Beautiful place let down by below par service.

The reception when we first arrived was a bit frosty.

The restaurant breakfast service was extremely poor.

Our Valley view room had a toilet roll holder you find in some office buildings where roll is locked and tissue is pulled though a small gap. Two days in a row, the tissue was trapped and could not be pulled out. Each time this happens you hsve to call reception to get it sorted. I am sure I am not the only one to experience this so why not resolve it?

One day we came back yo the room after it was cleaned. The bathroom was cleaned but with urine colour liquid on the toilet looking likr someone relived themselves standing after it was cleaned.

The shower door magnrtic seals were incorrectly installed so door would not closr completely and water would leak out.

Overall, a five start hotel with a three star service.

We stayed three nights at this resort. The greenery around this property is breathtaking! The staff were really helpful and attentive although a few areas can be improved. The last ten minutes or so to get to this place had awful road conditions compared to other roads in Kerala. This is not entirely properly’s fault but they and the other resort owners on the same road should be able to influence the government or pave it at their own expense. The lunch at this pkace was awesome! We should have eaten here everyday! The breakfast and dinner buffet was so so. Also, they were understaffed during these times and could not be as attentive. The buggy service was a hot or miss. We had two senior citizens staying with us and one of them had knee surgery recently and without the buggy it would be almost impossible her to access the hilly terrain. The buggies did not always come on time. However, they apologized and ultimately sent them. We rented a two bedroom property with pool. The place was spotless and beautiful! We will be back again. If you have a car/driver, skip the breakfast or dinner and opt for the lunch gir your half board option. Some of the dishes made to order during lunch are the best I had in Kerala! Thank you again for a memorable stay!

The resort is just beautiful. They upgraded our rooms to Golden leaf category.
The rooms were very tidy and spacious. The staff was very courteous and the food was excellent.
Highly recommended property. Worth every penny !

Horrible access with broken roads, unsafe access.
The property itself is very unsafe with little attention to access to people with disabilities, fell twice due to lack of lighting, poor attention to the safety of walkway.
At first thought superficial bruises but it has not been healing well, so will get better medical attention, now that I am back in USA.

The property and staff is what made this stay pleasurable. The guests in the hotel were rude And over the top. Lot of line cutting during tea which is unnecessary. The guests need to work on themselves. Hotel staff was kind and superb. Can’t say enough nice things

the walls are thin. folks staying upstaris made noises both during afternoon nap time and also in the night. i called reception after 11pm. the walls are think hence the noises were loud for people staying downstrais. the hot water in bathroom was not constant. at times, we were getting cold water. the bathroom tissue box was stuck and not giving the tissues out. we had to call room service to fix it. the shower area was not designed properly. when taking shower, water went out of the shower area.

Restaurant is very poor service ,nobody there to monitor .Inexperienced staff , it is better to place a floor manger to get organized . Lunch time is 12-3 but it was not ready until 1.30 pm . Cooking take lot of time

Beautiful place. Room views are not all great, but the hotel is on the top of a huge hill and has amazing views overall. Rooms were nice, though one side of the hotel is clearly newer and nicer than the other side. Food was amazing and really cheap at the restaurant, tons of options and a great breakfast buffet.

Pool isn't heated, so just be ready for that.

It’s not a five star rating resort. No Gym, no lake as mentioned on Expedia. They don’t have ATM neither they would help exchange any foreign currency. They don’t have a spa or salon. Only 1 restaurant will fixed timings. Rooms were clean no luxury at all. No Bar

Relax and quiet ambience with stunning views.
The hotel is located in heaven, surrounded by nature.
The infinity pool is very nice and also the view point on the rooftop.
Our room was facing the valley, the room was spacious, and well equipped with nice balcony.
The area is magnificent, the cottage was surrounded with different flowers.
We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant they serve international cuisine and local at the buffet.
The food was delicious.
The service at the hotel is TOP service by everyone.

We loved our stay at Leaf Resort. The Mountain view was fantastic, and the room was clean and neat. Thanks to all the staff who made us more comfortable during the staycation. The food was terrific. Special thanks to the chef who visited each table and checked about the food and the choices. Overall, pleasant experience at the leaf.

Beautiful property but lax on COVID protocol

Beautiful property with nice views from our cottage. However restaurant was crowded during breakfast & dinner. No room service meant we had to eat with the crowd, not good for COVID protocol. It was also awkward that pool use was allowed at guest risk.

LOVED IT.

Had a great stay there actually stayed an extra 2 nights, staff amazing. Tinsey gave us an early evening nature walk which was very informative then we did an early morning bird watching walk which was even better. Just loved it there would happly stay there again. Food was good staff very keen to please . Stayed in the new buildings with stunning views could not fault the rooms. Sat outside watching the sun set what more could you want.

The property is very secluded and far away from Munnar town. The resort does not have alcohol permit which was disapointing. It has a beautiful mountain view. The staff are friendly, service minded. The restaurant could need some charm to it.

Very nice hotel, it is a bit off the beaten track and well away from the town. Amazing scenery and the view from my balcony was fantastic.

Staff were very friendly and the meals were fine. They are not licenced, so just be aware.

Excellent place for rest and relaxation

The hotel is a little off the beaten route but once inside it is a wonderful place to rest and relax. Surrounded by lush greenery and with expansive grounds of its own, the hotel combines privacy and exclusivity with the best of service and facilities, including a good restaurant, an activity room and an excellent swimming pool. Everything was really good - starting with the warm welcome with home made chocolates. We really loved the Leaf and would love to stay there again.

The resort is in a quiet, remote and peaceful location with amazing views of the mountains and valleys. The staff were extremely accommodating and made us feel welcome and at home. The cottages provide a sense of privacy and feel homey and the grounds are beautifully landscaped with gardens and local flora.

Quiet and secluded

Nice hotel. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Munnar toen which is 19 kms away. Staff are very polite and helpful in particular Mr Prem Kumar and Husana in the restaurant.

I wish the access roads were bitumen instead of dirt roads. However, the views and comfort are worth the trip.

Ein wunderschönes Erlebnis

Unser Aufenthalt war vom ersten bis zum letuten Moment wunderbar. Schon der Empfang ist lobenswert. Es wurde eine kleine Erfrischung gereicht, die Koffer wurden auf die Zimmer gebracht und als der Rezeptionist merkte, dass unsere beiden Zimmer nicht nebeneinander liegen, wurde dies umgehend geändert. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, aufstehen mit Blick auf die Berge der West Gaths, Kaffee und Tee auf den Zimmern verfügbar, einfach herrlich. Alle Mahlzeiten sind sehr gut und bestens organisiert. Lobenswert auch der Einsatz von Anoop, der allabendlich kleine Spaziergänge mit interessierten Gästen zu einer Teeplantage oder einem nshe gelegenen See unternimmt. Bei allen organisatorischen Dingen wie z.B. Jeep Safari, Transfer wurde schnell gut gut geholfen. Schade, dass wir nur wenige Tage im \"Leaf\" bleiben konnten. Absolute Empfehlung!

Geweldig en nieuw hotel - slechts 1 jaar oud. Moderne kamers met alles wat je nodig hebt. Goed eten in restaurant en geweldig personeel. Let wel, alcohol in de bar is nogal prijzig. Kan over de locatie weinig zeggen; wij waren er alleen een enkele nacht op doorreis.

Das Geld nicht wert...

Hotel sehr abgelegen und schwer erreichbar, da „Straße „ nahezu unpassierbar (Taxifahrer machte Probleme). Nahezu kein Zimmerkomfort keine Ablagen, kaum Platz und kein Ausblick. Hotelareal überschaubar und komplett eingezäunt - sehr beengend. Leider vergaß das Personal auch noch einen Teil unseres Gepäcks bei der Abreise; zum Glück bemerkten wir dies noch rechtzeitig. Insgesamt enttäuschen. Wir hätten ortsnäher für deutlich weniger sicher nicht schlechter übernachtet.
