We kiked the apartment, but it needs heavier curtains on the doors, or shades. Look like there used to be a shade overboth doors, but it was missing for our stay.

Situated near a bus stop, during the day you can get some traffic noise, but by night time, the area is quiet. It's a bit of a walk from the central square, but it's nice if you want to avoid the babble of roving hoards of daytrippers. There's a beautiful garden with outside seating, and a patio with an excellent view of the town. Excellent breakfast.

Do not hesitate to book this property! It is so incredibly lovely! The rooms are well appointed, comfortable, quiet, and the VIEWS!! OMG the views of Assisi were incredible, it's simultaneously in the heart of the old city and has a world class view of the old city. This family owned and operated boutique hotel was fantastic. The family are so nice and kind and helpful! The included breakfast was delicious and impressive, and so beautifully presented I had to take a photo. We slept so well here, the area is safe, it's just a few minutes' walk to everything. The hotel has it's own little olive orchard which is charming, and a wonderful patio to enjoy more views of the old city. I really wish we had stayed here longer, as it was so enjoyable. I can't say enough nice things about our experience here!

The staff were exceptional. Comfortable bed. Wonderful breakfast! Walking distance to all of the main sites but know that everything is uphill or downhill. Room 26 has a corner balcony with outstanding panoramic views. The room would benefit from blackout drapes.

What an amazing stay! The hotel has a beautiful outdoor garden and terrace with outstanding views of the city and valley where you start your day with breakfast that they bring to your table. We also enjoyed an evening aperitif and nighttime starlit moments on the terrace. Our room was very clean and had a private terrace. This hotel is a truly relaxing space and it is just steps away from the bus stop so you don’t have to drag your bags through town. Marco offers genuine hospitality and cared for our every need, even getting us a great table for a sunset dinner overlooking the Basilica of St. Francis. I can’t imagine a better hotel in town.

What a VIEW! we had room 26 with a cutely decorated balcony facing the valley with a gorgeous bell tower standing guard. it was so peaceful Three minutes easy walk into town with dining, shopping and sites to see. The owners made us feel like family. Everyone so happy and friendly. Fantastic breakfast. Rooms were very up to date and artistically decorated. Would love to go there again!

Unfortunately we weren't able to see the beautiful views as we were there during quite the rain storm, but the hotel is perched on a hill over the valley so when there are no clouds I am sure the view is amazing.

This hotel is great! It has a great location, being one minute from the bus stop, and is situated on the hillside with a wonderful view. The staff are friendly, helpful, and kind and are enthusiastic in their service. I especially enjoyed the fried eggs for breakfast That are made to order. I chose a room with a balcony view. The view was a bit obstructed by the tree in the courtyard, but it was still nice to have the sun light coming in on cool autumn days. I highly recommend this hotel.

Incredible place to stay. Absolutely beautiful setting, and perfectly positioned to explore the town. The balcony outside our room had fantastic views, and we had everything we needed. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated and well maintained. The air conditioning kept us comfortable, and a small fridge was handy for keeping our bottles of drink cold. Breakfast on the terrace each morning was really lovely, and the views were amazing from the gardens. We were well looked after by our hosts and sad when it was time to leave. We had a fantastic stay and would thoroughly recommend.

Definitely the place to stay in Assisi. The staff is kind and was happy to help with any questions we had. The breakfast was very good and substantial. They also had a really nice garden/terrace where you could hang out and have a drink after a long day of walking around St. Francis's town. It was really pleasant out there. We also had a room with a balcony. Both had incredible views of the countryside.

The hotel is gorgeous! Beautiful view rooms and wonderful view breakfast area with the great BF served everyday. The balcony we had was separated just with a drape from the next room’s balcony and didn’t have the privacy, we could hear the couple talking in their balcony even from our room.

Hotel Ideale is a charming place to stay. The accommodations are lovely and very clean. The view from our balcony is beautiful. The breakfasts were incredible. The staff takes care of your needs and is very friendly. This is a place we will go back to visit.

First and foremost Marco was great to work with, great personality and always ready to help and did! The views from this property are the best in Asissi!. Very pleasant atmosphere around entire property.While the breakfast was nice, I found it a bit beyhind the times when it said on the menu that refills on drinks were extra charge (really) I think at the prices of the stay here and extra charge for refills is not a good idea or very prudent.

Hotel Ideale is an awesome option for those visiting Assisi or the surrounding communities in the Perugia / Umbria area. It is located right beside the Assisi Link bus stop, and very close to the Assisi main square area. Easy to walk around Assisi. Service is great. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Hotel Ideale is a little gem of a place to stay in Assisi. It’s located on the Piazza Matteotti at one end of town and one of two bus stops for the bus from the train station. It’s a short walk down to the Piazza San Rufino and a little further to the piazza Communale. The breakfast is outstanding and views from the rooms and property grounds are beautiful. Lovely hotel in a great location. The hotel was pretty, clean, and bright, with modern rooms, and gorgeous views. The outdoor terrace and garden area offered beautiful views over the town and the town centre is just a stone's throw from the hotel. Breakfast was excellent as well. Would definitely recommend!

Located a short walking distance from all the sights in this historic town, with free parking on premises, this beautiful hotel building is very convenient for travelers. Our room was comfortable and clean as a whistle. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The included free breakfast was sumptuous! I's stay there again, and I'd strongly recommend it to anyone making the pilgrimage to Assisi.

There is a big issue of truth in advertisement, Hotel is cliff side, with amazing views, but, rooms we got (apartments) were in adjacent building (as noted) but, adjacent is 250m away (5 min walk) across a parking lot in the Roman Amphitheater, in a construction site, So we enjoyed a great view of the construction area and not the cliff side. Also no one at any point mentioned to us that there's a construction site right under our windows.
More over, half of the staff (total of two :) ) doesn't speak a word of English, which makes it very hard to communicate.
Apartments are brand new, clean and very spacious, Wi-Fi did not work at all!
We have a baby with us, and learnt at arriving they do not offer a Cot (which is noted under fine print in Hotels.com - but, not something we noticed).
View from apartment was very nice (if you look above the horizon line - where construction is visible), but, again, this is not why we chose this hotel, we were waiting the Stunning cliff side view of Assisi.
