This a review for the room next the check in office. Location was conveniently close to Yosemite. Room cleanliness was mediocre, we found 4 spiders with their webs inside the room, carpet could use more cleanliness as well.
Microwave and fridge were not powerful so items in the fridge did not get real cold and it took several minutes to get anything warm in the microwave.
Beware when you cook outside, we happened to find a black widow under the grill and we found another 3 big black widows nestled on the siding of the property and underneath the outdoor breaker boxes next to the main door, while I understand it is the Sierra nevadas and that is their habitat, the staff could do better prevention to keep spiders clear off these areas such as cleaning spiderwebs frequently and spraying off the perimeter to repel spiders or at least warn the guests about their presence so they do not get surprised as we did. It could have gone bad quickly for us if someone would have gotten bitten while using the grill with the spider in it that we happened to find by chance.

Staff members were so wholesome, kind, warm and welcoming to me and my two teens. Everything from the reservation was organized, well-prepared, I was so grateful! Upon check-in, they took the time to explain the layout of the grounds, amenities and connecting property to help us find dinner and comforts that night. Between both properties, everyone helped me feel safe and secure coming in late into the evening. Definitely will recommend to others! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the facility was well-maintained. Very close to the Yosemite Entrance Gate (Central). The outside shower area was a nice touch. We didn't get a chance to try the swimming pool or the restaurant.

I stayed in the jupe tent for a few nights. It’s nice in that it had a bed(pretty comfy),electricity, and WiFi. However, the “tent” has no ability to completely seal (unlike a traditional tent) so there were pretty big gaps between the structure and the canvas allowing the possibility of all manner of critters to enter. The restaurant next door had decent food for a limited menu, and all the staff at both locations were nice. The downside?? The bathrooms were atrocious. 2 toilets were clogged and had standing poo water in them, they hadn’t been cleaning in the 3 days I had been there as evidenced by the same juice/wine stain on one of the toilets and overflowing trash/out of tp. The showers? Hard pass. There was also a bunch of hair on the floor of my tent.
I get that it’s a campground, but routine cleaning and disinfection of publicly used toilets and showers really should be the least expected. I imagine if you have an RV or camper van, those aren’t major issues. It was close to the park, but I don’t know that I would stay again.

The description on Hotels.com is not accurate. The bathrooms are not attached to any of the cabins.
The toilets and the shower stalls are not maintained by the property staff for cleanliness or supplies. They are even worse than public restrooms. Just for the lack of hygiene, overall cleanliness and basic supplies such as toilet paper and soap running out and not replenished, this place is not worth staying.
There was no warm blanket provided in the room. We had to ask for it after a very cold first night.

There was no one there to check us in when we arrived, we had to wait 30 minutes. The host was very nice once she arrived. The jupe tent was cute and clean but very cold at night, it could use a heated blanket or extra sleeping bags. The bathrooms were very clean.

Our stay was glamping, a tent like structure with as very nice bed. Other than the idiot who hit his car alarm twice in the middle of the night all went as planned. Community shower was clean and not crowded. It was 20 minutes from the park so a rationale drive!

Upon arrival the host was was very unwelcoming stating, \"I'm eating dinner, what do you want?\"

There was a bent nail sticking up from the floor on the threshold between the kitchen & bedroom, that was noticed while walking barefoot. There was no remote control for the TV mounted on the wall. When returning to the office to inquire, the answer was \"there should be one, I'll send someone\"... nobody came. There was blue tape on the back door where the door itself did not meet the door moulding.

The cabin itself could be very charming, with some TLC. It looks nice from the outside and the yard is nice.

Travelers should ignore the bad reviews this property got, especially if booking a cabin or tent cabin. We had a great experience! Super convenient to the south entrance of Yosemite. The basic cabin was so cute and I’d definitely stay there again. It had a kitchen, coffee maker, fire pit and picnic table and chairs outside. It wasn’t cold at all but if traveling in winter months you may want to bring a portable heater. My friend stayed in a tent cabin and it was very nice, looked newly remodeled with nice floors. The check in process was very smooth. They even have a well stocked store with firewood and all camping essentials. I’ve been to several glamping sites and was impressed with my experience at Indian Flat. 5 stars!

We stayed at the little rock cabin. It was very basic, but met our needs. Coffee pot did not work, bring salt and pepper, and get ready for a noisey heater/air conditioner. But the staff is really nice, pool area enjoyable and the overall closeness to the park is wonderful. If you have basic sleeping and eating needs this is perfect for you.

The room and exterior in front of the room were not as clean as we would like. It looked like the photos. Although there were no amenities on site, it was jointly owned with a nearby hotel and guests could use the pool and facilities there. It was the only motel unit, and was close to the road, so after it rained, the cars were loud. Definitely a close location for visiting Yosemite.

The room was as expected & a good space. Bathroom was good & location was perfect booked 2 weeks before so we're very lucky to have found this. Good base for Yosemite 15 mins from the entrance. Good up be able to use pool next door. Extra sheets prided on request for fussy sleepers. I'd like to say we'd stay again but beds were awful unfortunately a new mattress and carpet clean would make the difference. Kitchen needed to be better equipped also no bowls etc had to ask for things. It was good value so close to the park

The cabin was really nice, but few things were different from what was listed in the property description: they advertised as “no towel”, but was plenty of towels (REALLY appreciated). And then they advertised as the oven is there, but is NOT! There is a microvawe, but not a oven.
Beside that, the lady at the check-in was very nice, helpful and kind.
The parking spot right in front of the cabin is just perfect after a long day.
The cabin has everything you need for a wonderful stay!

The location, value, and staff were all wonderful. The tan cabin that we stayed in was spacious and came with great amenities such as a nice kitchen, grill, and a propane fire pit. My critiques are minor things such as the room being a bit dusty and dated, the shower leaking continuously, and one window not having a screen. Overall, the place is a great value for it's proximity to Yosemite National Park. The use of Cedar Lodge's indoor pool and hot tub were also major perks in my opinion.

I arrived to check in at 5 pm. The office was closed, with a sign saying out to lunch. I knocked on doors, called out, couldn’t find anybody. After half an hour, I went to a motel down the road. They eventually tracked down the clerk, who, after more delays, finally showed up. Clerk said problem was my fault, because I was supposed to check in at 3 pm.

The front desk did offer to stay at a sister hotel, but we decided to power through since we were only staying one night. I loved how we had our own fire pit. They had everything we needed to start the fire and even had s’mores. The location was convenient only 25 mins to Yosemite.

Such a terrific option for lodging when visiting Yosemite. It's just a few miles outside the east entrance. They have cozy little cabins for an affordable price. While the infrastructure is not the greatest (it was hit or miss with the heating system and hot water in the cabin itself), the beds were really comfortable, parking was easy, and it was super low maintenance as far as getting firewood, lighting a fire, and relaxing with some wine and enjoying the stars. The staff are pleasant, and the whole experience was hassle-free. The only downer is that there are really no good dining options anywhere near (including the national park, where the food and service are terrible). SO, if you are picky about that, it's best to stock up on groceries on your way. The cabin has a nice kitchenette and a full-sized refrigerator. Highly recommend!

Cabin was very run down. Blinds are in awful condition. Heating would not work properly. Gas heater would come on for a few seconds and just turn back off immediately. Thankfully they had infra red backup heaters but they are not safe and use a lot of energy. Only good thing was the water was nice and hot. I’ll not stay here again. It is just not maintained.

The property was adequate for short stay. We were in a cabin with kitchen. Very old, outdated, only 2 burner electric stove that was wonkey & knob degrees worn off, refrigerator, very tiny freezer had no controls & refrigerator part was so cold it froze my vegetables & drinks, tiny sink. Beds, especially the pull out couch were not comfortable & the sheets were thread worn & dingy. I wouldn't stay there if I was in an RV as the spaces are ridiculously small & cramped.
It's nice you can use the pools, community center next door, & there is a nice small park & beac area across the street. It is one of only 2 dog friendly places near Yosemite.

We stayed in a jupe tent which in theory is cool. It has solar power and each night the battery would say full but within a couple hours it was beeping empty. First night we had lights on and AC set higher than outside tent, second night I only had my phone plugged in, no lights. Also the provided WiFi either wouldn’t let you log in or it said no internet connection. I’m all for roughing it but when I was expecting to have it…otherwise clean tent and restaurant next door was good.

Don’t let the negative RV comment scare you away. Our cabin was absolutely amazing for being in the middle of nowhere. It’s a little outdated, but I didn’t expect anything more. One of our burners on the stove didn’t work the first night they had someone come out with a new part the next day they were very attentive. It was very spacious. We had a dog and three adults, and there was plenty of room for everybody a nice TV a somewhat updated bathroom and the pool and hot tub at the hotel next-door that we were able to use was beautiful.

The glamping cabin at Indian Flats was a wonderful experience! The cabin was clean and smelled fresh, clearly cleaned thoroughly with bleach. It came fully equipped with a kitchen and private bathroom, making the stay very comfortable. Housekeeping provided excellent service — they even gave extra soap and shampoo and thoughtfully folded our clothes. Overall, everything was tidy and well-maintained. Highly recommended!

Easy to find, even though we were late to check in. The cabin was so hot but the AC cooled well enough for something so outdoorsy.
Only stayed the night with an early departure due to being close to the park entry and only here for a few days... i would love to stay here longer and seeing people with their campfires it looked really chilled.
Quiet and respectable place and it seemed busy/full. We set off at 7am and got parked easily at Glacier Point AND then at Yosimite falls ona labour day weekend- so it really is well positioned...

Jupe tents were not at all like described, electricity is weak and gave many issues, had to move twice, no actual ac unless you wanted to deplete all your electricity. Staff was very kind and friendly, helped figure out a solution. Everything is pretty close to the rv park so very convenient if staying in the right type of tent/cabin. Would stay again at a different type of tent/cabin

We stayed in one of the jupe tents and it was perfect to explore Yosemite from. The backyard had two chairs, a cute table, a BBQ and a fire pit which was great to relax and cook dinner from. The inside had a super clean, comfortable bed with extra pillows and two folding chairs that could be moved to sit on the porch outside. The motel next door has an indoor and and outdoor pool and hot tub which is available and so rewarding after a day of hiking (or just driving around:-) All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay there and would stay there again.

Check in was quick. The cabin was very spacious and clean. We parked right infront of it. Cabin was a little warm though. The window ac did not cool enough but temperature did drop a bit throughout the night. The bed mattress was too soft and would sink in. We stayed 2 nights due to proximity of Yosemite park entrance, like a 30 min drive. Had a decent dinner at the hotel next door. Overall was a good stay.

I really enjoyed staying here. I rented the cabin with a private bathroom and kitchen. The cabin was clean and extra spacious. The best part was the amazingly friendly and helpful staff! Irma was so great and provided a level of friendliness and customer service which is rarely found in this day and age. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a location near the Arch Rock Yosemite entrance. Wonderful place to stay.

Overall good, however: 1/2 of a roll of toilet paper, no extra roll left, our party was 6 people and booked a 2 queen + sofabed cabin. had spider webs, somewhat understandable as the place is in the middle of mountains, the little kitchen was nice eventhough we did not use it, those beds need to retire, although comfortable, they have a giant sag in the middle. it was very convenient to go to the little private beach at the river. overall I would stay here again for the location and ambiance.

We were beyond disappointed with the cabin. For reference, we love tent camping and were expecting to “rough it” a little with the cabin. The location to Yosemite was great, but the cabin itself was dirty (bed sheets were torn/really worn, cobwebs, bugs, gap around edges of door so no way of preventing bugs from entering), and the bed size was definitely double beds - not queen size as listed. The air unit was also incredibly loud - so I barely got any sleep all night. For the price we paid, this was NOT worth it…
Breakfast at the nearby hotel was also extremely overpriced and not great…wish we would have just ate bfst at Yosemite (they have a few options). Cabins would be a great option if they could get a serious face-lift.

The restroom was the shared campground restroom, no issues with that, it was clean and fairly close to the cabin. Cute little place that was great for an overnight stay. The front porch was a nice touch too. There is no heat or AC, but fans are there for use and you can open a couple windows.

We didn't know what to expect but we absolutely loved this little campground! It was so convenient to walk over to swim and have dinner at the Grill. We loved it!
