Setting off the property is excellent, easy access by car, their own parking, food was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. There are few suggestions for instance: soap dispensers are very hard to squeeze the soap out. Maybe something with pump or sensor would be more convenient for aging guests. Overall great job! Thank you.

Pleasant family hotel

A genuine family hotel with nice pool and beachside.i last visited 50 years ago and whilst it has been modernised in part it still retains a lot of the old building. This was a sentimental journey for me and i wasnt disappointed but it isnt 5 star luxury either.

Typical Eastern European hotel sitting nicely on the waterfront. The beach and the pool are very nice. The rooms are comfortable and have views of the water. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food and cocktails are good.

I liked peace and sea, resting in shadow of the trees. I would like to recommend bracelets instead of cards for room entrance. It is more convinient to use it on the pool and sea.

Not what we were looking for and a bit rundown

This is a hotel that caters very much for families so avoid if you are looking for a peaceful holiday. The rooms are dated and at first we were given a room overlooking an ugly flat roof with two single beds pushed together. They eventually moved us to a room with a double bed and a view of the pool which worked better after my husband complained a couple of times that we were on our honeymoon and would like a double bed. The beach is pretty but crowded and the pool area was full and noisy. We found it to be very overpriced as well. This would probably be great for a family holiday with kids but was just not for us.

This property is located right next to the sea in Orebic. It has a lovely renovated pool area, beautiful gardens and many activites for people to make use of...there is a very energetic activities director. It reminds me of an all inclusive in Mexico.

The dinners and breakfasts that we partook of were excellent and the dinner price included beer and wine at no extra cost. Everything was well presented and the staff were very professional and helpful,

Actually it is a nice hotel by the beach! The view, surroundings and landscaping are wonderful. Beach here is small pebbles but that doesn't get everywhere like sand does so no complaints. It is a 2 hour journey from Dubrovnik airport so best to get an early flight in for the extra journey on arrival. Breakfast was great - plenty of choice. I prefer to eat dinner locally and it's worth noting that in this area just before the 2nd week of October places had already closed for the season. Of the four places I counted that were open still I ate at 3 of them - all food meals - Stari Kapitan, Mimbelli, and the one unlikely one I kept going back to because it was more likely to be open a little later than the others, La Casa.This was effectively the local Pizza/Pasta joint but with good some good meat dishes too. Starting from the 1st floor but in the open, you couldn't miss it

Beautiful view, great pool and beach which is what we came for. Very friendly and helpful staff gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and wineries in the area. Reasonably priced food and drink; breakfast that was included was good, but eat other meals at the pool bar or in town.

Fabulous and well managed hotel

Warm welcome and excellent service throughout the duration of our 8 night stay. Lovely pool and beach area. Room nice and clean each day. Breakfast maybe lacking in fresh fruit and no fresh juice but this seems pretty normal for Croatia. Friendly and helpful staff. Safe walk into the town - flat and along the coastline. Didn't eat in the restaurant as we ventured out each day.

Not sure how they received 4 stars. No beach chairs. They treat drinking water like gold. Noisy area. WC's tiny, beds uncomfortable, breakfast mediocre. Front desk lady was nice, that's about the only positive thing.

Rather too basic for a 4 star hotel.

This hotel is a long way from Dubrovnik but on a beautiful route. In the main, the staff is amazingly helpful and incredibly willing. We paid for a superior room, which had a sea view but no balcony. It was quite basic, with very small shower room, no bath. There were no toiletries, apart from two shower caps and some liquid wash.
The breakfast was fine but the one dinner we had was not good at all. The pebble beach looks lovely in the morning but is open to the public so becomes overcrowded and chaotic in my opinion. Trying to obtain a sunbed round the pool is a nightmare, so gave up after the first day and went to a quiet beach nearby.
The hotel is well positioned for Orebic and Korcula. There is some evening entertainment but the hotel lacks atmosphere. Not what we hoped or expected for the price or star rating.

What more could you ask for.

We only stayed one night but it was lovely. Great little beach. Nice walk along beach front path. Spectacular view from room. Friendly staff. Let us check out at noon instead of 10:30 since we were only there a day. Good breakfast buffet. Free parking.

Arrived mid afternoon, no towels for the pool. Food ok but same everyday. Was kept very clean, rooms to small. Entertainment very limited, ut met a lovely man Thomaslav who was great. Charged a different price for wine at the bar every night. Won't be going back.

Lovely hotel, great for families

We stayed in July 2015, full board with our 2 little kids. We loved this place! Spotless room and common areas. Buffet was varied enough and had something for everyone. The pool area was gorgeous and the kids pool was nice to have. Mini club for 4-12 year olds was a nice touch, a couple hours everyday. We had a seaside room with balcony. Well worth it, we had the best view in the whole place! Would highly recommend!

My only suggestion is to book a transfer if arriving in the ferry in Orebic because there wasn't a single taxi in sight and we had to walk with our luggage.

Exceeded expectations - great hotel!

First trip to Croatia - drove hire car from Dubrovnik airport - 2 hour drive, not complicated route but some narrow roads and tight bends ( also panoramic views!). We wondered if the long transfer would be worth it ? It was! Orebic is lovely little port, hotel easy to find and in a superb sea front location. Hotel staff very warm and friendly, fourth floor sea view rooms just lovely; clean, fresh, good quality towels and bed linen, amazing sea views. \"Soft all inclusive\" worked well for us- food good quality and variety, beer wine and soft drinks included and drinkable( wine bought at the bar was much better quality with drinks and cocktails available at reasonable prices).Swimming pool not large but adequate especially as the sea is literally a minutes walk away. Water crystal clear and warm enough to swim each day. Enough sun beds and shade to be found. Animation team hard working but not intrusive. Orebic is easy to walk to, small foot passenger ferry four times a day to island opposite very reasonable price and worth the trip. Local monastery high in the hills above hotel provides yet more panoramic picture opportunities.

Quiet holiday hotel

We needed somewhere reasonably quiet for a few days break but with plenty to do if we wanted to make the effort. The hotel is on the beach but also has a nice pool area. Our room had a sea view and was a good size. It is a good 15 mins walk into Orebic town and there are some shops and nice restaurants there, also a ferry which takes you over to Korcula Island (about 15 mins).

Great Touring Location for 1-2 Nights

Orebic is an attractive old town with some beautiful old mansions, apparently built by retired sea captains, and well worth a visit. the drive along the Peljesac Peninsula through wine country is charming with fabulous views.The Grand Hotel is located in a cove with a pebble beach, a short walk from the center along a lovely coastal path. Ocean view rooms on higher floors look out over the bay to old Korcula town and rocky islets. The staff are highly professional and friendly. On the downside, the decor is tired and the air conditioning pre-set at 24C, making sleeping in August uncomfortable, and the beach and pool are over-crowded. The Croatian Holiday Camp ambience lacks sophistication (especially the feeding frenzy at the all-inclusive breakfasts) but for 1-2 nights on a touring holiday, we'd use this hotel again.

Disappointing experience

Very disappointing hotel. Seems very outdated, room smelt strongly of smoke even though there are plenty of non smoking signs around. Found the staff on check in and check out very rude. Hotel is in a good location by the beach but is geared up completely to large tour groups so definitely wouldn't bother staying if you aren't in one and probably wouldn't if you are.

The staff was very helpful and accomodating. The hotel is located right on the water and has access to a lovely beach. Get a massage from the energy clinic! The women are masters and it's very reasonable. The ferry conveniently stops right at the dock 3 times a day if you want to go to Korcula. The rooms are a bit dated but spacious and clean, and be sure to arrange a transfer if you ferry over from Hvar. We had quite a problem getting to the hotel because we did not do so.

Great Hotel for the quiet stay

The Hotel was off the beaten path, and a good distance from the major cities so there was not a whole lot of crowds. The staff were friendly for the most part. There was a restaurant in the hotel, but it was usually pretty crowded and was a buffet/cafeteria style set up. The food was ok, but definitely not four star. There were a couple of restaurants in the area, but most of the great ones you really had to search for. There was a office in the hotel where you could arrange for trips, but the trips they only did 2 or 3 out of the book they had out, and they only ran during the week. The book also said they could arrange for Moped, 4 wheeler, and Jet Ski rental... Also false. Overall it was a nice stay for us, because we hate crowds and just wanted to enjoy ourselves on the beach. I think the stay would have been alot more interesting if we were there during the week, rather than over a weekend. Also if the area surrounding the hotel was a little more advertised.

Beautiful views but mediocre food

We were only there for a night but enjoyed it very much. We hiked up to the nearby monastary for an amazing view and walked along the water to nice restaurants. Food at the hotel seemed unimpressive but we were not all inclusive so only had to deal with the mediocre breakfast. This was a good location for viewing surrounding vineyards.

Lovely hotel with great pool facilities. We stayed all inclusive and were pleasantly surprised with the quality and variety of the food. We had requested a twin room and when we got there we had been given a double. We spoke to staff who initially said there were no twin rooms and we would have to pay extra if we wished to upgrade to a suite. We argued that the booking shouldn't have been confirmed if there were no twin rooms available, and eventually we were given a suite at no extra cost. The air conditioning is operated centrally and it was far too hot in our room and we were told that it could not be made any cooler. Despite this, overall the hotel is very nice, clean and the food is excellent.

Nice room and town

You could tell the rooms had just been renovated as the room was very clean and comfortable. However, the rest of the hotel was not really our cup of tea; including decor and entertainment. The quality of breakfast was poor and there weren't enough sun beds at all. But there was a nice shingle beach about 10 mins walk away. Would suit for families but we are a young british couple hence why wasnt quite the ideal stay for us. Orebic and korcula both worth a visit though!

This is a great hotel - splendid location, overlooking the sea, with a lovely pool and a good selection of reasonably-priced drinks. The staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. The \"all inclusive\" deal was a good deal - unlimited food and drinks for EUR 20 per day. I would definitely come back.

A good hotel in a beautiful location

I was very impressed with this hotel. It is very modern with all the facilities you would expect to find. The room was in great condition, and although it was a park view and not a sea view room it was nice to see good scenery of a morning. The staff were all very helpful and tried to answer our numerous questions about the local area which was a great help. The hotel was generally quiet and located very near the beach, with a very nice pool too. The only disappointment we had was the quality of the food. A couple of mornings the cooked food had run out at the time we were in the restaurant and took a while to be re-filled. We also had one evening meal there which was not very nice and over-priced compared to the local restaurants. Overall a great hotel which I would happily stay in again!

Everything as expected but a few times we had to wait a while for plates or cups at the restaurant. Early season so probably not fully manned staff yet :-)
We will definately consider to return to Aminess Vival Grand Azur Hotel or one of the sister hotels nearby!

Insgesamt unter den Erwartungen: alte Zimmereinrichtung, Essen war wie in einer Kantine (sehr laut, kaum Abwechslung, kaum Gesundes), Poolliegen reserviert, Liegen am Strand kosten 20€ pro Tag (!), Parkplatz 3€ pro Tag (!), Massage direkt neben der Strandbar mit lauter Musik vom Fitnessprogramm. Personal recht unfreundlich!

Siisti ja hyvä hotelli, saimme huoneen merinäköalalla, vaikka emme olleet sitä varanneet. Henkilökunta ystävällistä. Aamupala oikein hyvä ja lounas sekä illallinen monipuolinen. Ravintola ja terassit avarat. Uima-allasalue siisti, paljon aurinkotuoleja. Itse allas pienehkö, mutta ei haittaa mitään, koska tosi lyhyt matka uimaan mereen. Uimakenkiä kannattaa käyttää pikkukivien vuoksi. Kätevä ranneke, joka toimi myös huoneen avaimena.

Personnel au petit soin vraiment au top. Réception, barman ( Mario au top 👌 ) pour les repas, vraiment impeccable.
Cet hôtel mérite un peu plus d’équipement au vu de sa localisation ( un peu loin des centres d’intérêt à visiter ) par exemple, piscine chauffée, ou intérieur, une salle de fitness un peu mieux fournie et entretenu ( machine cassée ), un panel de massage un peu plus élaborée, pourquoi pas un spa, un panel TV plus complet dans la chambre. Après ce n’est plus le même budget mais ça serai top. Quoi qu’il en soit , super séjour, j’y retournerai avec plaisir grâce à la bienveillance du personnel. Bravo à vous !

The hotel was quite as showed on hotels.com pages. Nice sea view and pool. The room was ok, just the carpet was old and a bit dirty. The breakfast and half board dinner was modest and the dining room was like a cantine, not comfortable.

Typisches Strandhotel in wunderschöner Lage. Wir hatten zum Glück ein Zimmer mit Balkon und konnten die geniale Aussicht genießen. Toller Spaziergang nach Oribic am Meer entlang. Essen war von der Atmosphäre und der Qualität Kantinenmässig, sodass wir die wunderbaren Kanobas der Umgebung genossen haben. Frühstück war gut.

Extra ljubazno i usluzno osoblje, odlicna lokacija hotela u borovoj sumi tik uz more..10 minuta hoda od centra mjesta.
cisto i uredno. Veliki izbor hrane spremljene u mediteranskom stilu.Prilikom dolaska dobili smo upgrade nase sobe i dobili sobu s pogledom na more !!Svakako dolazimo opet prvom prilikom.
