Fantastic location. 10 to 15 min walk to MRT red line. (1 stop to KHH airport). Plenty of food within walking distance. Breakfast decent and staff very friendly and helpful. KHH airport shuttle only for morning, and reservations needed. Basic room small but very functional for one person. Great location for flying in/out of KHH airport.

Decent hotel near airport

The room is dark with a useless window as there is no view. Breakfast almost the same every day. Many food eateries nearby. The card holder for power which is no longer in use was not removed and the blue flashing warning light becomes very bright when sleeping with lights off. Air conditioning not well circulating. Odorous in the drainage system. This hotel not recommended for holidaymakers.

We arrived after midnight staying overnight to catch a flight next day. Check in was smooth. Breakfast was a surprise. It provided all the essentials for a quick working man’s breakfast. Dining area was clean and well stocked. Only complaint I have was a funky smell in the room which I can’t figure out until this day. This hotel provides a good value for the money if you are looking for a good night’s rest and close to the airport.

Great Value

Free shuttle from airport, went to information desk, they called the hotel and car came in 10 minutes. Staff very efficient. I had a short stay when making an overnight flight connection. Room was ideal for that purpose. No complaints for the price. Did see a lot of stores nearby, finding a restaurant nearby should be easy.

My experience in Riverside Hotel international

The hotel services in general is good. But the room had a smell of cigarette which I suppose was because someone smoked in the room before even though it was supposed a non-smoking room. And the acoustic in the room is not so good. During my stay, lots of guests talked in the corridor and I can hear it very loudly in my room. It woke me up when I was sleeping.

I booked this hotel because of the airport shuttle and also free breakfast. Normally I’d be staying at a nice hostel to save money. Little did I know, they start the shuttle at 7am and front desk forgot to give me my doggy bag of packed breakfast! My flight was earlier than that so I had to take a cab and also buy food so I ended up wasting more money.

The room is clean and tidy, however the air con couldn't be adjusted and the blanket is not warm, (in my friend's twin room, the blanket was a bit too short), it is not thick enough to stand the cold air blowing out on top of my bed, need to put on a scarf to cover my head. For such cheap price, it is acceptable though. The food is okay, been staying in the hotel for a few times, very close to airport and with free transport, okay as a choice of transit to elsewhere.

A satisfying hotel stay

Room is clean but don't like the pungent smell of the air freshener in the lift and reception area. Was satisfied with the quality of service especially the housekeeping team. They left bottle water and other amenities outside our room every day. (We requested our room to be undisturbed while we are away) The location is suitable for my purpose of visiting Kaoshiung and I love the free shuttle to airport and MRT station. The complimentary buffet breakfast is also much appreciated as it added convenience to our stay.

Clean, friendly hotel.

Free Parking just by the corner, if you drove a car here it would be convenient.
The first room I got had a smoking smell, the clerk didn't hesitate a second and got me a new room, and he went upstairs with me to make sure the new room have no strange smells. That's really sweet.

They supply shuttle survice. it's very near to the Kaohsiung International Airport. So even if you leave or arrive at night (12:00 am - 7:00 am), it's very cheap to take a taxi.
The room was a little bit not very tidy, I don't know if it is the reason that I booked a discount room.

Nice hotel close to airport

We arrived to Kaohsiung late at night. Got picked up by hotel shuttle at no extra fee. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast buffet was ok. We would definitely stay there again, but only if we are using the international airport next to the hotel. Otherwise it's a bit far from main part of town.

The staffs are nice and they are informative. Free shuttle service provides from airport to hotel even your flight is at late evening, and they can response quickly to your pick-up offer. There is also free shuttle service from hotel to the metro.

Gimmicks of Free Breakfast and Airport Shuttle

It was a very bad experience. The hotel said breakfast was included in my room rate; however, they started offering breakfast at 6:30 am, but I had to check out early to go to the airport. They told me they could do nothing about that. In other words, it was totally my own loss, no ways of compensation from them. Besides, the hotel only provides shuttle to the airport starting from 7 am. Therefore, if you are going to the airport to catch your planes before then, figure out your own way. Two big-time gimmicks of services they claim they can provide, but you will never get. Also, the room I stayed was filled with the smell of cigarette smoke. I will never stay in this place again.

The mrt and if your traveling light walking distance to the airport, 10-15 min walk. The staff were great and spoke enough english to help me with what ever I needed. I stayed in a single room. It was small but adequate and very clean. I would stay again for sure.

1st room is a double bed. clean but the toilet smells like shxt after flush. Bed is tidy, clean but uncomfortable. Overall :4/10

Nice hotel at affordable pricing. Language a problem as the staff barely understands English. Breakfast nice and good spread. Great restaurants in the immediate are within walking distance. Although the hotel advertises free transport to and from the airport, they only picked me up for free. When I asked for a drop off at the airport they wanted to charge me TWD840 for the 3km trip. I made alternative arrangements.

Manager were hiding, Wifi doesn't work for a day

Wifi network problem:
I especially looked for a hotel with free wifi to stay. Once I checked in my room in the afternoon, the wifi network doesn't work. The staff in phone told me that the wifi network were \"temperately\" malfunction. The technician were working on it. After their \"working on it\" till the other day in the morning, I still can't use the wifi network.

Hot shower problem:
Before I left the hotel going for another trip, I would like to take a hot shower. But... the water was cold....... I called to the lobby, the staff told me that the hot water system has some problem this morning.... When I checked out that morning, I asked to talk to the manager. The staff said that the manager was not here and told me that if I have any opinion, I can write a note and they will pass it to the manager.

Manager were hiding somewhere when their hotel have wifi and hot shower problem.

My boyfriend and I stayed here the night before an early flight to from Kaohsiung airport. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfy and the hotel is very convenient for the airport. It's a bit far away from the main attractions of Kaohsiung but I highly recommend it for anyone who need somewhere to stay either side of a flight at an awkward time.

Great location for In/Out of KHH Airport

Due to an American airline's sudden cancellation of their HNL to TPE route, we had to make last minute air transportation changes to salvage our visit to Taiwan. We ended up by flying into KHH from HKG, but as the flight's ETA into KHH was to be 2330, we decided to stay at an airport hotel for the night of arrival. Riverside Hotel Intl. fits the bill as a small, intimate efficiency hotel quite nicely. Please be advised that there are no closet in the rooms (just hangers) but there are laundry machines off the lobby for free use. The dinning room is simply designed yet somehow elegant...and the Green Onion Cake served during breakfast was one of the best we've had. While we did not call them for a pickup from the airport (we took a taxi to the hotel) one of the young staff members drove us to the airport the next day. NB: Some remodeling going on thru 30APR.

We chose to stay here because the hotel was close to the Airport. The lobby was decorated nicely, and the staff was very nice the entire time. The room was a fair size, though the bathroom was a bit smaller than I'm use to. The room and restroom were both very clean. The showers water pressure felt amazing, but the temperature of the water varied quite a bit throughout my shower. Two bottles of complementary water, and two little cans of coke were in our room. We booked though Hotels.com and received breakfast with our stay. The selection for breakfast is a mix of Chinese and Western foods (eggs, congee, etc). Overall our experience was positive, and the value for the price was great!

I enjoyed my one night's stay here. The hotel is clean, convenient for the airport and the staff are friendly. I asked for a top-floor room and this was provided for me. Good value for money considering breakfast is included and also a complimentary shuttle service. The only negative thing was getting there by taxi (i didn't know about the hotel's free shuttle). The taxi driver from the airport was extremely rude because the hotel was so close to the airport and he told me that he wouldn't earn much money from the journey.

ダブルベッド３個の大きめの部屋に大人５人で宿泊した。
地下鉄の小港駅からは１２分ほど歩いたが、冬なので暑くないため、苦痛ではなかった。
道路は多少の凸凹はあってもスーツケースを曳くには問題なかった。

チェックインは早めにでき、フロントの人も親切で、がんばって日本語を使ってくれた。
日文版の注意点の紙を写真に撮るよういわれ、それが説明代わりである。
早朝の空港への送りは５時でお願いした（事前予約制なので要注意）。
無料朝食の代わりに、サンドイッチ、アップルジュース、リンゴのセットをもらった（高雄空港で食べた）。
ロビーに荷物用の計量器、有料の洗濯機あり。

部屋のベッドは柔らかく、すごく大きいわけではない。
２人で寝るのはややきついが、２つくっつけると寝やすくなった。
トイレ、シャワーは必要最低限の大きさで、どうにか使える。
シャンプーはリンスインシャンプーだと思われる。
セーフティーボックスなし（高雄ではそういうものかも知れない）。
無料ペットボトルあり、給水（湯）器あり、ケトルあり。
空港が近い割には部屋は静かで、ドアも分厚かった。

無料ティータイムは、スナック菓子、コーヒー、オレンジジュース、食パン、菓子パンが置かれていた。
夕食があるとのことだったが、上記のものにサンドイッチが足されていただけで、料理らしいものはなかった。

早餐很不錯，員工素質很優良，大家都很親切熱情，也非常有效率。有接駁車真的很方便，有東西忘記了也會確實電話聯絡，大廳就有電腦可以處理工作不用自己帶很方便。下次如果要再來高雄搭機會再來這裡入住。
