This time we booked the superior double because we knew we would need to relax after a long drive. It was an excellent choice. Spacious, comfortable, clean, well luminated, powerful shower............worth the extra cost.

The staff were really lovely at this hotel, I was really impressed by the kindness of the staff. It’s a nice hotel, not amazing, but great value for what it is and I would definitely stay again. The bed was very comfortable and bathrooms spotless and clean and the room was a great size.

Perfectly fine place just outside the major touristy areas. Good value. Space feels a bit like it was updated in the 80s, but comfortable, quiet snd conveniently located. Parking was a bit tricky- ended up parking about 3 blocks away and no parking was available with the hotel.

Lovely staff, good location.Lovely walk to get into the centre with beautiful views.Convenient with supermarkets close by.
Only slight nag is there was only a fixed shower head, no additional hand held shower lead.

Hotel looks ok on arrival, but once inside is tired and dated. Carpets on corridor floors are in dire need of replacement, room furniture showing its age, and the mattress had a definite dip in the centre. Bathroom was much better, however, and the shower was spacious with strong water pressure. All staff encountered were friendly and obliging. Breakfast was a good selection, but would it not be more sensible to place the glasses near the juices??

Good hotel

This was a stopover for us and served the purpose very well. Located on outskirts of the old town and easily accessible from motorways. Walk to old town takes about 25 minutes.
Hotel service was very good and helpful. Room was large and had all the amenities we required. What we did like was the choice of having a full buffet breakfast (14 Euros) or an express breakfast comprising a hot drink, orange juice and grilled croissant for 4.5 Euros.

Great location, fine hotel

The hotel was comfortable and well situated. We could walk to the places that we wanted to go and there was a supermarket close by. The staff was friendly. The room temperature was hot and, though we adjusted the thermostat, nothing changed. This was in December and we had to open the window to get some cool air in the room.

Great location in Salamanca. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Only downside was pillows were so flat we had to fold them in half. Not comfortable. Large bathroom with shower and separate tub. Easy walk into old city and Plaza Mayor.

A good find

This hotel was on the outskirts of Salamanca but a short, seven euros taxi ride into the beautiful centre of the city. The room was very adequate, breakfast delicious and the staff very diligent and efficient. A small problem withe initial room was immediately remedied. Recommended.

Quality Salamanca stopover well based for the city

We have used this hotel about 8 times over the years as an overnight stop between the UK and Portugal.
The rooms and bathrooms are superb the staff are very helpful and friendly. Very secure underground parking costs 11 euros a night and a good hot and cold breakfast 8 euros.
About a 10 to 15minute walk across the old Roman bridge into the historic centre of Salamanca.
If you can get a second or third floor room overlooking the city the views especially at night are magnificent. All the rooms are beautifully furnished and the superior ones are worth the extra euros if they are available.
Unreservedly recommend this hotel.

Newish hotel with kind helpful staff. Comfortable bed, large bathroom, minibar, and kettle. It's across the river from downtown, but within reasonable walking distance. Also a couple supermarkets right down the street. I booked parking in the garage, but you don't really need it as there is ample parking on the street.

The room was a good size and clean. the hotel was in a good location for those with a car to park and walk to the main attractions. The internet was good and so was breakfast. The only issue was there was no air conditioning so the rooms became rather warm. Opening the window was not an option due to the road noise. If the Spanish government were to increase the taxes on tobacco products everyone in Spain could have free air conditioning.

Very swift, seamless Check-In. Reception staff VERY efficient and helpful. Great underground parking, with plenty of space and with dedicated spaces for motorcycles. Good breakfast choices at good prices, especially for a hotel. Quiet rooms, well furnished, very clean, large comfortable bed, plush towels. Not the best of views from my room but still with some views of the cathedral and the general area. Great service throughout. Within very short walking distance from Lidl and Supermercado for any necessary supplies.

Clean modern hotel, easy to find and close to town

I selected this hotel in Salamanca to break my trip from Santander to Albufeira because it is just off my route and close to town. So easy to find and absolutely perfect for a stroll into the historic town in the early evening over the Roman bridge.
Language was a minor problem (my fault as i speak no Spanish). Parking in the dungeon like car park was confusing and could have been explained more clearly. Easy when you know how, but confusing when you don't.
The double room was spotless and quiet at night, but definitely not soundproof as claimed, especially the inevitable noise from the corridor.
The buffet breakfast was excellent. I have booked another night to break the return trip and explore more of Salamanca.

Easy to drive to , and parking under hotel protected. Staff very helpful when asked questions. Great breakfast . Room was a little dark and dated - but nice and clean. Shower fine and beds quite firm but ok. Bedcovers were 2 layers of sheet which felt a little cool , but we dialled up the heat and ok. Check in and out stress free.
The walk to town was longer than expected , probably a good 10 minutes to the bottom of old city. But that was walking across old Roman bridge - good. Then walking uphill to centre town another 5 minutes.

I believe Vincci is a Spanish chain of hotels with locations throughout Spain, Portugal and Algeria. The hotel we stayed at was in the suburbs of Salamanca. The hotel was nice and the staff were very hospitable. The rooms were spacious and the hotel restaurant was convenient and the meals were good. My only compliant would be that there was no workout facility on location and it was a bit of walk to downtown Salamanca. But, the room pricing was very reasonable and I thought that overall it was a great value. I would stay there again.

We couldn't fault this hotel apart from a couple of cleaning issues. We were given a deluxe room and it was huge! Bed was really comfortable and we had the best night sleep in ages. Hotel staff were very helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We only stayed one night at this hotel but it was within walking distance to the center of old town in Salamanca so we didn't need to drive our car there and felt safe walking back and forth from the hotel to the town center. However, there aren't too many tourist places in the vicinity of the hotel.

We stayed there on Friday 13th November and again on Saturday 28th November on the way to and from our holiday.the room was OK and the bed was comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful but we could not get WiFi to work in our bedroom and TV was only in Spanish. There was no kettle for tea making etc .

Really nice and peaceful stay in a well kept hotel. The staff are lovely and friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. Best benefit is that the 15 minute walk into the old part of the city affords fabulous views from the Roman bridge and keeps you out of the tourist schmalz and noise that you don't need on holiday. Easy to locate this 3 storey great value newish hotel driving in from Ruta de Plata. Car parking available in hotel garage (10E) but plenty of unrestricted street parking nearby. Walking distance to the attractive historic old city but local bus available just outside hotel (line 1). Snack bar in hotel is basic - no restaurant. Cafe across the road is good value for inexpensive breakfast (coffee and toast 4E). Recommended.

Overnight stay whilst travelling from Marbella to Santander. Absolutely perfect, the out of town location made us walk to see the sights and have a meal in the evening. The bar in the evening was ok but we would have preferred it to be open before 7.30. The breakfast was outstanding.

The hotel is clean and had very nice linens. If you have been walking all day, what is better than getting into a bed with wonderful sheets, after using a large, clean bath-room? Hotel staff were professional and knowledgeable. Breakfast buffet was huge, varied, and easy to access - not crowded. Adequate parking nearby. Not an interesting neighborhood, but safe. Easy access to highway. Bottom line: yes, definitely, I would stay here again.

Decent Hotel 15 Mins Walk To Centre

Overall, a pretty comfortable hotel in a good, quiet location only 15 minutes walk across the old bridge to the centre. Managed to park on the road outside free for 3 days which was a bonus. Buffet breakfast over-priced and disappointing with a poor, basic selection so typical of hotel buffets in Spain. I wish they'd understand that a kettle in the room would be so convenient to us Brits, especially when it was impossible to get hot water elsewhere in the hotel at various times of the day when the bar was closed.

nice Hotel friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds quiet location and not far from the Cathedral, which by the way looks closer by night lite up than by day we are in our 70's and found the walk a bit of a challenge but once in our stride it was good the Roman Bridge was fascinating and the Plaza Mayore was close good hotel for sight seeing, the reason for the low score was restaurant not open only the snack bar although the food was good and the staff brilliant

The room was large, entirely free of carpet, which was what I wanted as I often have allergy problems in rooms with carpets. The bath was nice, with bath tub and separate shower. Sadly, the bidet was mounted too close to the wall, so using it properly was a bit difficult.

The staff was very friendly and helpful!

The Internet supply was good.

We stayed here on the way to Portugal. We love Salamanca and it is a yearly stop for us. Ive stayed in several of the city hotels and this one was fab. A nice 15 minute stroll from the old city over the Roman Bridge through the park which we enjoyed as it gives a nice build up to the city as it approaches. Secure underground parking at a small fee is good for those travelling to an onward destination with a car full of luggage etc. We had a family room which was in fact two huge adjoining double rooms which my daughter thought was fantastic. Large bathroom areas with double sinks and separate shower and bath. A real good value for money hotel. The only thing lacking is an outside area for relaxing but this is not an issue for us with such a beautiful city and park on its doorstep. Super friendly and welcoming receptionist too!
