I have been to this hotel before and gladly came back, great staff, clean, quiet and excellent location, the room was nice, renovated, the shower head can use a change in the shower but all the rest was great.
at breakfast i was missing vegan options, but i managed so no big deal for me.
i will come back next time i am in Bucarest

Easy walk to all of the downtown and Old Town sites. Very helpful staff. Super clean. Well-appointed room. Excellent breakfast. Convenient parking in the area. Don't miss out on eating at the Old Kitchen restaurant in the adjoining neighborhood. A quick walk to the best Romanian food we had.

Really enjoyed our stay, the location was perfect, right in the centre of Bucharest, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was very clean. We also liked the bed, it was comfortable and we didn't hear any noise from outside. The only minor inconvenienct was the room size - it was really small, we couldn't put our suitcase anywhere as we struggled to walk around. Apart from that it was a great stay

Extremely comfortable hotel an easy walk from the stops for the 100 bus from/to the airport. Very clean and modern with excellent aircon. About 30 mins walk from the old town so nice and quiet despite the weekend traffic and crowds. The garden is a nice shady place for a quiet drink.

The property needs renovation. Chair in our room had stains on it, as did the fabric padded headboard. Light in the bathroom was not good. Drain in the shower was slow to drain so water pooled up by our feet.

Very nice hotel, up to date, but with small lapses: poor finish in the shower, and canned olives in the buffet, realy not up to the general standard otherwide. Neighbourhood looks a bit run down, but turns out to be fine, with a few nice bars and a curious folksy local restaurant with very tasty Romanian fare.

Perfect if, like me, you like to be both in the heart of the city and also enjoy your moments of quiet and peace away from the bustle and hustle of the capital! There are so many things to love about Moxa, and I've written about them over the years. First and foremost for me are the staff, who put so much heart and attention to detail into making your stay as comfortable as possible. (Thank you again!) And my list of things to love about Moxa goes on: impeccable service, comfortable rooms with Art Deco flair, spotless premises, all within walking distance to cultural landmarks, cafes and restaurants, and subway stations (Romana and Piata Victoriei). The \"boutique\" in the name is apt and well deserved! I highly recommend.

I received an \"upgrade\" from standard to deluxe, as included in the reservation. but I could not see the improvement. Small, noisy room at the ground floor with contractors working or passing close to the window. Hot water missing in the morning. Quite disappointed, this time.

I'm a frequent guest at this hotel. I have been staying here about twice or three times a year, for the last 5-6 years. Throughout that time, there were slumps (think: pandemic) and booms in occupancy. Regardless of the cycle, the service has always been flawless. Great find!

My wife and I (from New York City) were pleasantly surprised by Le Boutique Moxa (Not to be confused with the Marriott branded Moxy Hotels). Our room had a cute terrace and it was spacious - far more spacious ironically than the room we had at The Moxy Hotel financial district in NYC.

The hotel is steps away from Calea Victoriei, which has tons of cafés, shopping, tourist attractions like The Atheneu & art museum. At night, we walked 10 minutes a trendy spot called Mița Biciclișta for some drinks.

Staff was incredibly friendly, very strong English comprehension (Alex and Bogdan were super helpful to us). The gym is tiny, but adequate.

We had an amazing time staying at this beautifully decorated and updated hotel. The staff was very polite and friendly. The rooms were spacious, very clean, boasting gorgeous high ceilings. We often found ourselves stopping in the hallways of the hotel , admiring and taking pictures of all the artwork pieces.
Breakfast was included with our stay which consisted of an European style buffet and freshly baked delicious pastries. The ladles at the bar served us with tasty cappuccinos and lattes.
We visited Bucharest during extremely hot weather, but the hotel's air conditioning system was properly working and kept us cool and comfortable while being in our rooms.
We highly recommend this boutique hotel and it's definitely our favorite place to book next time we visit Bucharest.

I keep coming back to Moxa. They are my port of call, once landed in Bucharest. Love the intimate feel of the place. Love the people running it--from the cleaning staff to the managers. We expended 4 nights, had two rooms one was nicer than the other, one of them was at the older more tired part of the hotel, but closer to the breakfast hall.
The breakfast staff was very attentive, fantastic.
At reception were a bit sharp with the information, after a couple of days I realised it was more cultural kind of behaviour.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at hotel Moxa. The hotel is conveniently located close to Piata Victoriei and a short walk away from the subway station. The room was very clean and had a fridge as well. However, a tea kettle or coffee maker would've been a great addition. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included in the booking and it was delicious. The hotel needs urgent updating, its horrible. The staff was friendly except for a older receptionist who was rather disrespectful and impolite.
I just can’t justify for overall rating!

It was exactly what we needed to visit friends and family in Bucharest. Centrally located but quiet with parks close by. You could walk to everything, restaurants and beer gardens for every budget and little stores to check out. Sightseeing was easy as well. I could even find a nail salon close by.
The hotel is nicely designed and every room is different. We had a small but unique room where the desk and wardrobe was a couple of steps up. The included breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was so welcoming. What can I say: we felt at home. We will come back.
P.S. if you like to get a massage, book it early. There are only three spots a day.

Let's start by saying the staff at this hotel were wonderful. However I found the hotel to be not a 4-star due to its aging rooms, decor, and bedding. The hotel was clean but definitely needs new towels and bath robes. When staying at a VIP Hotel as a gold member I expected more, as the reason I chose a VIP Hotel. At no point did I receive any perks besides an upgraded room from a dark first floor room to the second floor. They did allow me to check-in at noon which was nice. This is a nice 3-star hotel but definitely not 4-star.

I really liked the location of the hotel which was not too far from the old city about a 15 minute walk and was in a nice neighborhood. I had a deluxe room which I found did not seem as nice as in the pictures and I did not have much of a view in the room that I had. The fitness center is very limited and in a small space, the sauna area was a nice touch and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay for the price was very worth it.

We got a great deal at this hotel - I suspect it caters to the business community, and business can be pretty quiet in Bucharest in August - so the online price, including breakfast for three nights, was excellent. This is a pretty, stylish hotel - our room was quite small, but beautifully designed and put together, with a comfy bed, air conditioning, and a minibar, as well as a spacious, pleasant bathroom with lovely toiletries. Hotel Moxa is on a side street off the main drag Calea Victoriei, and opposite a park, so it was really quiet and restful, with just the sounds of crickets to send us to sleep! There's a pleasant little courtyard with tables to enjoy a nightcap in, as well as a cosy bar and breakfast room. Breakfast itself was excellent - really very good - with a big choice of great quality dishes, decent coffee and unlimited return trips to the buffet. The only downsides I'd say are that it's a bit of a hike from the centre of the city - although an interesting, pleasant one, that takes in grand buildings, and fascinating reminders of Bucharest's turbulent past. It's also a ten minute walk from the nearest metro station. More annoying than that though, we had a late night meal and drink in the bar when we arrived, and it was ridiculously expensive - especially the (Romanian) wine which was about 8 euros a glass! Look at those prices, Hotel Moxa, because apart from that you have it absolutely spot on.
