The place pictured went under. The business moved across the street. We were told they had the same amenities and the staff was very nice but the picture and description I held in my hand had nothing in common. What I paid for and was excited to experience was not what we were offered. The picture should not still be posted!

Areas verdes amplias y bien cuidadas. Escacez de empleados en el restaurante para el desayuno pero el que había fueron muy atentos e hicieron su mejor esfuerzo. Las habitaciones necesitan un poco mas de mantenimiento, mejor limpieza , las losas del baño algunas rotas y otros detalles.

The area is amazing. Some of the staff (i.e. Luz) were amazing and other seems to just walk through the motions. Overall, the place is great but it is a bit dated. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thoroughly enjoyed.

This property was dirty and unkempt, the staff was unhelpful and unapologetic. The room was dirty, the a/c had mold, the paint was peeling off the wall. We had to buy our own toiletries, even the basic ones like hand and body soap. Nothing was done to resolve the matter. We had to leave and they refused to give us a refund. This place is not suitable to host anyone who expects basic cleanliness.

El cuarto que esta en la foto de la compra no es la correcta.el cuarto es muy chiquito. 2 no hay planchas 3. El baño esta sucio el aguas sale fria con poca presion de aguas. El aire acondicionado no fusionan correctamente y estaba sucio.

El parador es espectacular, sus paiajes y todas las area verdes estan bien acondicionadas, tiene una piscina hermosa, al frente tiene un rio espectacular, sus aguas super cristalinas. tiene area de columpios, cancha de baloncesco y voleiball arena, tiene una hermosa terraza pub con vista al rio, paseos a caballos, tienen una mini granja de conejos, nemú, gansos, pony, burro y hasta un venado. Tienen area para acampar espectacular con failidades de baños y duchas limpias. Las villas son sencillas, limpias y prácticas. El restaurante muy bueno y su personal super amable. Y aceptan mascotas y perros de servicio, el ambiente muy apto para ellos.
Cosas que pudieran mejorar, iluminacion solar para los caminos o veredas, el mattre del sofa cama, en la villa necesitan cambio urgente no esta apto para utilizarlo. por lo demas, todo espectacular.

The rooms could be better cleaned. The breakfast was ok but cold, the oatmeal was delicious. I’m absolutely bothered by the animal section. They are in tiny dirty and stinky cages. They look like they are not being taken care of at all !! And the rabbits !!!! They are in the teeniest cages that they can’t even turn around and are all looking like they are in need of medical attention. Extremely sad conditions

The property is due a face lift and rooms could be cleaner. But the major issue is the inhumane treatment of the animals on the property. Animals in cages they don't fit in. Some were very sick. It was trully heartbreaking.

Buena experiencia en el parador Sotomayor. Cuartos cómodos, equipados, limpios y privados. Caminando puedes llegar al restaurante o a un bar que venden tragos y picaera en buen ambiente. Lo que recomiendo es que agranden el espacio para los animales de granga que tienen. Tienen espacio de más para hacer jaulas más grandes y cómodas para ellos.

I like the natural space but for a group of more of 2 people the stay will be not pleasant because the bed in the couch is terrible we have to sleep in the floor and this look like the original from the beginning of the place , and if you want to sleep early you need to heard the music from the bar

Quiet place for relaxing and resting. Comfortable cool temperatures. Friendly staff. Perfect for stargazing. Sofa bed very uncomfortable and needs replacement. A/C unit had no remote control, so had to call the front desk to turn it off because it was not necessary. Our room was #27.

The place outside is beautiful; our room looked completely renovated for a handicapped guest BUT, it was dangerous reaching for toilet paper in front of the toilet (nothing next to it or on the side) and there was NO phone to contact the front desk to require assistance. There’s always room for improvement.

We went as a family of 4 to enjoy the mountains and the chilly weather in PR. We were pleasantly surprised with the facilities, and the grounds which were beautiful, lots of photo opportunities. We lost power for about 12hours but only noticed because we could hear the generator in the distance. I was comforted to see that we were covered with the generator. The villas are nice, they are on the small side considering the amount of space the facilities have, but it does not affect the experience at all as they have all the amenities you need. My only pet peeve is that there are no food/snack options after 8:30pm, the restaurant is closed and there are no vending machines available. Overall we had a lovely time with our girls (ages 3 and 4) they loved going horseback riding, visiting the animals and playing in the playground.

The room was next to the service area when I was offered a “mountain view”. The air conditioner was making a horrible sound, which I mentioned in the counter but nobody went to check it. Also there was no way to control the temperature of the room, and it was very unpleasant for me. It wasn’t a comfortable stay at all.

The landscape is beautiful and staff very polite. It’s a shame our villa was so filthy. Dusty windows, screens and floor. Saturday morning we advised the front desk staff about the aforementioned, expecting they would send maintenance staff to properly clean the room. To our surprise, they just picked the garbage.
Yesterday I found a dead roach inside the closet. Very poor lighting in the living area. Lastly, had a repulsive experience, since I found a roach leg in my breakfast. Also, please be advise they don’t have “hairdryers available upon request”! We couldn’t been more dissatisfied and disappointed.

The room is not seal and to many insect was inside and at night time I have bugs running on my face and arms . Also all night was a little seed falling at the roof and I can’t sleep all night . Wonderful place in the mountains with perfect view and plenty of green everywhere around!

The staff was helpful and positive.

The rooms were tidy, very well cleaned, having everything needed.

The facilities around were plenty, but some weren't open and available as we expected, probably because of Covid and the ongoing 9pm quarantine.

Location is really nice rooms are updated and clean, breakfast was good and the bar drinks. Some of the facilities need work you could noticed some work had started but not completed. The facilities need more lights in the shared areas and some additional activities to do on the premises. Property does not offer pool towels even thought you are renting a \" room\" some of the facilities are old and deterriorated.

My family stayed there for Mother's Day weekend. It is a nice relaxing atmosphere in the countryside of Puerto Rico. Everybody stayed on the same villa that had 2 bedrooms. The included breakfast was very nice and plentiful. The horseback ride was very enjoyable. Unfortunately bc of the pandemic some attractions were not open but it was still a wonderful weekend.

Disappointed, the villa smell really bad,They change our room but that first experience.....The place is run down, the poor animals in the cages, no space to run. Not worth the money spent. No returning for sure. I try to cancel the next day, they didn’t allowed or want to give a break .

The place was clean with a nice nature ambient, at night you’ll be serenaded by the coqui frogs. The set backs : only provided bath towels, no washcloths or hand towels, no phone to contact the front desk, the tv channels were very limited.The checkout process took about one hour.
I was informed that I couldn’t get a checkout receipt because I booked online which is not logical since I could not leave before the check out inspection.
