Our party stayed at the Haeundae Toyu Ryokan Hotel for five nights in the Premiere Twin Room, which had two full beds and comfortably accommodated four adults. We arrived past midnight, but were still greeted by a very friendly person at the front desk named Chris, who helped us check in, provided us with information about our stay, and gave us goodie bags filled with Korean snacks. He was very attentive to our needs and helped us carry our luggage to the second floor. (The hotel does not have an elevator.) He also checked in on us throughout our stay, making sure we took advantage of the free breakfast and lunch (this depends on when you stay and what specials they are running).
The room was just what we needed. We had plenty of space, though it was a bit weird to have a fairly clear door on the shower. There was also a large tub in the main part of the room that we did not use and took up a large portion of the floor. There were only a handful of outlets, so bring an adapter that contains multiple plugs! The AC unit was powerful and kept the room nice and cool. The hotel is also very environmentally conscious and will only come to make up the room if you indicate you need it by leaving a sign outside your door. Everyone we spoke to was very polite and used an app to translate if needed. The hotel's location was very convenient—only a few blocks from the beach (less than a 10-minute walk) and close to plenty of restaurants and shops. We would highly recommend this hotel!
