No A/C in Hot Room

Location was very convenient to the beach, the market, the strip and the Tesla SuperCharger station. Overall the stay was OK.Very efficient he kin and courteous staff. The property room looked much better in the picture. The furniture could use an update a long time ago.dust behind dressers, cracks along the tub, and outdated a/c system. It got hot in the room even with the heater off and reported the front desk. They could not turn on the a/c and asked me to open the windows at night. Could not do that either because the Air Quality Index was really bad. So we had a quite uncomfortable night sleep. Would not stay here again even for the low nightly rates.

Much better second time around

This is my second stay at this hotel and I'm glad to say that the room was in much better condition than the previous room. The last room had some large gaps in the shower tub where water would get behind and some of the fixtures were loose and very worn. This room was still dated, but was in much better condition overall. Still not thrilled about the very expensive breakfast for what you get but there is plenty of other places to eat at including a very convenient Marketplace in Save Zone. There is also an excellent Thai massage right across the street.

Great place.. but some cosmetic distactions

I really wanted to give very high feedback for this hotel, but unfortunately there were things not par with other hotels. First of all, I did enjoy my stay at the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly. I would certainly stay there again.

My observations:
1) the room was very hot, particularly at night. There's a thermostat on the wall that didn't seem to do anything. The blower fan speed was on a separate console in the nightstand. I did not immediately locate it. There is a separate hidden module in the closet and I brought that down to about 20 degrees but the room would still not cool. The thermostat was reading 25 and 26 degrees Celsius which is rather warm. I ended up opening the windows to let the cool air in but also the sounds of the city too, which wasn't entirely bad but not ideal for sleeping.

2) the lock on the deadbolt would not turn I had to slowly turn the knob in order to get it to lock. It feels like the mechanism inside is stripped or worn off. This is clearly a maintenance issue.

3) the bathroom shower is need of calking. there was large gap between the tub and the wall. Water leaking inside the wall can cause all kinds of mold problems. I

This is an old hotel with a new name. My non-smoking room smelled of smoke on the second day. They said they couldn't change the room because they said the hotel was full; it wasn't. There were flies in the room from the drain in the bathroom. There was mold in the ceiling in the bathroom. There were holes in the sheets. Stay somewhere else.

The Hotel is pretty old.

The hotel is pretty old. Need to update some of furniture. It is located top of the shopping mall. The wifi signal is so weak could not able to use at all. in addition, the bed is too firm.

Nice hotel a block from the beach

It was WAYYYY nicer than I expected, especially for the price. There was a western bathroom!! With a bathtub!!! Those are so hard to find in Korea! It was a really large room. There's a balcony. The lobby us on the 9th floor and floors 10 and up are rooms with balconies and great views

Sleepless & extremely upset overseas

It turns out that no one knew there was loud and aggravating and annoying construction going on onsite. When I contacted hotels.com their attitude was basically, \"sorry~\". I was very very disappointed in hotels.com for not reaching out to me. It was a horrible terrible experience.

Feeling hot when came back to hotel. You have to ask for a fan when you feel hot. Hot water supply was not sufficient at night. Hotel's safety is also an issue as the lift can direct access to guest room on the ground floor and the front desk is on the 9th floor.

Good location but outdated.

Located right next to the beach (2 minute walk). But the facilities is outdated. The mini bar items are pathetic; there are so many convenient stores in nearby neighbor BUT they still charge you for their items. And they cannot even have all items available, we have to let the front desk know items missing to make sure we don't get scam for. The balcony is a good lookout but only 5 degree of vantage point to the beach since most frontage are blocked by other taller building. But the size of the room was pretty good.

For the first time staying in hotel, we had to beg for more AirCon. This hotel has a control of AC. Even if there is a temperature control in the room, hotel has the \"ultimate control\" of the room AC. Depending on the number of guest of the room, gender and nationality, it seemed like that they decided how much AC you need. Can you believe it? My huz was at the front desk waiting for some help and a Chinese lady came to the front desk also to beg for more AC. After she left, the staff called the control room saying \"One person, Chinese, woman\". No matter how convenient the location is, we'll never go back.

Disappointing hotel

The lights have no central control. The AC has no remote control. The first room I got smelled of cigarettes. I called the clerk. He gave me an odd face and then agreed to switch to another room. The next room smelled only of dust, but it was much better. The minibar offers you two bottles of water for free every day. Since it was among the rest of the expensive stuff, I realized those bottles were free only after 2 days. I wanted to store some stuff in the refrigerator, and it was full of leaking water and almost no space was left for me. The stuff barely knows English, and wasn't to much of help when I asked what should I do in Busan. The keys are actually... keys (not a card).

Was not impressed at all with this hotel! I arrived around midday and asked about possibility of early check in as I had meetings all day. Was told definitely not as no rooms available, despite being one hour after check out. When I asked if there was ANYTHING I could have just to change clothes they offered a tiny toilet cubicle. Needless to say I looked like I had slept in a suitcase all day. The following day I met a colleague and asked if we could use the meeting room. We were told no as it was closed. We asked if we could pay to use it. They said no as it was closed. Could we sit in the restaurant which was closed just for an hour or so. Not allowed. Is there a bar? No but I can go to a cafe across the seat! Very helpful. Rooms are tired, dated and shabby. Breakfast was VERY expensive and unpleasant even with a hangover. All in all avoid like the plague! Oh plus side is it is a short walk from a very pleasant beach where there are lots of very nice hotels.

Pretty close to the beach, over a shopping center, lots of eateries around. Try to get a room on the ocean side (which you will only see through the other buildings, but it's still a nice view) and relax on the balcony.

It was pretty nice, the staff was friendly and the room was a decent size, and very clean. From the balcony you could see the beach, and at night we saw some fireworks. The wifi in the room was pretty good, and the tv was updated, it was bigger than we expected. The lobby had adaptors that we could borrow, and it was perfect. I would stay again if we came back to Busan.

Great Location but overrated and dissapointing

Hotel Riveria is in a great location to food, movies, the beach and shopping. However, the wifi is subpar and barely works at times, the shower is small and outdated, my bed had bed bugs with someone elses hair in the sheets, i noticed old blood on one of the towels and on the comforter, the room doesn't come with a microwave or iron and you have to request for an iron and take your food down to the lobby to microwave. The menu for food on room service is very limited and the room is outdated with a tv that you can't buy in stores anymore. The beds stated two double beds online which are usually two full size beds but they were only twin size mattresses another disappointment. Overall on a 1 to 5, I give this hotel a 2.5 only because of the location which is awesome a mall is literally a 45 sec walk to include about 20 restaurants not to mention the hotel is on top of other restaurants and a shopping center but for the price of $118 a night had I known i would've just spent $150 to rest and relax in a clean enviroment with more efficient internet.

The room was clean. There was a tub. Small TV. Mountain view is better than ocean view, because there are too many other hotels between ocean and this hotel. Location was good, though, because it is an easy walk to the main transit street where the Pusan city tour bus stops, but also only a short walk to the beach. The staff seemed to speak English well, though I used Korean. Skip the \"American Breakfast\", if possible. (Not worth it.) Overall it was comfortable.

Overall pretty good stay in the hotel though quite old but room is still clean and comfort. Good location I between the subway station and to the beach just 3-5 min walk. Lot of eateries around and easy to get around by subway, bus or train.

Was a great location, a five minute walk to the subway or beach. Rooms were a little older but it didn't really matter, it's hard to get a nice soft bed like Riviera has in Korea. Only thing that wasn't nice was the restaurant... Buffet breakfast barely had anything on it. If I go to busan again I'd still stay here though

Brief Busan Bio

This was a decent hotel, right in the heart of the \"Beach Area\" of Busan. A few things were a bit worn, but it was clean, and the hotel staff were great. It's one of the taller hotels within a few blocks, so the view is pretty good as well.

In terms of location, it's within walking distance to many of Busan's attractions. There's a good market street nearby as well, and the bus lines and subway lines aren't far off.

My teenage son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in July 2010. The hotel is located 10 mins from Haeundae station and 5 mins from the beach and it's local market. The area is clean and surrounded by many eateries catering for both western and asian taste. Despite what you read about haeundae being expensive we found many places offering quality tasty food for just a fraction of what you'd pay for else where.
Our room was clean and reasonably spacious with a balcony over looking the mountains. The double sliding doors kept the noises out and the heat. We were delighted with the value of the hotel as the others on the ocean strip were quite expensive.
As a mother and a young son traveling together, I felt quite safe walking around the night on the beach and catching the metro to other sights. The area is family oriented and is popular with locals and tourists . Having said that, some might find the entry to the hotel a little concerning as it is situated at the back of the department store.
As far as service was concerned I found the staff at the front desk polite and willing to help. Unfortunately, there was an occasion where they could have gone that little further but hadn't. Overall, I was very pleased with our hotel and we'll definitely stay there again if we ever have the chance to visit Busan again.

どんなに新しくて綺麗なホテルより
バルコニーがあってエレベーターは直ぐ来るし
お土産はホテルの下のマーケットがディスカウントスーパーで安く　駅近で温泉にも市場にも近く
居心地がいいです。また必ず近いうちに伺います

飯店大廳在9樓，樓下是服飾商場、B1有超市，熟食區賣的小菜好吃，購物很方便。從海雲台地鐵站出來後直走，看到漢堡王左轉進去，就能看到飯店招牌，那個玻璃門24小時開啟，其它１樓商場的門晚上會鎖起來。
我們的房間被安排在15樓，很幸運的可以提早入住，退房時也可免費寄放行李，住宿三晚遇到的工作人員都很有禮貌。
房間裝潢較老派，可以看出很有年代感，椅子、立燈、陽台有些損壞也都沒修繕，但衛浴設備、床舖、冰箱、化妝桌等維護的很好，廁所管線也沒異味，應該有定期更新，每天房務都會清潔，也會補上２瓶水，房價比周遭住宿便宜，陽台可看到一角的海灘，有化妝鏡也有大面全身鏡，廁所的鏡子也很大!
對於早出晚歸，只想要乾淨住宿的旅人，這裡是CP值很高的好選擇！

要特別注意：牙刷牙膏必須另外付費，有寫在mini bar的收費清單上。

広くてバルコニーのあるホテル

以前から何度も利用させていただいています。
コロナ前に比べると周りに高いビルがたくさん出来ましたがビーチにも近く駅にも近く温泉センターも市場も全部ちかいので気に入っています。年期ははいっていますがエレベーターは直ぐ来るしとても快適に過ごしました。コスパ最高です。

호텔이 오래되서 청결해보이지 않는 부분이있었지만
원래 예정된 체크인 시간보다도 일찍 해주신 점과 주변에 해운대시장부터 먹거리는 아주 좋았습니다.

편안하게 하루 묵고 갑니다.

숙소 청결도가 좋습니다. 서비스도 좋구요. 위치도 해운대 앞이라 정말 좋아요! 다만 주차장 이용후 캐리어를 옮길때 다시 1층으로 가 호텔 전용 엘레베이터를 타야합니다.
캐리어가 무거우면 조금 불편하실 수 있으니 이점 참고하시면 좋을듯 합니다. 편안하게 하루 묵고 갑니다!

장점 : 위치 좋음, 직원 친절함, 저렴함, 주차편리함
단점 : 그 외 전부

오래된 호텔의 특유의 냄새가 매우 심함
강제 환기 시키고 싶은데 창문 및 창문 틀, 방충망, 베란다에 먼지가 많아 열수도 없음
베란다엔 비둘기 똥들이 가득
천장 모서리 곳곳에 까만 곰팡이같은 자국이 잔뜩 있음
바닥과 벽면이 카페트인데 곳곳에 얼룩 자국 먼지
스팀이나 습식 청소기는 돌리지 않는 듯
욕실 곳곳 타일이 깨져있고 일단 보수는 해둠
욕실 리모델링은 못해도 10년은 넘은 듯한 샤워기 헤드 정도는 바꿨으면 좋겠음
벽면이나 바닥도 바꿨으면 좋겠음

오래된 호텔이란거 알고 갔습니다 호텔이 오래됐다고 문제될 건 없는데 전혀 관리가 되지 않나봐요. 너무너무 더러워서 3일동안 호텔에 있는 시간을 최대한 줄였어요. 욕실 타일과 욕조에 낀 물때,곰팡이 천장에 언제 붙었는지 모르는 벌레 죽은 것들과 딱 붙어 떨어지지 않는 털들까지 아무리 관리가 안된다지만 어디 시골 모텔도 이것보단 깨끗할거 같아요. 외출하면서 청소하는 분께 청소좀 깨끗하게 해달라고 부탁하니 본인은 알바라며 퉁명스럽게 대답하더군요. 알바는 청소를 대충해도 되나봐요? 곰팡이 냄새에 환기좀 시킬려고 창문 여니 방충망에 하얗게낀 먼지가 날아다녀서 다시 창문 닫아야 했고요.
호텔의 위치가 너무 좋은데도 불구하고 다신 못갈거 같아요. 다른건 몰라도 청소는 좀 깨끗하게 해주세요

만족함.

다른 분들 후기와 같이 낡긴 했으나(키가 열쇠), 해수욕장과의 거리등을 감안하면 좋은 편입니다.
단, 침구에 핏자국등이 있는데 세탁이 제대로 된건지는 좀 의문이네요.
칫솔 등 1회용품을 사야하는 부분도 조금 아쉽네요. 호텔이긴 한가봅니다.
성수기라 가격이 사악해져서 투숙에 그렇지 만족합니다.

해운대거리에 먹자며 놀거리즐길거리가바로코앞에있음. 베란다문닫으면 안들림. 티비와냉장고엄청작지만 사용하지않을거라 괜찮은데 열쇠키인거보고 놀램.
화장실보고 크게놀램. 변기물 꾸~욱눌러야내려가고 샤워기보고 샤워하기싫어서2박3일중 한번함.

Room lighting too dark.

Great value for money! The only pity is that the indoor lighting is dim and not bright enough, even if all the lights are turned on, it is still not bright enough.

다시 갈지 모를 숙소

시설이 오래되서 복도에서 오래된 카펫 냄새가 납니다.
내부도 오래되서 균열도 있고 낡았습니다.
수압도 약한 편이고 방음도 잘 안됩니다.
해운대라서 새벽까지 시끄럽고 옆집소리도 새벽에 들렸다.

모든 것을 뒤로하고 해운대에 가깝고 저렴한가격이 모든걸 감안하게 됩니다.
그래도 다시 갈진 모르겠네요.
