It was a reasonable choice for a non-touristy place. The room was sparsely decorated but clean. The breakfast was pretty basic but the staff friendly and the location was 10 minutes by bus from the train station

It's a bit far from Gangneung Station, but the nearby traditional market makes it a nice area to explore. The hotel is a bit old, but the room condition was satisfying for the price. I stayed on the 14th floor for two nights and enjoyed the open city view and the breakfast. One inconvenience was the lack of USB ports for charging, so a travel adapter is necessary.

I really liked this hotel. It is in an interesting area. The room was very spacious. It was comfortable and had good amenities. I was on a higher floor and had a good view. My only issue - and it is my issue - was the pillows. One was too low for me and two were too high. I had breakfast in the 15th floor restaurant. It was good, and the staff were kind. I would happily stay here again.

Smelly bathroom
The bathroom smelled like a dirty rag. Tried to clean it with the shower head, but smell still persisted. It’s likely due to lack of adequate venting. They only provide small towels, not the standard fully body sized hotel towels. Also, be careful when walking in the bathroom, there is no tub area so water gets everywhere and I nearly slipped on the wet tile floor. Beds are on the harder side.

It was a modern hotel in my impression. I booked in the upper floors unawaringly, so I was fortunate to have my breakfast on the top floor diner. The view was nice.

The floor of the room is a carpet, so there is a lot of dust. The furniture was black, so the white dust was more noticeable. The location of the accommodation was easy to find because it was the entrance to the city from the highway, and there were many amenities because it was in front of the city. The staff were friendly. The parking facility was a tower, but there is a parking facility across the street about 50 meters from the hotel. Breakfast is served as a semi-buffet.

Nice place if you are looking for more of a \"bare-bones\" place to stay. The room was very clean, the staff were absolutely excellent and the breakfast is decent. The location is good if you want the older downtown and market area but we found it a bit difficult to find good restaurants in the area. Hotel staff are very friendly and location is quite convenient. Room are ok and clean. Bed was not very comfortable, though, and pillows were terrible. Breakfast was not great, either. Overall, ok place to stay if you just need a place for a night. Anything more than that, and there are better options in the area at comparable rates.

Came into town on pre-Olympic business - before the crowds and hotel sell outs. Found the staff excellent - eager to help. Rooms were compact as most tourist hotels are - but spotlessly clean.
