Spectacular ocean view rooms! Generous room size and nice quiet location yet close to everywhere. Breakfast was included and food was pretty good. Gym was small but very clean with wonderful ocean views. Both indoor and outdoor pool had amazing ocean view.

I think it’s time to update some bathrooms. Some tiles were chipped and the mirror inside the shower was eroding.

It was generally clean but the housekeeping forgot to check inside the closet. There were dirty pair of socks inside the closet that looked like previous guests left behind. I called the front desk. They apologized and took the socks. It would have been nicer if the hotel offered something - a drink coupon or a glass of wine - as an apology.

The view is fantastic. Overall, the room is Very clean and well maintained. The view from the pool for sunset is top notch. However there is no service at all. No bellman to help upland and unload luggage. With the pricing tag like this, the management team needs to put the customer front and center and have an overhaul on service. Furthermore, the charge of two simple coffee is more than 20 USD. That is a rip off.

It was a lovely experience. Beautiful view, nice clean room, good quality linens and pillows, very good bathroom, kind staff, lovely reasonably priced dinner at the à la carte restaurant. Last but not least, the breathtaking architecture drove us crazy.
I would only like to mention three details:
1. The room was a bit hot. I turned the heating off but the temperature didn’t go down. We had yo open the balcony door a little.
2. Probably because of the Covid-19 restrictions and the impossibility of a buffet, the breakfast was limited.
3. Booking a room for a second stay seems impossible. Couldn’t find availabilities on several random dates I tried between now and early 2022!

Modernized with excellent view, but..

The building was fairly new and clean. Very modernized design throughout the hotel. However, there are too many older people (not even couples), especially ajoomma(women in their 40s and 50s that are loud) that came as a group. In my opinion, since hyundai renovated this building, they are giving free stays to families of board member as an incentive rather than a cash bonus. When you consider the price of the hotel room(400usd or 500,000won) the cars that are parked in the parking lot are not that high end. They do have a child care center so it would be beneficial for family with infants. The hotel breakfast was not as good as i expected for the price of what we paid for the room. Also, there were mold inside the bathroom shower which was unpleasant.

modern design hotel with fantastic view!

Stayed last month with my boyfriend for a weekend getaway, Seamarq was the only five star hotel in the area and it was new. Their modern designed lobby and rooms were stunning and absolutely beautiful. The hotel is located on Gyongpodae beach, which offers easy access to the beach and fantastic panoramic views of ocean and lake from rooms. our room was clean, quite and comfort, and the complimentary mini bar was awesome. so I was pretty satisfied with their hardware. However there were 2 things the hotel did not match my expectations which were the lack of knowledge on local information at the concierge desk and the quality of breakfast. I felt this hotel was slightly overpriced, but I would like to stay here again when i visit the area next time, because the quality of room and the views are totally worth it.

JOYCE JINSUK
