The staff were lovely. The facility was dated. The tub in the bathroom flooded the whole bathroom. It was the kind of hotel where you don’t want to walk around without shoes on because the carpet might give you a foot fungus lol. The hotel also says it offers a sauna, steam room, and hot tub but when we asked the front desk they said they do not have those amenities. Overall good for a budget hotel but nothing to call home about.

Good staff , great breakfast. Rooms very tired. Shower floods the floor . There was a big wind all day and night . The shutters on room next to us banged all night . I asked at reception to please check the room , im not sure if they did or it just didn’t work . We couldn’t work the air con .

Pros: lovely walk down to old town with a great winery and restaurants on route, hotel staff super friendly and good selection of food for breakfast

Cons: hotel rooms are dated and a little on the small side with children (we would pay to upgrade if we were to come again)

Overall, an easy stay (especially with children in tow) that is close to the main sites.

The staff was great from check-in. They arrange our transport for wine tasting. The bartender was very kind made me a cappuccino after breakfast was closed. Also another bartender had to open a bottle of wine for me. The only bad thing about breakfast was the yogurt it was some type of milk. I would of like an option for a healthy breakfast.

The only negative was the layout of the bedroom, the only TV was in the living area but has no where comfortable to sit, just 2 hard chairs. Would be nice to have a sofa facing the TV, or one in the bedroom.

The staff was very nice, but not very helpful at times. I asked for our two twins to be pushed together + a rollaway so my husband and I could sleep comfortably. It took 2 days to accomplish and they seemed extremely confused by the request. In the end we got the extra bed but they left the two twins separated and my husband still slept with feet hanging off the bed.

AC did not work well and we were very hot while sleeping. Asked for a fan and was told it’s not possible except if we ask in the morning.

The young lady at the coffee stand was really sweet and friendly! She made our stay.

Property just seems dated, but it’s very close to town and the port so we were happy overall.

Such a great hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but the location, pool and staff more than makes up for that. Big selection of food at breakfast and staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool is such a great facility. It’s not a huge pool but the space is big so never felt crowded and has great views over the town. Would definitely stay again.

The property was modern and clean, with an efficient and friendly staff. Our room was in the annex building, with a comfortable bed and an average bathroom (shower setup not great, and hard to keep the floor dry with handheld nozzle). The pool area was a very welcome addition, as was the somewhat cramped gym. A quick five minute walk to Old Town was an easy way to see it.

Great spot to stay! The staff was excellent and always willing to help. Great advice on things to do. They have parking for you if you rent a car. All local businesses and taxis were very helpful and reasonably priced. Hotel pool was nice, they have live music some nights. Buffets for breakfast and dinner were good, and you can get fresh squeezed orange juice from the bar!

The service and staff at the hotel were exemplary. Genuinely friendly and attentive. Fantastic views over the port and Old Town. The only issue is that the hotel is looking a little tired and in need of a refurb as the decor is dated, carpets in need of a deep clean and pool fountains/hot tubs disconnected or not working. For the same price, we basically had a choice between a larger suite with a great view/balcony here or a smaller room in a modern hotel nearby with a view of a bush. We made the right choice though - the views of the old town are great. As a base for the island, this was great value for money.

Beautiful property loaded with amenities. A short walk to the old town and port. Rooms are well appointed with super comfortable beds. Full buffet breakfast in the morning. I chose this property because of its wall ability from the ferry terminal. The staff were very friendly and accommodative. The facility itself was very dated. The doors to the patio of our room were literally coming off their hinges! There was no coffee maker in the room or any other amenities for that matter. The hallway lights were on motion sensor which is great for saving electricity but at night it was a bit scary to enter the dark building. On the plus side, the pool area was very nice and there was plenty of room to spread out in the room that we were in.

Booked room that is listed as seaside and states \"sea view\" in the room details. Upon checking in, we were given a ground floor room with a terrace that looked out onto a car park and the view was completely obstructed by trees. Went up to tell reception and was told this is the correct room we booked because it just means it's on the side of the sea. I asked why it lists a sea view then but they just dismissed this. We were almost made to feel it was our fault, not theirs for listing the room incorrectly.

Aside from this, the room was really shabby. We had two fridges, one of which was absolutely filthy. There were cobwebs in virtually every corner and a few dead ants in the bed. One of the random sofa beds in the room which was folded up to serve as an armchair was broken. One lampshade broken, wonky headboard. The tap on the shower was incorrectly labelled what side is hot/cold.
There was so many little things wrong with this place.

Really spoiled our trip to Korčula which we were so looking forward to.

Thank your for a very relaxing week

We visited this hotel for a week at the end of June beginning of July and were very pleasantly surprised. The taxi fare from the harbour is 50/60 HKN but you could walk it although it is up hill. The staff were all so helpful, polite and professional and everything was immaculately clean. It felt very well managed. We only ate breakfast but we thought it was excellent and certainly compared very well to the breakfasts we had in other hotels on our trip. We had an amazing week, I did Yoga on 3 mornings which was a lovely surprise because I hadn’t expected that to be an option. There were plenty of sun beds, but don’t stay by the pool, there are some lovely beaches to visit, we went to Badija, Lumbara and Vrnik which were all lovely and easily accessible by water taxi from the harbour. Make sure you take Jelly shoes and cushion pads as most of the beaches are shingle or rocky.

The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The location is great for a gentle stroll into the old town. The outside pool area was clean although the weather was cold and windy so we didn't have a dip.
Our non sea view room was very spacious. The room could have benefited from a good vacuum. Array or TV channels if that is important to you. Bathroom is due a refit, awkard angle for showering with floor getting very wet, not enough pressure to wash long hair.
I would stay again for a short visit (1/2 nights).
The breakfast options were extensive.

No frills, decent location

My friend and I stayed at Marko Polo for a recent girls trip. The location of the hotel wasn't bad, a short walk to town. The hotel itself is pretty outdated and underwhelming. It was VERY family-oriented which is fine but not really what we were looking for. We were there during a heat wave and the A/C was broken so it was VERY hot in our room every night. Room itself was very no-frills and cleaning staff barely cleaned the room each day - didn't take away empty glasses, we had to ask for new clean towels... I think the hotel was overwhelmed with the number of guests. The breakfast buffet was fine.

Arrived and room we booked was not available. Were told we could move the next day. Asked what compensation - thought maybe a free glass of wine but were given room upgrade. Though there was shower gel in the room, no shampoo. Shower gel not replaced after used. Beds around pool reserved by hotel towels first thing but not used often until 3 or 4 - manager did remove some when I complained.
Breakfast great and location perfect - short walk to town but away from hustle and bustle. Could be great place to dine if they would serve by pool but dining room has no view. Water taxi to Lombarda and walk to przina beach if you get chance.

We turned up for our stay at Marko Polo and realised we had unfortunately booked for the incorrect dates. The reception staff were so helpful and understanding and went out of their way to assist us even though it was our own error. The hotel was full that night but we were accommodated in 2 other beautiful hotels for our 4 night stay. I would highly recommend this service - and we are so grateful to the fantastic staff here!!!!

The Marko Polo is a typical package holiday hotel. We didn't have much contact with staff during our stay, but they seemed friendly. The hotel has a terrace with a pool and great views if the old town, and didn't feel too crowded. Room was a little dated, but very clean and well equipped, including good Wi-Fi. Hotel is about 10 mins walk to the old town, with a nice little swimming spot on the way, next to a marina.

We only had a one night stay at this hotel, but the one night was wonderful! We had room 131, which was larger than I expected! It had a bedroom and a sitting room, and an EXCELLENT view of the pool and the sea beyond. We spent most of the day at the pool - and their pool area is fabulous! We were on Korcula in late May, which is before the summer season picks up, so there were only perhaps a dozen people at the pool. We were pleased with the complimentary fruit and cookies that were waiting for us upon arrival - that was a lovely surporise. The breakfast buffet, which was included in our room price, was really good. They had a great selection and the food was great. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

We paid for double room and they gave us a tow single bed room, we asked for a change they didnt helped us!!!! The pillows were terrible!!! The tv 8 inch, and the bathroon is a cabin in which no one fits!!!!!! Never go there!!!!!!

The staff was excellent! They were very kind to me and not that busy since it (April) is the off season. My room was great with a killer view; however, the carpet was stained in a few spots. It was last remodeled in 2007 so this is to be expected.

that say windows were open but really was a bad window with a broken piece that do not allowce the AC turn on and on top of that the internet was not reliable.

Good Hotel close to Korcula town

Great location with a short walk down into old Korcula town. Staff were not very helpful though. Good pool and really poor food, so make sure you eat out. Rooms were clean and comfy and some have a great view of the town and ocean. Close to the beaches as well.

Very close to town center. Very nice and clean rooms, ours had a balcony overlooking the water. Great shutters to keep the heat out or open to let a breeze in a night. Excellent pool and patio area.

one night was plenty

This was a rundown hotel that we opted for for one evening before heading to Hvar. Needs updating, general customer service and a lift from the boat if you have luggage. Pool was the nicest part.

Perfect Location

A 5 minutes walk from the Old Town. The buffet was very rich and different every day, with a selection of cold and warm starters and main dishes + a varied selection of vegetables. One bad note, the restaurant area needs some refurbishment in order to look more like a restaurant and not like a cafeteria. The pool facilities are very good with the added benefit of a stunning view of the bay and Korcula.

Still stuck in the 60s

The hotel was extremely basic and pretty dingy. I'm fine with staying in places like this if the cost reflects the quality, however in this case I was paying WAY over what the room was worth and would certainly not go back there again.

Okay hotel but probably not worth the price

Nice rooms and convenient pool but overall customer service is pretty poor at this hotel and location is up a hill and it may be more convenient to stay at a private apt in the area closer to the old town. They offer little help with anything tourist related and don't have answers or helpful thoughts on much of anything which was in stark opposition to most of the hotels during the rest of our stay in Croatia. Also when we made the reservation, we were asked if we wanted twin beds or one double bed. We chose twin beds as we are just two friends and it was a huge debate with the hotel desk in order to get the twin beds and they were quite rude about it. Perhaps they were saving the two twin bed rooms for all the couples that were on the island. Didn't make sense. It wasn't terrible but I would not recommend this hotel.
