nice staff, good hotel

good hotel, clean

Waited 20 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check in. There was a hole in the flooring, what looked like boogers on the wall in the bathroom, no washcloths. The towel for the floor in the bathroom was dirty. We have stayed before and it wasn't bad but after this time won't be going back.
GILBERT
good property for a one night stay
Gina
Parking and having to walk on pebbles and rocks to get to our room making it less than stable and safe for seniors. Also for breakfast. I removed 2 rotten oranges from the fruit bowl. The items in the fridge were warm and the scrambled eggs were cold and the sausage was undercooked. Also we had to call the lobby to find out where the complimentary breakfast was served because no one told us at check in.
Deborah
The was clean, the bed comfortable and I felt safe. It's a little out dated and could use a comfortable chair to sit in in the room.
Bailey
Very friendly, comfortable beds
Monica
Breakfast is great! Delicious! It’s an older property, has its charm. Pool was dirty. Hot tub jets and heater not working well. Gym was ok. Rooms are small. Toilet wasn’t working properly. This is just a spot to lay your head overnight and move on.

The alarm clock in the room went off at 2am even though I never touched it. I tried to reset it but could not so I unplugged it. I think it’s broken. Since everyone has an alarm clock on their phone the old one on the night stand should just be removed.
You could not get cool water at either the sink or bath tub so the problem is not at the faucet. When the faucet was all the way to cold the water was still well over 100 degrees so there is hot water mixing in somehow to the whole building. Even at the coldest setting the water at the sink and shower was almost too hot to use.
The jets in the outdoor hot tub shoot straight up making them odd. They need to be replaced by normal jets the shoot straight out.

Great property with a good restaurant on site
devin
Room was clean but very dated The facility was clean but showing extreme wear. The staff was very pleasant. Morning breakfast was ok
Dionne
Staff was nice, but…….most towels had stains. Only one wash cloth that had dark stains. Duck tape on the AC/heating unit. Stains on the bedspread. Fridge wasn’t plugged in and there was water in it that had to be cleaned.
DONALD
Washer wouldn't work after buying soap , getting quarters....packed up wet clothes
cynthia
Charles Pub had excellent food, amazing drinks. The staff was very professional.
Rodney
Had myself an amazing weekend at this facility and everyone should try. Try this hotel when you’re in town.

Always enjoy staying there. Nice rooms. Good front desk staff. The outdoor host tub is great.
Rita
I enjoyed the onsite restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The pool area is nice.
The bedding and pillows were very comfortable.
Everything else was good for the price. It’s a comfortable place to stay and I’d stay there again.
Staff was helpful.

The room was not as clean as I had hoped, but the staff was pleasant and welcoming.
Marina
Everything was nice except the rooms were connected and there was a gap under the connecting door and you could hear everything in another room.
Jackson
They let us sw in the pool and the rooms are very nice.
Jack
Location was good. Staff was accommodating and answered my request. The rooms were adequate for a brief stay… nothing to brag about. Plenty of other options if one were to seek more updated and modern amenities.
GILBERT
great hotel and onsite restaurant
Domenic
The property was very run down and the room was very old. I would not stay again and we have been staying here for many years.
Deborah
Bed was comfortable and staff were friendly.
Devon
Had a room with 2 double beds and one of them was sunk in. Shower head didn’t work and a piece of floss was still stuck on the shower wall from a previous guest. The walls are extremely thin. My neighbor had a dog and it was whining most of the night. Affordable but at what costs?
nick
Rooms were neglected. Very noisy!!!! People partying all night, paper thin walls.
frederick
The room was better the toilet was bolted down and didn’t move. We didn’t have the breakfast there due to the last episode from a couple days later
frederick
Everything was ok. The place is getting a little long in the tooth
JOHN
Quick, easy and friendly check-in, clean rooms, friendly staff, good quick breakfast and a great bar, “Charlie’s”, Great drinks, food, and service!!
Andreh
The room was not clean, the furniture old, the curtains ruptured. Water cold and low pressure.
Thomas
Nice room clean
Janice
Very friendly staff! :)
HEATHER
The rooms were dirty and the bedding was stained. I would not stay there again. The only reason for the 2 stars is because the staff was helpful.
Alfredo
Great hotel. I would stay again!

Very clean room. Easy cjeck in, good staff and reasonable rate
Alex
Check-in was simple, room was spacious, and having a restaurant on the premises was convenient. However, there was not enough towels in the room. More importantly of concern, their linens had stains; a pillow case had a dark stain, the towels had blood/mud stains, and the comforter had a nickel size dark stain that appeared to be blood. These stains were addressed with hotel staff and clean linens were provided upon my request.
Overall, it was a nice place to stay at, but their linens need to be addressed and improved!

The faucet had no temperature control in the bathroom... Was very disappointing
Ben
Nice, efficient check in.
Cory
Room was awful. The flooring had gaps and was peeling. The blanket on top had several large stains on it. The water pressure was abysmal, it kind of just oozed out the shower head. Ended up having to take a bath but it was so shallow it didn’t work out and it still took like 30 minutes to fill up. The tv was about 15 years old and had intense screen burn. I wouldn’t advise anyone stay there.
Angela
Staff is nice , room was clean, but could be kept up better. Chipped paint broken towel rack
Karyn
Small bed, yet comfortable. Great breakfast.
Silicia
The walls were thin and was not well insulated around door. I was enjoying family time and watching a movie and service associate came to do and said it was loud coming from our room. Did not be specific on what the noise was. Tv had to be loud could not hear on low volume. He blamed noise in kids. Need to understand there is going to be noise when family is on vacation and enjoying family time watching television and playing a family game.
Juan
My bed was broken
April
He was very rude to me. I have been there plenty of times he’s not a manager. He refused to get the manager try to charge me $100 deposit because I live in town and I already made a reservation online with the last of my money and still would not let me read room there and I’ve been there so many times it was ridiculous. He would not let me and I’ve never had any trouble.
Mycah
Room was clean. Really needs some matanenc
Karen
Staff at check-in was efficient and friendly.

This is a quick stop need to rest place, with breakfast.
The room was pretty much clean and neat. However the walls had weird holes in them and weird paint patches. Also the doora weather stripping needs to be repalced, you can awkwardly see through to the outside.
The AC was great, the TV gudie doesnt work, kitchenette applicanaces were fine.
Breakfast is at the restaurant and its ok. We had eggs, sausage, potatoes, and waffles. They had fresh individual milk for cereal. Standard pastries, muffins and toast. No hot ceral but you could order it at the restaurant. Good coffee creamers. Standard juices.
The ladies made it clear you couldnt take any food back to your room, so that was inconvenient for us but maybe not to others.
When we checked in, the host was blasting music and appeared to be on a date with a girl on the couch. I didnt care until i realized he was trying to rush us out and didnt give us any direction or basic assistance about our room, wifi, where breakfast would be located or anything.
The worsr part were the visible mouse traps in the hall way. I didnt see these until check out.

Everything there is good thank the staff for helping
Joe
Nice place, great staff, unfortunately pool wasn’t clean and room not very quiet. Nice breakfast and the restaurant is also good for dinner.
Paul
The place is incredibly beat up and old. Not clean, front desk staff did not report issue to maintenance but said they did. Smoke alarm went off during shower. There must be better places in Ridgecrest. Do not stay here.
Lorraine
Wonderful experience
I came to visit my son in Ridgecrest. I was so excited about coming to my grandson’s graduation at the end of May. I forgot my purse! The lady at the front desk asked if I had my id on my phone, or if someone could send it to me from home. The lady was very patient and worked with me. Didn’t just turn me away because I forgot my purse the barbecue pad in the pool area and all the tables made a wonderful experience for my grandson‘s graduation party. It was something small but very meaningful to him. I’m going back again in a few months!
The rooms were super clean, it was not a bother to ask for more towels since we forgot our own pool towels. The breakfast in the morning was awesome. It wasn’t just a bag with a few things in it. There were choices as my son is a diabetic. Just all over very wonderful experience!!

Nothing fancy...but reasonable prices...has a great pool area...

Very friendly staff, seamless checkin and checkout experience. Very helpful and attentionate staff also around the pool.
The infrastructure is in good condition and everything work well. Bed on the soft side, but still comfortable.
TV system on the other hand is very sluggish, and could do with an upgrade (like a chrome cast or sth similar).

Great location. Close to shopping, restaurants and a park. Pet friendly and good food on site.
Carolina
It was very quiet, clean, easy parking, nice pool & excellent staff service
Patricia
Like that the bedroom was clean, the tub & sink were clean, the toilet not so much. The baseboards throughout & the back of the bathroom door weren't cleaned recently. (It is in the desert :)
Beds were too soft for our taste, but linens were clean.
Front desk - welcoming & efficient. Housekeeping staff very friendly. Gave us extra towels, because we used the lovely pool & hadn't brought beach towels.
Quiet place to stay.
I think the restaurant in the same building was called Casey's, food was really good, staff very friendly, restaurant was very clean! Reasonably priced.
Would recommend to fellow travelers for a short stay.

Everything was great except for I plugged in the coffee maker and the circuit popped. We were able to reset it but I was afraid to try and plug it in again

Waffles work!
Karen
Our stay started off on the wrong foot. The night before I put in an email request to change our booking from a single king bed to a double queen. There was no reply from the hotel. When I checked in the hotel had no record of my change request, and charged an additional fee for the room. The room had two beds but they were full size beds, not queen and both sagged in the middle. I went to turn on the air conditioner but there was no power. It was a simple fix but required I get on my hands and knees to plug it in. Our next issue was the TV which was not hooked up correctly and required a call to the front desk to have someone adjust the setup. The following morning I went to take a shower which didn’t work. After breakfast we went back to the room but our key cards wouldn’t work. The office refreshed the cards, but again they did not work. The handyman (he was great) was able to open the door and would be back to repair it. We packed up our stuff, loaded the car and headed in for the last few items when the wind blew the door closed which required another trip to the office and another visit from the handyman.
Jesse
Room is clean and tidy. The hot tub jets not working. Free breakfast is one if the best we have had
martin
We had trouble flushing the toilet and in the morning of checking out the maid came knocking at 9am was told we are leaving in 1 hour so then came back knocking in 15 minutes.

2 star at best
Kind of tired and outdated. Needs sprucing up. Could not understand the check in hosts hard accent. Phone in the room wasn’t even hooked up. TV setup was confusing. Called for help but no one showed up
Dylan
No queen rooms as advertised.
Marla
The Clarion is a local, cozy, favorite destination for me, I would recommend it
Manoj
We booked this as a group of 2 families, and the staff were not ready to accommodate our request to provide 2 adjacent rooms. They later called us to check out instead of honoring the request.
Scott
Check in great . I had to ask for room to be cleaned maids never showed up and I ask for extra towels. Walked property in the morning for a morning walk and walkways sticky and filthy all over. My neighbor staying for construction in the area and their trucks loud and backed in and their exhaust was going right in air conditioning and they were loud as hell. Place needs a update.
Anthony
Restaurant closed
While checking in I was told the restaurant would close at 9:30pm and when I went for dinner they were closed at 8:30.
Rafael
This place was fine for a quick work trip. The breakfast was good and check in/out was smooth. The rooms and restrooms can use a good deep cleaning and some upgrades. Mattresses
ralph
The rooms are not clean and the room quality is not consistent. You never know what kind of room you get..last time was my last time.
James
Good hotel. Seems well run. But the bathrooms really need some towel racks in the sink area.
Joseph
There are many choices for motels in Ridgecrest so when we had to pack up our camping site at Red Rock Canyon State Park in a wind emergency and find a place to stay on short notice while sitting on the side of Hwy 14, we had to decide quickly based on reviews & price. If you're willing to pay over $200 per night, there are probably very reliable places to stay. For under $200 per night, this is probably your best option. The breakfast is so good that after 9am it becomes a public restaurant and the local seniors and others flock to it. The pool & spa are well maintained. In general, it was a very nice campus. The check-in clerk referred us to Albertaco's for a late night bite and he was spot on. Another place to check out is the Ven restaurant near HD. And don't forget the Red Rock Books, a gem in the desert.
