The staff at the reception was exceptionally nice and helpful and the location was excellent.
However there were a few flaws in the room: no proper hot water, no indication of internal phone numbers (we had to go down to the reception to get wi-fi password and coffee/tea) and the room was a bit dated (toilette included).

A full service hotel with just the right location. The best beach in Orebic, an easy walk to the center and to the ferries. A great restaurant, but if you want to try others, they aren't far away. Best of all is the friendly and accommodating staff. We keep on coming back and have never been disappointed.

Exceptional small hotel

We had a pleasant stay. We felt very welcome. The personnel was vey kind and helpful. The restaurant and the beach are exceptional. The location is somehow exclusive and it feels you own a part of the beach. We highly recommend this hotel and will come again.

Unfortunately we had only two days in the hotel, but for that time we had a great experience. Pool was perfect, room were clean, beach is right next to the hotel and the food was great.
Everyone working in hotel is super kind and helpful all the time.

Reception staff really great. Restaurant and restaurant service and staff really dissappointing. Beach chairs and umbrelkas in front of hotel are supposed to be for hotel guests but you had to fight the locals and guests frim nearby hotels to get what you were entitled too. Excellent premises ans position. Absolutely no beach bar service at all. Little dissappointed with our stay.

This hotel was perfectly situated near the sea in the quaint town of Orebič. It was exactly the location we wanted, and it did not disappoint in that way. The staff was courteous and nice, and the place was very clean. Breakfasts outside on the back patio were a dream. There were a couple of drawbacks, however: the air conditioning in the room was anemic (which was unpleasant in the current heat wave). In addition, there was no air conditioning at all in the common areas, which were unbearably hot. The Wi-Fi in the facility was iffy - and totally absent in our room. Very frustrating. The workout facility was basically a few machines stuck in the basement - we never saw anyone take advantage of it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but wish that the hotel provided more of a sanctuary from the heat.

Worth a stop

We really enjoyed our time at Hotel Indijan. The hotel itself is very nice and the location was great. We enjoyed the beach very much and loved that the loungers were provided since it is a rocky type beach. We ate at the restaurant and ordered the nightly special which was very tasty and reasonable priced. The breakfast has many items to choose from and the staff are very friendly. The area has a nice walking path along the coast which is very nice to walk along at night. Great wine area and worth a trip.

We loved Hotel Indijan! Great location, beautiful beach right next to the hotel! The water was perfect! The town of Orebić is a short walk away. The hotel is very well equipped, our room was clean and comfortable. Very nice deck off of the room with a sea view! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The complimentary breakfast was great, delicious! I'd love to stay here again!

Nice hotel, right on the beach

This is a lovely hotel right on the beach. Great view of the beautiful Adriatic Sea. The staff was wonderfully helpful. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and our waiter gave us delicious recommendations for dinner. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Comfortable Hotel, wonderful sea views

We stayed here in the first week of October - the Croatian season ends with a bang at the end of September, presumably because the weather is unstable after then. But we had perfect weather, and a hotel that was only partially occupied - as a result of which we were upgraded to a premium room with a small balcony overlooking the promenade and stony beach. If \"promenade\" makes it sound in a busy location, it isn't - Orebic itself is small and quiet (and wonderful for it too), and the hotel is slightly out of the centre, some 12 minutes walk to the port, from which the ferry to Korcula (a lovely old town, if a bit touristy) takes around 20 minutes.

The hotel has a good but smallish indoor pool, and a health centre - not that we used either. The restaurant is very good, and reasonably priced - both of the evening meals we ate there exceeded our expectations. The staff were delightful.

A great place for a few days' stopover if you are visiting the Dalmatian coast - and ideally located between Split/Trogir on the one hand, and Dubrovnik on the other. We had hired a car to get from the former to the latter - you could just as easily take the ferry for both legs, although then you wouldn't get to see Ston, which is a small town whose walls run up the surrounding mountainsides, giving you a strenuous walk with lovely views.

What a great country !

Lovely boutique hotel on the beach

Great hotel, good location right by the beach. Excellent second floor balcony with fab view across to Korcula island. Plenty of loungers and parasols on the beach. All staff very friendly. As it was very end of the season the hotel was very quite which meant that the evening meal lacked atmosphere as there was virtually no-one else around. Evening meals(we were half board were really good) as was the breakfast. Would go again and have already recommended the hotel to friends

Beautiful location

Hotel Indijan has a beautiful view of the sea, and a very nice beach area. Rooms are comfortable, although bathrooms are on the smaller side, and the breakfast was not particularly fresh.

Perfect hotel for Orebic

Absolutely wonderful. The room was very spacious, our room had an additional attached sunroom with a pullout couch. The room was at the back of a garden but had a partial ocean view and lots of natural sunlight. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and there is daily housekeeping services. There's also a gym and a nice patio with lounge chairs for hanging out with a bottle of wine during the evenings. Free breakfast buffet was outstanding with hot and cold food options.

The beach is a pebble beach but the water is absolutely amazing and the hotel has beach chairs available for guests to use. The swimming pool was also surprisingly nice and pleasant and great for some lounging if the sun becomes too much on the beach.

Location of hotel was right along the beach and promenade within easy walking distance to ferry for Korcula (5 min) and restaurants nearby (10min) but in a quieter stretch of town so it was away from the crowds.

Highly recommend this hotel, and very glad that we chose this property over others in the area.

Lovely gateway

This is a lovely place for a beach gateway. The hotel is situated far enough from the \"downtown\" so that noise is not a problem, but it still close enough to walk to. The staff is very nice and helpful. Our room was large and well decorated. We had a balcony with seats, sun chair, and beautiful view. The restaurant is excellent with ample options that is situated in a beautiful terrace with a view. Breakfast is included and is buffet style including homemade pastries. The hotel has a semi private beach (pebble beach) with chairs and umbrellas. If the weather outside is not pleasant you can also you their indoor pool ( with retractable roof) and jacuzzi. We wish we could have stayed here longer.

Great hotel with garden terrace & personable staff

Hotel Indijan is a great balance between small boutique hotel where the staff knows you and you recognize other guests and greet them at breakfast, and busy enough when you want privacy. We stayed there for 5 days during our honeymoon. The outdoor terrace overlooking the sea where the tasty breakfast is served is a highlight - the terrace is edged with a butterfly garden - so attractive and so peaceful. The staff were friendly and would inquire about our day and make restaurant recommendations. The pebble beach is right outside the door. I also recommend the wine tasting tour they can arrange for you. It was our favorite hotel of all the ones we stayed at in Croatia.

Beautiful views of Korcula and the Peljesac

We loved our two-night stay at the Hotel Indijan. Our room had a big balcony, with beautiful views of the Peljesac Channel, the island of Korcula and the ferries that carry cars and passengers between the two, and was clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The swimming in front was pleasant, the hotel staff attentive, and the walk into town the perfect length -- far enough to be private, but close enough for dining and quick errands. All in all, a find.

This hotel was excellent from start to finish. The reservation staff were cheerful and helpful. One particular staff member, Frank, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The view from the patio alone will make you never want to leave. Great location, parking, lovely accommodation. You will love it here.

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit Orebic and Korcula. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Rooms are very comfortable. It's a 10 minute walk along the seafront to catch the ferry to Korcula. The hotel has direct access to the beach including beach towels and sunloungers.

Ideal for island hopping

Driving around Croatia we found this hotel when looking for a stopping off place when driving towards Dubrovnik from the islands. Very nice boutique hotel worthy of it's 4 star rating. The only downside was that the sofa bed was not comfortable and needed a deeper matress. The staff are very good, especially Antonio. The house wine is very good and is from the hotel's own vineyards.

Short stay in Orebic: Hotel Indijan

Just what we ordered!
Great room, although without balcony still had sea view, very comfortable.
Attentive, not too overbearing staff, there when required.
Only stayed two nights en-route to Split, easy access, via ferry to Korkular for sight seeing, unless you are looking for a very quiet holiday not a lot to do in Orebic.
Good breakfast and dinner, probably best restaurant in town.
Could do with some additional shade, umberellas, on both terraces, otherwise very good all round.

Overall, we had a very nice stay at the Hotel Indijan. The location was great, a short walk to the ferries to Korcula and to the main part of downtown Orebic. The room was nicely decorated and a good size, albeit oddly designed so that we couldn't see the beautiful view from the bed (only one french door to the balcony rather than a wall of windows). Food at the restaurant was very good; we had a great scampi and salad lunch on the terrace with some nice local wine. The owner's red wine, recommended by our favorite staffer, Antonio, was quite good and very reasonable. A few lapses keep it from being 5 star - so-so breakfast buffet, breakfast serving dishes left on a table in the restaurant at all times including dinner, a pile of laundry left in the elevator all day, only 2 English channels - but definitely a good choice for the area.

Indijan Hotel - a gem in Orebic (Korcula)

Lovely little boutique hotel, fully modernised, very clean and appealing. Deluxe room was small. Doors leading to private balcony overlooking the seaside. For a change, proper shower cubicle in the very nice bathroom with lovely large and fluffy bath towels also nice guest toileteries. Good situation and pretty walk along the sea front to the ferry terminal for Korcula. Very quiet out of season when we visited in May. Could not get wireless internet to work. Convenient parking. Lovely heated indoor swimming pool. Food could be improved upon. Overall, one of the nicest hotels we stayed at in Croatia.

Hyggeligt hotel

Lille hyggeligt hotel. Vi kom sidst i sæsonen og der var derfor meget roligt. Hotellet ligger lige ud til havet. Godt nok en stenstrand, men der er også en lille stige man kan gå ned i vandet fra. Meget venligt personale og lækker mad. Lille morgenmadsbuffet, men der er det der skal være. Ligger tæt på byen, hvor der er masser af restauranter eller man kan sejle over til en afdeandre øer.
Vi kommer gerne igen.

Hôtel parfait en bord de plage, accueil très chaleureux et cela tout au long du séjour. Excellente restauration, seul bémol le café du petit déjeuner, pas de cappuccino. Mais ce n’est par apport au plaisir que nous avons eu de séjour à l’Indijan ! Chambre très agréable, belle décoration sobre, bonne literie et emplacement à quelques minutes à pied du village par le bord de mer. Super adresse, nous espérons retourner dans cet hôtel !

Auf den ersten, oberflächlichen Blick scheint das Hotel sehr schön zu sein. Leider hält dieser Eindruck einem genaueren Blick jedoch nicht stand...
Alles in allem ist vor allem die Sauberkeit das Hauptproblem - es ist vieles sehr schmutzig. Staub und tote Insekten unter dem Bett waren schon bei der Anreise vorhanden und wurden während dem gesamten Aufenthalt nicht entfernt, die Teppiche im Zimmer waren sehr schmutzig, das Bad ebenso und auch die Tischdecken im Frühstücksraum wurden nicht gewechselt nach dem Gebrauch und waren voller Flecken.
Das Personal ist zwar tatsächlich sehr freundlich und bemüht - leider aber trotzdem inkompetent und langsam.
Im Fitnessraum gibt es keine Handtücher, keine Reinigungsmittel, keinen Wasserspender und alle vorhandenen Cardio-Geräte sind defekt.
Wir waren enttäuscht. Die Anlage an sich hätte sehr grosses Potential - wird aber nicht gut betreut.

AGREABLE SEJOUR

Plage, piscine et jacuzzi très agréables.
Petit déjeuner et restaurant satisfaisant.
Arrivés le dimanche à 20h00, nous constatons une erreur de réservation de notre part d'une chambre individuelle au lieu d'une chambre double. Le personnel nous propose de rajouter un lit pliant au coût de 150 euros pour 2 nuits . N'ayant pas le choix, l'hôtel étant complet, nous acceptons et nous nous installons.
En ressortant de la chambre 30 minutes plus tard, on nous interpelle et le montant passe à 200 euros sans aucune explication et avec un règlement en cash. Nous refusons le payement en cash et payerons par carte bancaire à notre départ.
A notre départ mardi matin, à notre grande surprise, on nous facture seulement 40 euros sans explication avec un règlement par carte bancaire pour une meilleure comptabilité.
Nous supposons qu'il n'y avait pas de responsable le dimanche soir et le mardi matin à notre départ, le responsable devait être là. Le personnel a voulu se faire du black!!!!!!
Malgré cela, nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet hôtel.
