Lovely guesthouse with an owner who clearly takes a pride in it. Everything has been recently decorated so it’s like new. My room was great with a lovely view and an amazingly comfortable bed. The owner showed me some of the other rooms also, each with its own unique style. A cracking questhouse if you are going to be in Ollantaytambo.

Aesthetically, it is a very pleasing hotel. There are common areas where you can lounge around while being in the sacred valley.
Rooms were great, beds were super comfortable, shower water was warm.
Location is also great, a 2-3 minute walk from the plaza de armas, allowing the hotel to be quiet at night while you want to sleep.
If it wasn’t clear, I recommend Parwa for all of my friends and family! Thank you for the hospitality to Jorge and his family.

The owner and family at the guesthouse are very nice people, and the actual room we stayed in was in good condition and clean when we arrived. However my biggest criticism is that wifi was fully unusable in the room, and that every night hundreds of small flies would enter the room. This would be fine by itself, but room service is only everyother day, so it meant coming back to a room covered in dead flies. Despite this i still think this is one of the better options in Ollantaytambo.

It was also very convenient for walking to the train station for our early morning trip to Machu Picchu. Parwa Guest House in Ollantaytambo was a very nice place to stay. they held our luggage for three days as we went to Machu Picchu. They recommended an excellent restaurant in Ollantaytambo town square where we ate after dropping off our luggage. We ate there again when we returned. Parwa Guest House serves a delicious breakfast starting with a very nice fruit bowl. It had a bed and breakfast feel to it. Jorge and his wife are so friendly, and they helped us with other questions we had before our trip started. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely quiet stay in the guest house (apart from when the washing machines were in use outside!). Jorge was very accommodating in looking after our luggage while we went to Macchu Pichu. My only disappointment was that we booked our room specifically because it said there was a private hot tub, but when we arrived we were told there wasn’t one, yet it is still advertised as having one… so just don’t book this place for the hot tub!

Sound travels easily in the house so it can be noisy at times. Otherwise it’s an excellent place to stay. A short and very scenic walk to the plaza which has tons of great restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops and spas. The owner Jorge and his staff took excellent care of us.

Amazing stay and amazing host and staff! Place is nicely decorated, great location, very friendly and helpful host that gave us a lot of tips and suggestions to plan the entire trip. Rooms where very nice and extremely comfortable. Close to the river. Fresh fruit, eggs, local bread and local jams for breakfast!

We enjoyed our stay here. Relative to the other hotels around, I thought this was a very comfortable stay. Jorge was really helpful and coordinated safe and flexible transport. Bed was comfortable and room was nice.

Fantastic guest house with comfortable bed and clean rooms. The only problem we had was with hotels.com. the room we booked was unavailable and hotels.com would not refund and in the past I was able to get a human on the phone but I was unable and the reservation was unable to be cancelled. This is what happens when bots take over. Hotels.com be advised you messed up big time.

First of all, we were told that our reservation is not there and then he found out when I showed the confirmation. Water was dripping/leaking from the roof during our stay, no hot water at all (reported to the front desk and he said they are out of gas)- our family including kids took a cold shower we it was raining outside :(

Everyone was very nice just like every Peruvian we’ve interacted with. However, at least our room was not up to what we expected. Foots were dirty, bathroom sink leaked water onto the floor, and it was VERY loud. We could hear people speaking upstairs and on the streets very clearly, and got woken up very early in the morning by the very loud doorbell and people talking. I would not stay here again, it wasn’t a place to rest.

This appeared to be a family run hotel. All of the staff was very friendly, professional, and attentive. The property was very clean and very pretty! Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous! The table was set just for our family (and additional tables were set specifically for other guests as well). Assorted fruit was served with bread and jams and a large plate of scrambled eggs. On the first night, when my sister took the shower, the water was barely lukewarm. Very soon, it turned completed cold, and then the cold water also stopped flowing after a few minutes. My sister was in the shower with shampoo in her hairs! We told the host, but he cannot do anything and asked us to try again the next morning. We had to use the bottled water we purchased to brush our teeth, and we cannot flush the toilet. The cold water started trickling in the morning with no hot water. When we returned from our day trip the second day, I ask the host if we had hot water. He said yes. Then the same thing happened again. There was some hot water (with fluctuating temperatures) for a few minutes, once the hot water stopped flowing, the cold water also stop flowing after a few minutes. The host waived our laundry cost (110 soles, less than USD$30) to make this up, but the compensation was so trivial compared to the USD$300+ rent we had to pay for the two-room suite, considering it failed to provide the most essential water required for lodging. The place also has no AC or heat. We had to open the windows to cool the room to sleep, but it became too cold when it's near the sunrise. I got a sore throat and a cold when I woke up in the cold air. We were so disappointed with this disastrous experience.

The Parwa has a great breakfast and the king room was super comfortable. The owner is always available if you need anything. This is such a fun town and close to many Inca ruins. Tip… do the via ferrata and zip line tour.

Jorge was a fabulous host. He answered all our questions and was eager to assist when needed. He offered wonderful dinner suggestions and prepared a nice little breakfast for us each morning. Our room was lovely and cleaned daily. The sound from room to room did travel but I think that is typical based on our other accommodations in our time in Peru. We highly recommend you stay here. This lovely accommodation is close to everything yet far enough away from the square it is a peaceful stay.

Had an enjoyable stay at this family run guest house. The property is well located for exploring the historical streets of Ollantaytambo and is within a 10 minute walk to the main square or entrance to the ruins. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the train station or a moto taxi is available. Facility is immaculately clean and rooms have a rustic charm. The included breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, rolls and jam with cereal and eggs also available. Breakfast was small but tasty and sufficient to start our day. The owners are wonderful people who made us feel very welcome. They were very helpful during our stay. The only negative about was lack of sufficient hot water at times. But we would definitely stay at Parea Guest House again.

There are so many wonderful things about Parwa Guest House. I will start by saying the owner Jorge, is so warm and welcoming. Upon arrival, he upgraded our room just because and the king bed was sooo comfy! His nephew, Mauricio, also works the bed & breakfast and he helped us book tours and day trips and even offered to be our guide for the day & what an amazing guide he was. He arranged for a taxi to drive us to each location for the whole day and he taught us so much of the history of the sacred valley. Any questions we had, they answered aptly and they made us feel like family. Jorge even helped us get a taxi to pick us up at 3am to go to the airport on our last day. All around, it was an amazing stay and Jorge and Mauricio go above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable & like they’re home. The next time we come to Peru, we are staying at Parwa and we look forward to seeing the whole family again!

Our stay at Parwa House was excellent! Jorge was very friendly and always helpful whenever we needed anything. The view from the balcony was very pretty of the Ollantaytambo ruins. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. It was kept very clean as well. An easy walk to the town square from this location. Nice breakfast in the morning was a bonus!
