I stayed at this place twice now. I’m working overnight and I ask the property owner if there was any possible way for an early check in but all the rooms were being cleaned. So I was going to take a nape in my truck and wait about 10 later he knocked on my window and checked me into a room so I can get some rest, this was very kind of him because I’ve been to other places and they would make me wait till 3pm

Check in was easy. When I opened the door to the room,ni was shocked. Knowing it was a smoking room, I never thought the room would be so bad. The bed was soft but low to the ground. It was a king, only had two pillows, there was no fitted sheet(A flat sheet was used instead) and the only comforter was thin and full of holes. None of the outlets worked and couldn't even hold the weight of a charger base. All of the furniture was mismatched and the bathroom was small but it was clean. The towels were mismatch and dirty and I saw a baby roach crawling on the sink. This place was disgusting.

Nasty

When i checked in I noticed i was the onky guest there at that time, the owner placed me and my girlfriend in the very last room at the end. When we opened the door the heat hit us like we opened an oven. The walls were dirty the counter tops were dusty the bathroom was disgusting. While using the rest room I killed 3 cockroachs. While sitting on the bed i noticed 4 on the walls, there was what could have been cockroach poop or bed bugs on the white sheets behind the pillows. Needless to say we left!

DO NOT STAY HERE! The property is not what it is posted to be and completely unsafe. Upon arrival the staff did not speak English and were rude. Our rooms were dirty and smelled horrible, nothing worked and even the door had been kicked in the frame and lock was broken. When we brought this to their attention they barely responded and told us to “calm down” rather than addressing the concern professionally. Absolutely horrified this property is still in business.

A homeless shelter would be better than this dump!

The pictures on their site are nothing like the dump this place really is. Nasty linens, nasty shower, filthy towels. Curtains that provide little privacy, poor external lighting, and no smoke detectors. The floors pop and give some as you walk around. Honestly, this would be a sorry excuse for a homeless shelter, let alone a motel. I stayed for about 2 hours and checked right back out. If you’re in ridgecrest, CA and want a dump to stay in, maybe even catch a few things, this is your place.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay. I arrived late and the front desk worker was very friendly and responsive. The room was very clean and comfortable for the price. Room’s problems debase hotel’s true potential

At check-in Ben offered me a larger bed for same price - so I took it. Room had a musty smell, uncertain on the source (maybe A/C?). When I walked into bathtub area I found a cricket & beetle - both dead - on the floor. When I 1st used the microwave I noted the mechanism which turns the glass plate was missing, this caused my coffee cup to get scorched. Couldn’t help but notice the room paint job was piecemeal - various parts of room were clearly painted at different times, different shades on same wall. Loved the large shower head as well as the nice cold A/C.

Horrible place. The room photos shown are definitely NOT from this hotel. Rooms were very small. Not clean, stains on the sheets. Shower sprayed water all over the floor from the wall, shower curtain was torn. Owner barely let us have any extra towels, only allowed one towel per person and didn’t want to give any extra washcloths. Forfeited what I paid for the second night and booked another hotel. Would definitely not ever stay here again.

Stay Away

This is probably the most disgusting place I've ever stayed. This was slight preferable to sleeping in the car, though way less sanitary.

The towels had footprints on them, the beds, blankets, pillows all had dust which killed my allergies. My entire family refused to take their shoes off in the room. We complained and the owner came to the room to see if we needed anything.

He said he had no tissue box for us. He had to go to another room to give us a lightbulb for the lamp that would never turn on. There was no coffee machine. Sound from upstairs kept us up all night. Should have slept in the car.

Find another place

I wouldn't stay at the place again at any price. I considered switching hotels right after check in, as I saw two small roaches in the first few minutes. There is no coffee in the room (contrary to the listed amenities). Door was difficult to open and close, and the safety latch was broken. Smoke detectors removed. Power outlet for hair dryer didn't work. It was not very clean and daily housekeeping was inconsistent. Sheets had holes and stains. Shower head was taped on. No towel hooks or luggage racks.

The so-called discounted price I paid seemed like a great deal. Now I know better... This place should not be listed on hotels.com.

Terrible

My car was totaled on my way up and I had to cancel my reservation. I asked that if they can’t refund me I could at least reschedule because it was New Year’s Day, my car wouldn’t start and the mechanics were closed so there was no way I’d be able to make it up. They didn’t respond about rescheduling and rejected my refund request. It’s not very customer serving on the part of the hotel. As for hotels.com, you all shouldn’t be partnering with non refundable hotels if your business promises include refunds. I don’t understand in what world it makes sense for you to not be able to be refunded. Also when I was explaining my situation to the customer service agent, he was kinda rude, like he didn’t wanna deal with it and he cut me off a couple of times. Honestly I was annoyed with the policy but after speaking to the rep, I’m even more upset and won’t be booking through you all again
