I don’t usually write bad feedback
But this place is run down, ripped curtains full ashtrays outside every room
The grounds are not maintained
The worse thing was the staff Spitting
Everywhere , pretty disgusting
We stayed 2 nights only because I had paid as the property looked beautiful on the website
I asked for some clean towels
They gave me 1
What the heck
Sorry but this place has gone to the pack

Really inappropriate to check in with some guy at reception with filthy clothes and his hoodie pulled up over his head. Gave this place a real dodgy feel so we didn’t end up staying here.

Room etc was fine; clean, comfortable bed, good heating - but the wifi is AWFUL - unreliable, cutting out constantly,; virtually unusable. Needs to be upgraded, then it would be an excellent place to stay.

It was listed as having spa bath and photographed but it did not. There was ants thru dining and kitchen area, crumbs between couch cushions and towels that were worn with frayed edges. Location was great. We ended up checking out a day earlier

Booked 2 rooms, arrived very early and was able to check in which was great, lovely service, front room by road very noisy could do with double glazing second room further down complex was good, lovely weather 28* being out all day and not being able to leave air con on was like walking into an oven at 8 pm , as they have glued key rings so you can't leave the plastic piece plugged in, small air con unit took a couple hours on max to cool down, close to bars and restaurants just 500meters away, all and all good.

Fuctional room. Good space for a family. The outdoor furniture is badly rusted so of no use. Oven top itself was clean but area under the elements (tinfoil)! was dirty. I pointed this out to management at check out. I have encountered a few odd things while on holidays but never that.

I guess though not bad for the price, however in saying that Teavel lodge in Wellington only 107 a night at the current time.

Okay for a couple of nights.

A large spacious unit with walk in shower. Excellent shower. Good pressure and plenty of hot water.

Bathroom although clean looks like it could do with an upgrade.

Pillows were rather flat and I ended up using a spare blanket under mine to get some elevation for sleeping.

I’ve stayed at several well-known hotels in Masterton and this one is by far the best!!!

On arrival I was warmly greeted & then shown my room, which was the cleanest and most comfortable room I’ve stayed in.

Thank you for the decent amount of milk too … those little pods are ridiculous lol

We had a lovely room, set out nicely.
On arrival, we were shown to our room, by the pleasant receptionist, and the television set up, internet and power were all explained.

I could not fault the room or staff friendliness, the only let down was as we were packing the car to leave, a strong odour of cigarette smoke lingered outside the staffroom? The smoke smell also entered our room.
Otherwise everything was great and we would go back.

Great Experience From The Start

We arrived late at 11:30pm and was surprised to be personally greeted at the door and shown around the unit. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in . The kitchen was well equipped and the unit we were in had a magnificent deck looking out to the park. Service was great and personal. The entire experience we had here was excellent and I'd definitely stay here again when in Masteron.
