able to have a very enjoyable trip with a day of relaxing and then a day of partaking in the festivities. The hotel is very nice and the owners also made sure we had a great stay. The local food and beer is of course also top notch as is the breakfast in the hotel.

Lovely BB&B

Stayed for the Spa GP. Arrived v late but host kindly stayed up to let me in. Unique rooms with lots of character. V hot weekend but fantastic fan kept the room cool at night. glorious countryside and lovely house and garden and walking distance to a number of restaurants for dinner.

Var meget skuffet over at der ikke var parkering. Der stod parkering muligt, men vi skulle gå et godt stykke for det. Efter opholdet opkræver de pludseligt flere penge pga Spa 24 timer, synes det er højst uacceptabelt. Kan man ikke længe stole på hvad man booker!

Ældre herskabsvilla, godt værtsskab

Hyggelig gammel, noget slidt, herskabsvilla i byens udkant, ombygget til indkvartering i de højloftede stuer med antikke møbler. Meget venlige, imødekommende værter og fin, personlig morgenmad. Parkering i nærheden lidt præget af dagligt held eller uheld.

Ein außergewöhnliches Hotel mit Charme, aber leider auch ein paar negativen Aspekten. Mein Zimmer war teils sehr staubig und extrem hellhörig. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber für das Omelett wurde beim Checkout ein hoher Aufpreis verlangt, welcher vorher nicht erwähnt wurde. Das finde ich etwas schade, wenn man inklusive Frühstück bucht.

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig gelegen und es ist ein sehr herzlicher Empfang.Man schläft tief und fest und kann sich auf ein exclusives Frühstück in einem malerischen hohen Räumlich, mit Kerzenschein, des großen Hauses erfreuen: Frische Croissants, Brötchen…was das Herz begehrt. Fantastisk hus og skønne værter

Et fantastisk og autentisk gammelt hus, der oser af historie og kultur. Finurlige detaljer og skulpturer overalt sætter sit historiske præg. To søde ældre hunde og en dejlig have fuldendte de hyggelige og behagelige omgivelser. Derudover er de to værter absolut verdensklasse. Tusind tak for en fantastisk oplevelse! Kan kun anbefale! :-)

Sehr gutes Hotel, perfektes Frühstück.

Sehr gutes Hotel und gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sauber, das Badezimmer ist modern und sauber.
Man merkt das dieses Hotel mit Leidenschaft geführt wird, der Besitzer ist sehr sympathisch und zuvorkommend.
Wir werden auf jedenfall wiederkommen.

Mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviertes Hotel

Wir haben auf dem Weg zur Küste hier zwischenübernachet. Der Inhaber Ad Nagel hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns die verschiedenen Zimmer gezeigt und wir konnten auswählen und haben uns für das afrikanische entscheiden. Sehr gutes Bett, großes Badezimmer. Das Frühstück war der Hammer, es fehlte an nichts. Wir können das Hotel 100% weiterempfehlen

Un très bel hôtel dans une jolie (et calme) ville.

Pour rassembler frères et sœur dispersés aux quatre coins du monde, j'avais choisi Stavelot, son histoire, son musée, sa proximité avec le circuit de Francorchamps et les Fagnes toutes proches. L'hôtel Dufays a été le point d'orgue de ce week-end.
Seul point noir, indépendant de l'hôtel: le chahut provoqué par des voisins qui devaient avoir gardé leurs bottines de ski pour faire de la gymnastique dans leur chambre !

Gemütliches Stadthotel

Sehr netter Empfang durch den Besitzer. Unser Zimmer, das Jagdzimmer, war sehr groß und im Dachgeschoss gelegen. Leider fehlt im Bad eine Dusche oder zumindest ein Vorhang an der Badewanne, was die morgendliche Dusche etwas kompliziert machte. Reichhaltiges Frühstück im sehr gemütlichen Frühstücksraum mit Gartenblick (zu empfehlen sind die Spiegel- oder Rühreier, die frisch und sehr appetitlich zubereitet werden). Alles in allem sehr schöne 3 Tage...

Mooi en 'kasteel-achtig' hotel, vlak bij de weg maar zonder er last van te hebben, mooi uitzicht, vriendelijke ontvangst.
