The property and rooms are nice and staff was great but air condition was not adequate for us. The air-conditioning did work but only dropped the room too around 75°F. That may be good for many people, is not for us.
Staff was understanding and try to address the problem but we had to stay. They did give us a refund for the night we canceled.

In the heart of Korcula. Beautiful heritage hotel. Very well maintained to keep its \"old world\" feel. Staff was very helpful directing us to tours and restaurants. Hotel breakfast was outstanding. Beautiful patio. Caution areas: the hotel has NO elevator due to its heritage status. Pick your room carefully. Our loft room was spacious, but the \"port hole\" sized window didn't give us much of a view and the view from the window upstairs really only gave the view when seated at the desk.

Magnificent hospitality and stunning design

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at this magnificently stunning hotel. We both agree that the service and hospitality is simply unmatched (we are so grateful for this!) The grounds, historical architecture and terrace of the Aminess really sets it apart from other Korcula and even Hvar hotels. Each morning we enjoyed an absolutely scrumptious breakfast outside on the terrace, enjoying the perfect ocean breeze and stunning views. We feel so grateful to have found this gem of a hotel and will never forget how special they made us feel on our honeymoon (cue the prosecco). We hope to visit again in a few years to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to the incredible hotel staff and team, for making us feel like a million bucks.

The hotel was lovely but there was no elevator and we were on the second (which is actually the 3rd) floor up. I perfer historical hotels so I am used to this and staff was good about bringing up the bags. Our only complaint was that the bathroom was very small. The toliet was so close to the towel rack that my husband had to sit with his knees skewed at an angle to fit.

My stay at this historic and beautiful hotel was wonderful!
Being on the island of Korčula was so peaceful, quaint, majestic, and relaxing!
The Aminess Korčula Heritage made my 2 night stay even better.
This hotel is so beautiful and I loved having my breakfast outside in the morning, enjoying the fantastic food and view!
The staff was very friendly, helpful and made sure I always had everything I needed.
The woman at the front desk, Sanja, was so helpful to me in so many ways. I want to thank her especially!
I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Korčula, Croatia!

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night. Although the room and bathroom decor felt a bit outdated, we were cognizant that it is a heritage hotel. The room was very clean and the location is unbeatable. Within 1-min walk to old town. Staff was great and included breakfast buffet was even better! Highly recommend.

Great location in the heart of old town to explore Korcula. Breakfast buffet is fantastic with a ton of variety and eggs/pancakes cooked as you order. Great coffee! Beds are comfy, room is a bit tight but if you only use it to sleep and shower, just fine. Minimal bath products provided but what they do have smells nice. Great bar for cocktails and dessert!

A lovely heritage property immediately on the waterfront in a quiet location, yet close to excellent restaurants. Ground floor spacious and comfortable. However, whilst waiting staff were pleasant, courteous and efficient and happy to chat to you some of the reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. In addition and my biggest disappointment was that the room was tiny and the shower room minuscule - you had to sit sideways to use the toilet. I have never seen such a small room. Paying top dollar for such facilities is unacceptable. A real shame since the rest of the downstairs of the hotel is so lovely.

Truly a lovely property. Our room was on the 2nd floor (3rd floor to Americans). We had both a bedroom and a sitting room with windows in each (one overlooking the water and the other a quiet street). It was a very comfortable room, the breakfast each morning was great, the staff was terrific and we were very happy with our stay.

The property is situated in a beautiful location. Perhaps had we had another room, our stay would have been more pleasing. While the room was large, there was only a tiny window (1/2M x 10-15 cm) that looked out - if you bent down - on the water. The floor below had huge windows so we probably should have spent more for one of those rooms. Worse than the lack of view was the smell in the room which might have been from the carpeting. There was also a misplaced light fixture outside of the bathroom that was a head hazard for taller people.

Hotel Korcula De La Ville Not Recommended

We booked three nights and paid the highest rate they advertised. The hotel is in an excellent location in the walled city of Korcula. The restaurant, lounge and terrace are nice and staff there were very warm and efficient. However, the stairwell, hallway to the rooms and the rooms themselves were horrible. The carpets were dirty, the walls all scuffed up, the room we were given had a shower that a small person could barely get into and no windows except a very small one (port hole size). It also had a loft and the stairs were very steep and slippery. When we complained, the front desk staff said they could do nothing until the manager arrived the next morning. When we spoke to the manager the next morning, they gave us another room which was even worse but at least it did not have a loft. The new room was right next to the stairwell, the area around the bed was barely large enough to walk by, the carpet smelled so bad and was very dirty. Again, they only had one small window and two sky lights. They were fully booked and could not change us into any other room and they would not adjust the room rate because we had booked through Hotels.com. We were very disappointed since every other hotel we had stayed in in Croatia were wonderful. We booked this hotel because it was not a budget hotel, but the rooms surely reflected that they were. Korcula is a beautiful city and we still enjoyed our stay on the island but would not recommend this hotel.

The server at breakfast was wonderful! The doorman watched us struggle with our bags up the stairs and nodded hello. There was a hat left in the room by a previous occupant, so not sure how thoroughly it was cleaned. Front desk seemed put off by two men sharing a room. Overall, a great location but maybe a bit tired at the end of the season.

A Wonderful Stay in Korcula

The Hotel Korcula was a large and old fashioned hotel situated near the harbor at Korcula. It had a beautiful terrace to enjoy and hide from the strong sun. Our room was upgraded without asking, and it was spacious and comfortable and cool. It’s a great choice for a visit to this spectacular island.

The hotel is a very nice place to stay while in Korcula. It is centrally located to the old town, an easy 5 minute walk to/from the ferry dock, and the staff are marvelous. The breakfast in the morning is incredibly comprehensive with lots of things to choose from, all of which are very good and fresh. My one word of caution is to try to stay in rooms on the 1st floor (European first floor, one above ground floor). The rooms on the 2nd floor only have a small horizontal window (perhaps 0.5 m by 1 m) looking out on the harbor. We had a 2nd floor room on the end which also had proper windows on the alleyway side of the room, which helped compensate. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Korcula.

Good location but hotel a little tired and worn. Upon check in had to change rooms since first one smelled of strong chemical. (I’ve never had to do that before). Furniture and rugs worn. The biggest surprise is we were on third floor and building did not have an elevator. Getting bags down when leaving was quite a challenge.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and found this a delightful hotel. Right next to the ferry stop.We were upgraded without requesting it. Breakfast was very good. high price for nice room

I had high expectations for that hotel. Even though it was more expensive than other hotels in Korccula, I choose it for its 4 stars, good location and view to the sea. Check-in was smooth, people were kind but when I saw the room, I was very dispapointed; very small with a unique 50cm window in the corner of the room. It was off season (I think we was about 3 rooms takens while we were there), so I don’t understand why they gave us a room like that unless they are all similar (which is not the case). I won’t be back.

Nice hotel on the main drag. A bit noisy in the mornings - lots of movement up and down the hallways. Lovely view from the window out onto the water. Hotel has been there for quite some time and it is starting to show it's age a bit. Bed was a bit stiff. Great staff though.

The hotel is nice enough but doesn't deserve the 5 star rating. We got a large room with a separate sitting area so the size is great. The decor is a bit tacky. For the nightstands, there are two plant pots turned upside down with two giant lamps but the base is too small to even hold a small glass of water. The carpet is old and frayed. The lobby is sterile and not very warm looking. The female staff is professional and very friendly. The one gentleman that checked us in is efficient but not so solicitous. We would give the hotel a higher over all rating if not for the high nightly rates (350 euros).

Lovely hotel & wonderful stay!

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night and felt very lucky to be upgraded to a Premium Suite on arrival which was a wonderful surprise. The staff were welcoming from the beginning and really made our stay feel special.

We had booked half board as part of a deal through Expedia and had dinner in the restaurant. We were the only ones in the dining room but we enjoyed 3 courses from the menu which were slightly different to food we had in the restaurants so far.

The breakfast was lovely and overall we had a great experience here. It is walking distance from the ferry and beautiful sea views especially at sunset. The staff were very helpful when we had already checked out and our boat got cancelled, they looked after our bags and lent us towels to enjoy the day at the beach until we could get another boat later in the evening.

Overall a great stay in Korcula!

Beautiful location, even better service!

Highly recommend Hotel Korcula. We had a beautiful room on the front side of the hotel with the most amazing sunset views over the Adriatic. The location was perfect with easy walk to either port and the old city. The breakfasts was one of the nicest we had in our stay in Croatia. The service was very friendly and they saved us a great deal of trouble and anxiety. In our haste to catch the ferry the next morning, we left some important personal belongings in our room. Everything was forwarded to us in Dubrovnik in very secure packaging by the next day!

Perfect Korcula experience

We arrived early and they made an effort to prepare our room ahead of the scheduled check-in time. We were given a complementary upgrade to a suite with sea views and it was fabulous! Comfortable bed and pillows. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Lovely location right on the edge of the old town walls. Staff were more than accommodating.
