Place is a scam... Upon arrival, I was told they do not take online reservations and that I had to pay there at the desk. As of now, I have been billed twice, by hotels.com and motel 6.
To top it off, the hotel hotel is an absolute crap hole.

Management was terrible here

When I checked in the jerk manager charged me more than what my reservation said. He said he would credit me with the difference. He never did. When I said I needed a 4:30am wake up call to catch a plane he said okay, but I never got the wake up call. Thank goodness for my phone waking me up.

My stay was really good. We go every year for the country concert. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and made the check in process easy. We noticed the air conditioner was not working and the staff did everything they could to get it fixed. Thank you guys! We will see you guys next year when we book for the country concert.

This room was what I wanted for my overnight. I didn't have to pay for things I don't want like a breakfast I can't eat (Diet reasons) or a pool I would not use. It was quiet, clean, had a microwave and fridge. Just what I wanted.

No hairdryer or coffee pot, but there was a toilet plunger. Showers was great, hot water available immediately. Bathroom air return grille very dirty. Flimsy towels. Bed cover in nonsmoking room had cigarette burn holes!

Not worth the cheeper cost

AC/heating was so loud I couldn’t sleep without earplugs. Imagine the buzzing of a Fluorescent light x10, even when it’s not running, just being plugged in causes the sound. Never heard anything so bad that I had to pay to endure.
Also the access door to the handicap room has a step that’s over 6in high. You have to go back through the main entrance and down a hallway if you can’t step up. Why would you put the handicap parking next to a door that isn’t handicapped accessible?
Don’t stay here, spend a bit more and go someplace else, I wish I had and I have very low standards

Heater in my room was very loud. Hallway smelled like smoke. No soap in lobby bathroom.
It’s an old building that’s had limited maintenance and it shows. The heater was exceptionally loud kept waking me up. Lights in the room were very dim.

My stay is always great at the Motel 6 in Sidney Ohio. They take care of any problems with my room. In fact, I had a problem with the heater in my room and they instantly gave me another room where the heater worked fine. Also, I was informed that they replaced the bad heater with a new heater thw next day so that future guests would not have a problem. The price is great for the good room that I always get with the Motel 6 in Sidney.

I stay here because they are so pet friendly but my expectations are really low. They were not met. Seems to be on the decline. They dont clean the rooms during your stay, and not that well between your stay. Matresses and pillows are well used. Really really well used. Has a bad smell not covered up by cheap cleaning products. They still charge 75 a night for the pleasure of your company.

When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk. Another couple was already waiting. I called the hotel number, I could hear it ringing but no one answered. I was there for about 10 mins, called a couple more times, a person finally showed up at the front desk. I was there close to 9 pm.
The heater, ac unit would not shut off. I had to unplug it to get it to stop running.
There was not a channel guide in the room. I had to go through every channel to get to a channel I liked.

After two room changes and fleas we didn’t stay - they did refund our money but it was through Expedia so we were not refunded the whole amount - that was not the hotels fault - Expedia refunded us about 15.00 short !! Better than nothing

The gentleman at the front desk was professional and after I checked in, he addressed me by my first name for the rest of my stay. I liked that!

The hotel needs some updates. The ice machine area is a bit iffy for me. It felt like someone could grab you. Base borads definitely need some attention. Ac in the main building not working a believe because once you leave your room its so hot. The beds were a bit comfortable. Due to being hard.

Room wasn’t the cleanest—floors could not of been mopped—our fridge was set to defrost, noticed water so cleaned it up with a (white) towel, VERY dirty once finished bed not comfortable, pillows were the worst,
Our particular hallway had a dog barking and reeked of marijuana—thankfully we did not bring our young grandson with us.
Will probably not stay there again, although the staff working the front desk were extremely nice, and room service did check in every other day.

The location of the hotel is great. Close to restaurants and the interstate. The room itself was fine except the bed covers were stained. The towels were threadbare and also stained. We went to the Walmart and purchased towels to use instead. The water in the shower took a minute to flow out of the shower head. It was at least hot water but pressure was less than strong. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The condition of the property was the worst I have experienced. The window fell out when I tried to lock it. The air conditioner sounded like a small explosion when it came on and the party noise went on well after 1am. The bedding was nasty, so I slept in my sleeping bag.

It was conveniently located off interstate, some place to eat, gas, and morning coffee (other than hotel coffee). The interior was not well kept. And my room had 2 hairs (not mine!) in the bathroom/vanity area. The shower mat was stained (hopefully clean but several stains). And the pillow cases were wrinkled (again, hopefully clean).
