If you stay more than one day-keep your in room coffee cup. Rinse it and keep it!!! went to front desk and they wouldn’t give a cup behind their counter. Said we could buy a paper cup for 3.50 each at the gift shop.. or bring the cup in our room. They don’t provide room service unless you call. I guess if you don’t keep your coffee cup from the day before, you can call housekeeping and maybe they will show up with a cup. And we only had one washcloth for two people for two nights.

The staff were all very helpful. The room was a
good size and clean. The beds were comfortable.
A bar and grill plus a restaurant. The dinner was adequate. The 2 pools were lovely, as was the jacuzzi and fire pit area. There is a lovely shaded riverside park area, with seating and a bath leading down to a nice small riverside beach area.
The hotel as a large reception with comfortable seating a small well stocked convenience shop off the lobby. All in all a nice place to stay and conveniently located to the west entrance to Yosemite.

We spent two nights at the Cedar Lodge. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. The only complaint was the bed was a little soft in the middle. We slept fine but it could have been a little better. Overall, I liked the place and would stay there again.

The property is conveniently located a short drive from the Yosemite Valley. But the room smelled of mold and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The air-conditioner also smelled odd. It bothered people's allergies. Would look for another place to stay on a future trip to Yosemite.

Check-in was very quick & staff helpful at showing where everything is located. We unpacked & were relaxing in the room when we heard water dripping & discovered water leaking from the bathroom ceiling (we were on 1st flr). Called the front desk & maintenance came to access the situation. They determined it was best for us to be moved to a new room. They were quick to assign a new room, but it was a hassle to repack/move. The new room was very similar, but nicer furniture & the bathroom wasn't as updated. Parking was easy to find for both rooms we had. The bathroom showerhead is very low & the water temperature isn't consistent. On our 3rd day the toilet wouldn't flush. Called the front desk & was told we would have to wait 2 hours as maintenance was at lunch. I asked if she could bring a plunger & I'd do myself as we were leaving in an hour & needed to use the restroom. It wasn't clear what her response was, but a plunger never arrived. We tried flushing several more times & it finally unclogged. They do not service the rooms unless you ask. Our trash was getting full but we had extra bags & just took to outside trash bins ourselves. Beds were comfortable & pillows flimsy, but had 3 to a bed. The AC in both the rooms we were in were very loud, sounded like a plane about to take off. The AC didn't run often enough. We had it set to 68, but it would get hot in between. Restaurant burger is pricey, nice they had take out. Restaurant needs an upgrade. Indoor hot tub worked well.

This is an excellent place to stay on your way to Yosemite National Park. One reason for this is the distance to the Yosemite entrance gate, but the other reason is the YARTS shuttle picks up right in front of the hotel. The room was comfortable and had a cool electric fire with rocks on the wall. It has several swimming oools and hot tubs. The jets were not functioning very well in one of the hot tubs... but the pool environment is very well maintained. Hotel guests can access free wi-fi.

Note that they don't clean your room every night but you can request towel replacements and paper goods from them. Orlando at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Thanks again for a great stay!

This is the best place we’ve stayed! Very clean. The amenities were off the hook! So many to choose from between the multiple pools and the game room. The air conditioner was the best we’ve ever experienced kept the room very cold just the way we like it. Perfect location for fishing and barbecue! The towels were great. The Jacuzzi was perfect in the room. That is so helpful. Nice pool tables games inside swimming pool heated outside pool lit up at night all kinds of lights. We will definitely be going back here and recommend anybody who’s going to Yosemite or loves the mountains to pick this place?

It is located about 35 minutes drive away from Yosemite NP, 15 minute to the park entrance. The room is large enough with King bed. The bed is comfortable. It has a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker. It has all we need in our tour in Yosemite Park. We had 2 rooms and stayed for 3 nights.

Staff were very nice and helpful.

The facilities are relatively out of dated. The AC is loud, bed sheets look have been used for a while. Breakfast is expensive but good. There is only one restaurant for dinner so we had to go up to another place.

Overall, we did not expect to have such hotel with these many convenient supply and large room in the place that so close to the park. We appreciate our stay.

The room was decently sized and beds were comfortable. The hotel was overall charming and simple. Some things are very outdated like the TV screen and noisy AC unit.

Dinner at the Bar and Grill was tasty and generously priced; HOWEVER, the breakfast was an insult: A $24 per person buffet with no drinks included for free (no, not even cofee). Some dishes, silverware and parts of the restaurant were dirty. Servers and staff looked and acted like amateurs. Food was ok but definitely not close to being worth $24. I get that Yosemite has little food options around and they can get away with this, but it is unacceptable to present something like this to your guests. Overall I still recommend the hotel but plan bringing something else to eat like frozen burritos or sandwiches.

I tried to write this privately, but there was no email or direct phone.
1. Please check this room (504) for bed bugs. I had welts 2 of the 3 mornings that were not there when I went to bed.
2. We had a 4” stain on our white blanket and a small stain on a sheet.
3. There was no lotion.
4. Bedskirt looked like it came from 1970s and had stains
5. For the price, we would have liked daily housekeeping. We had to ask for fresh towels.
6. Coffee was not good
Positives were that the front desk staff were helpful and we liked the restaurant. The breakfast was good but overpriced.

This property does not honor third party reservation request. They will give people who book through their site priority for booking no matter whom booked first. Be aware of it. I was told the room had been renovated .The room was not a clean room. Wallpaper pealing off wall. Enough dust in the room to make anyone wheeze . I took a cloth wiped one inch on the baseboard.The kitchen facet was loose and worked poorly. The sheets were yellowed.The walls dirty. The tub has jets in it. We were afraid to use it for fear of what would come out. If one can scrap stuff off a jet or tub it is not clean. The bathroom sink sprayed water all over the counter. There were no coffee cups. This room was considered a kitchenette . I asked for an oven with booking. I did not get one. I was told the only room availiable with an oven would cost 200$ more a night. We were there for 5 days. The quality of this lodge has gone down in the last few years. What you pay for is the location to Yosemite.

Cold water in our hotel restroom sink was turned off due to a leak. Only hot water was available for use. They offer free coffee in lounge but you have to purchase cups or bring your own. I think for the price you pay they should offer cups and have a working faucet.

A very expensive stay for no Wi-Fi (which they advertise as having), no TV since there is no Wi-Fi, a small flat sheet on the bottom of our king mattress (a foot to short and not wide enough to cover the mattress), you have to pay for coffee in the lobby with powder creamer and no decaf, and broken icemaker machine.

Our free upgrade was great and a surprise. The pooland hot tubs were fantastic. Everything was very clean and the gift store had a great variety.

The Canyon Grill next door was very average and wasnt that good but made due since it was the only eating place near by.

I have no high expectations for this lodge. I choose to stay there is because I spend most of my days hiking in Yosemite. I just need a place to clean up and sleep. I've been staying at this property 5 years in a row now. The conditions of the lodge is really getting worse. Like toilet dispenser is falling off the wall , faucet is falling of the wall, the shower spray is really weak, the water temperature is impossible to adjust. It's either too cold or too hot if you adjust it even a tiny bit. While you finally get the right temperature it will change suddenly and constantly either too cold or burning hot while you're showering! It can be noisy, too. You can hear people walking by or talking. For how much

The overall experience was good. Due to a road closure, the only dining was at the lodge and it would have been nice to have it open a bit longer. No power to our room (and the hot water for showers) on the day we checked out was not pleasant, but also likely not your fault.
A room of young guys just down from us who were climbing during the day and doing pot in the evenings got a bit old.
The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was clean but the lodge/hotel is old.

There is no central cooling just a window Air Conditioner which took a long time before the room starts to cool down.

The Air conditioner makes so much noise that makes it hard to sleep.

The Power went out on 5/11/2026 Monday night at around 11:00pm, the phone is also dead and there is no cell service. If I have any health emergencies, I would not be able to get help easily. Fortunately, the power came back after an hour.

There's a mini fridge but no microwave in the room. There's no eating place around except their own restaurant.

Not very impressed with this place.

The office staff wasn't very helpful. I little smart ass to be blunt. The room was wasn't great. TV had snow on the screen and couldn't really watch it. Has a bad cable. Wifi was very limited and since there isn't any cell service, made it difficult. The place could be nice if they just brought it into the current decade.

This property is a great option if going to Yosemite Nat'l Park. It is outside the park but still one of the closer properties to the Valley Floor Entrance. This property has several Hot tubs which are nice after a long day of hiking. They have an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. There is a nice walking path across the street right next to the Merced River, There is a restaurant on site and a nice gift shop.
My only complaint is not enough outlets in the room. Bring an extension cord and a power strip if you will need to charge multiple things.
I have stayed here twice and enjoyed the experience both times.

Great location near Yosemite, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. The property has a lot of amenities, especially for families: outdoor and indoor pools, a game room, BBQ areas, easy parking, and even a river nearby. They also have a nice mini grocery store and gift shop open late, which is very convenient for this location and has pretty much everything you might need. My fam really enjoyed it.

Some rooms/buildings are a bit older, but ours was relatively clean, and the facilities were kept in decent shape. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food options for breakfast/dinner were okay, but service could be slow at times since it seemed like one person was handling cooking, cashier, and everything else.

A couple of small downsides from guests: some guests were loud early in the morning, and smoking very close the rooms.

Overall, a great place to stay if you want convenient access to Yosemite, family-friendly amenities, and a scenic location with amenities. Good value given the location.

Room was beautiful and spacious and great location. My room refrigerator was leaking when I arrived and although staff was informed, it was still leaking when I left the next day, so not addressed. Staff when I was checking out was friendlier than checking in. Restaurant only had one floor employee, so a little hectic/slow but good food.

Not all rooms are renovated. We stayed in an older room with a small bathroom and shower that leaked out. The bathroom was not completely clean. The hot tub and pools had bugs in them, and the indoor pool was broken the first day.

Room size was good. But everytime we used bathroom, we would get locked in and had to call the front office to bail us out. The lock was bad. Internet with very week to no connection. Poor TV reception, no ice around us. Fridge was a freezer, all our items froze and got spoiled. No coffee amenities for guests of two. We had to ask for them. No electric car chargers.
