Jeanette
The sheets and bed spread were dirty, the person at the front desk wanted us to change them!
The tv also won’t work.

We noticed dead bugs around the pool. When we took our grandchildren down for breakfast it was obvious that the food had been sitting in the warming tray had been there for an extended time. The biscuits were not edible they were extremely hard. We found it very disturbing when the individual tending to the cantina fixed themselves some biscuits and gravy before we could serve ourselves and that left us with very little. It was only after we asked about additional biscuits then we're they prepared. Very poor cantina
Jennifer
This hotel was a good stay. Clean, and the front desk staff was friendly.

we had a great stay! the room was clean & so was the property
Susan
The staff were very friendly, and there were no issues in that regard. The warm breakfast was good. However, the room was poorly cleaned and had ants. We requested a different room, but it had a musty, smoky odor and also had ants, so we ended up staying in the original room since it at least didn’t have a smell. When we asked for extra towels, we were told to bring the used ones down. The air conditioner was noisy, and while the beds were comfortable, they were small. Overall, the room itself was small and not well maintained.
Cindy
Very quiet, nice stay

We stayed tin owensboro ky at 51 bon harborhills. We paid for our pet to be with us and a late checkout. I had surgery scheduled for today. My husband dropped me off at the hospital went back to the hotel to check on her dog. We had to do not disturb sign out on the door. he goes in our dog is missing. He is panicking runs around, trying to find him our room was by the stairs. He goes downstairs and finds the dog running around the downstairs hallway. No one even noticed and he not came back when he did. Our dog could’ve went right out the door and got hit or been stolen by someone when he found a dog and went back upstairs to the room to pack the rest of our things up one of the maids she was really short with dark black hair was kept banging on the door trying to get in. Why did we pay for a late checkout if they were gonna be banging on our door and coming in anyway I want to know who let my dog out ! And why they were in our room when we weren’t there was a do not disturb !?we asked the staff what went on why someone was even going in our door with the do not disturb sign on the door? We got no answers at all. I feel like someone was in our room trying to steal stuff while we were gone. I don’t know why else they would come in when we had a late checkout and we had to do not disturb sign hanging on the door this place is a freaking joke. Do not ever stay there ! This place is terrible fir customer service snd basic respect for its guests

Yes everything was good other then having card issue and getting me in a handicap room.

The rooms were very nice, the breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Deborah
The room was a little outdated and I didnt care for the sink being in our room versus normal bathroom's having the sink in the bathroom. It looked like it was an old hotel that was partially refurbished. It was at the end of the bypass which made it easy to hop on the bypass but far from businesses and shops. But the staff was very friendly and kind. Overall I give it a 4.5 . Nice.
Matthew
It was what we was looking for
Linda
Rooms were clean, everything worked, breakfast was hot and parking lot was safe. Want to brag on lady standing in for manager. We arrived early & weren’t coming back till late. She made sure our room was cleaned up, so we could put our bags in & freshen up!

Nice place to stay for a night. Mostly clean, aside from a stray hair in the bathroom. Shower door stuck and needed to be persuaded to open. Good breakfast, with protein options. Attentive, friendly staff.
We were there on a Thursday and we heard a lot of engines revving and winding up that night, like several cars were repeatedly racing away. It didn't disturb our sleep, though. I'm not sure what the hotel could do about such a problem.

Stayed here for an extended visit and had a genuinely great experience. The hotel was extremely clean throughout, from the rooms to the common areas, which made a big difference day to day. The staff really stood out, everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed.
It’s clear they take pride in keeping the place well maintained and making guests feel comfortable. Overall, a smooth, stress free stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone passing through or staying longer-term.

Our room had wiring issues that would not allow proper lighting. The associate on the front desk immediately assigned a new room! Such good service! Would highly recommend this motel!!
Steven
Worth the money.
Christie
The pool was freezing cold even though inside. Room had a huge hole in rug. Extremely hard beds. Breakfast sausage was under cooked and cold. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone else. My niece had rented a room as well and ended up just leaving and not staying at hotel wasting money.
Kimberly
First of all I booked this room for Valentine's day and the pics are definitely not what you get here when it comes to hot tub and pool We arrived and first off they hold a 50.00 incidentals charge which I understand but the front desk person had only been there 3 days and kept charging the 50.00 like 3 different times due to not enough training they just throw people out there and should train them better we felt bad for them! They reversed it after our stay but still that shouldnt have happened then we get checked in the bathroom door really wasnt one it was a sliding and wouldnt come out the shower had black mold growing in the hardware which is gross the sheets looked they were washed in gray dirty water the door had a gap down the side bottom half you could see out of to the room the walls were paper thin you can hear everything and then theres the hot tub situation we get down there and theres a mat like one we had in kindergarten to take a nap on covering it to warm it
up the take it off and its like black nasty water they act like they dont want you to turn it on half the lights dont have light bulbs in the rooms or pool area the pool is ice cold and the pool area is not clean mold around the table rings floor nasty this was a terrible Valentine's day stay!! They should be ashamed of themselves for even taking peoples money!! We will never stay here again! We ended up doing a redo at amother hotel somewhere else the next weekend! Pathetic!!

The room was clean, but small. The shower needed to be cleaned just a little bit better around the door. The breakfast was okay (watered down gravy and waffle batter). Indoor pool was not heated. Fresh towels, trash pickup, and linens offered daily if needed.
Mary Jo
Clean room, good breakfast, coffee always available. The general manager, Sunny, was very nice and helpful. Gave us great restaurant ideas. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was fine, except there was no cable or any premium channels. Aside from that, their breakfast offering had no sweet cereal, only Cheerios and Corn Flakes. Nope. My issues are the following: 1. Online check in serves no purpose. I literally did duplicate upon arrival. 2. I had the following charges after booking and paying for the room: $1, $1, $50, $52.xx. 3. The online checkin said I wasn't a rewards member. I am. The email and phone are identical across platforms. In summary, the room and service was a 3 star, while the tech stack and booking were a 1, so 3+1=4/2=2 stars. It would seem much of technology sold to Wyndham fails. The same for Expedia. Don't allow your vendors to sell you, and then fail you.
Patricia
Staff was awesome. Room was nice and clean.

Our visit to Owenboro was for an official college visit for football and baseball. Upon arrival we were please with the location and the compassion of the staff. Professionalism was on display and reflected in the cleanliness of the room. Our entire stay was great, the beds were a little small, however, very comfortable, and the renovation of the building was a great addition. The breakfast was not great, however the stay over shadowed that. Overall, if my son decides to come to KWC, that will be our location.

Walking in after a long day I was met with a clean lobby, a clean smell and wonderful staff. All of my questions were answered regarding things around the area and the hotel but he was so sweet.
I will give a heads up, they are renovating!! Everything is nice and clean and new but there was a couple hiccups in the room that come with renovations and finding the kinks along the way. Nothing that was trip ending, just things that make you giggle. Staff was made aware and they were so sweet and apologized when it wasn’t necessary.
Will be coming back on our next trip to the area for sure!

The staff was incredible. The lady at the front desk was so helpful and she made the kids feel welcome. Definitely would stay here again.

Contrary to Expedia‘s listing of this hotel, only the lobby and the outside are newly renovated. The room we stayed in, was not renovated and very dirty. The staff was unprofessional and many things were broken, damaged and just unclean. Upon arriving the first room we were given was actually dirty and looked as if someone was living in it. The next room we got was “cleaned” but the linens were stained, walls were filthy, and lots of damaged areas.
When we woke up a young boy was doing the routine cleaning in the hall way? Weird. I thought at the least it would be worth the cheap price but it was not.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. They automatically placed me in an upgraded room which had been recently renovated. Everything was very nice and comfortable. The staff were all very kind and went out of their way to make sure all needs were met. The pool was heated which made indoor exercise an option which was nice for the time of year I visited. Parking was ample and location was convenient to downtown. Grounds were well maintained and the roses out front were such a pretty greeting upon arrival. I'd definitely recommend! Management is doing a fantastic job in this location.

After a very long drive in from Georgia I checked in to this hotel. Less than one hour after checking in I saw a roach run across the desk. I called the front desk immediately. She asked if I would like to change rooms. I told her that I could not stay in a building with roaches because they would likely be in other rooms as well. I grabbed my belongings and left the hotel immediately. I was told by the owner he would approve a full refund through Expedia. I contacted Expedia. They said they would contact the hotel and see if they would be willing to refund the stay. They did not. I ended up going to Hampton Inn. I will never stay at a Wyndham property again
Angel
My room was full of ants, we registered and went to the room, we left to go to casino and when we came back the bed and the counter was full of ants..

The elevator did not work and one of our outlets in the room did not work. The air/heat unit was loud. We did not have a do not disturb placket on our door or the extra lock feature was missing. Beds seemed more like full size than queen. The staff was excellent though and when we requested extra towels they came right away and offered to take our dirty ones right then. The area where we had breakfast was also very small and hard to access food as prep area door was open and blocking part of fridge and food area. If you have several people in there to eat you will have a line and be in the way of people moving around to get things.
Greg
Every one was very k8nd. We thorouggly enjoyed ourselves

Friendly staff that let me check in early. Breakfast was mid. Biggest issue was the gap I’m at the bottom of the door that let you hear everyone in the hallway.

Well we have stayed here before the lady at front desk is always VERY SWEET AND HELPFUL and i know good help is hard ro find these days but our room the cleanliness was less than desirable their was black long hair all over the floor like no sweeping had been done in bathroom along beds in shower their qas a small wash cloth left in shower and qe found a towel used stickibg out from under mattress and i know things break down the elevator was broken again the lady at desk asked if i would take a double bed room instead of king seeing king was on 3 rd floor very nice of her my wife loves to sit in hot tub well it was warm but jets were broken like i said we have stayed here before no problems even when they were remodeling i would recommend whomever is in charge of cleaning of rooms be more observate hopefully their own house isnt left like that room of ours was this time why didnt i ask for different room i believe their wasnt any if i remember her saying only king bed was on 3rd floor and double was available on 1st and she was having a rough time with a tv in one room and sheets and towels in another and i presume no help in housekeeping cause she and this guy were folding the linens we just used a towel with our feet to sweep the floor its not their fault about house keeping anyhow they were tbe highlight of the stay front desk and guy not sure what he is to her but both are awesome friendly and helpful

Elevator was broke. I was on 2nd floor. My room had a ceiling leak. They didn’t upgrade room and gave me room next door, no leak but hallway was full of empty garbage cans to catch water. One of the Staff also had daughter at work.
Wasn’t pleased overall.

Elevator ran sketchy and sounded like it's ready to breakdown. Elevator Inspection expired in 2020. Saw termites on the carpet by the Elevator on 3rd floor.
Hotel had been renovated and was clean and employees respectful and attentive. Breakfast was mediocre. GRAVY WAS WATERY AND SAUSAGE NOT BROWNED.OVERALL A DECENT STAY. The caps are related to my keyboard use not anger.

Meh.
We’ve stayed here in previous years while visiting family and despite the new renovations (that apparently were only done on the outside and common areas) it has gone downhill. The carpet in the rooms is full of stains and very old, there’s water damage on the walls, the lights in the bathroom are incredibly dim, and the room smelt of mildew. The workers were very friendly however stood right outside the front door smoking so unfortunately you had to walk through that to get smell inside. I can’t say we will stay here again which is unfortunate as it is very close to family.
Krista
Owensboro was a great place. It was a little far from the venue but it worked. My only complaint was that the elevator was slow and very noisy.
