This was a great little resort. Beautiful view. Property grounds were very well maintained. Staff were very helpful and even upgraded our room when our original room was not quite ready yet. We absolutely plan on coming back to this spot!

I absolutely loved this place! Everything was so clean, and housekeeping came every morning to make the bed and refresh the towels, which was a nice touch. The shower even had a handheld shower head, which I appreciated.

The outdoor atmosphere was incredibly calm and peaceful, with multiple pools and BEAUTIFUL landscaping throughout the property. The private beach was spotless, and the water was crystal clear.

The restaurant served delicious food, and one of my favorite parts was the island dogs at the resort—they had the sweetest personalities and were so well-behaved! I honestly thought they belonged to someone vacationing there 😅

I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

The room was spacious and clean. The 2 pools were nice. The main restaurant was nice. The hot water was not really warm in our room, even after maintenance came out to look at it in our room specifically. Our son had a room a few doors down and his hot water worked well. The resort was quiet, and beautiful. The bar's drinks were strong. Our biggest complaint is that we tried to book the all-inclusive when we arrived at the resort and we were told we had to pre-book that. We booked within 24 hours of arriving so that wasn't possible. The more "reasonably priced" restaurant onsite was not open every night, and the burger/bbq restaurant was not open when listed Thursday or Friday. We stayed Monday night to Saturday morning. Dinner option was limited on 2 different nights to the fancy Restaurante Alexandra only, which we did not find worth the cost for the service and food. This resort was pretty far from other restaurant options even with a rental car. The nearest thing we saw was a Burger King and it was about 10 to 15 minutes away because the seaside resort is on a very curvy mountainous road, beautiful views but slow going drive. Also the ocean next to the resort has jellyfish. There is a warning sign on the dock and I got stung walking to the swim platform and a little kid got stung several times. The resort cannot control wildlife, but a few more warning signs would have been nice. We definitely would stay again but only with the All-Inclusive package.

staff is nice but not helpful / i could not get my car at the airport so i was hoping they would help me to get one but apart giving me phone numbers with people not answering they could not help - not even taxis - they give you list of numbers and that’s it - only one staff number tried to help me
the next issue is the activities - they do not offer day trips except boat or kayak trips to the inlet facing the resort
this hotel is located in a very remote area so they have to offer day trips and activities it is very important
then the next issue is the palmas restaurant kitchen and service / this is so so slow they call it beach time
the room cleaning service is excellent
rooms are nice and clean but very old particularly the bathrooms
the room views on the garden are beautiful particularly if you are ground floor
the pools are good except the fact it’s hard to get towels (for some reasons they are always in the dryer )
the beach is beautiful but careful this if a very closed bay so water soil is very very muddy like similar to a lake
again the view is very beautiful so you can spend days by the pools

Staff and room was fantastic. Internet was down for the week which meant we had to get a staff member to unlock the room. Food service of restaurant seemed slow and overwelmed. Enjoyed remote and quiet location. Resort was large and not crowded. Check reviews of the second restaurant.

Not worth the price. The food was poor, staff was either great or did not care about the guests. Location did not have much to do. The private beach was not well maintained. The site seemed to be focused more on large groups and weddings rather than individual guests (the almighty dollar). Some friends on the island say this used to be the happening place…..those days have long gone apparently.

La entrada del resort era espléndida. Muchos hermosos bonsai, cactus y arboles. El personal es atento y amable. El cuarto muy acogedor y limpio. Jacuzzi climatizado en el área de la piscina. Gazebo flotante ideal para tomar unos tragos y pasar tiempo con tu pareja. Hay áreas de juego y piscina para los niños. Entrar al Spa es como entrar en otra dimensión, muy relajante. La salida hacia la Isla Gilligan te permite conectar con la naturaleza y explorar mucho.

La experiencia fue excelente. Desde que te reciben en el checkin hasta el check out todos los empleados te atienden con amabilidad. Es un hotel con un ambiente tranquilo perfecto para tener unos días de relajación y pasarla bien en familia. Los servicios en Ni SPA me encantaron. La habitación limpia y con una vista espectacular. El hotel también cuenta con varios lugares de entretenimiento y para hacer deporte. Muy pronto volveré!

Específicamente el trato extraordinario de la bartender del area de la piscina, Barbara, el mesero del Restaurante Alexandra, Carlos y el executive chef de la propiedad, Fernando. I was born in Puerto Rico and moved back to the US when I was a kid come back to Puerto Rico frequently. This was absolutely my best day at this hotel. Everything about this place was magical. It was perfect for people with kids. My children enjoyed themselves. It was a safe location, quiet my children are the only people on the beach at 8 AM. It was just so nice. We definitely will be coming here more often.

Visited with two kids one 19 the other 7 has a great stay at the Copamarina Beach resort. is not overly large but it’s very spacious. Rooms are a little dated and small but overall the resort was very well maintained beach and pool stay open 24/7. Restaurant had good food and even better drinks. Draw back it’s expensive and you are charged for every little things. Had to check out the beach towels and check them back in or you’ll have $25 fee for unreturned beach towels.

Beach is insanely beautiful but the hotel is completely rundown. Rooms need to be completely remodeled. AC in rooms need to be replaced. Service at the bars and restaurants was not good. $350 a night for this property is just not value for your money.

The hotel grounds are well maintained. And rooms are clean and mostly maintained. Our latch plate on our door only had one screw and no fan in bathroom. We would stay again. It is a lower cost resort out of the way if you like that verses resorts on top of each other…

Amazing family vacation!

We had an amazing stay at the Copamarina Beach resort! We stayed at the Hyatt Regency near San Juan for the first several nights of our trip and then traveled across the island for a quick visit (and snorkel) in Rincon and then down to Guanica to the Copamarina. This resort has a different "vibe" (as my teenagers put it) than the Hyatt - more relaxing, quiet, much more focus on the beach and accessing the ocean, although the kids also loved the pools. We loved renting the paddleboards to use on the beautiful calm bay and we even rented a little sailing catamaran (Hobie Cat) which my teenage son (who is a sailor) took us all out in - it was magical! The team at the resort had to do some work to rig the HobieCat for us since they don't get much use, and we really appreciated their efforts to make the experience possible for us. We enjoyed the foot at the Las Palmas outdoor restaurant on the property which was easy to use and had great food and service (the breakfast buffet was a bit light on options, but otherwise great!). The area near the resort was beautiful and calm, not crazy and touristy like the San Juan area. We took an outing into Parguera to do the evening boat tour of the nearby bioluminescent bay (highly recommend this, we used Parguera Water Sports and Adventure tour company) from Copamarina and that worked great! Would HIGHLY recommend this resort for a family vacation that is outside of the usual chains and outside of the crazy tourist areas.

Beutiful, well maintained boutique resort with recently renovated rooms, dining room and bar and pool. Good service and dining. Take poor reviews with pinch of salt. The only minor downside for us was that the second dining room had a function on the night we wanted to use it / but regular dining room is just fine.
