Loud guests were not put in check or controlled, parking lot turned into a \"party\" every night including water balloon fights and kids running wild. The same guests made it so that the hotel staff closed the pool because of their rowdy behavior, and the front desk was hardly ever attended. I do not recommend staying here.

I enjoyed my brief stay at Americinn. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious but lacked basic necessities such as hand soap or adequate towels but front desk would be ready to get these for you. Free breakfast although I didn’t eat there. I would stay here again!

Room was clean my complaint is the bathroom… toilet paper was very low upon arrival so by morning we were out. The towels were very small only had 1 per person. I believe the towels we had were the same ones that are used for swimming pool. Room wasn’t refreshed with clean towels, coffee, or empty the garbage. I think hotel was under staffed for the amount of guests and supplies need to be ordered to accommodate for basic needs. I also heard many guests complain about blankets or lack of they were cold!!!

Parking is behind the motel, in a small lot that seems to attract teenage kids. There was a great deal of shouting around midnight, some engine-revving, and mayhem in general. The pool was pretty rowdy too. The walls in this motel are thin, so we could hear other voices. The room was clean, and the beds were pretty comfortable. Pillows are small and square, and consequently they're hard to maneuver for comfort. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room we were assigned wasn’t cleaned. Reassigned another room. No soap in the bathroom. The outside was a mess. Garbage everywhere. Poor looking landscape. The TV needed a programming expert to operate. It just was a very poor experience.

The property overall looked nice and updated, especially the outside area and lobby, which gave a good first impression. However, the room we stayed in was disappointing. There was a strange, old smell as soon as we walked in, the carpet had an off odor, and the bed sheets had visible stains. The bathroom showed signs of rust and didn’t seem as clean as expected. On top of that, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash containers were not refilled.

The carpet wasn’t clean plus it hadn’t been vacuumed. The Refrigerator had so much ice frozen on it it couldn’t be utilized the way it supposed to be used, & on top of that it wasn’t even cold 😡!!

They had work in progress during our stay that closed off part of the parking lot. We were unaware that this would be going on during our stay -- we would have reconsidered our stay if we had known. Also we would have expected to pay less considering the inconvenience, but the rate was higher than we had paid before. The bed pillows were flimsy and the air conditioner was quite loud. The TV had limited channels, but the desk staff was able to reset it when we asked about it. Their listing also said there was a hot tub in the pool area -- there was not.

It was alright. The pool was SUPER cold (almost too cold to swim in), and the continental breakfast was practically gone by 7:30 (it started at 6:30 and went until 9:30). The rooms were alright.

A Renovated Comfort Inn and I know why

This building was renovated but I believe it to be surface repairs because there was a water leak in our room which was causing the wallpaper to peel away. The housekeeping turned off the AC on a day of 96 degree weather. Not smart and it left the room stale and hot. Outside of these issues, it was sufficient for the one night we stayed.

The breakfast was kind of lame, I avoid gluten as much as possible and the only options for breakfast were, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, wheat cereal, sausage and yogurt. The television would not allow me to access any of the channels listed on the the sheet provided, I honestly have no idea how it worked so I had to watch on a lap top. The staff was quite friendly and that was greatly appreciated.

The pool was being cleaned I guess, it was empty with some nasty looking water in the bottom- you have to walk by it to get to elevators.,, at least they could cover the windows so it is not seen.
Then there was a bunch of mattresses & box springs out at the trash - set the pick up for that same day you set them out… don’t have them sitting at the the end of your parking lot- first thing I thought was bed bugs!… and would have left if I could have gotten my money back….
And no towels…. Had to wait for towels-each day and got one with a big spot… and the elevator door wouldn’t close and had to take stairs - front desk said - ‘ oh yeah it does that’ … really? That’s the answer?.. bathroom wasn’t stocked with toilet paper had to ask cleaner and she was running around trying to find some tp for us, and no soap in bathroom- had to ask for it too.
Had to go to Quincy for funeral and thought it was ‘ok’the last time - even tho last time the kids broke out from using the pool- the price was ok for what we needed this time / but probably won’t stay here again. A property by Wyndham should not be this bad..,, the other Wyndham property in Quincy is only a little better,

Very clean and staff was very friendly. We did not use the pool, but did see others utilizing it. We were in town for 24hrs with family and the manager was very kind in helping with a special request. We will definitely stay again. Location was also provided easy and direct access to local business. Morning breakfast was perfectly simple and filling, a very wonderful balance!

I use to stay in this hotel a lot, however this last time it was not the best, the front desk guy charge me again, even though i had payed it through Expedia, the person at the end fix the issue, but it was something i was not counting on. Feeling like I’ve been scammed

The room itself was very average but on the more uncomfortable side. I asked in the booking notes if they could make the sofa bed up for my daughter as I wasn’t sure what time we’d get in, but it hadn’t been done, so I had to ask for extra bedding/pillows to do ourselves. The pool was very old and tired - I only went in for about ten minutes and felt gross. Breakfast was only available until 9am which was disappointing.

My biggest complaint is that I was asked if I’d already paid for the reservation when we arrived and I said yes, through Hotels.com. I was asked then to present a card for a $100 deposit that would be show as pending then returned upon checkout, which was fine. It has now been 5 days since check out and my card has two charges that have fully gone through. My guess is that they are the deposit plus the room charge. They are in addition to the initial booking charge on my other card. I challenged this before check out and was assured it would be sorted. I have since raised a complaint and have heard nothing. I now have $175 of charges taken from my bank that cannot be used otherwise for bills, groceries, etc. I am hoping this is sorted before I am forced to pursue fraudulent charges with my bank.

On the back of this experience, I would not stay with this chain in future.

Should have slept in my truck

The air conditioner worked really well and the room was very clean. The front desk staff was friendly and remained calm when it got busy. The hotel was busier than expected due to a local event.

But the bathroom was so small that the door was practically in-between your legs when you were sitting on the toilet. The bathtub was dripping all night. The bed was uncomfortable. The price was 3x what it normally would have been due to the local event. Hotels sure do know how to jack their prices to earn a quick buck.

Room was clean and apparently recently updated. Fixtures and appliances all in good working order. Furniture was all in good shape. Plenty of outlets for devices. Only disappointment in furniture was the lack of a dresser. For a 3 day stay, it would have been nice not to live out of the suitcase. Smart TV, but not able to connect to the internet to stream Prime or Hulu. Asked about it and was told management set it that way as customers were forgetting to log out and others were renting movies on the customer's accounts. Also, supposed to have cable channels up to 49, but we only got about 8 or 9. Asked someone to look into it, but nothing changed. Breakfast was nothing special, some cereal and bread, a few hot items. Seemed to have trouble keeping some basics in stock.
