This property is situated in quiet and peaceful surrounding. Just 5km away from Railway station. Cabs are easily available and always dot on time. There are so many beautiful places around to visit. The staff was polite and always ready to help with smiling face, though language was a big problem but Google translater helped a lot to communicate with local people.For Foodies and caffe lovers it's a blessing. Minute detailing for the comfort of people is noteworthy.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. Some of our rooms were sea facing and some partially sea facing. CU store at Ground floor was added advantage. Surprisingly hot plate and some utensils were also provided. The staff was always with smiling faces, polite and helpful.. Parking space was adequate. Many restaurants and cafes nearby. Sea shore was just 200 m away. Overall it was great experience and memories of this place will linger forever. Thanks to the hotel management and especially to the staff..

This is my third visit to Gangneung, and I always choose to stay at this hotel. It offers a calm ocean view at a reasonable price. The owners are friendly and always ensure the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped—perfect for all types of travellers. There’s also a convenience store right below the hotel, making it easy to grab breakfast or a late-night snack anytime.

강릉을 세 번째 방문하면서 항상 이 호텔에 머물고 있습니다. 합리적인 가격에 잔잔한 바다 전망을 즐길 수 있어 참 좋습니다. 호텔 주인분들도 언제나 친절하시고, 시설이 깔끔하게 유지되도록 신경 써 주십니다. 객실은 넓고 쾌적하며 필요한 편의시설도 잘 갖춰져 있어 여행객 누구에게나 추천할 만합니다. 게다가 호텔 1층에 편의점이 있어 아침이나 야식이 필요할 때 매우 편리합니다.

The worst mattress ever. I wasn’t able to sleep at all. It was as hard as concrete. I requested another room but was told they all have the same mattress. The hotel itself is old and a bit run down. There’s no AC in the hallways. The room was old and the balcony view of the ocean also had a great view of high tension power cords right next to the balcony, which is a bit decrepit. Do NOT stay here if you value sleep and comfort.

The hotel is right at the beach, which is great. The beach itself has a toilet facility nearby. The hotel has been renovated recently, and everything is clean. There is a CU on the first floor which is another big plus. The only minus is that restaurants are about 5-10 minute walk.

Really nice bathroom with all large sized toiletries which are much more eco friendly than small individual bottles. Staff at check in were lovely. Bottled water was in room and was replaced daily. Towels were a little on the small side but that’s common in Korea. Walkable to local food street and convenience store is on site.

Good location and decent hotel

This hotel was conveniently located for us when we were in town for the Olympics. It was a short 15 minutes drive with a taxi from the train station to the hotel. Getting to the Olympic ice area was less than 10 minutes with the taxi. The office staff helped up with arranging the taxi - super friendly front desk staff. The hotel is located next to a 24 hour convenience store so we were able to get snacks for our room. There is a snackbar restaurant and coffee shop a few doors up, which is is nice. . Water dispenser in the hallway made it easy. Elevator worked well. The room was nice and warm - we read prior reviews about how it being cold but our room had radiant floor heating. It actually worked too well - we had to open the window to cool it down but the fresh air (freezing outside) was nice. A simple room but it had all the things one would need - shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, gel, electric tea kettle, coffee, other toiletries..The beds were ok - not great but we slept well enough. The only thing missing from this room was a proper chair to sit on. Other than that it had all we needed.

Amazing service and facilities

It is a family running motel. I didnt get the room I originally booked due to so called 'system error'. However the owner's couple really tried to sort us out and their friendly services were amazing! Also, enough secure parking spaces, lifts and the hotel is literally across a road from lovely Donghae sea beach side.
So at the end I was very satisfied with the stay.

(Once booked, I would urge you to call them and double check your booking beforehand. Two very lovely senior couples with not so good with computer.)

기대 이상으로 너무너무너무너무 좋았습니다. 외관과 달리 내부 넓고 엄청 깨끗하고 수건/시트 냄새 안나고 모든 것이 가격 대비 완벽!
해안가로 진입할 수 있는 길 바로 앞에 있고 편의점도 건물에 있어서 편리했습니다.
충전기랑 이불 등등 여러가지로 번거롭게 해드렸는데 친절하게 해주셔서 감사했습니다!

깔끔하게 관리를 하시는구나 생각될 만큼 깨끗하게 청소 정리 되어 있어서 아주 만족해 하면서 숙박했어요. 고층 희망했는데 6층으로 받아서 뷰도 어느 호텔 부럽지 않았어요. 가성비 최고에요. 딱하나 세면대 수압과 다르게 샤워기 수압이 약해요 ㅋㅋ 강릉 가면 재방문이나 주변에 추천해 줘도 좋겠다 싶었습니다.

숙소 아래 편의점도 있고, 바다도 가깝고 , 호수랑도 도보로 10분내외 모두 다닐수있어서 너무 좋았어요! 생각지도 못하게 숙소가 이동하기도 좋은 곳에 위치하여 너무 잘 놀았습니다. 넓고 깨끗해서 이용하는데 불편함이 하나도 없었어요! 다음에도 또 놀러가겠습니다.

깨끗하고 위치는 강릉 시내라 가까운데 맛집 많고
직원들 친절하고 어디하나 흠잡을 수 없는 호텔요.
아쉬운건 조식이 쉬는 날이라 못 억었다는거 다음에는 조식 안 쉬는날 가고 싶어요. 꼭~~~요.

부모님과 작은집 여행 보내드렸는데 풍경도 좋고 바닷가도 가까웠는데 좀 낡은 느낌이 나더라고 하셨습니다. 보일러도 처음엔 안 되셨다고 그래도 전반적으로 친절해서 좋으셨다고 합니다,

경로상 어쩔수없이 선택한거고 연식좀 돼보이길래 별기대 안했는데 깨끗하고 넓고 좋았습니다. 수압이 약한편이라 그거 조금 불편했던거 빼고는 딱히 생각나는건 없네요

일출이 일몰 처럼보이지만 좋아요

청결등은 모두 상태 좋았어요
방에서 보이는 오션뷰는 첨부한 사진과 같이 보여요
참고로 방은 308호임
주변에 먹을곳도 많고 즐길거리도 있고 위치도 너무 좋았어요
편의점 바로옆에 커피숍 횟집까지
강릉을 또간다면 재방문 의사 있어요

완전 여관급입니다

호수 전망이라고 되어있어어 호텔과 비슷한 가격으로 예약했는대 호수 전망전혀 안보이고 주인에게 호수전망 방이 맞냐고 물어보니 주인 말씀이 그냥 호수 방향 창문이라고하내요 ᆢ 정말 놀랍내요

6층에서 바라 보는 나무들과 그 옆으로 보이는 오션뷰, 그리고 저렴한 가격은 전체 적인 시설의 아쉬움을 충분히 상쇄하고도 남습니다.

걱정했는데 정말 깨끗하고 너무 좋았어요!
다만 새벽에 바닷가에 폭죽터트리는 사람때문에 잠을 잘 못잤네요 ㅠㅠ그래도 숙소는 정말 좋았습니다.

오션뷰가 예술인곳~~

갑자기 급하게 서치하여 예약한 숙소였어요
일단 화장실의청결함이 너무맘에들었어요
룸컨디션도 나무랄대없었구요
아침에 창밖으로 보이는 오션뷰는 예술~~
숙소에서 길만 건너면 바로 경포해수욕장~~^^
가격만비싸고 컨디션별로인 숙소많은데
담에도 강릉여행오면 이곳으로 초이스할거예요~

시트를 갈아주지 않더라도 침구정돈을 잘 해줘야. 할것 같습니다. 2박을 했는데 수건만 책상위에 두고 쓰레기 휴지통만 갈아주고 갔음
