Upon arrival there was trash and throw up on the ground walking into the hotel. Staff was polite during check in. The view from our room was a shipping container and dirty parking lot. It’s an old dirty hotel. Don’t let them trick you into some river view. It’s foul.

This hotel has everything to be a gem but it is run down and it can use a good upgrade. Hallways smell like cigarette (not the room) and the floors and rooms could use an upgrade too. The carpets look like they havent been replaced for the past 20 years. Staff SUPER nice and willing to make u feel at home.

This property seems slightly abandoned and not at all to the level of a Sheraton, while the staff present did a great job, it was seriously understaffed. Also their computer system does not integrate with hotels.com reservations so we had issues at check in. Food in the restaurant was very good though and they had a great wine selection m. The atmosphere is definitely lacking though. For 200 bucks though , overall it was with it. Just weird. If you stay you will understand.

We had booked for 4 nights, we had requested a room with a marina view. We were given a 2nd Floor room FACING A WALL. We requested a different room and were told \"All rooms face a wall\" and no other rooms were available. The thermostat in our room was not working and the air conditioner was very noisy. The dining room was very small and hav a very limited menu and the bartender served as the waiter and server. We checked out a day early and will not return to any Sheraton.

The young man at the front desk was amazing and very kind. The property was run down. The room was outdated and extremely dusty. Maybe none had stayed there in months? Windows so dirty as well as the carpet and overall property needs renovations. Location was good. The marina was a bunch of dilapidated boats… maybe pictures need to be updated on the site. It’s kind of misleading.

carpet was stained really bad; carpet also had a seem rip along the length of the room through the middle of the room. one of the bed side lamps sockets was broken to where you could get an electric shock turning it on or off. Noisey AC, no ability to open a window, black mold in the shower tile grout and some ceiling tiles in the hallway were stained from prior roof leaks. the only one staff member I encountered was really nice and the bed was super comfortable; over all for the price I paid, not worth it and I won't be coming back.

The view from the balcony was exactly what I needed. I sat outside with a bottle of wine for 3 hours and enjoyed the sunset. I watched the birds and saw a turtle. Very relaxing!

Room and hotel was beautiful. Continental breakfast and restaurant's personnel were good. I can't say the same about the front desk. Very informal, attention was not good, they didn't noticed that I booked my stay with Hotels.com until the next day because I claimed my breakfast boucher and told them to check booking. Front desk lady was not attentive, didn't explained anything about the amenities or have a welcoming attitude. Night time front desk was really good, and Sunday's front desk was ok. Sadly looks like they needed more training in customer service.

The hotel needs a refresh. First room the heater didn’t work and had stains on the wall. Second room was clean, but the fixtures, stain on the wall by the elevator. I think it was built back in 1989, 37 years ago, it’s time. The staff did they best they could, but it’s time to invest in this property.

Disappointing Stay — Below Marriott Standards

As a loyal Marriott member, I was disappointed that my membership was neither recognized nor acknowledged during check-in. Despite booking through Expedia, I had expected the reception team to identify my membership via my email ID and extend the same level of service Marriott is known for.

Unfortunately, several issues made this stay fall short of expectations:
•Our breakfast details were misplaced, and we had to email and provide a screenshot to confirm them.
•The same issue occurred with parking details, which we also had to resend.
•The room was not well-maintained — there were visible wine stains on the carpet, a curtain hanging loose from one side, and a damaged room phone.

On the last day, even after informing reception in the morning about a linen change, we returned tired from travel to find the room exactly as we had left it. Although the team eventually offered a room change, it took over an hour to arrange.

Adding to the frustration, our deposit was deducted without any explanation or prior notice, and we are still awaiting clarification.

I have stayed at multiple Marriott properties, including an excellent 8-night stay at Le Méridien, Mauritius, last September. This experience, however, did not reflect the same consistency or service standards I associate with the Marriott brand.

-1- The hotel has just performed a major renovation regarding the bar, breakfast and restaurant area - everything looks great.
-2- All the carpeting in the hallway and in the room should be updated!
-3- Very friendly staff from the receptionist to the waiter at the bar and restaurant - but the hotel is short with staffs, and there is only one server for the bar and restaurant.
-4- The room are spacious and \"reasonably\" clean - However, the cleanliness definitively needs improvement.
-5- Traveling and staying at the hotel is for business purposes only - so the location of the hotel is perfect

We booked this hotel so we could use the pool after checking in and getting on our bathing suits going to the pool a sign read that it was not open. Nobody at the front desk, alerted us. We would have checked out immediately and gone to another property. In the evening, we went down to use the fire pit. They said the fire pit was also in operable. So there are two major amenities that we could not use during our stay we are not very happy about that. And there was no refund or acknowledgment towards a refund to us. Food quality was marginal, the same breakfast was provided each morning no changes. We chose to dine elsewhere.

I made my reservation through Hotels.com specifically stating that this was a birthday celebration and I paid extra for a private balcony water view room. I called the hotel directly before we arrived to confirm that we received the room that I paid extra for. I also let them know on the phone that it was a special birthday celebration that we would be coming in from out of town. When we arrived, they informed me that they were not doing anything special for our birthday celebration, and that the room I paid extra for was given away. And that I would still be charged extra for the less extravagant room that no longer had a private balcony and shared a balcony with everyone on the first floor. I never stay at a Sheraton and will not be staying at the Sheraton again. The service was horrible and unacceptable.
