A nosotros nos encanta el hotel pero esta vez fue decepcionante el desayuno,antes los desayunos eran deliciosos y calientes,yo se que todo ha aumentado, pero no puedes bajar tanto en calidad!!!!Ahhh,no tenían pan,pregunté si fue que se acabó y me dicen que el pan era para los que compraban desayuno,me quedé brutaaaa!!!

El personal del hotel muy amable, todo limpio, es un hotel hermoso, pero en cuestión al restaurante no pudimos comer porque tenía solo dos empleadas y estaba sumamente lleno y la espera fue demasiado y nos tuvimos que ir, en el desayuno estaba frío, los pancakes eran congelados y estaban duros.

The hotel was nice, it has a small casino that closes at 12 midnight and a billiard area. McDonald’s is a 3 min drive from the hotel (which helps when you have kids along). Since it was Saturday the hotel had live music and the musicians played very well! The hotel had 2 pools and the one with the slide (for kids) kept the children entertained. There was also a pool side bar which is great for people/couples without children. Rooms were clean and quiet and staff were friendly and helpful.
The on site restaurant is only good if you are buying breakfast which I recommended you do. We had dinner there and it was not good. The beans were rancid and the red snapper was not fresh.
I originally thought their complimentary breakfast might be good but it was awful consisting of powdered eggs and the pancakes that come frozen and you place in a toaster. The pancake was rubbery and I couldn’t eat it either.
Two good breakfast items which were complimentary were their sausage links (but that’s not filling) and their coffee. So long as you do not book this hotel for reasons of a free breakfast, then it’s a good hotel with lots of options including a gym that closes at 10 pm.

It is a great place to stay. However, on this visit I noticed that it needs attention to the following details to get 5 stars. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great because it is easily accessible. The room was nice and quiet and clean. Here were the issues:
1. Loose ceiling tile in bathroom.
2. No fridge in room
3. Small and out dated TV. Channels were not clear.
4. Ice machine was out of service.
5. Security latch was broken on our door.
6. Pool was nice and clean, but there was iguana poop on the lawn chairs. Leaves needed to be vacuumed from the bottom of the pool.
7. The Koi pond was extremely green and the Koi were unattended to. It was disgusting I felt sorry for the Koi.
These details need to be addressed because it is a great hotel that I love to go to, but the details do matter.

I stayed at Costa Bahía Hotel several times and the have no complaints. They serve free breakfast, the rooms were clean, the staff was helpful, the casino was small in size and it could have more machines with better payouts.

The rudest receptionist around and no manager in site for days. My husband speaks Spanish I do not. I’m working on learning the language. I asked my husband when we were waiting at the desk, why he was upset. He proceeded to tell me in English that he was upset because there was no parking in the front for guests and we had to park back in the employee parking the receptionist busted into our conversation, demanded that my husband treat her with respect because he can’t talk about the hotel that way. when he wasn’t even talking to her or being rude to her. Until this point. Then they proceeded to speak to me in Spanish and ignore my husband. Oh and by the way, guess who we saw getting into her white vehicle, parked in front of the hotel the rude receptionist. The room also had no wash rags when I requested two wash rags and an extra blanket after a day. We finally received the wash rags. The main pool by the side is very cloudy and was for the two days that we were there. A smaller pool in the back is a very nice pool, but they really need to clean it more than once a day it’s covered with floating leaves and debris. I usually let a lot of things go this I will not let go because of how rude inconsiderate the receptionist was.

A good experience. The hotel looks nice. It has a casino, live singers, pools for kids and adults, a gym, a coffee shop, pool tables, and even booth vendors that come on weekends to sell their crafts.
The only things that I hope they fix are:
Have someone to clean the adult pool regularly.
Add more light to the rooms.
Add hams to breakfast, not just sausages.

It’s a good hotel and it’s located in the middle of everything you can do, shopping, beaches, casino, etc.. there was a few problem like no refrigerator in my room, tv remote control was not working and one of the lights was not working either..

I stayed at this hotel for a week, and it did not live up to expectations—especially for the high nightly rate. It’s marketed as a hotel and convention center, but the reality feels closer to a rundown motel in serious need of renovation.
The property is outdated and poorly maintained. My in-room phone didn’t work the entire stay, forcing me to go to the front desk for any request. That’s not just inconvenient—it’s a safety concern in case of emergencies. Cleanliness and management were also lacking. The entrance often had groups of locals lingering, and parking was difficult in the evenings because many spaces were taken by non-guests.
Security presence felt minimal. I rarely saw staff making rounds, and there were no visible hallway cameras—only in the lobby. The online photos are misleading, showing only the front lobby, which is the only well-kept area. The rest of the hotel tells a very different story, with even basic amenities like ice machines not working.
During multiple stays, including my most recent March 2026, the room conditions were unacceptable. There were broken dressers, damaged bathroom tiles, ceiling stains from leaks, and worn furniture. When I reported it, the manager laughed and said not to worry because I wouldn’t be charged, admitting many rooms have similar damage.
For the price, you expect clean, functional, and welcoming accommodations. This property falls far below that standard.
