The ladies at the front desk are sweet and trying their best, but that might be the only good thing a person can say about this motel. I know it's a Motel 6 and that you get what you pay for, but clean rooms in moderately good condition would go a long way toward making up for being in the kind of place you would expect Saul Goodman to hang out in search of clients.

Front desk staff were very rude during check in. Room was ‘nonsmoking’ but the whole room smelled like old smoke. Burn holes in the curtain, toilet seat, and bottom of the shower. Tissue stuffed into a particularly large hole in the curtain. Stained sheets if you want to call that clean. Broken down mattress. Had to sleep on the side of the bed by the wall to keep from sinking. No mini fridge. I’m not offended by profanity, however it should not be carved into the door. Bathroom vent nearly falling off the wall. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this way by far the worst! I will never stay at another motel 6!

The staff of very nice, beyond that, travelers should avoid this property unless there is no other choice. Dirty, dirty, dirty. Everything is broken and dirty. Holes in the walls, torn sheets, curtains and towels. Blood, yes blood, stained pillows. Water damaged floors and furnishings. Rotting food and trash in the breezeway for weeks. Overflowing trash recepticles everywhere. Matresses with broken springs and giant lumps and dips. I was there for a month for work and had no other choice. I had to clean my own room, change my own sheets and towels, and provide my own toilet paper. Not one single visit from housekeeping even after I requested housekeeping. People milling about the parking lot all night long fighting and arguing. Harleys starting up outside my window every night until 4am. The guy upstairs screaming at his girlfriend nightly while she slammed the door and threw furniture, presumably at him. On the bright side, the prostitute upstairs told me she would make sure nobody messed with my car. I can say, nothing happened to my car during the stay.

Filthy Room and Trash Property

Horrible Experience – Filthy and Unhygienic Stay!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness and basic upkeep are not a priority here.

The bathroom and shower were so filthy that we made the choice not to use the shower in the morning—something I never thought I’d have to do in a hotel. The towels provided were stained and looked like they hadn’t been properly washed in ages. The floor was so sticky that our shoes literally stuck to it with every step.

Despite booking a non-smoking room, the entire space reeked of cigarette smoke. On top of that, there was a large burn hole in the curtain, which let in light all night, making it nearly impossible to sleep.

The entire property was disgusting. Beer bottles and cans were scattered everywhere—on the stairs, second-story walkways, and even piled up on the AC unit right outside our room. To make matters worse, there was vomit on the stairs leading to our room and dog feces in the common areas. The smell of stale beer and urine permeated the entire place, making it unbearable to walk around.

This was by far one of the dirtiest and most poorly maintained hotels I have ever stayed at. Do yourself a favor—stay anywhere else!

No Fridge. No Microwave. No Lamps.
No Trash Can in the room.
Strange Shower with poor water pressure.
No Breakfast of any kind.
Coffee was awful.
TV Channel selection was garbage.
WIFI was FREE but spotty and dropped daily.
No Remote for the TV when I got in and it took an Hour to get it and I had to GO BACK for it because they obviously quit looking.

I Travel KY a ton and the only thing worse I have ever seen was Roach Infested... but it had a Fridge, Lamps, Microwave, Trash Can etc etc.

I will NEVER GO BACK to this place.
And I MUST return to Owensboro in the future.

Absolutely horrible experience. I will never stay there again! And i hope this review helps others decide to not stay there either.
Room was FILTHY when i arrived. Looked like it hadnt even been cleaned, only the bed changed...maybe. I personally cleaned off all the counter tops, the 2 chairs and the bathroom sink/counter. I also swiffered all the floors. I went through 2 dry swiffer cloths and THREE WET cloths!! Absolutely disgusting!! The faucet in the bathroom sink wasnt mounted to the sink, thr exhaust fan had no cover on it, and the light above the sink didnt work. So it left me with the tiny light in the shower which wasnt very bright at all!
Oh and it gets better! I thought check out was at 12 like this app states but it actually is at 11. I found that out by the MALE housekeeper breaking the metal latch off the door to enter the room and WALKED IN ON ME WHILE I WAS IN THE SHOWER!!!!! To ask if i was checking out or staying. Absolutely Unbelievable & 100% uncalled for!!! Thank the lord I was still in the shower and not already done & drying off.
& last but not least my $60 bottle of perfume magically disappeared while I was away from my room.

Im from ohio and was there for a job interview 5 hours from home and had to go to the interview tired because i was kept awake half the night from drug addicts. I reserved \"non-smoking\" rooms (2) and although the rooms were marked as such, the room reeked of smoke and there were burn marks on the table, shower and counters. The floor was not particularly clean and my shoes stuck as I walked across it. I wouldn't walk on it without my shoes being on.

One of my son's original room was so bad smelling, he had to ask to be changed to another room.

First off, let me say that the woman who checked me in and out of my room was a delight. That said, I did find hairs in the shower, a cigarette butt under the toilet, what looked like scrambled eggs and sausage wedged in the sink's drain, a small nickle sized piece of bacon on the ac unit, and either whip cream or shaving cream on the curtains. My feet were also covered in dust/dirt after walking from the shower to the bed. Oh, and there were like 4-5 shopping carts in the parking lot, lol.

Cleanliness aside, the room was only $80 which was great, so I'm still giving it 4 out of 5 stars.

This was the single worst experience I have had with a hotel. I got in after making my reservation online, couldn't find the reservation. Then couldn't get expedia's payment to clear. Then made a key and the first key didn't work. Then I got into a room reeking of cigarette smoke, set my now-cold food on the table, went to the bathroom and my food was already covered in ants. Went back to the front desk and was given two more keys to try. Second room had black hair in the bed and more ants, third room did not have working electricity. All rooms reek of smoke. There were vagrants in the parking lot yelling for a dog or something. The lady at the front desk said I would be refunded when I told her I was leaving but I havnt been. The hotels across the street are an oasis compared to this nightmare. If you are not on drugs you do not belong in this hotel.

We’re ran off my manager. Talk to you rude hopefulness lied to. Charge for room, they were paid for room rent and didn’t get to stay I was told I will get a refund did not get get it. This price should be shut down he should be charged arrested. This is against people and disability rights this man is a thief His staff is very rude awful I was told they fix the air conditioner. We stayed one night with no air-conditioning. They said it would fix the toilet stopped up all night. I reported everything no air-conditioning the toilet stopped up one hour, after we got the room, I was told all this will be fixed never did get fixed. I called office repeatedly my son get sick vomiting because room is hot the air condition will not work then I was towed they would come and change the bed then we waiting four hours in the car then I was told they don’t have maid that is a lie. They have 2 maids a black guy for woman This is bad and should be, probably illegal, and will talk to you my attorney today. I want all my room money refunded now.
