Everything about this hotel was by far sign up the best places that I have stayed because of it s beautiful location during the waves crash at night the location and the staff are so accommodating with free breakfast and the jacuzzi Jets or just what I needed and we're very powerful riches very rare when it comes to hotels this place with everything going for it I'm booking again for my next day when I would usually explore other venues for my business trip

This hotel is right on the ocean. So if you want an ocean experience this is for you. It is an old motel, that has refurbished the guest rooms but the motel still has a run down feel to it in the hallways. They do have live entertainment on weekends

What a nice surprise to find this independent gem at such a great location. It overlooks the ocean, and there is a swimming beach just a short walk down the sidewalk. Plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor pools and a decent continental breakfast. Good value for a clean and updated room with a fridge and no carpet.

We absolutely loved this place and will be back. We had to book last minute and did not have nearly enough time so soak in the beautiful views. We enjoyed both pools and the rooms were comfy. You can adjust the A/C to your preference which has made this our absolute favorite place so far. We’ve stayed at a bunch because of travel basketball. 10/10.

My stay at Pilgrims Sands was just \"okay\". There was nothing really good to talk about this place. Its poorly maintained. The pool's lining is separating from the pool walls. The WiFi barely worked. The lights on the balcony you can't turn off made the balcony unusable at night. The bed was like sleeping on plywood covered with sheets. The housekeeping staff either can't read or chose to ignore our \"DO NOT DISTURB\" sign we had on the door. Their breakfast featured zero meat protein and was not monitored well to make sure what was available didn't run out.

Paid extra for a balcony, balcony was soaking wet (probably from the AC), not safe to sit on, slightly wobbly. The light from the outside lights and the lights in the hallways make the room so bright (very poor seal around door and poor curtain coverage) my child wouldn’t sleep. Advertised there is a bathtub (for my child) and there wasn’t, bathroom has been nicely renovated but we chose this place because a bath tub was advertised. When checking out, I let the front desk know we paid extra for the balcony and it’s not safe for use, they didn’t seem to care. “We’ll take it into consideration”. Right on the ocean but no safe access, there is a beach close by.

While it’s an older hotel, they are renovating the rooms. Our room had new LVP flooring, all new bathroom, etc. The views out the back were spectacular as this is right on the bay! Breakfast of omelets, sausage, cereal, waffle machine, and fruit served our needs.

This was a balcony suite, but there was a fresh mosquito hatch out there so... maybe they could put bug zappers on the balcony?

We had the pleasure of staying at this property. The staff (Jeff and Mike)were very accommodating,and professional. Check in was a breeze. The room was very clean,and spacious. We stayed on the ground floor Ocean View King. Beautiful views of their private beach,and P Town. The sunsets were spectacular!!! My only suggestion is that it would be great if they had sensors on the outside lights. They are very bright,and the amount of bugs they attract is unbelievable!! Every time we had to go in or out our door soooo many bugs would fly in our room!! We definitely will visit again,but I will bring bug spray.

The rooms look amazing now they have being refurbished, the staff are very friendly. The pool was open outside and was very clean. The bar area was very nice and the bartender was awesome. The bar snacks could do with a little oomph, but otherwise excellant stay. I've been coming here for years.

Breakfast: make your own waffles, toast, bagels, some pastries and mini muffins, cream cheese, yoghurt, jam, butter, coffee, tea, milk, apples and oranges. Good location when you have a car. I would definitely go for the balcony options as the waves are very close. Great view. Too heavy use of Febreze and air freshener.

Room was very newly remodeled. It looked amazing.
Although the beds appear to be made with cover blankets that smelled of curry. They are like the old school 70’s cover blankets that matched the curtains. And the second blanket also had a musty smell. So we had to remove both to sleep in the beds with just a top sheet. Thank god weather has changed and it wasn’t cold so we could sleep
Comfortably.

They need to keep up with their bedding and new towels to match the hotel upgrades. Hope it’s just because it’s the beginning of the season and this all gets corrected before people start paying top dollar to stay here.

And the cologne smell in the hotel was very strong and a little too much! Other than that rooms were spacious and clean and it was a great place to stay!! The Hotel is older however it has gone through a wonderful update. I stayed there April 23,2026-April 26.! The decor in my room was modern with a very clean look. The Hotel interior has a beach look and was updated nicely. The workers, especially the front desk check in were kind, helpful and all around accommodating . Breakfast was good and the view-of the ocean was a plus. Heads up there is no elevator.

We had a great time here even though off season. We had a room at the back of the hotel on the second floor over looking the ocean which was so nice going to sleep & waking up to the sounds of the ocean. Close to everything that Plymouth offers in dining & cultural experiences. The staff at the hotel were extremely polite & helpful. The rooms were tastefully decorated & the bed was awesome. The breakfast was what we expected that we see in any Wyndham, choice, IHG hotel. Bathroom was very clean as was the room. Had a nice indoor pool & hot tub. My only complaint would be no additional hooks in the bathroom to hang towels nor any type of shelves in the shower to put your toiletries on so you have to leave them on the floor of the shower. Will definitely be back.

I would not recommend this hotel. While it is on the ocean with good views the state of the hotel needs major updates. The property has mass of broken concrete and debri to the side of parking lot that does not seem safe. The beds were comfortable.

The recent renovations are a good improvement from what they offered before. Room for improvement : TV had bad picture quality and there was not one rug in the king deluxe room. Little things like that make a big difference in comfort and appeal. Breakfast was slightly lacking options. Staff was courteous.

Could use some attention to details in terms of cleaning thoroughness but that could be fixed. The breakfast was minimal but had coffee which is all I wanted for the morning. Adding bananas and peanut butter would be nice. We were given the best room, corner room with no neighbors so it was very quiet, much appreciated. Parking was easy. Not sure if we would stay again but it was nice. View was the best part. I’d opt for a balcony next time

It is an ok place. Nice and comfortable beds and sheets. The towels are pretty rough and not soft at all.
This is my second time staying there, So obviously two different rooms. The showers are very weird. More like a bathroom faucet with a shower head sticking out of the bottom of the faucet. The pressure is weak too.
Both times I have been there, the pool and the hot tub have brownish rings around the sides, I would never step foot in either one. The breakfast is simple and easy. I would love it if they had hard boiled eggs or something like that. But it is still all free. The staff had always been great.

The place is in a great location, on the water/beach and 5 mins from my family, so that's the good. Despite their massive renovations, it's still rough around the edges. The bed itself was comfy, but the bedding smelled too strongly of bleach and blanket old and thin. Room was clean, but water didn't drain well in shower and we didn't get the walk out patio as was in the photos - the units closest to the breakwall had the walkouts removed, so just double check if you have heart set on walking out to the sand directly from room. Check in staff was nice and friendly. PRice is very decent, but again, it still feels dated in spots like hallways.

The staff could have been kinder and more professional. My husband had stitches on his elbow and while he was sleeping he bled through the dressing and a small amount got on the sheets which I personally took off the bed. We were treated like dirty animals. The situation was bad enough. Don’t hotels use bleach to clean their sheets? Woman have periods, people get hurt. This was absolutely unacceptable. What’s even WORSE is I love the area and it’s a beautiful night so I was going to book it for tonight. They told me I couldn’t book at their hotel because my husband’s wound opened up and he had to go to the hospital again. This staff is very unkind and inconsiderate. I am a nurse and have never heard of something like this happening. Kindness is Everything and that is not present at this property!

This was very much a room for a night. It was clean and the beds were comfortable but the room was very basic and the internet was patchy at best.

The breakfast was fine if a little limited and basic.

The staff were polite and helpful.

All on all, a fine stay for a night but nothing to write home about as you'd probably expect
