Very nice, but….

Loved the pool and the bed was comfortable, but only 1 towel each. Liquid soap but no wash towels. No pool towels.
No complimentary coffee in the room.

Tuve una experiencia muy buena en el restaurante, la comida estuvo excelente! El lugar en general es tranquilo, perfecto para relajarse, y la vista a la bahía es simplemente espectacular. Las habitaciones podrían beneficiarse de una renovación, ya que se sienten un poco anticuadas, pero en general disfruté mucho la estadía. Un sitio con potencial y definitivamente un buen spot para una escapadita en el sur.

Mashy smell in the rooms.
Free Internet is advertised, but not provided, no internet. They say that Internet sometimes available near the office, but the staff could not check us out because there was no internet for them to charge our credit card.
Coffee machine in the room (primitive, with a paper filter) does not make 4 cups of coffee, it turnes off after making one. I have learned how to make four, you just need to turn it off and turn it on four times, and it boils the water.
For the meal \"ribs\" the restaurant offers two ribs. Not half rack, just two. The quality of the food is low overall, we stopped going to the hotel restaurant after two attempts, nearby coffee shop has breakfasts much cheaper and cooked with quality.
TV remote does not work as it is not programmed.
We stayed for 8 days, no fresh change of sheets.
Hair dryer that we asked for at the reception/office comes in a large plastic box. The same box has hair drier extensions inside, but from a different model of a hair drier, so those do not fit.
Not enough electrical outlets in the room.
Our AC leaked and flooded the room (can happen anywhere), and we have informed the office, they promised to inform maintenance next day. They have forgotten, so no one showed up, and once we reported it again they behaved surprised.

If you have means stay elsewhere.

A wonderful find. An older hotel but clean and comfortable with an accommodating staff. It is a basic stay with no frills but that’s it’s charm. The restaurant had varying hours, was reasonably priced and food was good. Would recommend Parador Guanica for a relaxing get away.

El propósito de mi estadía fué asistir a la boda de un familiar. Asi que no tuve oportunidad de caminar las areas. Me mantuve en la habitación. Estaba organizado y con olor a limpio. Con sus toallas y Jabon liquido para el aseo. Buen aire acondicionado y cama King cómoda para descansar. Al segundo día nos proveyeron con toallas limpias, cambio de bolsas de basura y reciclaje, papel higienico. La habitacion tiene microondas y nevera pequena. Tambien gavetero, y podio para maleta; y una pequeña area para colgar la ropa en gancho. Era lo necesario para mi en ese momento. La piscina se vía muy deseable; pero no tuve tiempo de entrar. De mi habitacion podia Verla. El recibimiento fue cordial, amable y rápido. Al hacer mi reservacion y pago con Expedia, no tuve que pagar nada adicional al momento de entrada o salida. Lo cual para mi fué excelente y sin sorpresas de último momento.
A unos 5 minutos hay lugares para comer y hacer compras en Econo. Además de el area del pueblito que ofrece otras variedades de negocios locales.
Para mi fue una experiencia positiva que me proveyó lo que necesité para la ocación y situación. Espero le sea útil mis comentario.

The hotel itself is a nice place. There are some other structures on the premises, however, that look like they haven't been used in some years and are in need of repair. But don't let that dissuade you. It's a clean, quiet place with beautiful nearby scenery. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Quaint , nice old property- amazing location. Pool was very nice - although they don’t like to provide towels - a problem since only a few in the room. Clean furnishings but dated in room. Main problem: 7 -730 am - staff arrives and is a din or loud voices. Completely indifferent to guest rooms / disturbing in early am for guests traveling to PR from other parts of the world. No sleeping after 7-730 am - very, very suboptimal. Would like to stay there again but for the noise in morning.

Really nice pool area. Wi-Fi was so so in my room but I was in the back of the building. Good everywhere else. Restaurant not open every day. Comfy room and nice bathroom. Playa Santa is just down the road and has food and drinks and a great swimming beach.

Room very very small, windows don’t open so no fresh air. Not enough outlets, had to get extension cord to plug in coffee machine. Only one night stand, and you only get 1 towel per person.. no face towel or wash cloth. I do not recommend staying here. Also behind building, where you look into bay, lots of miscellaneous stuff thrown back there. Nice pool though but you have to “buy” a pool towel. Really!
