staff was nice but the room we stay in needs to be remodeled. Bathroom look old and dated with the shower door seal peeling off. Bedroom area was old and a bit dingy, the sofa in the room didn't look clean so had to lay a clean towel on it to seat on it . Hotel manager was kind to give credit of $50 which was appreciated but for the next guest, who might want to stay there, ask them to maybe give you a remodeled room if they have any.

Beautiful rooms, staff were friendly and helpful. Location was so close to Sonoma square where there was shopping, restaurants and bars. We walked everywhere. My only complaint was that we were on the ground floor and the guests in the room above us were so loud. Stomping on the floor most of the night. I even heard another guest yelling for them be quiet.

Very nice inn in a great location — just a short walk to the plaza and local dining. We enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese before dinner and the included breakfast. It would have been nice to have a few more options for eggs, but overall the meal was good. The in-room fireplace was cozy, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub.

The Inn at Sonoma has a complimentary breakfast that is excellent and changes daily! It also has very nice and comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces for a group to gather. We usual travel as a group of 10-12 people and we really enjoyed the space. Definitely will be coming back.

My second stay, for a tranquil getaway, confirmed the great impression I had the first time around. They let me check in early and helped me with a couple of minor requests. The free wine and cheese hour at 5:00, accompanied by a local winery tasting, was a real treat. I also appreciated the full breakfast and good coffee in the morning.
They had free parking, too. It's now my go-to place in Sonoma!

The In is very nice. However it lacks some basic amenities. There is no in-room safe. They will hold valuables at the front desk safe but only up to $1000 in value.
The lighting in the room leaves something to be desired. A dimmer would have been nice.
The counter space in the bathroom is very tight. Two people would have a tough time placing belonging.
The fireplace is very nice. Just know there is no view but you are in downtown Sonoma so that should be expected.
If you like to cook, buy their cookbook. The breakfast is very nice. It is vegetarian, no meat but lovely choices.

Enjoyable Stay

This b and b has 3 buildings with accommodations. The main building has 2 floors and contains the kitchen. The other two buildings have more rooms. Our room was in the main building on the second floor. Kind of small but pretty. Newer and very clean with a gas fireplace. The view overlooks the parking lot but there are trees all around and because the b and b has limited rooms it’s still pleasant. The daily breakfast was quite good.I would stay here again.

Super boutique hotel in Sonoma.

We enjoyed a lovely stay here for a few days whilst exploring Sonoma. The staff were excellent throughout our stay, the breakfast was very good and the evening wine tasting with cheese was also very good with different wine tasting each evening and house wine also available. The petite vintners room was nice and comfortable but a little disappointing with no view or balcony and set in a separate building to the main hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights and visited Sonoma and Napa. The hotel’s location is within easy walking distance to the square in Sonoma. We stayed in the Vinter’s house which is a separate building from the main but only steps away from it. Other than our room being on the street side of the building and there being trash pick up in the early morning, it was fine. The room was spacious enough for two and the bathroom was nicely appointed. Shower pressure was good and the daily housekeeping did a nice job. Without a doubt, the highlight of day was the breakfast spread that they put out. It was as good, or better than what you’d expect at any restaurant. It was incredibly convenient having it on property and so appreciated. On two of the nights, there was a wine and cheese spread which was great. If and when we return to the area, we won’t think twice about making another reservation here. Truly, a great find.

This hotel was above and beyond any hotel i have ever stayed at.
From the ease of check in , to the spotless luxurious room, so charming and comfy.
They had a wine and cheese hour and a delicious healthy breakfast included.
The ladies at the desk were more than helpful and kind. We took advantage of the bicycles they had for use and just staying here elevated our whole experience in sonoma! Keep up the charm!

Check-in was to be $:00 PM. We arrived at 4:30 PM and room was still not ready. We said we would walk around and let our cell number to be texted when room would be ready. Never received a text. We just went back over an hour later to find out room was finally ready.

Room was fine, just outdated. Too expensive for an outdated room. Breakfast was so-so, not that great and not much choices.

Lovely yet affordable stay in Sonoma.

The Inn at Sonoma is a great affordable option in wine country. The room was clean and comfortable for our family of four. The included breakfast had different options each morning along with daily offerings of yogurt, fruit, and toast. The evening wine and cheese hour was a nice treat - during our stay in addition to the inns wine offering there were guest wineries pouring as well. The staff was helpful in recommending family friendly wineries to visit. There is an EV charger in the underground garage which was very appreciated.
